We are CtrlAltElite , a NA based guild, and are opening our doors for recruitment!

About Us:
If you are tired of feeling like a number in a guild and would rather actually get to know those you are playing with, then we may be the right fit for you! We are a smaller, tight knit group of players that have migrated to ESO from one game or another. We have players from Everquest, WoW, FFXIV, GW2, and a host of others, so our mmo experience as a guild is "well-traveled". Many of us have played since beta and day one while some others have recently joined our ranks within the last year or so. We have players that play on a very casual basis as well as players that approach the game with a more "hardcore" mentality, we strive to be able to accommodate any kind of player.

What we can offer YOU
We are mainly a PvE Focused guild, with our goal being progression on new trials as they are released, as well as going back and going for competitive leader board scores. We also have a fully furnished Guild House , complete with Mundus Stones , Crafting Stations, etc! Trials are run on Friday and Saturday evenings at 9 PM EST every week. Further details on trials will be listed below or on our website.

Trials Info
We currently have our trials split up into two "runs" depending on the day:

Friday
These are our Progression team runs. This is the highest level of PvE content that CAE has to offer and there are strict requirements to be allowed into this run. We consider our progression nights a serious occasion and go into these with a very dedicated, "ready to work" mindset. If you prefer more relaxed, goofing off runs, these would not be for you :smile: . We are approaching a full roster in terms of our progression team at the present time but if you believe yourself to be exceptional, please still apply, and if you are as amazing as you believe, we will do our best to find a way to get you in!

Saturday
These are our Leaderboard runs. We call this "Dealer's Choice" in that those who have signed up for this run via our website get to choose what the "target" is for this week. We then run whichever trial the majority of the group so chooses. While these are not on the level of our progression runs, we still do try to aim for high leaderboard scores for the week, at the VERY LEAST we aim to get a score that will stick throughout the week. Our requirements for these are a bit more lax than the progression runs, but you are still expected to be very proficient at your chosen role.

Necromancy Skill Line (AGAIN)

It seems I make one of these threads every year or so. I guess it just baffles me that it's been years since ESO launched and we still don't have necromancy despite necromancers being A: a major part of the story and B: playable in every prior elder scrolls game. I also understand that being a necromancer would conflict pretty severely with the main story quest at multiple points so here's an idea. After defeating Molag Bal and completing the story quests, Abnur Tharn contacts you and asks to meet in the Harborage where he trains you in the necromantic arts.

It occurs to me that not much has changed with the base game since the last post so instead of simply updating I've reworked the idea from the ground up so that the dev team (if they ever read this) would see that there are many ways to implement necromancy. With this variation on the idea, instead of having an army of zombies, you'll have a single powerful minion, and several support skills, each of which has an additional effect for your minion.

Flesh Atronach - (toggle) Construct a powerful undead minion to fight for you. The minion remains at your side until destroyed. Once constructed, this skill becomes "Vile Fountain" which commands the minion to vomit diseased bile at its feet, dealing disease damage and inflicting minor defile to enemies for 10 seconds (7/8/9/10 meter radius). This minion's damage is based on your weapon or spell damage, whichever is higher.

Bone Colossus (Morph of Flesh Atronach) - (toggle) Construct a powerful undead minion to fight for you. The minion remains at your side until destroyed. Once constructed, this skill becomes "Dread Roar" which commands the minion to let loose a terrifying roar, inflicting nearby enemies with major maim, minor cowardice, and minor uncertainty for 10 seconds. This minion's damage is based on your max health and its health is increased by 25/50/75/100%.

Ritual of the Lich (Morph of Flesh Atronach) - (toggle) Construct a powerful ranged undead minion to fight for you. The minion remains at your side until destroyed. This minion's attacks heal the most injured ally for 50/55/60/65% of the damage done. Once constructed, this skill becomes "Blasphemous Martyr" which commands the minion to sacrifice itself to grant you and your allies a damage shield that absorbs 100% of their max health in damage. This minion's damage (and subsequently healing) is based on your weapon or spell damage, whichever is higher.

Blood Curse - deals magic damage over time and inflicts major defile for 5/6/7/8 seconds. Only one target can be cursed at a time. Using this skill commands your minion to attack the targeted enemy and your minion deals 25/30/35/40% more damage to this enemy. Costs magicka and scales based on spell damage and max magicka.

