I mean I’m just going to throw this out there dawn breaker. You guys think incap is op? Dawnbreaker. Undodgable large cone aoe large first and second damage over time oh and it stuns and can hit a whole large group of people and as if that wasn’t enough when slotted it increases your max damage. As a stam sorc you cast hurricane dawnbreaker spin to win and it’s over. As a stamplar you dawnbreaker jabs to death. As a warden you shalk dawnbreaker spin to win. Am I getting the message out loud and clear? The real op stamina skill is dawnbreaker. You have incap that has 5 meter range (super easy to dodge or get out of range even just by accident) is actually dodgeable hits one target (Only one) the damage buff you get is only against that player not other players. It stuns now only if you have 120 ulti and only if player isn’t blocking or running immovable. And the defile helps to keep these super power builds from being like ok crap I got hit hard I’m going to heal up and shrug it off. At least for a few seconds. On Xbox NA pvp is loaded with heavy armor heavy hitting super healing builds that can still dump dawn breaker and kill multiple people. You see it all the time in the towers just kiting and healing taking the full brunt of my 5000 weapon damage as if it was nothing then when ult is up them slam that dawnbreaker taking half of us to about half health and then they focus that person and kill them and rinse and repeat. Even with how incap is live you can’t kill these players alone. The skill needs a nerf. If you have played on Xbox na pvp you see it all the time. Even us nightblades run it. Many even prefer it over incap it’s only the ones who like to assassinate one player that actually run incap. But if your looking to decimate multiple people you run dawnbreaker.

Witchman Armor Set - per ulti Point or ulti cost?
Hey,
If I use the witchman Armor set and have 500 ulti Points, but only use a ultimate with 200 cost, will I get the Ressources for the 500 (my ulti Points) or 200 (cost of the ulti) Points?

What don't you want to see next?
Plenty of what-you-want? discussions.
How about what you don't want?
Pointless me saying, but anyway: Try not to turn this into a 'less lag' discussion.
Looking more for 'less skyrim'; 'less endless grind' etc.
Here >.< is your piece of salt to go with any response. Or maybe it's a piece of my brain? Who can tell?

The problem with faction lock for the veteran PvP players
Like many of the folks I play with on a daily basis, we have been here since launch. Over the past almost 5 years, many of us have made friends on all 3 factions, especially since One Tamriel. After one has been playing a game for 5 years, fighting the same groups day in and day out, presents little challenge. There are also times of the day or certain days of the week, where the populations in Cyrodiil are grossly imbalanced. So you have players, like myself, who will swap to our other faction toons because we prefer to not be a part of the zerg trains. Example: it's Monday night and EP has a queue of 70+, but I want to play in Cyrodiil. I don't have over an hour to waste sitting in a ridiculous queue, so I choose to gather a few friends from my guilds to play on AD or DC where the queues are shorter or where more balance might be needed. Because honestly, how fun is it to constantly be on the side who is on the larger side of a 30 v 5 fight? Where is the challenge in that? That's not PvP, that's giving the opponent no chance at all.
There has always been a tinfoil hat brigade that is under the assumption that griefing or spying is prevalent, when in fact, it hasn't been a problem in 4 years. The few that do, will find a way to be trolls regardless of the changes ZOS makes. Because the conspiracy theorists shout the loudest, those of us who have friends across all 3 sides, are now forced to choose to essentially retire multiple toons or go to dead campaigns. We no longer have any flexibility to enjoy the game with whomever we like. We no longer have the option to go to the losing side when large groups are mowing over entire maps (which is quite frankly boring and what is truly ruining Cyrodiil). We no longer have the option to play the toons we poured hours of work into without being penalized. We no longer have the option to engage in interesting fights against new opponents.
Faction locking serves no purpose other than to ostracize a large portion of the veteran PvP community. I'm not alone in saying this will probably be the end of my subscription. I know many who have said the same. That's $180/year ZOS will no longer see from me and it will also influence my decision to purchase new content. With no resolution to performance issues in sight, and now this, why would I?
The proposed changes are further evidence that ZOS doesn't actually understand the actual problems with Cyrodiil and just wants to slap a bandaid on it, again, to appease some players, but give the rest of us another reason to jump ship the minute an even slightly better game comes along. Many of us inch closer to that ledge every day we log in.

