Zos please (re)consider pet sorcs too

While our pets will have reduction of cost, we are being hit on at least 2 fronts.

1. With removal of 3rd bar, we will lose much needed slots. Currently we have 6 slots for skills and another 3 with overload bar, while 6 slots are reserved for pets in total. Removal of 3rd bar severely limits our skill usage and buffs that sorcs need to survive, help others and be viable in fights.

2. Our shield is primary a Conjured ward. With the incoming nerf, we will not be able to shield ourselves and our pets, wasting time and resources on recasting. Since Matriarch is our primary healing, we'll lose healing too as the shield will not be enough to keep her alive as much.

I'm all for changes and skill refreshments, finding new ways of playing, but I fail to see how we'll accomplish anything with these two limitations.

And oh, I play pet sorc in BGs and Cyrodiil. Quite well to be honest. It's a bit atypical on the first sight, but it's rewarding, diverse and fun. And it is possible to be both viable and successful in BGs. Again, with the incoming changes I fail to see how will I manage to keep her alive (especially pets), let alone deal some damage.

hi ive just been told by a guildie that his bosmer if fully immune to the poison and defile status effects? is this true same wud b for argonian, i thought they just took a tiny bit less damage

FOUNDING LORE
The Order of the Grim Raven was founded out of necessity, when an unnamed village now lost to war, famine, and banditry fell under attack. The Ravens were not an organization at the time but rather the only available personnel that were capable of forming the militia for the village. This original militia consisted of an Orsimer, a Breton spellsword, and an over the hill knight with his less than talented squire. They didn't succeed in saving the village but they did succeed in buying enough time for the inhabitants of the village to escape through a hidden path in the woods. Out of the four only the Breton would survive and barely clinging to the thread of his life at that. From that moment forward the Breton decided to go into business if you will by founding his own knightly order, setting up in the long abandoned Castle Raven.

Imperial Charter of the Grim Ravens
(Portions with an Asterisk apply OOC as well)

I. Purpose
To provide a place of refuge, training, and structure for wandering Knights and Squires. To provide a path to recognized Knighthood for the common peoples of Cyrodiil. To provide arms and shields in the service of those who seek them.

II. Authority
The guild being founded in 2E 570 by Sir Matthias Lencolia, being recognized by the "Guilds Act" of Potentate Versidue-Shaie.

III. Rules & Procedures
No member within proper standing within the order shall commit any act to be view as heinous or treasonous. (*)No member within or without proper standing within the order shall harass, insult, or otherwise provoke another member with intent of grievous offense(*). No member within proper standing within the order shall steal (from living or dead, on or off the battlefield,), unless such theft is in due for survival.

ADDENDUM:(*) In the event that the OOC rule has been broken whether IC (without consent) or OOC the member is then to be immediately expelled from the order. The Guild-Master holds absolute reservation of authority over expulsions and demotions of any guild member. However, if the member wishes to appeal the decision of the Guild-Master he is in right to do so, in the event that the member receives a two-thirds vote from guild leadership the Guild-Master's decision will be overturned. Proper due process and investigation into claims will be sought out regardless of wrong doings or rules broken.

ADDENDUM: (Standard Ranks) To achieve the rank of Acolyte one must join the order, to achieve the rank of Squire one must be given their IC base tour and introduction, to achieve the rank of Squire-at-Arms one must contribute with measurable distance to the guild, to achieve the rank of Sergeant one must show activity within the guild and continue it's success, to achieve the rank of Knight one must under go the Grim Oath as well as be level 50.

ADDENDUM: (Officer Ranks) To achieve the rank of Knight-Captain one must show competence at their class and success in either difficult dungeons or PVP, to achieve the rank of Knight-Major one must show the above average competence at their class and have at least one crafting tree available to them either on their main character or alternate. To Achieve the rank of Knight-Commander one must be an expert at their class and be appointed by the Guildmaster.

