AGAIN Error 200 AFTER Maintenance and AFTER Repairing Client and Restarting Both Computer and Client

@ZOS_GinaBruno It happened AGAIN. I was in the middle of a dungeon when I crashed, not even 15 minutes online. When I tried to log back on, I got Error 200 AGAIN. This is after I repaired my client, restarted my router, AND restarted my computer. I pay $15 a month, have spent $100s on the Crown store, and yet I cannot play the game I PAY A MONTHLY PREMIUIM SUBSCRIPTION FOR. By this point, I'm expecting some recompense for not being able to play a game I've spent so much bloody money on.

About events, promotions, etc...

The minimum that a SERIOUS company does is to reimburse its customers for any problems that are not caused by those. Just see how Pearl Abyssis and kakao games work, or QQ, all of which make it a point to reward ALL customers for infinitely smaller problems that we find in ESO, I mean BDO and Moonlight Blade. If the server crashes for a simple time, for example, BDO gives you a myriad of things, including game money.

But, they are serious companies, they care about their customers. And yes, you have every right to be angry and stop thinking that 'Sheep behavior' is the best in all situations in life.

Tried to log on now that the banner is removed and the maintenance is supposedly complete. However, i am still unable to log in to ESO.

So with housing just a few days away for console I'm considering buying the goranir estate fully furnished with crowns.

Any reviews or opinions about it from the people who have already purchased it?

How's the item limit?

Were you able to decorate both the inside of the pods and the yard without running out of space?

Is bouldertree a better deal?

What are some of your favorite or most disliked things about the estate?

I would looovvee some feedback before I empty my wallet in a few days :)

The last word we had on the login issues was over 2 hours ago, and it was just "too many people are trying to log in at once after the server has been brought back online, so some are having issues."

As many people still can't log in, obviously that wasn't the issue, but we haven't heard a word since and the maintenance banner still says "The issue is resolved, and the North American PC/Mac megaserver is now available. Thank you for your patience!"

Can we get a ZOS update on whether you even still have people investigating the ongoing issues? Because they are ongoing, they're not resolved. Some people have been able to log in. Others still can't. Some of us have tried literally dozens of times, have tried doing a DNS flush, have tried switching to the EU server and back again, have tried using the 32bit client instead of the 64bit... There is obviously still an issue, but no word from ZOS.

Anything @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_AntonioP? Are you even aware that there are still ongoing issues?

:star: What would you honestly rate the game? :star:

Me personally I would give the game a strong 7/10 stars. Only because lagg, things never getting fixed, loading screens, crashes etc. All we get is a bandaid to "fix" problems, but never permanent fixes. If it wasn't for those problems, the game could easily be a 9! Other than that, I'm hooked and loving this game and will most likely stay with the game for the next 2-3 years! <3

Third time today that we've been kicked from the servers, Zenimax. Seriously???? Why the hell am I subscribing? Most of my play time is on the weekend and this is what I have to look forward to???

Have been getting the same 'timed out' message while trying to log in. Can log into the EU servers just fine. Problem persisted after closing and restarting, rebooting and restarting - nothing was helping. Tried verifying game files, was told had to download 506 - essentially was forced to re-download the entire game, and install.

And after all that? SAME ISSUE!!
oh. And can still log into and play in EU, just fine.
NA - time out.

Housing Has Killed Fishing

I will start this by saying I have 3 master angler characters and have 20 fish to go on my 4th. My friend and i both have these stats as we love to fish in eso. We also play on Xbox so we're slightly behind the guy with 12 on pc!

With that said, housing has ruined fishing.

Here's why.

When fishing before housing; the odds were already awful. This is why Master Angler is always argued to be the hardest achievement. Sure, it's not beating maw on hardmode, but it shows true dedication. It takes FOREVER to catch all the fish required and takes a bit of knowledge to know what works best to accomplish this. Dedication is an understatement.