Hate for PvP
I don't understand the PvE players' hate for PvP. I don't see any PvP players hating PvE much but everytime I visit the forums and read some discussions, I always see PvE players spitting hate for PvP. I don't really understand the reason, as a both PvE and PvP player. I get it, some people might not like PvE or PvP but so many people hating PvP, why? Does it hurt more if you get killed by a player instead of a boss? It doesn't even degrade armor... I don't understand why some people are so afraid of the concept of getting killed by another player.
In my opinion, getting killed by predictable AI is more insulting than getting killed by an actual human. Those PvE players are fine with wiping over and over again by a dungeon/trial boss but they lose their minds when it comes to getting killed by another player. Hello, they're the same thing! You just respawn and try again... I just came here because I've seen some people not doing the amazing Imperial City questline just because of the risk of getting killed by enemy players. I just can't get my head around it, getting killed by a player is no different than getting killed by AI (actually it's less punishing) and also (this part is solely my opinion) I think PvP is more fun because fighting against enemies that actually fight back is more fun. I love both PvE and PvP but I think PvP is more fun, actually the only PvE content that can compete with PvP is the Maelstrom Arena. However I'm not telling anyone that they should start doing PvP. I just explained why I love it and I want to know why some hate it. Hating it with a passion is just not understandable for me.

Sorc Tanking Vet Depths of Malatar and Frostvault
Acquired Wrathstone Delver achieve.
Posting this so any other classes that have doubts or are told they need to be a DK to tank vet DLCs. Granted there are many wise players that know and post this already, just here to reinforce :]
PUG Group Composition:
Sorc tank
Sorc mag DPS
Unknown PVP player
Templar heals
My PUG attempts: not a recommended approach, around 8-9
Sorc Tank build:
Breton, Vampire Stage 4
Sets: Lord Warden, Ebon Armory, Willow's Path
Mundus: The Apprentice (magicka recovery)
Food: Tristat
Potions: Tristat
Enchants: Prismatic Defence all armor pieces, magicka recovery necklace, stamina recovery rings.
Health 38k on Frost staff, remaining points to Stamina
Traits: infused, sturdy, divine armor mix, defending weapons, triune jewelry
Skills: absorb magic, unstable clanfear, restraining prison, silver leash, boundless storm, empowered ward, pierce armor, heroic slash, inner fire, temporal guard ult (not used, on frost staff for additional mitigation, aggessive warhorn ult)
Keys to success:
1) PUGing and wiping a lot. Not fun. Aka, learning mechanics. Because you can be a DK tank with OP skills but without knowing mechanics you die just as quickly. Maybe not as quickly, but you get the point.
2) Sorc mag DPS knowing mechanics hard and providing calls. Trial raid leader type, gave me a rating of 8 as a tank. Helluva complement imo. Most likely +40k DPS.
3) Positive attitudes even during Protector bugs.
Other helpful factors:
1) 3 of 4 group members on comms
2) All group members 810cp.

- The Truth About Factions in ESO -
This is gonna be a longie. Please bear with me on this.
Otherwise, tl;dr in the end.
I remember the 2nd day of open beta.
Me and my friends got on our lvl1 horses and rode across Auriel's Bow (OG 30 days camp) completley unaware of transits existence, only to realize the scroll gate is shut and we can't steal DC scrolls. Funny story.
Those friends are long gone. Haven't played eso in 4 years.
But I have. I've played this game for 5 years+ now, and I made new friends. Many new friends.
Some are EP mains. Some are DC mains. Some are AD mains. Some play all three regularly.
One Tamriel ensured I'll run into people from all factions and get to play with them all.
And so, I've got quite a few groups of friends, on all factions. And since my only fun in ESO atm is PvP, I've PvPed with all 3.
I even made my PvP guild out of members of all three alliances, knowing we can all pick a side and play together as we wish.
As ESO enabled us to do, and even encouraged - by removing the original faction locks and implementing One Tamriel- causing us to run into all factions in PvE zones, quest with all, do events with all, have trade guilds with mixed factions and queuing us into dungeons with all factions.
And now you tell me I can't play with my friends. I have to choose just one group.
My guild can't keep playing in the main campaign if people main different factions.
We have absolutley no way to keep active as a guild unless people turn against their groups of friends on their main faction and choose to commit to play with just us.
You can tell me we can go to the 7days campaign, but knowing my timezone and the amount of players in Cyro off-primetime, I know it will be dead empty.
It's go loyal or go home. But you can't just be loyal to your friends.
TL;DR:
I boohoo about faction-lock because I will miss my stupid frendz.
Now to the most important thing:
I recently started an online petition asking ZOS to not re-introduce faction lock.
I've gathered a few like minded friends of mine to sign it but I am sure there are so many more people out there who agree with us. So please-
If you agree that faction lock should not be introduced to the game the way it's planned to, please take 5 seconds of your life and sign this petition.
You can use your ingame name or any name you like and it seriously takes no more than a few seconds to do.

A petition and a forum post may not be likely to help our impending doom- but heck if I wont try to stop it anyways, and the same goes for you.

