PS4/NA (Cyro & IC): Vivec - This Must Be The Place...

yes, a very naive melody

initially I had tried to kick off the conversation with questions on a bunch of random topics...
love to fight, carry scrolls, gank, defend, attack, pour oil on folks, repair keep walls til your fingers bleed - this is your thread...
love hearing big and little battle stories, as well as observations concerning the interaction between the alliances in this campaign - who doesn't love a good bridge fight...
big IC fan...at this point i wanna apologize right now for anything weird or crazy i may have done in IC (or for any future stuff)...I'm pretty laid back in cyro - IC has a way of getting me fired up on occasion...
hmmmmm, is it really true cyro reveals whom you want to be, and, IC reveals who you truly are...
if you want - say what's up, and if you like - let us all know what's up...
anyhow - enjoy, and, happy gaming trails...
bonus question: if any one knows where the reference "loose tales" (spelt differently) comes from - you'll win...ummmm, my undying admiration?

Combat Pet Radial Menu Suggestion
When you look at another player and interact (default F) a radial menu pops up with choices.
My idea is that combat pets should have one too.
You look at your clannfear or bear (or twilight or scamp) and it’s hp bar is at the top of the ui indicating it’s selected. Press F and a radial menu pops up showing: A follow/stay toggle, an aggressive/docile toggle and an unsummon button.
We can walk through pets like we walk through other players so the idea that people will block doors with their pets is already taken care of. Also this radial menu idea works for console as opposed to another bar for pet abilities. Furthermore, when the pet is toggled on Stay it should do the appropriate idle animations like polar bears and wild clannfear do (sit, lie down, scratch etc).
Also, it’s time you released the other combat pet skins, Zos.
Edit to add: I figured it out! How they can make sure people don’t park their fat bear butts on top of crafting stations: this terrain is not flat enough. Give them the error horn if they try to park the pet anywhere but flat terrain.
Thank you for your time.

ESO: Morrowind Size Comparison (Now With A Summerset Update)
Many will have seen this in the closed Beta forum, but I wanted to bring the post out since the NDA has been lifted.
The Video Version:
So a recent MMORPG.com article showed a map of Craglorn side-by-side with a map of Vvardenfell with a blurb "Vvardenfell is indeed the game’s largest single zone to date". Well this has lead to many saying it's the same size or even smaller for various reasons.
![Morrowind%201_t.jpg]()
We've also heard repeatedly from ZOS that Vvardenfell is the "largest zone to date". But is it really? That's the task I set out to prove or disprove.
First let's talk about that huge volcano everyone likes to reference. Yep, it's there. Yep, it not explorable space. So with huge props to Reddit user LonelyTank, who did all the work, let's remove all unexplorable space from the maps of Vvardenfell, Craglorn and Wrothgar.
![HrdXSIv.jpg]()
![Pmun3Zg.png]()
Now let's count the pixels of explorable space. Seriously.
So in simply pixels of overworld explorable space, Vvardefell is 27.00% larger than Craglorn and 20.21% larger than Wrothgar. But that's not the whole story.
Comparing maps comes down to the scale of each map. How do we determine that? For this mission I got an assist from the add-on Map Coordinates and here's what I did. I went into Vvardenfell took my starting XY coordinates, /coords with the add-on installed, walked (technically it's running) in one direction for 10 seconds and stopped. I recorded the XY coordinates of my finish point and calculated the distance. I did this three times and came out with an average of 1.4958 units. All maps start at 0,0 in the upper left and end at 100,100 in the lower right. I did the same for Craglorn and got an average of 1.9348 units and in Wrothgar I got 1.9026. The fact that I traversed less distance on the Vvardefell map in the same amount of time means the Vvardenfell map is larger. In fact it is exactly 29.35% larger than Craglorn and 27.19% larger than Wrothgar. This means when adjusted for scale, Vvardenfell's pixel count becomes 108,986 when compared to Craglorn and 107,170 when compared to Wrothgar.
This makes the explorable overland space of Vvardenfell 64.26% larger than Craglorn and 52.90% larger than Wrothgar.

