skill allocations
Hi,
I'm a bit new here since while I did buy the game back at launch I never really played it for various reasons. Now I've returned and picked it up again recently I notice that while I have a large number of skills and such to choose from, I have only 6 slots to put skills in. So I'm really trying to understand what was the point of making all those skills with no way to use them.
I mean, weapon skills, class skills, faction skills, why? what am I supposed to do here? If I want to make a sorcerer, I have to choose to use class skills or weapon skills, but not both somehow.
I've looked around at some of these websites and all that did was confuse me more. Where is the diversity? the opportunity to build something that isn't just a copy paste of every other class on the field?
so, I'm asking some of the more experienced players here to help me understand this a little bit more.

What happened to my windows? (Mathiisen Manor)
I just noticed today that my windows in my house have been completely replaced with wall.
This is what I see now:

Zenimax - Please consider removing the annoying LOUD Warden pet summon sound
I'd like to make a suggestion that you consider removing the loud sound a warden bear pet makes EVERY SINGLE TIME a warden enters an area. Not only is it distracting but it's WAY too loud. It sounds like an explosion or something. Things like this seem good on paper but when you're actually a player and you have to hear it all the time in or near cities, it gets very tedious.

PvP Healer Gear Setups
My purpose in this thread is these 3 questions (when considering playing a healer in PvP):
1- What setups do other pvp healers like to use AND what is the thought process behind it? Do you aim for personal survival/tankiness (cant heal when youre dead), or do you sacrifice that a bit in favor of more resources/group utility? Im always curious to not just know what setups people use, but what pros/cons they considered when making the choice.
2- How do you change this (or would you change this) for Cyrodill as compared to BGs? The wide open nature of Cyrodill often conflicts greatly with BGs, but at the same time there is a good chance you will find yourself alone in either scenario, or running with a small group in either case. Do you change your setup and if so, what do you do?
3 - Templar vs Warden. How differently do you set them up? Do you even? As I stated already I have a feeling the warden doesnt need much more raw healing power, but Im not sure at this point what sets I would look to use.
Personally I've run a lot of Cyrodill in the past with both my templar and warden healers and enjoy using Kagrenac, Sanctuary, and the Troll King sets (S&B/resto weapons) which has been great for sustain/resources, raw healing power, and quick res's. Ive enjoyed the templar in the kagrenacs/sanc/troll king, but really think the warden has enough raw healing output going that I could switch it up a bit. I've been considering going with necropotence and imperium with a monster set (S&B/resto weapons again) which is what inspired this whole thread.

**POLL FOR ZOS** Are you happy with the number of housing slots to furnish your home?
500 Slots used for the arena, secret cave underneath arena, and the name in the water. Leaves me 200 to do the entire castle, and the whole courtyard... In all honesty I don't even think doubling the available item slots would be enough to make a manor look decent. ZOS has said in the past they started out extremely low to see how the servers could handle it, and planned on increasing the item limit. Yet this did not come with the expansion we all paid an extra $60 for?
Getting a lot of questions about visiting my arena. @Shadzilla on PC NA server if you would like to come by. 80% of the place is completely bare though, due to insanely low item limit.

Battlegrounds are a terrible experience.
Let me just start by saying I have been playing for about four months now and have enjoyed almost every moment of it. I have been looking forward to battlegrounds for some time now as I was an avid prior MMO Battlegrounder.
The battleground experience right now is absolutely terrible. Premade teams of highly tuned proc builds 1 shot anyone who is even remotely not an op meta one shot class. Time to kill is literally around 3 seconds in 1v1 and even lower 1vx.
This is incredibly elitest and not what i was expecting or hoping at all. My first 10 battlegrounds all resulted in getting completely facerolled with zero chance for any fun.
I get that I could roll one of like the 3 overpowered 1 shot classes that comprise 80% of the battlegrounds scene but this is just rediculous.
I doubt I will be returning to battlegrounds anytime soon and i am positive this has left a bad impression on most of the community who has tried with the exception of the 5% of the playerbase who knows how to take advantage of every non cp strategy possible.
Let the learn to plays roll in, but that doesnt change the fact it is an absoluttely terrible experience for 95% of the ESO population.
If Morrowind BGs were pitched as elitest stompfest where 2 builds will reign supreme without a single chance for a majority of the playerbase I would imagine this would make people cringe. But the fact is true.
This rant is in hopes that ZOS does something to tune down certain sets and dmg in non CP and fix this disappointment.

It's from an item set, and the specs of the 5th worn item. It says:" Adds X spell damage to your cast time and channeling abilities" What does that mean, or what type of abilities does it effect?

Stamsorc gear setup / build?
Hello,
I've been using a Nightblade as my primary stamina character but thought it'd be fun to make a Stamsorc and see what they're like.
At the moment I'm using the following gear:
5 Hunding's Rage
1 Kra'gh
1 Velidreth
3 Agility, WD Enchants
2 Leki Daggers
1 Random Bow
Stats: (Redguard)
WD - 3400
WC - 60%
Stamina - 34k
SR - 1350
Health 15.5k
That's with buffs, using Dubious Camoran Throne.
The stats seem a little low for some reason or is that ok? I can get to 3600 WD when berserker enchant procs but still...
Any advice? Mostly PVE but want to get into PVP soon.