Why Does Incap Still Have Reave?
Title says it all. Stamblade does not need more sustain. Even in PvE it's unnecessary.
If Reave doesn't get moved to soul harvest you'll find most magblades going back to Incap if they weren't there already. Feel free to take the defile off. Magblade has enough ways to secure kills

[Spoiler] Coldharbour public dungeon, "Soul Survivors": Can I not?
In the Coldharbour public dungeon, Village of the Lost, there are two quests that contribute to the completion of the dungeon. One of these quests is called 'Soul Survivors', where a Soul-Shriven Dunmer, Suronii, has you navigating around the treacherous environment of mean Daedra and a nasty, gooey lake to rescue two of her friends from the native baddies. After which, you are asked to sacrifice yourself by jumping off a cliff to complete her ritual to send the three of them back to Nirn. However, the journal suggests that there should be an option to refuse to aid these people. Yet, you cannot seem to tell Suronii and her buddies to go **** themselves for suggesting something as outrageous as throwing oneself off a cliff, to an absolute stranger of questionable morals who had just asserted that he/she/it just slaughtered all the Daedra between the portal entrance and the cliff, like butterflies in Skyrim, for the last 10 minutes.

Coming to a conclusion that there may be an issue on the developer's side, I decided to email the ESO Team 2 days ago. I also followed every instruction from the team listed below:
And guess what?
Although the issue has yet to be resolved, I would like to thank the Elder Scrolls Online Team for your continued assistance. I really appreciate it as a player.
But still. Did I perhaps overlooked something? Did Steam forget to bring this quest when I installed it (PC NA, by the way)? Did an AddOn messed up my quest and tried to secretly tell me to kill myself? Or am I, the proud and mighty Ebony Tarkus, Mighty Slayer of Metallic Beings and Heavily Armored Foes, Stalwart of the Undead, doomed to inevitable suicide for three strangers of questionable morals that he barely met?

Coming to a conclusion that there may be an issue on the developer's side, I decided to email the ESO Team 2 days ago. I also followed every instruction from the team listed below:
- Logged completely out of the game for more than half an hour.
- /reloadui
- Abandoned the quest and retried, but picked the non-persuasion and non-intimidation options and sacrificed two innocent Daedra taskmasters.
- Abandoned the quest again and retried, but picked the persuasion and intimidation options and spared two innocent Daedra taskmasters.
- Log completely out of the game and used the 'Game Options>Repair' function under the game client.
- Abandoned the quest again and retried, and picked the persuasion and intimidation options again to spare two innocent Daedra taskmasters.
- Log completely out of the game, removed all files from the 'AddOns' and 'SavedVariables' folders, as well as the 'AddOnSettings.txt' from the 'live' folder.
- Used the 'Game Options>Repair' function under the game client again.

Shadowy Disguise
Hello. Nightblade main here (I have 15 max lvl characters of each class, stam and mag, as well as 5 psijics for each class) I’m well aware there are many counters to shadowy disguise, but a lot of them don’t work very well.
I understand the need to be able to reset the combat for a NB, but what I find infuriating, especially with the recent mobility changes, is our ability to disengage so quickly, and basically evade death without repercussion.
What I propose is similar to the sorc treatment and roll dodge, but with a twist. At a certain health threshold it should kick in and increase the cost of magicka.

New Mount does not fight like indicated
I find it highly disappointing to find out that the new cat cat does not fight like it was indicated. I thought it would be like skyrim when the black horse with the flames was summoned it stayed and fought with you till unsummoned. I bought the prerelease for that reason. It is an intelligent mount that can fight..yet our mount cannot talk like the others in game or fight. They gave us a dumb version of the cat. A total rip off and misleading advertising ploy. They are becoming con artists. ESO fell short on this new special mount.

If this were to play as an actual Elder Scrolls game...
If this were to play as an actual Elder Scrolls game:
All weapons would be stamina based. Staves would not shoot magic, they would be sticks. Glyphs on them would allow ranged magic attacks until they ran out of power.
All class skills would be magika based. There would be no stamina morphs. Class skills are spells. Most characters would use both stamina and magika unless they chose not to use any magic.
Your champion points would allow specialization into magic or fighting or sneaking or a mix of all of them, but not equal expenditures into each of the three constellations. You would choose specific skills or spell damage types to improve. For example, you would need to improve elemental damage types to cause status effects with those types.
Vampires and werewolves would be killed by guards as if they always had a bounty, but guards would be killable, if very hard to kill. They would also respawn instantly back at their spawn point instead of staying dead because it's an MMO and not a single player game.

Can you suggest ways to make block, bash, and dodge easier?
I like an easy gaming experience. I'm currently playing a magplar. For the most part it's enjoyable to play. The one downside is many elite/quest-boss mobs can one shot my toon (or my reaction time is slow enough that the mob gets in multiple attacks and kills the toon) if I miss a dodge, block or bash. I'm using the add-on Combat Cloud and that helps make it clearer how to react. Does anyone have suggestions on making block, bash and dodge easier?