When fishing before, each water type contains two specific fish and a specialty bait, as well as three special fish. Two green and one blue. This isn't always the case but typically it is.

Each country has 4 water types. Let's take river fish for example. You can catch River Betty and Salmon. You can also catch fish roe, which is specialty bait for foul water. On top of that, there will be 2 green and 1 blue. The green fish have a low drop rate. You can go 1-500 fish to get one of these. They don't take 500 usually, but sometimes can. Anyone who has fished for the dab in stormhaven can agree with this.

Blue fish had an even lower drop rate. You can go 1000+ casts and STILL not get your fish. It's less than 1% of a chance, surely. Blue fish drop rate are worse than crown crates, take forever to get and are a true reward for those with patience to get them.

Before housing you had a possibility of pulling out any 6 of these items (2 fish, special bait, 2 greens and one 1 blue)

To simplify, catching 12 rare fish in 18 countries (and 1 in 3 islands) takes forever as all know. It's a total of 219 fish to catch (I may be off by a few)

Now with housing, let's cut those numbers down to 33% of what I mentioned above. You now have a chance at any of the 6 fish types before, and throw in an additional 15+ housing items possible to pull on any cast.

This makes the blue fish nearly impossible to catch. Before you had less than 1% to pull it out. And now it's a 1-21 chance, plus the diminished odds of a blue fish.

To simplify again, if it was 1/6 chance (it was worse) for a blue, it's now a 1/21 chance.

So before your good rng pull would reward you a blue fish. Now, it may reward you with a blue housing item, purple housing item, or even a gold housing item. If its 1-100 casts for these items, it now takes 10x(?) longer to pull the blue fish.

I probably am not saying this correctly as far as the numbers go. I'm not a numbers guy. But I do have the fishing experience to tell you it's turned excruciating to grind for a blue fish. I can pull 2-3 purple fish (god i despise this) which comes every 300-400 casts, and before that would be the blue fish needed for the achievement.

Tl;dr - the addition of housing items to fishing has diminished the odds of catching the blue fish tremendously.

As an experienced fisherman, I can tell you the grind has now tripled, quadrupled, if not worse. I have never in my experience went so long between blue fish. It's due to the addition of 15+ possible fishing/housing items added to the loot tables.

Hopefully others can add to this with any other data or experiences. It really ruins a great part of the game. People with the titles better cherish them. It just got brutal.

Please let the fishing items be purchased and removed from fishing itself. The grind was bad enough before!

Current state of Stamina DK

So I wanted to open discussion on the state of the Stamina variant of the DragonKnight clas give my opinions and concerns give suggestions on improvements and gain view points from others.

*** Warning long post TL:DR at the bottom***



Atm the Stamina DK is in a questionable spot based on the classes own kit and not other influences, they do great in some aspects of the game and do poorly in others, I would like to add suggestions on how to improve its problems in poor performance.

The Problems:
- low build diversity
- Black and white choices and weapon skill line dependency

low build diversity ( The class seems lack any sort of unqiue stand out skills that defines the class like other stam classes out there, we got 3 stamina morphs Noxius breath, Venomous class, and Corrosive armor. Cool skills, but have some draw backs to them. Two of them are Dots, highly effective in endgame pve but terrible in Pvp and to add salt to the wounds one of the dots is useless (Noxious Breath) in endgame pve since it applies debuff that the tank should be using. Corrosive armor although great in theory is a little impractical in Pve situations 100% armor pen is great but most high end raid guilds will have almost if not already achieved this through group debuffs.

sDK has no choice but to be a weapon class since that's where it gets most of it main source of damage from.

Take flight and venomous claw are left-
Venomous Claw is a great dot that is used well in endgame parses but is underwelming in PVP, Similarly Take flight is a great burst skill but is weaker than DB. These two morphs are the best morphs Stam DK has to at least have an identity.)