ADDENDUM: No member whether past, present, nor future may bypass the rank of Knight upon admittance. A person may be granted the rank of Knight upon admittance but such action may only be approved by the Guild-Master or two Knight-Commanders.

ADDENDUM: Effective as of now, an acolyte who undergoes their initial initiation and fortress tour shall be promoted to the rank of squire

IV. Membership Requirements
A Knight, Squire, or Commoner seeking admittance must posess a willingness to assist the order in its needs and to assist it's members. Beyond this there is no requirement beyond a willingness to help out, learn, and contribute.

V. Applications for Membership
Any person who wishes admittance may do so, they must contact either the Guild-Master or any Knight of the Grim Raven.

That's an awfully big penalty to any non-Orc being the main crafter, isn't it? It leads me to consider scrapping the first crafter and restarting the Orc to craft. Annoying.

Worth it to spend crowns on riding training?

Hey guys... just curious here... but have any/many of you spent crowns on riding training? Specifically inventory space and speed?

I recently rolled a new alt. My 3rd in all my play time (i'm cp 212 with a stamblade parked as a crafter alt and a stamsorc as my main).

I rolled up a magplar and am enjoying it. Currently doing the 3 dolmen grind out in the alik'r desert to level up. But i like the look, i like the skills, i like having a healer option, i like the eventuality of being a vampire, high elf paladin (it amuses the hell out of me lol).

Short version: I think i'm gonna be sticking with this alt for awhile. Bonus points in that the PTR notes seem to be good for templars.

The one thing putting me off though? Starting riding training from the bottom again lol. Crafting research doesn't bother me much because i have a dedicated alt for that (i'll probably eventually dip into crafting on this char once i get more points, just for the alch bonus etc... but i won't be doing those month long research projects anymore lol). But riding? Ouch.

I had enough gold to buy most of the normal bag upgrades (i have a few more to get... but i can grind gold if i really need to. If nothing else crafting mats always sell). But the time gate on the riding training hurts. The riding speed is a thing too.

I've been a subscriber forever (crafting bag ftw) and i already have both the banker and shopkeeper from the store. I've bought a couple mounts here and there too and i'm currently sitting on about 10k crowns... and i'm seriously considering dumping something like 4k of them into 40 inventory slots and 4k into riding speed (gives me about 2k if i need exp scrolls or something lol) and then going from there.

What do you guys think? Worth the purchase? Should i just suck it up and wait out the timer? Is there anything else in the crown store i should be saving for? (i still have plenty of character slots and already have the "any race any faction thing).

I'm just looking for feedback on where to go from what I've thrown together since hitting 50 recently on this guy.

5x Silks of the Sun (chest, belt, boots, gloves, pants)
5x Julianos (Ring, Ring, Necklace, Staff)
2x Vicious Death (Head, Shoulders) - Just grabbed it for the 124 spell damage until I could get my DPS high enough to start vets and get a decent monster set

Should I try switching one of the sets out to BSW? Not really 100% on where to go from here.

fist of all I want to apologize about my english, I'm spanish.

Yesterday I saw a bug that never happened or hear about. I was selling some stuff on guild trader (Rawhalka Bank, Reaper March)
Suddenly, I cannot move either up and down in the currency selector ( blocking any possibility to select the price I want to sell that item). I seem that the bug manifested and affected the currency selector in general, blocking also the possibility to withdraw or deposit any kind of currency. I tried to logout, but nope, i was forced to close application on ps4 to solve it. Hope it helps, have a nice day.

With Murkmire I read that Slaughterfish are getting a 3x damage buff, though this was from another post here, I didn't go looking for it in the patch notes. But regardless taking it as truth I realized this may be my last chance at being able to go where no Mikem has gone before, and finally get to the island every Morrowind fan apparently loves. As a disclaimer, I did this using nothing but movement speed buffs and making my mount jump off very high things. No exploiting.

The process was fairly simple, the journey perilous. My main kitty failed greatly several times, but the fish didn't, they ate well that day. Not sure if fish can digest fur though. After that I found a guide on Youtube and changed tactics. Swim speed! Time to get on my Healer. Using the power of Racials and Rapids the path seemed plausible, however tricky.

