More Alliance Ranks & greater rewards for Alliance War Veterans!

Hey everyone :)
I believe that 50 alliance ranks are not enough and I had an idea back in 2017 on how to add 10 more alliance ranks with meaningful rewards.
The current high ranks should also have better rewards, but below I address the new ranks.
The new ranks:
Duke: AR 51/52 (Required 70M AP for rank 1, 78M AP rank 2). Furniture: Noble banner of Authority.
Prince: AR 53/54 (Required 86M AP rank 1, 95M AP rank 2). Furniture: Resource tower+flag.
Grand Prince/Duke: AR 55/56 (Required 105M AP rank 1, 115M AP rank 2). Furniture: Grand Golden Crown, size: 10 meters.
Archduke: AR 57/58 (Required 130M AP rank 1, 145M AP rank 2). Furniture: An ancient colosseum 30 meters on 30 meters.
Legendary Hero: AR 59/60 (Required 165M AP rank 1, 185M AP rank 2). Furniture: Inner Keep+Throne of Legend.
Special mount+Color. 3 skill points.
AR symbol of Legendary Hero will be the alliance symbol with 1 crown each side, left and right.
A skin and/or a costume.
* If the following buff won't be implemented, the max rank will be obtained at 110M-120M AP.
* Optional - Instead of the below power buff, the Legendary Hero can have a boost to Rewards of the Worthy mail, rewards from turning in cyrodiil AVA quests and end of campaign rewards.

***OPTIONAL Buff(May or may not be implemented, if the developers believe it is OP and/or unfair.):
Legendary Hero will have an alliance war skill line, similar to Emperor but less powerful:
Minor Domination: Increases your Health, Magicka, and Stamina Recovery in combat by 50% while in your campaign.
Minor Authority: Increases your Ultimate generation by 50% while in your campaign.
Tactician: Increases your damage done with Siege Weapons to keeps and other Siege Weapons by 50% while in your campaign.
Hero: Increases your healing received by 25% while in your campaign.
Noble: Increases your Max Health, Magicka, and Stamina by 30% while in your campaign.

*If the Legendary Hero becomes emperor, his normal stats won't count, only emperor stats.

*The buff can be even minor compared to above numbers(like 2-10%), but it needs to make a difference, especially when a grind for a 165M AP rank may take a lot... of time and much effort.
*As for balance, in order to achieve Legendary Hero rank 1, you will need to farm 165 million alliance points, so there will be very few players with this rank.

In addition to my post I wanted to add an idea for better rewards for existing top rank Grand Overlord:
Optional: *Your chance to obtain an Arena Gladiator's Proof from a second quest within 20 hours is doubled.
*Grand Hat of Authority - The hat will have the alliance symbol in all sides with a description: "Awarded to Esteemed Generals of Aldmeri Dominion/ Ebonheart Pact/Daggerfall Covenant".
*In addition to normal end of campaign rewards, if you participated in the alliance war(earned any alliance points) you shall receive 1 random gold jewelry in the end of the campaign.

I have made MANY friends in this game, and whenever I see their face they are always very good looking. Which is weird, because ESO is an MMO. Both guys and girls that I know on this game are very attractive looking people.

The Scavenging Maw

The Scavenging Maw has a vomit attack that is a conal AOE, which will follow the player wherever they go. This attack will also place down a medium sized AOE on the ground that will do significant damage over time so the tank must get out of the AOE, without causing the vomit attack to turn into the DPS or healer.

The Scavenging Maw will also use a teleport strike, that the other hungers can be seen doing. This strike will hit all members with AOE damage, so do not stand together when you see that AOE on your group. Block or dodge roll the attack to reduce damage.

Hide Phase:
When the Maw goes into hiding, several adds will spawn along with other smaller AOE's. Neither are a significant threat, so search the room in a group, or pairs, for the main boss while cleaving and snaring the adds.
Once the boss is found, it'll begin sucking the blood on the player that found it and must be immediately interrupted before the player is killed. The player will not survive more than a couple seconds, even with heals on that player.

The Weeping Woman

The Weeping Woman fight is one of the most simple ones since vanilla dungeons as her primary arena mechanic is AOE's. Stay out of the AOE's and this fight is not a threat at all.

The AOE's begin as a simple circle, then a large donut AOE, thin to thick Arena edge AOE's. Get out of the AOE's as quickly as possible.

The Stone Watchers need to be taunted in by the tank so they don't kill the DPS or Healer. And can be easily cleaved down. Recommended to not let more than one be up at a time.

The boss had a strong charge up attack that shoots whichever player she is targeting with an ice shard. This will kill any DPS or healer. Tank needs to block it.

