Since trying out the event, I've had a lot of fun in PVP where I used to avoid it entirely. One thing I noticed super quick, however, was the severe delay between when I fired off a technique and said technique actually happened. It made a few attempts to get into the middle of it with enemy players a little stressful when I wasn't able to guarantee my attacks would go off when they needed to. Through the chat a couple of players informed me that "This is the lag in Cyro we always talk about" and that "It's been worse since everyone started using heavy proc sets from PVE".
I'm new to PVP clearly, but having this experience really did solidly reinforce so many comments and so many forum posts on how bad things are. I guess you don't truly know till you know.
So my question is, why doesn't ZOS enact some sort of requirement where sets farmed in PVE don't work in PVP and vice versa? Wouldn't that take care of the proc set complaints and make balancing things easier in the game if they only had to focus on adjusting sets for the content they were made for? Is this a dumb idea? Is it really more complicated than that? I don't really understand it.