Plague (morph of Blood Curse) - deals disease damage over time and inflicts major defile for 10 seconds. Only one target can be cursed at a time. Using this skill commands your minion to attack the targeted enemy and your minion deals 50% more damage to this enemy. If target is killed while plague is active, it deals disease damage every second for 10/12/14/16 second to nearby enemies while they remain near the corpse. Costs stamina and scales based on weapon damage and max stamina.

Leeching Curse (morph of Blood Curse) - deals magic damage over time. and inflicts major defile and minor lifesteal for 10 seconds. Only one target can be cursed at a time. Using this skill commands your minion to attack the targeted enemy and your minion deals 50% more damage to this enemy. Costs magicka and scales based on spell damage and max magicka.



Vile Feast - when cast on a dead body, your undead minion will leap to it and feast for 5/4/3/2 seconds, restoring 100% of its health. Nearby allies can activate the "Cannibalism" synergy, and join the feast, restoring 30% health over 5/4/3/2 seconds. no cost.

Empowering Feast - (morph of Vile Feast) when cast on a dead body, your undead minion will leap to it and feast for 2 seconds, restoring 100% of its health and granting it major berserk for 10/12/14/16 seconds at the end of the feast. Nearby allies can activate the "Cannibalism" synergy, and join the feast, restoring 30% health over 2 seconds. No cost.

Vile Explosion - (morph of Vile Feast) when cast on a dead body, your undead minion will leap to it and feast for 2 seconds, restoring 100% of its health. Nearby allies can activate the "Cannibalism" synergy, and join the feast, restoring 30% health over 2 seconds. Deals disease damage to nearby enemies at the end of the feast and deals increased damage for each ally fed. No cost. Explosion damage scales on weapon damage and max stamina.



Stench of Death - You and your minion deal magic damage every second to nearby enemies for 10/12/14/16 seconds. Costs magicka and scales based on max health. 8m radius.

Terrifying Presence - (morph of Stench of Death) You and your minion deal magic damage every second to nearby enemies for 16 seconds. Each tick has a 15% chance to inflict 4 seconds of fear. Costs magicka and scales based on spell damage and max magicka. 8/10/12/14m radius.

Oppressive Gloom - (morph of Stench of Death) You and your minion deal disease damage every second to nearby enemies for 16 seconds. Each Tick has a 35/40/45/50% chance to set enemies off balance. Costs stamina and scales based on weapon damage and max stamina. 8m radius.



Death's Grasp - The hands of the dead claw up from the ground to grasp at the feet of your enemies. Enemies standing in the targeted area are immobilized for 3 seconds. While your minion stands in the area, it is immobilized but also immune to pull, knockback, and fear for the duration. Costs magicka, 8m radius, lasts 5/6/7/8 seconds.

Clawing Grasp (morph of Death's Grasp) - The hands of the dead claw up from the ground to grasp at the feet of your enemies. Enemies standing in the targeted area are immobilized for 3 seconds and bleed for 10 seconds. While your minion stands in the area, it is immobilized but also immune to pull, knockback, and fear for the duration. Costs stamina and bleed damage scales on max stamina, 8m radius, lasts 10 seconds.

Hands of Doom (morph of Death's Grasp) - The hands of the dead claw up from the ground to pull your enemies down. Enemies standing in the targeted area are knocked down for 2/2.2/2.4/2.6 seconds. While your minion stands in the area, it is immobilized but also immune to pull, knockback, and fear for the duration. Costs magicka, 8m radius, lasts 10 seconds.



Blight the Sky - Creates a cloud of corruption above the targeted area for 8/10/12/14 seconds granting allies Minor Evasion while they remain in the area. Allies can activate the "Shroud of Corruption" synergy to gain invisibility for 2 seconds. Your minion gains major evasion while in the area. Costs magicka.

Acid Rain (Morph of Blight the Sky) - Creates a cloud of corruption above the targeted area for 15 seconds granting allies Minor Evasion while they remain in the area. Allies can activate the "Shroud of Corruption" synergy to gain invisibility for 2 seconds. Your minion gains major evasion while in the area. Deals disease damage every second to enemies within the area. Costs stamina, damage scales on weapon damage and max stamina.