List of confirmed food and drinks for different races of Tamriel
I’m keen on Tamrielic food and I’m trying to figure out confirmed cuisine of every race. I’m trying to put all confirmed food and drinks into lists. My sources are ESO recipes, both current and deprecated (deprecated are not in-game recipes after Update 6, but they are confirmed by lore), lorebooks, dialogues, ESO items and all available lore sources. Cloudrest Golden Ale, Cloudrest Clarified Coffee, Shimmerene Tonic, Crystal Tower Whiskey, Lillandril Tonic Tea (1.4) Vintage Sylph-Mead, Summerset Vintage (1.5)
(1) Deprecated Recipes. Ingredient Wisp Floss has no direct confirmation. Drinks are confirmed as follows: Sylph-Mead is mentioned as Altmer drink in ESO (see 1.1) According to Contraband, Bottle of Vintage Sylph-Mead description, it is made in Glister Vale Hiveworks. Glister Vale is above Tanzelwil – found in Jewelry Crafting Survey: Auridon. So, Sylph drinks are Altmer drinks. No direct confirmation for Dream Madeira, but it doesn’t seem doubtful as it is made of the same ingredient, as Sylph drinks.
(1.1) ESO: Sylph-Mead is found in a dialogues with Prince Naemon and Darkvale Coster. Also Contraband, Bottle of Vintage Sylph-Mead description: Unopened bottle of vintage sylph-mead, quite valuable to connoisseurs, from the now-abandoned Glister Vale Hiveworks.
(1.3) Golden Pear Ale, Metheglin, Old Epiphany are Altmer drinks according to Emperor’s Guide to Tamriel and Kyne's Challenge
(1.4) Current ESO recipes. Altmer origin confirmed by drink names
(1.5) ESO Contraband items
Doubtful AD drinks from Deprecated list- need help with them, seem to be Altmer

Spring Infusion, Blessed Spring Water, Sparkling Spring, all made of Spring Essence. No information for ingredient Spring Essence. Blessed Spring Water is mentioned only one time in Kyne's Challenge, Summerset Isles. But it is referred to as a water, not a drink. So, can this drinks be Altmer? Doubtful.
Golden Apple Ale, Golden Liqueur, Apple Wine, all made of Ripe Apple. No information for Ripe Apple. No information on drinks. There’s a kind of hint: Golden Pear Ale and Cloudrest Golden Ale are confirmed Altmer drinks. Also, “golden” is often used by Altmer: Golden Fleet, for example. Also, they can't be Bosmer drinks because of Green Pact. These drinks seem Altmer to me, but hints are just hints. So, doubtful.

Crawdad Quiche, Crawdad Stir-Fry Crawdad Etoufee made of Crawdad (1.6) Silver Crawdad Surprise (1.7) Spiced Bread, Whitefish (1.8)
(1.6) Deprecated Recipes. Ingredient Crawdad is confirmed by a recipe (see 1.7) found in Auridon. So these 3 dishes are Altmer. However, Crawdad can't be reliable in defining other dishes (e.g. Current Recipes), as Argonians use it, too.

(2) Deprecated Recipes. Ingredients - Aged Meat and Pig’s Milk are directly confirmed by ESO and TES lorebooks. The drinks made of Aged Meat and Pig’s Milk are also widely confirmed by ESO and TES lorebooks.
(2.1) The ingredient Dusk Beetle has no direct confirmation,. But there is a book The Dreadful Theft of the Sun’s Dusk Ale describing a prosess of brewing Sun's Dusk Ale from bugs. Other drinks share same ingredient and their names clearly show they have the same origin. ALso, there's a Bosmer potion called Torchbug Treacle in ESO (dialogue with Sergeant Firion) confirming that Bosmer do make drinks from insects

(3) Deprecated Recipes. Ingredient Molasses is confirmed to be a Khajiit ingredient in a book “Moon-Sugar for Glossy Fur? Yes!”. Fermented Treacle Tea confirmed in a book “The Chronicles of King Kurog, Book VI”. As Treacle Run, Cane Mead share a same ingredient, Molasses, no doubt they are Khajiit drinks.
(3.1) Deprecated Recipes. Ingredient Glitter Rock has no direct confirmation. Still, 2 confirmed Khajiit drinks are made of it: Sweetmilk (found in “A trader’s Eye for Fashion”) and White Eye (found in ESO Dialogue with Golor).
* Gold Coast Muscat shares the ingredient with confirmed Khajiit drinks, but the Gold Coast in the name puzzles me. Is there a Gold Coast in Elsweyr? Or maybe this sould be read as Gold Muscat “Coast”? Whatever is the answer, Gold Coast Muscat is doubtful for me.

Blackrose Restoration Staff
ZoS, you do realize that this Restoration Staff will become the strongest thing for PvP ever, right? This is Vanilla MagDK levels of powerful.
You removed the only hard counter to MagBlades... sure, nerfed their sustain by a ton, but with that Restoration Staff, and no hard counter to their Dark Cloak spam... Magblades are going to be the only thing seen in PvP.
Every class will have to run Blackrose Restoration staff. Hell, I'll put one on my stamblades if it's that strong in PvP.
