The fights were fierce and constant. Pushed hard from both sides, the Dominion lost both of their scrolls, one after the other. They were hidden away, taken far from Aldmeri lands deep within enemy territory, then defended by some of the most stalwart warriors the opposition had to offer. Wave after wave of soldiers poured from these keeps of stolen grace, the Pact and the Daggers taunting us with their ill-gotten plunder. But the Dominion rose to the challenge! Conquering the every outpost and castle in our way, we rode gloriously through the halls of the Pact first, resecuring what they'd taken in an amazing show of faction solidarity. Then back up the Western reaches and Dagger lands, the blood not even dried from our armor, we valiantly charged forth to the very tip of Cyrodiil and pulled back our second scroll from the very claws of a dragon.

No force can stop the Dominion! We are a divine people with an abounding respect for each other, who may never be divided even in the thick of our most desperate combat! With mutual love build on a solid foundation of good communication there is nothing we cannot accomplish! Dominion forever! Novas from here to Skyrim!

So you have the awesome looking clockwork crafting stations, except you're missing one which really needs to be added because nobody wants to mismatch. The jewelry one.

You have the following:
Woodworking
Blacksmithing
Clothing
Enchanting
Alchemy
Provisioning

I went to purchase the jewelry one and noticed that it wasn't there, so now I can't complete my crafting room because I refuse to use the regular because it doesn't fit the theme.

What is a Crafting guild you ask?
Well...good question. You probably have a handful of guilds that you are in that focus on builds, dungeon running, pvp/pve progression etc. Which is great. But consider adding a guild that specifically focuses on the Crafting aspect of the game. That is where we come in.

This guild is meant to help build Crafters of ALl experience levels by offering activities and amenities that will boost and reinforce your crafting skills.

Including but not limited to:

*Material Farming
*Weapon Farming for decon items
*Skyshards runs ( to increase skill points that can be used for crafting)
*Dungeon runs (specific item hunts)
*World Bosses
*A bank with recipes, diagrams, materials and runes...anything that can help in whatever craft you are working on.

And with Summerset about to drop, we will also begin focusing on preparation for Jewelry Crafting!

And bonus: There are currently NO DUES!

Buff Shields (PVE)

So now that we’ve had an opportunity to thoroughly test the new shields that cap at 40-50% of Max Health, I want to continue the lively discussion we had during the PTS cycle. It’s my opinion that Annulment and Conjured Ward were excessively nerfed and are now underperforming. Having used them in every vet trial since the patch, I can say that they are now an ineffective form of defense. Even in dungeons, they are quite lackluster, and I believe this results in depending on the healer too much. For example, if a healer dies you cannot pop a shield and spend 5 seconds rezzing with no heals. That shield that used to be able to take a few hits is now gone in 1-2 hits. I have also noticed that less independence in random dungeons has led to an increase in toxicity and I’ve seen more attempted group kicks recently (I always decline them), since carrying a less experienced player of any role is significantly more difficult now.

Without getting too deep into the numbers in this first post, I would like to see the value of shields increased to something between where they were in Wolfhunter and where they stand in Murkmire. Even if we get up to 20k resistances (with Major and Minor Ward and resolve and some CPs, pretty much the highest reasonable value for a DD build), with 18k health, so a 40% shield is ~7k the effective shield value is ~10k, or about half what it used to be.

In my opinion this 40% should be increased to around 60% of max health (70 or 75% for Dampen and Hardened). This would put shields about halfway in between what they were previously and what they are now. Players would still benefit from investing is health and resistances, and discourage pure glass cannon, but these investments would actually pay off in a noticeable way.

This change would also have minimal impact on PVP, since the Max Magicka scaling would prevent Battle Spirit shields from increasing much (if at all) from this buff.

Heya, maybe some remember the old " Tales of the Dead " contest ? We had to create the best backstory for an unfortunate soul ( see picture below), I had a similar idea, but instead of writing "what happened", you have to write "what's going to happen".

I would really like zenimax to release Direfrost keep II and Arx Corinium II, all the decor is ready, even though I'm not supposed to know that ( Found a way to get out of both dungeons, and then I discovered all that ) took me ages to screen everything.

Since 2015 ( Tamriel ultimated) they don't care about base game dungeon anymore, it is surely better to sell DLC dungeon pack twice a year. Direfrost keep II is one of these an abandoned feature along with Arx Corinium II.

While the decor is ready, there is not a single book there unlike other dungeons, so I deduced that they had not worked on the "story" part yet. otherwise they would have put it in the crown store since a long time. This is the reason why I suggest a RP contest, along with the release of Direfrost keep II and Arx Corinium II.

