Vampire with too light tattoos

Recently I did notice my argonian vampire wasnt showing any tattoo which I tried to apply.
Changing tattoo, I did notice if is a black tattoo, it will vanishing according to skin will becoming white with vampire stages.
Bright white tattoos like Psijic, its a bit better to see on body.

First SS a tattoo on stage 4 and the second SS a tattoo on stage 1 (even on stage 1, its very light)

Magplar build brainstorming PvP

Hey guys! I am mediocre at best when it comes to magplar, but would really like to have a small scale/solo build for it. I know its not the best class to 1vx with, so my expectations are fair.

Race: argonian
Cp: Max
Undaunted: yes
Mages guild: yes

Gear: I am thinking of running 5-1-1
lightning with sword and board or restro(What are your thoughts?)

2 pirate skeleton
5 bright throat WITH dubious
and this last set is the one I need help with. I am not sure if i should run wizard, trans, shackle, or a damage set.

Let me know what you guys think I should add or swap out! Thanks in advance

Skyshards account bound

So, I played on EU and NA, and am coming back from a long break. I never got max level on NA, and have been working towards that since I've been back, and a thought occurred to me.

Why aren't skyshards account bound after you unlock ALL of them in a region? I mean yes, it is fun to have to explore the map again and again, but it does get tedious. Especially since there is over 400 of them. No one wants to do that over and over again. Sure, it would hurt some PvP aspects, but ultimately, it would save the player time.

It wouldn't be the first time the game lets you skip content either, if I remember correctly, You can skip the main story line if you've beaten it, once. You can skip the tutorial, if you've done it once, so why not also offer the option to do this? It would make collecting skyshards feel more rewarding. It would be easy to implement as well, at least in my mind.

Does ANYONE who plays a MagDk use Molten Whip?

I'm not sure I've ever seen a build or heard anyone talking about the Molten Whip morph at all. Like ever. It's pretty pointless tbh. 70 extra spell damage for Ardent Flame abilities isn't appealing at all compared to the alternative Flame Lash morph that heals you and does more damage. Wouldn't it be better to just make this a stamina morph so Stam DK's can have a class spammable? What do my fellow DKs think about this?

DK Tank new character questions

I've never played a tank before just an FYI. Rolled a new DK toon have a couple of questions.

From researching I should use training trait for all gear correct? And use up until what level? Does this include rings and necklace? Weapons? I'm almost a master crafter in everything so making it isn't an issue.

I wouldn't think training on weapons would be good is it? If not what would be good for a newby tank?

What level can he start joining dungeon groups? I read CP ten is that correct?

This is my first alternate toon so any alt advise would be appreciated. I tried looking up newby dk tank guides but all I got was DK tank guides not newby stuff. If anyone has a link to one that would be nice.

Snipe

If I’m not mistaken. Zos has made it crystal clear they no longer want hard hitting abilities stunning. So how come stealth/snipe stuns? And it’s never been addressed.
How come this one ability that’s 40+ meters has the same damage output as dizzy swing and also has major defile or minor fracture. Let’s not forget how people can literally just sit in the back of groups and spam away at one button.

Now before some triggered garbage snipe spamming zerglings try to counter argue. Allow me to shut your arguments down before hand.

Yes it does. Maybe if I’m alone riding alone and I hear the snipes and it’s a 1v1 situation. If I don’t get health desync which rarely happens. But when I’m figjting say 2 or 3 people. It’s unlikely I’m going to hear said snipe spammer, and I’m not just going to dodge all snipes while still fighting the other 2-3 people since they’re likely spamming cc’s and roots. So no the “it’s easy to hear” excuses doesn’t work. Unless of course it’s just a 1v1 and please. Tell me how many times you get into a 1v1 with a sniper because the second you see said sniper he’s just going to perma cloak away and pooof gone. So no. It’s not as simple as “jUsT d0DgE iT”

Don’t even get me started on health desync. I love when I’m riding alone in cyro or fighting people when my health just suddenly drops from 100% to 0% health as 5 snipes all register at once.
A few times I get lucky and only 2-3 register but I get perma stunned from them since of course stealth snipe stuns and God knows who zos hasn’t fixed that since they once again clearly stated they don’t want hard hittin abilities to stun.
Not to mention this particular bug has never been fixed.
Zos has never even touched snipe each patch unlike literally every other skill they nerf without any hesistation. I’m beginnign to think these incompetent developers just want PvP to consist of snipe spamming trash.

