Critical Surge and Precise Strikes

As precise strikes is worded as follows:

Increases your Critical Damage and Critical Healing with Stamina abilities by...

Critical Surge is activated using magicka, does this mean that the critical heals receive no buff from Precise Strikes?

Seems a bit naff for Stam Sorcs.