Rules:

To participate, take a good look at the images below ( and all other information about direfrost keep II). Then, create your own fictional entry that tells us more about the Direfrost keep II or/and Arx Corinium II story/stories. You can write a short story, a journal entry, or any other kind of fictional text that sheds more light on what's going to happend.
You can also propose new set idea ( 1H - 1M - 1L and monster set), boss mechanics, the order in which we cross the rooms, everything you want ! Once you’re happy with your creation, share it with us !
You can even propose a name for this dungeon pack ! ( Winter Swamp ect ...)

First you need to complete Direfrost keep I and/or Arx Corinium I in normal or veteran, listen carefully to the NPCs, read all books you may find there. so that your creation does not contradict what already happened.

Then prizes could be: ( Remember it's a RP contest idea, you can participate, but there is no prizes unless zenimax think it's a good idea)

Direfrost keep II:

The Direfrost Keep is the ancestral home of the witch hunting Direfrost clan, this frozen castle has long been sealed to the outside world following an attack by the ice witch Drodda. Its owners have never been seen or heard for generations. Mountain storms rage above the castle walls, conjured up by Drodda.

Below, what I noticed while venturing in the sealed est wing of the castle:
  • the decor is ready, only 2 things are missing: a story and mobs.
  • Nord furnitures.
  • A book about dark magic: (Eidetic Memorry -> Skill Books -> Dark Magic: Three Pretexts)

  • stalactites and stalagmites everywhere, there is even an ice-infested corridor.
  • the castle is in ruins.
  • the brazier burns down a tower, in this tower there is a campfire also active (some people came there recently ?)
  • The coat of arms of the direfrost clan ?

Arx Corinium II:

The Second Empire made some advances into the periphery of Black Marsh, but they didn't stay long. While previously constructed and held by the Imperials, the fort has fallen into disrepair and is overrun with Lamias. A group of nereids now occupy the flooded fort and focus on restoring balance to the land. Rumors say the fort is home to a great source of power, although it is perverse, corrupted.

Below, what I noticed while venturing in the west wing of the dungeon.
  • the decor is ready, only 3 things are missing: story, mobs/boss, good floor textures.
  • Argonian houses ( mud house)
  • Not a single book.
  • a lot of waterfalls and vegetation
  • many doors made with roots, surrounded by caves or decorative doors, probably little " arenas " like in Mazzatun, where you need to kill waves of adds.
  • Argonian eggs under the Hist.
  • The order in which we cross the rooms is pretty obvious, (screens follow this order)

More Hats that hide hair

Honestly not sure if this would be better suited to here or the Crown Store board, but it can always be moved I suppose.

So with the recent addition of the Mourner pack of Hats to the CS, we come once again to the problem most of the Hats in this game have, that being that for some Gods-awful reason they hide your hair. Is there any reason this is a thing? Some Hats don't do it, which makes me question why most of them do. Is it honestly so hard to tweak the coding a bit to stop whatever causes Hats overriding the hair on your character?

I feel bad for the people who actually spend Crowns on these things, only to hate and never use them because they essentially render a character bald.

Seriously, get off your asses and fix this, it's been over 4 years since the release.
It's a big problem if you're dps, waiting on 40+ minute queue and don't dare change zones or enter a delve because you might get stuck (and there's a good chance at that).

Tamriel Unlimited or Summerset?

I'm looking to start playing again, but I'm switching platforms (PS4 -> PC). If I just buy Tamriel Unlimited, will I be able to play much, or do I need to buy the Summerset upgrade? I'm just looking to test the waters a bit to see if I'll enjoy the game before fully committing.

Very long loading screens when entering delves and quest areas

Since early September I'm experiencing very long loading screens (5-10 minutes) when I try to access certain delves an quest areas. Sometimes I even get booted to login screen due to inactivity. I have tried restarting the client, disabling all addons and even the repair function from the client. This seems to be particular to the area, and occurs irrespective of server load, at prime time, early morning, late at night. Also the size of the are doesn't seem to matter. Some are quite large, such as Tanzewil interior (AD main quest), other are small such as Serpent's Hollow cave in Cyrodiil or Durstone tower basement in Glenumbra (Fighters Guild quest area). Another example is Chisleshriek Mine in Craglorn. There are several more I don't remember.

Has anyone experienced similar issues? If so, have you found a workaround?

That is the question. I asked this in the campaigns forum but it's dead in there...

