Such a huge archetype in TES, and ESO desperately needs some new weapon options for magicka builds.

Any news on this potential new skill line lately?

Necros Are Very OP In PvP (At This Time)

I’m not even going to write a lot about this. It’s just crazy. Went in to duel some friends on necros with my Stamplar who I switched to heavy armor so 29k resists + bloodspawn. Mag necros are like pet sorcs on steroids. You can do nothing but survive for a little while. Targeting becomes a feat of impossibility. Stamina necros can easily get tooltips of 24k on the Goliath ult. It’s like having a more powerful DBoS spammed at you. The buffs and debuffs from both are crazy. Feel free to discuss. I’m just adding my personal experience, but the warden is a cake walk compared to fighting these things. For a stamplar at least we’re looking at very tough times ahead. The other issue is that with so many corpses runnng around Cyrodil is sure to lag like never before. This isn’t a new class, this is unmatched strength locked behind a paywall that completely ignores the fact that PvP already can’t handle the animations current classes have.

Shield Breaker Set

Testing out the new shield breaker set it appears that it's not a straight 6% damage increase. With 260 more stam in my shield breaker loadout and the exact same weapon damage and buffs against a target dummy, I was hitting for just over 4% more damage with spriggans with a two handed mace equipped which is pretty significant. I know that 6% damage increase can come before or after cp, armor etc. and wanted to bring it to the developers attention to make sure that it is working as intended.

Is this kind of PvPing considered griefing?

I got hate whispers for trying to take towns, not camp them, but take. We use bruma for res spot in the north. We just happened to kill a lot of people taking it. Do you think this kind of gameplay is considered griefing? It’s under 4 minutes.

We are a social PvE/PvP guild with lots of experienced AND unexperienced members that loves to hang out.

We host events such as Map runs, Trials (learning, normal and Veteran), raffles, PvP (Cyrodiil, IC(s), BG's), dungeon runs and so on.
For the Cyrodiil and Imperial City (sewers) events we rotate the alliances so one week we have AD, another DC and so on. We are a AD guild though :kissing_heart:

We welcome everyone no matter experience in the game.

Our roster are filling up fast but we do have a few spots left :smile:

Can we please atleast have token or fragment system for vMA the rng there is absolute horrendous it's no fun wasting 1 hr everyday just to grind weapon of your choice.

As Elsweyr is coming out and everyone is very excited to be a necromancer, many people would like to make their main character a necromancer instead of making a new one. People who like to use their main characters to quest and do everything.

The necromancer class has the most amazing animations in this game yet.
And it makes other classes look very petty compared to it. The unique animations and different animations for the same skill makes it the best looking class in the whole game.
Of course people could make a new character to play with it but most of these people like to do trials and pvp.
I am talking about people who have a main character to play solo or with 1 or 2 friends who don't trail everytime and such.

So all together what I'm asking is for when elsweyr comes out, every account gets a class change token for one character only and no option to buy another one for exploitation and pay to win mechanics.

What do you think?

As the thread title says, I'm getting this error while trying to log into the game. My account is active and password is correct. I can log in to my account but cannot log in to game. What is the problem?

Whirling Blades should lose 50% damage bonus and revert the range from 6m back to 5m. Add the reduced cost back to this morph.

As for the people asking why, base ability got 50% damage boost, cost reduction and 1m range boost. Steel Tornado lost its execution. Whirling Blades now has execution but lost eveything else.

Inshort, Steel Tornado now does 50% more damage all the time, hits wider with reduced cost where as Whirling Blades hits as hard as Steel Tornado WITH execution on top of it but with less range.

cp pvp is a lost cause its unbalanced and wont ever be saved. nocp pvp is far superior and very well balanced. no need to ask for nerfs when u see a sorc or warden take down 20 people solo. just go no cp pvp. i wont understand why ppl even go for cp pvp. its garbage in my opinion.

cp should be removed from pvp in general. pvp should rly just be like nocp cyrodiil and battlegrounds in the game and then just focus on balancing that.

u can also make a 1 vs x nocp build but that will take far more effort and mechanical skill (resource management, timing, reflexes) in the game.

Snipe change says reduction in shot time, 1 sec from 1.1. With this change snipe is losing 25% dmg? Shoots 10% faster, with 25% less dmg.. what?

For me it's getting the rotation going on the PS4.

I am finding that switching bars tends to be rather inconsistent for me (sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't).

I was trying to keep my AOE/extended effect skills on my back bar and keep my spam on my front bar but I've had to move some AOE and defensive to the front and spam to the back because of it.

Fortunately, as a DPS Sorcerer (now)

I'm on the PS4

Calls for DK Wings Nerf, Why?

My main is a DK and been enjoying playing it for years. Why all of sudden are multiple posts to nerf wings when they were never an issue and have been nerfed multiple times already? Did a lot of players switch to ranged builds and can’t kill us as easily?

Nightblade Dark Cloak changes

I am a nightblade pve tank main. Dark cloak is the only reliable heal that a nightblade tank can use. As a tank when you are taking a lot of incoming damage you need a burst heal not a heal over time. I would rather see the minor protection removed from dark cloak completely but have an instant heal dark cloak with a heal over time attached to it. I dont mind the amount of total healing i just dont want it spread out across 8 seconds when I need a burst heal NOW.
Dragonknights have green dragon blood and coagulating blood for burst heals.
Sorcs have the clanfear which heals for a huge amount of max health upon instant cast.
Templars have tons of burst heals that are instant cast.
Wardens have arctic wind which has a burst heal with a heal over time attached to it.
Necromancers have their scythe ability which heals instantly for a percentage of max health.
Why cant nightblades have a burst heal too?
I wish it was something like heals for 36% of your max health instantly. Or even something like heal for 15% of your max health instantly and 15% of your max health over 3 seconds.

The minor protection is not why this skill is used. It is used for the healing. Nerfing the reliability of the healing will make it pointless.
If you want minor protection on a tank you can use circle of protection(fighters guild) or slot temporal guard(psijic ult morph).
I went on pts today and my dark cloak tooltip was like 2k healing per second for 8 seconds. That was with my standard pve vet trials tank setup.
4.5% max health healing per second when you have about 40k health is only 1800 health per second.. What are nightblade tanks supposed to use now??

craglorn and cyridell flickering/artifacting assets--- old bug --- needs forum mod attention

many of the eso community have been having an issue where the assets in craglorn, and for some cyridell are flickering where it looks like artifacting from a failing graphics card, but it is the game.... i found a bug report thread on this in july in which i commented and sense then the issue still happens.... i will post the original bug report thread as well as the video the op of the thread posted with the issue below.... i would really like this bug fixed if posible... it is distracting, and worrisome that this bug has remained in game so long after being reported.

...the group finder is broken... at this stage you'd think ZOS would get something right just by accident... at least they are consistent in their technical incompetence ^^

Looks like all attempts to fix zerg groups are failing.
Let's take detonation for example. It worked well until zerg groups started using it themselves.
There are many examples like that, another one is the bugged siege (now fixed) that were melting players in seconds. Seemed like a nice anti-zerg tool but as in the first example it was exploited and used against single players too.

I still believe there are good solutions to fix zergs out there. I'll bring one idea below. Hope to see it implemented.

The idea is to have an ultimate "Challenge Soul". You drop it on a group and one of its members is being challenged. Basically it is a duel request. All players get greyed out and you fight the random player that got lucky being challenged.

The challenge will hold for 5 minutes or until one of the players dies.

When you get out of the challenge your ultimate is getting depleted in order to avoid being in the challenge mode non-stop.