Dark Orb

The Dark Orb will spawn four other orbs during the fight that will empower some of the adds. The Auroran adds are the greatest threat and should be burned down before continuing to damage the Dark Orb.

Four additional orbs will spawn throughout the fight, and these orbs empower (confirmation needed on orb affects) the Auroran Adds.
Radiant Orb - Empowers the Radiant Oppression (AKA Jesus Beam) ability from the Radiant Aurorans. This is a single target ability, and will only be a threat to the tank if not healed through.
Blazing Orb - Empowers the Meteor ability and the Fire Rain ability from the Blazing Aurorans. Meteor's will stun players hit directly by them, and the added AOE's on the ground can become a threat if they stack and burst a player.
Phosphorescent Orb - Empowers the Ice Pillar ability. If a player stands in an ice pillar AOE, they will become immobilized making them vulnerable to other affects.
Scintillating Orb - Empowers the Call Lightning and Sparks abilities. The Call Lightning ability will do significant damage to any player by them, and the sparks can quickly chip away at players' health.

Note: All Aurorans need to be killed to end the fight. If the orb is destroyed and the group wipes to the Aurorans, then the boss fight will reset.

King Narilmor

King Narilmor is a master of illusion, and will create many copies of himself. Each clone will have one of the four affects seen from the Auroran adds during the Dark Orb fight.

The damage dealers of the group MUST coordinate on which clone to focus down. Do not split your DPS among the clones, and only cleave down those around the one that is being focused down. If you get one clone lower on health than the others, then when the focused clone teleports away, all the clones will have their healths drop to that new percentage.

The tank should LoS the clones to the best of their ability onto the clone that the DPS are focusing, so that they can be hit by cleave damage and teleport away. This will keep King Narilmor's clones to a minimum.

The Healer is the only one to actually deal with the mechanic of this fight. Tharayya is your friendly NPC, and she will every now and then have a battle with her ex-husband, the ghost you see in the arena. Tharayya must be healed with ground based HoT's so that she'll survive her battle. If Tharayya loses, her exhusband (the ghost) will grant all the clones of King Narilmor a refreshed shield. This shield is quite large and difficult for the DPS to burn down before the clone being focused teleports away. When Tharayya wins, the shields will not be increased, allowing the DPS to quickly get to work on King Narilmor's health.

Spin Attack, Heavy Attack are two things for the players to watch out for that come from the boss itself. The tank needs to always block the heavy attack, and can stand within the spin attack but the DPS and healer cannot survive either.

Auroran Ghost Wall - One of the four walls will spawn a wall of Auroran Ghosts that will begin to walk across the arena. If this wall touches a player, it'll instantly kill that player. The DPS must kill one of the Aurorans to put a breach in the wall for the group to go through. DPS need to focus the same Auroran to get through as quickly as possible.

Seen once, unknown if bug, but two ghost walls spawned in a single phase which required killing an Auroran of one wall first, then killing an Aururan of the other wall quickly.

Elemental Auroran - The Boss will teleport back to the center of the room and become invulnerable. In the four corners of the Arena will spawn Aurorans, each one with their own ability that they will grant the Boss if they reach it. Prioritize which one to kill as 50k+ DPS on my team can barely get two of them down in time.

Radiant Auroran - Grants boss the Radiant Oppression ability.

Blazing Auroran - Grants boss Will-o-Wisp and Meteor Ability

Phosphorescent Auroran - Grants Boss Ice Pillar Ability (Immobilize Debuff)

Scintillating Auroran - Grants Boss Spark and Call Lightning Abilities

Recommendation: Kill Blazing and Scintillating Aurorans. Minimize the arena AOE and heal the tank through the Radiant Oppression ability.

Debuff - Significant Healing Debuff, estimated to be a 90-95% healing received reduction. This debuff lasts only for about three seconds. The visual animation of the boss when this affect is going out is sticking all four swords into the ground. Healers are recommended to have as many HoTs out as possible for consistent health regain. Burst heals are too costly when this debuff is on the group, wait until the affect expires.

Theory: Health Regen not affected? Try Troll King for fight?

Execute Phase: The Boss is empowered with all the Elemental Auroran Abilities, and several ghost walls will be walking through the arena at different angles. Easily kite around the ghost walls while DPSing the boss and burn down the boss as quickly as possible. Tank needs to keep the Boss away from the ghost walls, or else risking empowering the boss if it touches a ghost wall.

Hard Mode: Additional Mechanics include the Orb's from boss three spawning in an empowering the mechanics.

Auroran Ghost Walls seem to shoot out projectiles at nearby players. Damage seemed minimal. Auroran Walls will spawn every Elemental Aurorans spawn in as well.