Black and white choices ( This is generally a stamina problem( vMSA Dw/Bow dps meta) but more so effects the Stamina DK more than any other class speaking from a PVP perspective here. Lacking in both Aoe and single target dmg in their own kit the Stamina Dk is more dependant of weapon skill lines than the others, Although steel tornado is the best AoE stamina NBs aren't pigeonholed into using DW for AoE as they have one in their kit, same with templars, Stam sorcs are a little effey but the have one stam morph that offers
- Speed buff
- AoE damage
- Armor buffs
- Implosion passively
- WD passively

Being a stamina DragonKnight but not being able to use 90% of class abilities effectively lowers your options on how to approach situations and how to make a unique build and it doesn't help when you're tied to weapon skill lines that don't fully provide the missing class skills depending on the content. Templars, NBs and stam sorcs to an extent can mix and match class skills and weapon skills effectively.

Infact because stamina dk lacks a class spammable and weapon skill lines don't offer great ones in their kits many have turned to Proc sets to deal decent damage in PVP and PVE to remain competitive.

Solutions:
- More class based AoEs
- Improved Single target spammables in weapon skill lines


Class AoEs ( More Stamina based AoEs would go a long way to rehabilitate them from their weapon skill line dependency, I suggest two
- Choking Talons ( Dark Talons morph )
- Deep breath ( inhale morph )

Choking talons already deals physical damage It would be great if it cost stamina instead of magicka would help Stamina DK tanks and just Stamina Dks in general support allies by locking down targets.

Deep breath is the interrupt of inhale, I see this as a great opportunity to convert it into a Stamina morph for decent AoE damage without having to go dual wield, Make it cost stamina and deal poison dmg and maybe rename it to 'serpent spores' this is the morph I would most likely appreciate the most.

More single target damage options ( We have to be careful here as Stamina DK can deal very high Dps in endgame dungeons the goal is to not widen the gap for stam build dps, but to offer better options than proc sets etc. A stamina whip would be great but not nessiary imo.

2H - change the Wrecking blow morph to be usable in PVE for decent dps( lower cast time and damage). Remove the bleed from cleave and its morphs and up the base damage. Reduce the cost of Berserker strike and morphs to 125 from 150.

SnB - Great start with Power slam as a potential dps spammable but the cost it too high bring it down by about 18% and it will be in a better spot.

Bow - Change Focused Aim to be useable in pve dps skill ( lower cast time, travel time and damage),
Reduce the cost of toxic barrage to 150 from 175 ultimate.

With some class based AoEs and some weapon skill line improvements the Stam DK can hopefully have class based options to do AoEs and not depend on weapon skills so much like other stam classes do, at the same time small weapon skill line changes will help sDKs be a little more flexable. If you have opinions or suggestions let me know I would like to hear.

TL:DR
Small little changes would help the Stamina DK get some flexibility and give them options that are missing from their kit making them so much more dependant on weapon skill lines than other stam classes. Hopefully these changes will help break a way the need to use external damage sets.



Goat's Head Oasis bots ... 30 or 40 of them, seriously

Alik'r Desert. They've made the lag at the dolmen near the Goat's Head Oasis shrine there so bad that it's unplayable now.

What happens is that when the horn sounds from the nearby dolmen, 30-to-40 bots on horses suddenly ride out of the wayshrine, fight at the dolmen, then just as suddenly get on their horses again and gallop back to the wayshrine and disappear within seconds. It happens EVERY SINGLE TIME that dolmen fires up. Every. Time.

I watched it a few times, and there are quite literally between 30 and 40 bots there.

The lag is horrific because of those losers. I know that people who approve of botting will excuse it with "well, who is it hurting?" The dolmen is freaking unplayable because of the lag, and there are so many bots there that you have to be quick to even get a kill in. It's hurting every player who goes there to try to do their daily dolmen quest. It's lousy, and I hope the loser(s) who did it gets banned from the game.

