This is the unofficial discussion thread for the article Introducing the Baandari Pedlar Crown Crate Season.

The Baandari Pedlars, like all traders, love the gleam of precious gems! For years, these merchants have traveled across the land, requiring them to train and equip mounts for both comfort and utility. However, you may be asking yourself how they came into possession of Dwarven Spiders. Well, even though the long-lost Dwemer never spread as far as Elsweyr, the Baandari Pedlars go everywhere, and will adapt even ancient technology to their uses. For the right price, they might even sell you one! No merchant beckons a customer with more charm and enthusiasm than a Baandari Pedlar!

Looking to make an Orc tank - class advice?

Title, really. Tanking's what I'm really wanting to get good at in ESO - never touched healing, and DPS is more of a slow burn - so where should I start? I'm looking for any and all advice, especially around what class and skills are the best to use. What I'm least flexible on is the race. I'd really like it to be an Orc. I have a stamina Templar Orc already, with whom I've done a lot of tanking, but I'm taking that character in more of a DPS-heavy all-rounder direction for now, possibly with PVP in mind. This new Orc tank would not be for PVP though, it'd be for PVE with a view to end-game content in the distant future.

Any and all advice gratefully received. I'd also take pointers on which up-to-date videos to watch, because so far the only ones I've found are out of date.

sunspire treasure chest problem

I'd like to preface this with the fact that i LOVE sunspire. i'm still progging veteran and hms but its so much fun, especially for the support roles. Plus, the dps get to stack and parse like they always wanted! i really love the aesthetic and acting and atmosphere they establish and the bosses are the perfect balance of mechanics but also good old dps racing. I love this trial and the gear is also awesome which is a huge relief.

the best part by far is the fact that perfected gear drops on vet mode non hm. This is a huge step in the right direction towards making perfected gear accessible but still a difficult feat, whereas in CR you were either the best of the best or you didn't get perfect gear. Now you just have to be extremely good.I know some people are probably disappointed with this and i can see why, but I for one enjoy it. I'm also really excited for the motif because it looks great in the game compared to how it did in the preview. Smart thinking to make it the armor you see when you make it a character, otherwise i wouldn't have noticed it as much.

anyways. Chests are bummer. They only drop normal versions of the gear, even in veteran mode. Yes this stops people from chest farming (which for some reason I still see a LOT of people doing?) but it feels crummy to actually play the vet content and clear it and not get good gear from chests. The obvious solution that i mentioned a few nights ago [ and my friends say it's already been suggested ? ] is to just put all the chests in between the sealed door and the final boss, and let them drop perfect gear. This way you have to clear both bosses on HM in order to get the chests and you can't just cheese farm it, AND vet players get better rewards for their efforts.

Do you think this is something they'll implement? does this make sense to you? Are all ESO players a subconscious hivemind that share ideas subliminally and I got this thought from what i thought was independent of everyone else who also came up with it at the same time?

Golden vendor for consoles please change items to shoulders instead of helms!

Can we please offer monster set shoulders instead of helms like we have on the PC?

I'm getting furious that I already have 6 of the same monster helm and not a single shoulder yet. Seriously when one item is locked behind a RNG wall and the other a reward for completing content, why would you offer the later as another means of obtaining it via alliance points? That makes no sense. Its a slap in the face to those who put in time and skill to actually be able to complete content and rewards those who suck at the game or are just casual/new players that have a little luck. I've literally seen cp 200 players running around with the set I want who couldn't even clear VBC... The best gear in the game should be earnable at some point in time for those who work for it. At least if you already have the mechanic for it already. I've thrown 1000s of keys into just 3 little chests to still not have 3 of the shoulders that I want/need (and I mean the actual shoulders, even if it's the wrong trait) yet I have a healthy stack of helms just waiting to be paired with it's counterpart. I like the idea of offering RNG items for sale even if it's a hefty price considering if your good enough to obtain the counterpart you probably have the funds to get the other whenever it goes on sale. But sell the item that's locked behind the RNG wall and let the player go out and earn the helm considering if they are good enough to do so. Is that too much to ask for? You have it that way for PC, why consoles have to be different is totally beyond my mind...

Another bugged Battleground.

Queued for a battleground, got one, watched the teams fill, only to have one team, still stuck with two people in it ten minutes later. Then to slap me in the face once more, I get a penalty for leaving the bugged battleground that would never start.
I thought this was fixed? Clearly not.

How to calculate "Applying Patch" time

Why is "Applying Patch" is taking so long? Pause is greyed out ... it has been almost two hours. According to the Launcher, I have 26,758 MB remaining at 6.77 MB/s.
I've confirmed that "Applying Patch" is not the same as downloading. I can see the Launcher is modifying the files on my computer.
I checked the Activity Monitor and killed all unnecessary programs.

How can I figure out how many hours or days this is going to take?

Screen is spinning around like crazy

Hi all. I just finished downloading the latest patch. Finally got logged in.

My screen is spinning around so fast I can't even talk to the banker - or anything else.

I set my camera control to default.

I used Minion to update all my Addins - but what Addin would cause the screen to spin?

Has this ever happen to you?

Happened twice to me tonight. This is an enemy ram that's on the second floor of the frontdoor postern, it just popped there as I was oiling it...

Don't you love it when you queue for BG and it says Forming group but then says "someone declined the queue returning to queue"??? Or how about after waiting a million years for everyone to accept the queue invitation you finally get into a match and are forced to play with only 2 people on your team while the other group gets 4 giving the team with 3 or more an advantage over you???? Tell me how a match even starts with these uneven teams???? This actually happens more often then not... uqxcvl7qy22f.jpg

Ugh.
I've had this game since 2014, and the highest level I've ever gotten a character to was 33.

To the point, then.
As the title suggests, I'm looking for advice on what class I should build.

I usually go for stam NB (I have like... 6 of them), but it gets a bit boring remaking the same class all the time.

I think the only classes I've gotten above lv30 were a NB, and a DK.
Everything else, I haven't even breached lv15 with.

I generally dislike ranged combat in this game, though it probably gets better after you, you know... actually have more than 3 skills to use.
So what do you think is the most fun (pve) class?

I have necro, but not whatever the other one is.

I think my problem is just that I don't enjoy how leveling works in mmorpgs--super boring in the start, more fun near the end.
I always end up playing through the opening island, a little bit of the first zone, get bored and pin that boredom on the class, then restart.

In 5 years, I've probably played the opening islands 150ish times, and gotten past the first zone maybe... 6 times?
And past that the number dwindles even more.
I don't think I've ever managed to complete any of the alliance stories, yet... :/

Would you guys like it if ZOS added random or summoned under certain circumstances, Bosses in all Delves, Public Dungeons and Trials? kinda like the hidden Indrik in Marches of Sacrifices but instead having the boss jump in after killing a boss or a “mysterious” portal opening up.

The 2nd boss Mighty Chudan broken:
1) Argonian mages in electric bubble spawn
2) Player with double-circle-AOE on his feet stand directly between boss and electric bubble
3) Boss rushs and must to destroy bubble and Argonian inside, but bubble and Argonian still live.
So Dungeon can't be finished because Argonian mages can't be destroyed.