Execute phase the boss will recover health to 50% instead of 25%. Orbs continue to spawn, and the boss has all Elemental Auroran mechanics up for the whole execute phase. The longer burn means Auroran Ghost Walls are riskier and require a lot more awareness.

au player consistently getting loadscreen on drop in execute phase . last run it was followed by a crown store update. any chance we cam have a little more breathing space before the first run of damage in that phase. as the lag is getting worse n worse each patch im feeling that soon it wont be worth playing as dungeons like this almost exclude me from playing

Collectible Achievement Guide (Spoiler Alert)

This is a comprehensive list of trophies for your collectible achievements, including the enemy it drops from, zone and dungeon or landmark they are located in or around.

NOTE: Updated with changes from One Tamriel. It is now possible to farm all locations listed in any faction since all enemies give experience.

Important Notes about trophies/collectibles:
  • Trophies can drop from the specified enemy type at any location/zone. It is not location specific. For the most part, locations listed below are suggested locations to farm the correct enemy.
  • The drop rate of collectibles is completely random. Some trophies may take you several hundred or thousands of enemies to kill before it drops.
  • Trophies are bound to your character. Once you loot the trophy it lights up the item in your achievement. You can not bank trophies and trade them to alts.

If you find any good farming spots not listed, comment in the thread and Ill try and update it.

Pc build question (eso optimization)

So i am building a new pc this spring/summer and i was wondering should i fork out more for the gpu or cpu.
I've heard eso is cpu intensive more than gpu .
i was thinking something like zen2600+ 1660 non-ti/ti. Or should i sadle up and get i5 9600k and cheap out on the gpu with smt like a rx580.
What i am asking is basicly does this game prerform better with better gpu(like most games) or is super cpu intensive.

Skills Not Firing?

Since the update I created a new character Khajit StamDK to try out. I'm finding as I'm playing the skill either doesn't fire or delayed. My FPS is around 80 -100 ping just over 100 do dont think its latency. Anybody else having this issue?

Breaking free, block and dodge after patch

I haven't done much bgs since wrathstone came out so sorry if it was already mentioned. I haven't found such thread.

Is anybody else having hard time breaking free after the latest patches? I could be having full stamina and would still sit the whole duration on multiple occasions.

And its not just breaking free, it seems like block and dodge are not working correctly. A few times last night in BGs i noticed i got stunned through my block and dodge.

Also did they raise the damage? I am pretty tanky but some sorcs take me down from 100 to 0 in 2 seconds. I am not sure how to fight them back as i die before i even reach them. And even if i do reach them i am already in execute range. And since block and dodge are unreliable and resistance doesn't seem to help i am kinda lost to what should i do. They also tend to run in organized groups of similar builds with a dk that won't let me move while both zaaning me to death. Any tips?

Please nerf cloak so that everyone has fewer feel bad moments

Nightblades right now are totally op when they run into people without any cloak counters (roughly 25% of Cyrodiil) and marginal to terrible against anyone even near someone with cloak counters (75% of Cyrodiil). Sure in those 75% cases you can gank a lowbie and run and play the very fun and engaging game of shade not working, undo not working, one of the 10 players' light attack spams breaking cloak because of lag, and so on. This is ignoring the people who dodge attacks from stealth and such not which I guess could be explained by lag weirdness or some sort of bug with stealth.

Some of the people reading this hate ganks, and I hate watching the one lowbie running less than 30k health in the last hour get immediately rezzed while I feel guilty for killing them. If someone is half competent they can't be ganked (baring lag weirdness). I've survived ganks more often than not on a light armor char in full divines with 11k resists. That should be a death sentence and it really isn't.

Nerfing cloak won't stop ganks because ganks are largely already dead. If a you can survive a gank on the least resistance based spec with no buffs up then ganks probably need to be buffed. But people hate being ganked and honestly even though I don't get it as death is free and someone is already rezzing you while the ganker draws 10 people spamming AOEs. Then they're dead or far gone. Just like the only person running less than the usual zergling health in the past hour who didn't dodge the gank from stealth from behind. Then didn't break free and heal at all. (Surprising numbers manage to dodge poison injections and flame reaches out of stealth from far behind. Maybe it is lag breaking or bugging stealth?)

Cloak counters are easy AP even on nightblades, I've killed much better players than me by slotting a stealth detect pot. They're even more effective on my stamsorc and my magsorc as I have AOE damage/armor buffs to supplement. Gank builds don't even let you kill people much worse than you, and cloak counters let you kill people much better. There's a reason so many longtime nightblade mains have gone to stamdens, and it isn't for the free beer. I mean free bear.

