ESO Launcher Crashes on Update 9/04/2018

Was just logged in yesterday and running fine, when the upload initiated the launcher eats up RAM until it crashes. Ran logs and looks like it's erroring out on an application whitelist error. I temporarily disabled firewall and same issue. Deleted depot temporary files and it went to 30% before crashing again.

Here's the partial log, I even tried manually downloading file in link (you can see a partial of it in this and placing it into the depot folders, no luck.

--The launcher starts and we see it start trying to grab the files, there is plenty of disk space, partially through some type of check fails, and then the system seems to start looking for a different IP below.

--At this point the system launcher just errors out each load and tried to look for IP 151.205.0.23 which is not in some application whitelist.

I'd really want to know.
How may I equip myself, to be immortal?
Situation several minutes ago, Vivec, PC EU. Group of EP players invaded Warden and been running all aroudnd inside and outside, typical organised zerg. We were chasing them, more or less similar number of DC players. At some moment I've been succesful isolating one of them ("lvl 28" -does not matter) at stairs witch chains (played mag dk). He was surrounded by our Npc's guards, one of them put Silence on him, I've put TONS of dots (Burning Embers, Eruption, my Domihaus set fired), had Flames of Oblivion active, he got several hits from NPc's, from me (flame lash, LA, HA) and some from other DC players... and his health bar was still 100%. He was just standing, not blocking, not in Meditate... how it is possible, someone can explain?

So battlegrounds has been in the game for quite some time now. And it seems like the purpose is to simulate alliance war on a small scale. And while 4v4v4 isn't that bad, and can be pretty fun, I feel like they need to change things up. Add a 6v6 with new arenas to explore, or an 8 player free for all. ZOS has the capability, it's just a matter of execution. But perhaps I'm the only player craving a little variety.

Wouldn't it be cool to be able to use the beds in our houses? I don't know about you, but I it's kind of a nostalgic thing for me from all the Elder Scrolls games... Wouldn't even need to give a buff or do anything special, although a well-rested bonus that had some fun effect would make it more interesting.

And, wouldn't it be nice to be able to dress up the Service Assistants while they are in the house? Being able to customise them more would be really nice.

Tested both Magicka and Stamina Templars today after the DLC and after the Maintenance this afternoon. Both Jabs and Sweeps are broken. They do not work correctly. The animation is slower, clunky and stops and starts as it did a few patches back when it was broken very badly.

From the last patch before today...

Fixed an issue where both of your Dual Wield weapon enchantments were proccing from a single damage from Light Attack, Heavy Attack, or Weapon Ability.
Developer Comment:
Spoiler
Abilities that deal damage multiple times with a single cast, such as Flurry which has 5 hits or Twin Slashes which has 2 direct damage hits and several damage over time ticks, can proc both of your weapon enchantments over those hits. But each isolated instance of damage should only be able to proc one weapon enchantment at a time.

And now today's patch...

Weapon Enchantments and poisons will no longer proc from single-target Damage over Time effects of any weapon ability. The following effects can no longer proc Weapon Enchantments or poisons:
The Damage over Time from Cleave and its morphs
The Damage over Time from Twin Slashes and its morphs
All damage from Lacerate and its morphs
The residual Damage over Time from Toxic Barrage
The Damage over Time from Acid Spray
The Damage over Time from Poison Arrow and its morphs
The Damage over Time from Destructive Touch and its morphs

So, have we totally reversed whatever it was that we were told was broken forever and supposedly fixed with Murkmire? I'm a little confuzzled here...help me?

I have a lot of things I'm looking forward to, but I know my lowly pet sorc will be placed permanently on her "furious" personality moving forward

. I refuse to retire her, but I will lean more towards my new NB in BG's (my first one I built and he's fun as hell to play). I cant wait to tackle BRP with my guild buddies and do some new quests down south in the swamps (I heard the music is phenomenal too, but I will wait until Tuesday to check it).

What are you looking forward to or not.. come this Tuesday?

I did ICP, after complete :
- none could leave the group
- teleport to a guild mate didn't work
- manually teleport somewhere lead to infinite loading screen, alt-f4

after that any attempt to login failed with timeout. Already tried restart pc, internet connection is fine.

Is this a new policy to just name the version of a patch, without writing "Update XY" and the name of DLC pack?

I'm asking this because it's easier to browse and check the past notes of big updates when they have the names written.

I've seen compiled furniture list threads, but not one where everyone shares what houses themselves they'd like to see added.

What places would you like to see a house added to?

What specific buildings do you like the lay out of and would like to see reused as a house?

Personally I'd like a little house in the Gray Mire argonian village in Grahtwood, and a nice little house in Silsalen or Phaer in Auridon (once you've done the quest there).

I'd also reeeeeally like a nice little tower house based off the Fighter's Guild hall in Daggerfall with the central circular rooms with curving stairs and smaller rooms off the sides.

Here's what everyone has mentioned so far:

More homes for the poor, the humble, the minimalist, the traveler that’s hardly ever there

House Styles:
- Outlaw hide-outs, small/medium
- Lighthouse - just the house not with a whole huge harbor to go with it

It has the same cost increase as dodge, and logically it would be basically impossible to hit a ball of pure lightning moving at the speed of light.

It would also add a new layer of defense to Sorcerer. Sure our healing is awful and our shields keep getting nerfed, but we do have two methods of dodging.

To accompany this change, I would also advocate for omnidirectional Bolt Escape and no loss of Momentum (and better terrain detection) to make it function even more like a true dodge roll.

how about an option to create a spouse for your character, like you do when you create a playable character. you could purchase a spouse token from the crown store and create your spouse. the spouse could function like the banker, merchant a smuggler assistants and could be placed in your homestead or toggle on/off in PVE zones. The spouse could also have its own little stop and daily reward like the spouses one ESO V: Skyrim.

End Game Xbox Player Looking for New PC Home

Hello!

I've been around since the PC closed beta and just switched to PC from Xbox, so my new toon is still a baby. But on Xbox I was CP 780+ with an end-game tank, healer, and 40k+ dps. I've completed all vet dungeons as well as vMaw, vAS, vAA HM, vHRC HM, vSO HM, and am currently progressing through vHOF with my Xbox guild (I'm the main tank for our core). It's going to be a while before my new PC toon is back up to that level, but I could still try to help out as much as possible

At this point I'm not looking for a trading or end game guild since it's going to be a while before I can do those things again, so I'm mostly looking to get plugged into a mid-to-large sized, active, helpful, friendly, drama-free, DC-based guild which runs dungeons and trials. I'm mostly a PvE player, but I occasionally wander into Cyrodiil.

So feel free to comment or send me a message about your guild if you have any spots open!