It’s absolutely stupid how a hard hitting ability can just be spammed from 40+ meters away, adds and the guy spamming them can just cloak away and hide only to spam away again. Literally takes no skill. If they removed this trash PvP would be a lot better. Along with the bugs that come with this stupid skill. If there’s anything I missed? Please do tell.

The new skins and body markings can't be used together.

Dear Zenimax,

When you advertise things like the Bright-Throat and Dead-Water skins along with the Bright-Throat and Dead-Water body and face markings, can you at least make sure that they can be used together? It's a real punch in the gut to realize I've just sunk £50 into your gambling crates for things that aren't even usable with each other. While I shall, from this point forwards, not be sinking any more money into your system, I would very much like for you to actually fix the things you're putting in these gambling crates so that they're actually somewhat worth the cost expended in attaining them.

[bug] Siege Weapon Shield buff timer xbox

The siege weapon shield buff time is bugged on Xbox, Tooltip duration states 20 seconds, the buff timer loops through starting at 1 second to 0 seconds and then starting a countdown again from 1 second. We get the duration as advised on tooltip but the actual buff timer icon is way off,

Motivation to do Veteran Content

I could not find a motivation to do veteran content, specifically veteran trials, specially the craglorn ones. Maybe it's time to increase the gold reward for completing such activities. How about 100K gold per veteran trial completed? Eh? Just a suggestion.

Can 1h/shield be good dps?

I wanted to make a char good with a normal sword. That alone doesn't exist. Choices are things like big 2h swords, or dual wield, or the sword with a shield.

So I picked 1h with a shield, instead of a cookie cutter dual wield DPS.

Question is, can 1H/shield be good dps, or is it relegated to tanking?

And if so, what armor types are viable as dps? (It seems mostly light for magic, medium for dps, and heavy for tanking).

Against my better judgment, I will give this one last go. I believe that, for the most part, the discussions have been fun and enjoyable. I feel that I've gotten to know some people on other factions a bit, and it is cool being killed by someone you recognize! :) Anyway, let's stick to talks of builds, funny stories (like the time I got jumped by 8 AD as I rode across the bridge and they bashed me to death as I fell out of my chair laughing), map strategy, which in game snacks you prefer, and of course... Ice trebs.

Recent "events" showed again the problems with login for Steam players.
I don't want to argue about the responsibility or causes.

Actually there is and always been the side-solution for that problem - login without Steam using original launcher. But you have to buy the game again for that.

In that case there are several conclusions I have:

1. It is obvious why non-Steam players technically can't use Steam version, but not in reverse.
2. Why people that already bought your game should buy it twice to just login without Steam?
3. You showed multiple times that you can't guarantee the stability of login procedure for Steam players.
4. All this brings a lot of unnecessary frustration, annoyance and exasperation.

In that case, please solve this awkward situation and let Steam players the ability to launch the game without Steam as all other titles did.

So I've only recently gotten to the end of the Dark Brotherhood dlc, mostly because of all my alts... Haven't been to Morrowind yet but now I'm more reluctant to do so on some of my toons. Why? Because of Naryu. I was playing on my female "assassin" today, finishing up the last remaining Sweetroll killer quest when the dialogue forced a kiss between my character and her. The dialogue had some lines before then I couldn't skip suggesting they had a flirty "thing" before then. If I want my character to be gay, then it's fine, but this particular character is not. As someone who comes up with a background for everybody (and for some of them relationships, always with one of my own characters) I felt I lost all control over my characters story.

In the past when you work with her (Pact quests) ALL "persuade" flirt lines were optional.

This kind of thing NEVER happens with a male NPC either. Not once. I suppose the writers assume all/most players are men, and those men who play female characters love the whole "girl on girl" action between the characters, idk...

The dialogue options in this game have never been perfect, but this thing with forced flirting with Naryu was too much for me. I want the option to choose who my characters would be attracted to.

Siege Shield skill takes forever to level up

Hi,

i think it is more then 1.000.000 AP since is activated Siege Shield. And after that million it is at 2.5. 1.5 to go for the morph. I really use it alot, i am a defensive supporter with mediocre dps on the backbar. A million AP is a lot of defence.