Aura of Darkness (Morph of Blight the Sky) - Creates a cloud of corruption above your head granting nearby allies Minor Evasion for 15 seconds. You and your minion also gain Major Evasion for the duration. Allies can activate the "Shroud of Corruption" synergy to gain invisibility for 2 seconds. Costs magicka.

Corrupted Blood - Increase damage done by necromancy abilities by 1/2% per necromancy ability equipped.

Soul Reaping - Restore magicka or stamina (whichever pool is lower) when anything dies within 20 meters of you (4/2 second cooldown).

Forbidden Knowledge - Share your knowledge of the dark arts with another player once every 7 days (this grants the first rank of necromancy. They will need to play the questline to advance)

Ravenous Undead - Killing an enemy grants your minion major expedition for 10/15 seconds

Necrotic Empowerment - Activating a necromancy ability grants your minion Empower for 5 seconds.

Meat Shield - While within 8 meters of your undead minion, you and your allies gain a 10% max health damage shield for 6 seconds. The shield is reapplied every 6 seconds.

Suggestion: Trading post\Items wanted board

As an alternative to the endless begging for an "auction house", why not try something different and implement a Trading post\Items wanted board to allow people to request items.

Instead of having this designed for sellers (who already have zone chat and guild traders), it would allow players to be able to place a request for between 1 and 5 different items [I would suggest 1 item at a time], and for others to be able to supply these items for them (And who knows...Maybe a "daily" quest could also be supplied at a later stage).

For example, we have a player who (for some unknown reason) wants a CP160 "training" Spriggan's restoration staff. This would allow them to place a request at the trading post/wanted board, along with their offer price and a % buyers fee (deducted from their account and held until item offered or request removed). others could then see what items are wanted, and potentially decide to either request the same item, with whatever price they wish to pay for it, or sell the item to whoever has the highest offer for it (Or request a completely unrelated item). Payment would be received instantly, with the item arriving in buyers mail in the same way as items from a guild store.

This would both allow an extra potential gold sink (both through less money entering game via bottomless gold-source of vendor and the % fees applied) as well as making it easier to acquire those "unusual"/"worthless" items which rarely make it to guild stores as their value is considered too low to be worth listing. In addition, all players would then have the ability to sell items (maybe with a daily/weekly cap similar to that of fences) removing, or at least decreasing, the constant demands for an "auction house", while limiting the impact on the current guild trading system.

My characters face has changed right after character creation.

Hello.

Yesterday, i spent well over an hour, to create a perfect character with nice face and a litle smile. I was quite pleased with it.

Then i logged in and noticed, that the face had a grin on it and the general feel was comåpletely different from what it was in character creation. The face had changed from happy mood to brooding. I thought it was just an feature that was put on me since the slavers had captured me, so i did not pay that much attention to it yesterday.


Today when i continued, the same brooding grin, which is also quite ugly, still persists aned no matter what personality i use, the face is frozen to perma brooding grin.

Has this happened to anyone else?

PS4 na server.

The only way to survive the statue poison is to be standing on the edge and walk out. Dodge rolling is guaranteed death. Your dead body can be lying 2 matters outside of the aoe.

Couple this with the almost complete lack of reaction time, means being more the 1 foot in the aoe is certain death.

Realistically, what mounts do you want most that will probably never happen?

Now I'm not talking about mounts like dragons, etc. I'm asking what types of mounts people want to see in the game that could actually be done, but probably won't. Everyone wants a dragon or something crazy, but that won't happen so let's discuss REAL possibilities instead.

I'd love to see a mammoth and a NETCH mount to start with.

Hey Everyone,

Dracast is a new podcast for the PVP Community with a focus on organised raid-style pvp.
We wanted to promote this style of gameplay (as you will hear in the podcast) because the level of such kind of group gameplay compared to numbers of solo / '1vX' style and faction groups is extremely low right now and has been for some time.
Many guilds have quit or are no longer competitive and fights are becoming more and more just one event on the map.
There are also a lot of misconceptions about how high level raids actually function and play and what impacts a raid.

Hopefully you enjoy this. If you have questions you would like us to discuss or any constructive feedback feel free to contact us.
If it doesn't interest you, no problem, it won't be for everyone.

Thanks to @Vilestride, @Rin_Senya and @Sanct16 for co-hosting and sharing their points. It wasn't easy collaborating from Australia, Russia, Germany and UK for this.