MANY OF US CAN STILL NOT GET A CONNECTION WITH THE SERVER AFTER 2 MAINTENANCES AND 10+ HOURS

Please, please acknowledge this problem and look into it, I haven't been able to even get announcements on the log-in screen since the first server outage 10 hours ago, and many other people are also unable to get a connection to the server.

PLEASE look into this.

Got back in to Cyrodil, Players are not rendering-my side are all black, the enemy is invisible, mount is hitting invisible walls and running very fast in one spot, game is stuttering and FPS flicking between 2 and 50 with no players around. (It was fine before the last server restart, low FPS in crowds with lots of ultimate lag, but otherwise fine.)

I Checked performance through task manager:CPU usage 100%, 7 gig ram being used, 2 instances of eso showing in services.

I changed nothing between the crash at approx 9pm US EST and when i could log back in.

My friend had these issues all week and spent days troubleshooting to no avail: he runs windows 10, is in Colorado and I run windows 7 in Victoria Australia.

We both start the game using eso.ex so it's not the launcher. He's stopped playing and has a sub. :(

Zos i think you have a memory leak and/or corrupted files on your server...just guessing.

So in PvE, spell penetration is BiS.
Precise is considered junk
Nirnhoned is considered junk

So in PvP, Impen is BiS, aka crit defense

???If crit defense is OP in PvP, why is Precise (crit attack) still considered junk and Sharpened considered BiS in PvP scenarios???

Note to Developers.
People complain nothing to do, do not just balance skills. Balance traits too. Aka make reinforce better, make nirnhoned better, make precise better.
Do not make Sharpened BiS for everything, in 90% of scenarios aka build setups.

Inventory management is ruining the game.

I wanted to take three professions: alchemy, provisioning, and clothing. I don't think that is too many to be reasonable, and I am willing to invest the time and skill points to level them. However, with the inventory the way it is, I can't do all three. At this point I think I'm going to have to drop clothing as there are too many ingredients in crafting and alchemy for me to also make room for clothing mats. I like to explore and have a lot of fun looking for plants as I wander around the zone...unfortunately, that fun is greatly diminished when it means I have to return to a town after every quest in order to store my materials, sell, and craft just to try and make room in my bank. I spend a significant amount of time going through my bank inventory trying to figure out what I can get away with selling...this is made worse by the fact that I can't see my provisioning recipes (by far the most mat heavy profession) unless I'm crafting, so figuring out what ingredients I can and can't use is just a bunch of guess work. I love this game, and I want to be immersed in the world, but the terrible inventory management is sucking me out of it constantly.

Snow elves and the dwarfs? I recently took a break from ESO and started Skyrim, came across Knight-Paladin Gelebor and was interesting; a healthy snow elf. Not educated on the entirety of the lore here but this is an mmo, and if this is before Skyrims time they can manage. Any thoughts/ideas? Zos?

We are looking for players who are looking for more than just another trade guild. A place to call home where you can do trade as well as feel comfortable & a part of the guild. We aim to do all content the game has to offer & offer regular guild events as well as weekly raffles & auctions.

We primarily are Ebonheart Pact focused. We fight for EP in Cyrodiil but the main reason we are EP focused is to ensure there are no complications when trying to group up with friends you make within the guild in cyrodiil. While all factions are welcome in Rusty Old Dragons, we encourage all members to have at least one EP character to ensure that you can participate in any guild events.

We accept all levels of players. We firmly believe in enjoying the game over anything else. Weather you like to take your time leveling or rush to cap to experience the end game content, do it because you want to do it, not just to meet someone elses expectations.

We are a mature guild. While this can be hard to explain, if you feel like the only adult in a kindergarten class when on your guilds teamspeak or reading your guilds chat, we may be the place for you. It's not to say that we do not cut up or goof off...it's just a different level of humor. While any age is welcome to join the guild as long as they behave themselves in chat, we do require you be 18 years old or older to join the our teamspeak server.