For all of you who have jumped at one point between the different campaigns, what are your opinions?

Do you find combat and lag better in noCP environment? Is there more prestige or challenge in a CP campaign? Where are all the big guilds? The heavy hitters, the streamers and well-known PvPers? Are you squishier in CP or noCP? Are there specialty builds that thrive better in either mode?

All of these questions I have, and more. But most importantly, which campaigns are more stable, in your opinion? I have been playing in Vivec since I can remember and the load screens and lag can get unbearable. I think I might be looking for a change, if the move is worth it...

Launcher won't close.

The game launcher for PC (Windows 10 Pro 64 bit) won't close without going into the task manager and forcing it.

It's impossible to solo. Even if you kill all the guards in a 20 second time frame on each flag, and mount and leave with 60 horse speed at the exact moment the flag tick reaches 50%, it is still too slow and cannot prevent the NPCs on the third flag from respawing.

Did this loop three times and ... sigh ...

I understand why this change was implemented i.e. to make taking Cropsford more difficult due to its unique location, but lets not forget there is a set vendor there which people need sometimes. One of the good things about towns was that one could easily solo it to get the required item sets (barring enemy players). The new change to Cropsford makes it impossible to do so, and is especially bad for people who play on DC (because most likely, we don't own Cropsford).

Edit: I completely forgot about the daily quests but I see no possible compromise. If you would like to do daily quests in Cropsford solo, try and not aggro stuff (which I think is impossible since one quest giver is right next to the flag?). So basically, now we can’t do dailies solo. GJ ZOS

Hello,
I do not know how to reach you guys from Tamriel trade Centre addon so I write here. Me and multiple of my friends have this problem with TTC that it shows price on item took from PC EU server. We play on PC NA server. When you look for the item on NA server it is nowhere to be found. One day we checked ALL merchants on whole map. Item was not there. Later we checked ttc.com site for EU version and we found the item was there. I know you have problems with server now and you will change it at 5.11. So please keep in mind to update that feature. So TTC would stop showing prices from EU on NA and the other way around. Those 2 servers are totally different markets and have different prices.

RNG Refining for Gold Improvement Mats Dead?

I have talked to countless people confirming my experience since update 40 that gold improvement mats when refining are just not yielding crap anymore. I typically get about 1% yield. All skill points are applied. I received 2 gold mats from 1300 raw mats most recently. That is horrible. I've also noticed that the chromium grains are no longer dropping in daily writs. It was a nice little run between 39 and 40, as I was getting mats from both refining and writs. Now it has gone to hell. I also don't know if there is any validity to this idea that the more sparse the population near the crafting station, the better the yield. I have found this to be opposite lately.

I have stopped refining altogether hoping something might change. Anyone else getting this?

Frequent crashes after recent patch

I have begun having frequent crashes after the recent patch. The crash always displays the ZOS error report. I never used to have this before, but now I get it from anywhere between 10 minutes to 3 hours. I tried deleting my usersettings.txt file to generate a new one, and tried disabling all addons, but it still happens.

Anyone else experiencing increased frequency of crashes after the recent patch?

Hello there, this is my pet sorc build for murkmire with HA Rotation.

This is most common build for pet sorc, but i customized it little.

All i see in most of other dps test videos are siroria or zaan, which you can't use effectively in some vet trial such as vAS+2 and vCR.
So i decided to make decent pet sorc build dps test video that you can use it on real challenges.

You can use exactly same build in any other PVE content. All you have to do is change mundus to thief or mage.

Comprehensive Werewolf Guide [Updated for Wolfhunter DLC]

I wrote the following guide at Steam Community a few months ago and many have found it useful.
This guide includes everything you need to know about being a Werewolf as well as some things i discovered that no other guides contain. Werewolf is an extremely fun sub-class which is more suited toward fighter's (while Vampire is more suited toward magic users) but really anyone can become a Werewolf. One of my ESO characters is a healing templar with just 2 attack powers and bosses with 100,000 hp are a real challenge but in Werewolf form i can easily solo defeat a boss with 300,000 hp.

Is there an add-on that is the merge of MM + TTC?

So these two add-ons do something like this, if i got it right:
  • MM: your guilds, past sold prices
  • TTC: all guilds you visit, current selling prices
My question is: is there such a mod that:
  • Gathers the past sold prices from your guilds
  • Gathers the current selling prices from you guilds
  • Gathers the current selling prices from the guilds you visit
  • Sends everything to a central server
  • Which is then browsable from the web
  • And maybe possibly in game?
This way we would have something akin to a central auction house, right?