Crossing the Sea of Ghosts to Atmora though may be challenging. The island itself of course was empty, save for the few ruins you could see from the main island. But the journey and arrival was worth it, actually made me feel like I accomplished something for once in a long while, even if there wasn't any tangible reward.

The Reason I Support Sload

The reason I support sload is those perfect players who mastered everything little thing in this game and use all overpowered skills in order to win all the time and are forcing other players to do the same because of the huge gap between them and other players. Sload set is an easy way to keep up with those perfect players. Maybe if those god-like players didn't spend so much time and energy to win every time sload wouldn't exist. Never used sload because the set description doesn't attract me but I support it. Don't complain if more sets like this appear in the future. Sorry if this post makes you angry I dislike sload too but I explained the reason for supporting it.

So, crystal shards, one of the core skills of the sorcerer, deals a lot of damage, but only 1 morph is useful, because it's just so superior.

I suggest this change for this skill, make the proc baseline, one morph stays the same, the other becomes a stamina morph, and also reintroduce the stun and 20 % extra damage, because currently sorcs are a bit lacking in the dps department.

Increase the range. 10 meters would be great.

This skill is completely unreliable because the range is pathetic. This is an ultimate, albeit a cheap one. It shouldn't be so difficult to land hits with it. It's especially bad now that so many people have swift jewelry. It's so bad in its current state, things can move out of range in the time it takes to ping the server. I constantly register a miss when the cast started with the target in range.

Fun fact: Grothdarr procs have a larger radius. 8 meters vs 6.

Here's a quick video I captured, showing the ultimate missing an NPC. The ability hits for five digits on the setup I'm using in the video. The hits you see are from other sources. No audio, as it was muted and this was grabbed with an instant replay function. I didn't set out to record it.

Fix Nord Racials Please

Give us SOMETHING so we're not the least used race.

Seriously the racial bonuses are hugely unbalanced. Redguards aren't the only Fierce Fighters. Races like Orcs, Nord and Redguard should have Stamina Gain and light Attack gain. They are the most fierce melee fighters.

Mages seem to have pretty limited choices - summoning, storm, and dark. If a mage is a 'good' character, can they use dark magic? I only have the name to go by - though the demonlike pets summoned by the summoning magic are rather worrisome as well. What's a good mage to do, only lightning?

Psijic Villa reward: "Unfurnished" or "empty of all furnishings and decorations"?

I'm looking for clarification on the state of the Psijic Villa when it's awarded the week after next. There is a Support Q&A page on this topic that seems to contradict the preview we can see on Live right now, so I found myself more confused rather than less after reading it.

On the Support Q&A site, it's stated that the Villa reward comes "empty of all furnishings and decorations." Yet the in-game (Live, not PTS) preview shows us the "unfurnished" version - which has over 100 base furnishings and decorations, including over 60 plants and 40 pieces of lighting.

Are we going to get the "unfurnished" version (with those 100+ base furnishings, as shown on Live right now) or something *completely* empty (zero items, as stated on the Support page)? If completely empty, why are we being shown the "unfurnished" (i.e. base furnished) version on Live? If "unfurnished"/base furnished, why does the Q&A page state otherwise?

Make Heavy Armor users significantly slower

ZOS should make Heavy Armor users at -least- 20% slower in movement speed then medium/light armor users.

- It is logical that Heavy Armor should be a -lot- slower
- Heavy Armor currently has no downsides

Can we get rid of the addon error dialogs?

OK, so addons sometimes have problems indexing null values...
Here is my point. One, the information the dialog provides is useless to the users and often of little help to the addon programmer.
Two, the addon often works just fine except for the error dialog that is in your face.
NONE of the players I know care about the error but do care that the dialog can pop up in a boss fight and initiate a wipe.
Am I alone in thinking that these error dialogs are 99.99% useless and harmful?