Nerf cloak so Nightblades can have some reliable survivability and some group support. Nerf Cloak so that we don't have to pretend our main survival tool isn't going to glitch in lag. Magblade has already been gutted so ZOS just has to gut the other as well. Then buff the utility and survivabilty which might even help PVE NB tanks and healers. Until then I'll be going for only the scummiest proc set ganks when playing NB because that's the only thing the class is good at. It gets the most rage, and it'll do the most to convince people that "Cloak is OP". Even if I have to wait 45 minutes for someone wearing full divines light armor to ride past and not break free immediately.

So I’m sure there have been other guilds out there that have bid on a trader just find out they lost to burner guild and now don’t have a spot for the week, nothing is more frustrating then that when it comes to the bidding system. I’m not talking about getting outbid by another actual guild, I’m talking about getting outbid by a “guild” that has been created by a bigger guild for the sole purpose to reserve a second spot in case they lose their bid. For those who don’t know how it works, big guilds (especially ones with multiple sister guilds) will bid on one or multiple spots in smaller cities with a “guild” that they have made with the minimum 50 members so in the event their main guild loses its bid they can disband this burner guild and then secure that spot for the week with their main guild. What ends up happening is other smaller trading guilds will lose their spot to these types of traders and sometimes they don’t even get used leaving an empty trader all week. This really hurts smaller guilds because these bigger guilds have hundreds of millions of gold and can outbid a smaller guild without thinking twice. Now I used exploit in quotes because as far as I know there is no rule against this but a lot of people really feel this is an exploit. Now here is my suggestion to fix this issue. Most people know that if you can find an unsecured you can hire it for 10k, what I suggest is in the event that a guild is disbanded that has a trader for the week the trader goes to the next highest bidder from the previous set of bids for 10k. If the runner up managed to find an unclaimed trader for the week then it would go to the next guild that bid and so on. The only way it would be open is if there were no other bids that week. This would prevent big guilds pushing out small guilds with their burners because they would no longer be able to disband and then secure with their main guild. Any other thoughts on this?

i mean, i know but rlly^^
the thing i can do as a tank, is holding the boss at a spot for the ground attacks, and ccing some adds
but rlly almost every boss doesnt care at all and just rages out with his special attacks at random group members, 1 hitting them with jumps, magic attacks, etc.
just to return to me and hit me with useless basic attacks
whats the point of this?
i am supposed to eat the damage, not the DDs xD
the most important part of being a tank, i feel, is ressing teammembers^^

Last boss vMA mega frustration

Today I thought I'd seriously play vMA and make a proper attempt. I've always put it off because I hate to get frustrated in game. And I've heard the horror stories.

I went easy mode with the 1 bar sorc alcast bar for noobs. Wow it made a great difference, I sailed through all the stages. I am now on the last stage, but I've hit a brick wall at the last boss. I learned how to do the upper section very quickly now, after many deaths. But when I got knocked down to engage in the final part of the battle I was obliterated very quickly.

My hands went like jelly, i raged over and over. I felt like crying (seriously). One attempt he was 1% health.

Well after cooling down, and reading more about the mechanics. In my excitement and frustration I over looked a huge part of the mechanic. I was forgetting about the gold ghosts you need to pick up......Is it true if you allow the boss to collect 3 of the ghosts he will do a unavoidable AOE attack with massive damage? If what I am reading is true that IS MY PROBLEM.

If that is true I was failing at the last hurdle and being punished hard for it. My day is over now, feeling slightly deflated, my ego took a bashing.I have decided to not play now for the rest of the evening. I'm here now licking my wounds, gathering information so i can do better tomorrow and hopefully complete it for the first time.

This is part venting thread, part seeking help thread. So if anyone can offer any other advice you may think I need to know, then please do.

From what I have gathered from a guild friends and online sources, the last part. Grab shield sigil, dodge the skulls he fires out OR bash him to interrupt, COLLECT THE GOLD GHOSTS? then use the big stun that comes with it and burn the boss down.


To make matters worse all day I've had guildies just completing vMA and saying how easy it is lol I feel like a huge stupid dumb noob.

Saying all that I am quite happy in some respects because I went from not knowing anything to knowing enough to get to the last boss. It's just that last bit. Anyway /endventing

Sorcerer bar is probably the most cluttered of bars when placing pets or toggles on your bar, sorcerer is also the class with the most toggles and in having all those toggles and pets, I personally think that removing the extra overload bar was a mistake. No one asked for it to be removed. Just replace the power overload morph, no one uses that one.

Its unbearable !
After all this time its simply driving me mad !

I’d really like to get the High elf hero costume (the one they sold for 2000 crowns and 100 gems in the Dwarven Crates.) I think it’d be really nice to see them return for the 5 Year anniversary event coming up in April. Hopefully we see the three hero costumes return just like all these assassin perks did for this event!