Seriously, I can't even have a 2 vs 3 fight at a farm in Cyrodiil without half my skills failing to cast. Instead of adding useless garbage no-one cares about how about you fix this mess already? It's been years and nothing has changed. It's pissing me off beyond belief. I can't imagine anyone is enjoying spamming buttons hoping something will work all the time.

Am i the only one noticing this ?!?

Just did darkshade 1 ( daily ) and the dungeon looked amazing ! Nee details new lighting new features everywhere in the dungeon.

About to do the other pledge if all dungeons got reworked that would be amazing im just surprised I havnt heard anyone talk about this the dungeon looked great lookin forward to doing other ones just to see :)

I woke up today, turned on my PS4 and started ESO. On the top right of my screen, I see,"Update the application to use online features". I back out of the game and check my notifications. A 56.114GB update.

Alright.

I put my PS4 in rest mode and immediately log on my laptop and check the forums. "Is there a new DLC or something?" I thought. I see the newest patch notes for PS4: Version 1.33. I read the little paragraph and the last sentence just got me mad. "The size of this incremental patch is approximately 647.5MB" WHAT.

Can someone explain why my update was ~90 times greater in size?

I have a bowblade that is ~cp240. This character is a master crafter, gather, thief, motif farmer( to a degree), etc. What i would call a trash character which is why i went bow( i like bows they just suck as a main weapon here). Im not using him for vet content, serious pvp, trials or anything like that. He is used for delve bosses, world bosses( group not solo) and normal dungeons( including DLCS)

Front bar is pos inj, snipe, draining shot, caltrops( not morphed yet), and endless. Back bar is an assortment of vigor, blood alter, siphon, and blood funnel. I use the back bar as a heal bar in solo play and i havent updated it really. The front bar is what is important as im keeping a simple rotation with only the front bar used.

gear wise:
purple agility jewels, 5 piece hunding's ( gold/purple) with hundings' bow, rest is purple night mothers.

Ive been going partly off an alcast DW/bow stamblade and using a build editor( UESP) for my build. Alcast says go warrior stone. But im wondering if in my situation lover would be better, since i am doing a lot of solo work or random groups. I have minor fracture of course but i feel like my lack of penetration( about 1k from CP) is holding me back on DPS.

Now DPS isnt a huge deal as im not doing any serious end game stuff on this character. Right now im pulling about 8k-10k on a skeleton self buff, no cheese, no pots. Id like to be around 15k parse instead of 8-10k.


My problem is alcast is set up for end game content which im not doing with this character, so im wondering if i should go with lovers because i have to be self reliant. I am also thinking about other gear combinations. I have velidrath monster shoulders. Im thinking about swapping out night mothers using the monster shoulders and go with another set that has weapon damage for 2 items that way i get weapon damage for hunding, monster, and another set. I also considered having TBS as my main set and using warrior and lover.

Opinion on what stone would be best in my situation? also if you have any thoughts on gear( craftable or BoE) that might be better for my situation, by all means share.

Ebony Motif Should Be For Sale

Hi,

I just wanted to sort of suggest that the Ebony Motif be for sale in the Crown Store. To name a few reasons, I will start with the most obvious - you are required to be a master crafter in order to obtain it. As someone who likes to play on multiple characters, this is pretty tough. On PS4 NA, heard that it is estimated to be about 400,000 Gold. Now that is a lot of shekels. It is a very cool motif, probably my favorite one actually.

ZOS, of the few things I wish to be in the Crown Store, this is one of them. I feel it is reasonable to suggest as it takes a lot of time and/or gold to get this motif.

P.S. Also, completely irrelevant, but add Jorunn’s beard and hair as well as Sai Sahan’s beard! They are already assets in the game and I would gladly throw some shekels your way for them!

Fix the On Mass DC's.

Of recent, ever since clockwork city, if people congregate in an area long enough, they get kicked on mass. It's allways a 'ESO has stopped working' crash and not a just boot to login screen.

The fact it affects multiple people means it is a serverside issue, period. I would suggest looking at the archetecture of your chat server.

This isn't the only thing I've witnessed happen standing one spot and using the chat function exclusively cause. The game seems to slow down and stutter like crazy as if it has to load new animations. I would hazard a guess and say there's some sort of memory leak reguarding the chat server.

Solving the Zerg Problem...