Do i really have to do some PvE daily quests to level it faster ?

Non-premade but did have one buddy so partially.

I’m happy as I’d be trying for the longest time and I would play DM and drop 22-0 with 6-7 kills taking away from me after doing 80% of damage.

Not a mag sorc, I am a werewolf and am on Xbox.

Just celebrating... 1 v x is still possible...

What's Wrong With Decoupling Character Passives From Race?

I was looking at another of one of those...polls, this one about some talk of upcoming "rebalancing" of racial passives.

Can we just STOP tying character passives to RACE?

Roll a character. During the process choose the passives you want, limited of course. Assume every character, regardless of race, has their own individual abilities based on the player who created them, and let that be an end to it.

Shalidor was a Nord. We see Redguard and Orc mages among the NPCs. Plus this is the 21st Century after all, for what that's worth ;)

Hey Magblades! How's Murkmire for you?

I run two Magblades - a healer and a ranged damage build. Most of what I will discuss is related to Battlegrounds as that is what I participate in, but feel free to share your experiences in all PvP related content. I'm seeing a lack of Magblades in Battlegrounds and it feels a bit disheartening but I still believe in making the class work.

Healer - Maybe it's people finally taking NB healers serious enough to put focus on you or maybe there's just more damage in Murkmire, but those Healthy Offering stacks are rough keeping up with. I've considered using Naga Shaman over Shacklebreaker and going with Shrewd Offering for the reduced health penalty. This will give me Minor Mending, Major Mending, Minor Vitality, and Major Vitality (with Blackrose Resto Staff*).

Still running in heavy armor but seriously considering light armor. For monster sets I like Earthgore, Chokethorn, Bloodspawn, and Troll King.

Ranged Damage - I give credit to anyone who can run with Swallow Soul. I understand the healing potential of it but it just feels weak in PvP - and MagDKs especially make the skill even more of a joke. So I run Force Pulse and I love it! And to compliment this skill, I run Torug's with an Infused Inferno Staff. I tested all of the enchants for my damage bar but in the end they all felt inferior to Flame.

Running light armor with Blackrose Resto Staff (Berserker enchant) on backbar. For monster sets I like Troll King, Engine Guardian, or Bloodspawn. I would consider Elemental Weapon but from what I've seen it doesn't proc Caluurions (my other set). Caluurions is a good choice even for Ranged Magblade and I can make it extremely effective as you can see in this short clip:

*If you haven't got a Blackrose Resto Staff yet, I encourage you to get it - it's very good and helps make up for the Healing Ward nerf. You don't even need the Perfected one unless you feel you must have it. The duration is short and it can get expensive if you spam it, but there is no cooldown on the buff.

So just a few questions:
Are you still playing Magblade?
What are your opinions on the class?
What do you have trouble with?
Do you think melee Magblade is viable after Murkmire?

Wrecking blow still sucks with the new changes to empower removing the 20% extra damage to all sources to now only affecting light attacks. Quite sure no one in PvE content is using wrecking blow + Light attack and in PvP... yeah doesn't go over so well.
It would be awesome to get a new buff where it will do the same as the old wrecking blow and please no instant cast.

p.s Still waiting on some awesome class buffs for my Stam DK e.g. Flames of Oblivion AoE, more stamina skills, and better passives.

With all the ranting going on in the "random fg1" threads, I'm astounded by other players bad luck with PUGs.

Somehow, I managed to complete normal dungeons on almost all of my 15 toons each day without any hate tells, group arguements, or hissy fits. I even managed to avoid that with snipe spammers, dlc dungeons, and dark flare spamming dps. Even more shocking, I managed that with average dps and completing each dungeon in under 15-20 minutes.

So if you just can't handle carrying anyone else through a dungeon, other players having a lower dps than you, a tank that's struggling, or your dungeon taking an extra 5 minutes. Please do everyone else a favor and take a break. No reward in the game is worth getting that worked up about. I'd recommend logging out and doing something new. Upon returning, please enjoy those normal dungeons once again without rushing, complaining, a sense of entitlement, or the need to critique all players just not up to your par. Nobody cares about your skills and that's okay.
