Mounts without saddles

Ever since housing was released, I've wanted to be able to plant my horses in stables without their saddles on them. I would never leave a horse saddled up out in the field, so it doesn't make sense to me that we can't untack them. At the very least, if there is only one horse model available without the saddle on (the brown/white pinto that I've seen near the wayshrine in the north of Rivenspire), please make this one available as a furnishing. Also cows.

I am planning on buying the meadow when it's available, and I have a decent little flock of chickens to put there, but I would like to be able to place horses and other animals/mounts without saddles on them.

Can someone give me a good reason not to roll a magicka character instead of a stamina one?

From my point of view (500 cp scrub) the top end classes (ones that kick my butt the most often) right now are magicka. From bg and no cp perspective.
  • Better healing, can hold block and spam instant heals. 100x better than rally
  • Resto shield, can save you from anything
  • Stamplar is good, magplar is better
  • Stamblade is squishy but has good burst, magblade is not as squishy, infinite cloak, and good burst.
  • Pets body block and do massive damage
  • Shield spam
  • Can use your non primary resource for movement, meaning you dont have to worry nearly as much about sprinting using all your stam
Can someone give me a reason not to switch my stamplar to a magplar?

After 8 weeks of raiding about three times a week, we've finally accomplished it. Godslayer!
For those that don't know, this is all hardmodes in sunspire, with speedrun and nodeath, which in my opinion was a VERY difficult achievement to obtain
As always, shoutout to the entire Hodor team, super proud of the entire team! Also thanks to @AOEGU for subbing for us for this run, and a huge thanks to all the replacements we've had over the course over the last two months, thanks alot!

Can someone on PTS tell me if Foward Momentum will still have a small heal? Or will Rally be the only healing morph?

I'm trying the decide if I should use Forward momentum + hexproof on my pvp medium armour stam necro... Or should I use Rally + buffed shuffle when patch drops.

ZoS We need to talk about CP and it's Powercreep that is ruining the game.

I got news for you, no matter what they decided to do with the New CP System; it will fail. Why? Because CP is inherently flawed and just creates a gap between new and old players that shouldn't be there. They should instead make a talent system with key stones like League of Legends where you can choose 2 or 3 trees to draw passives from that all have a Keystone which has a unique and specific mechanic to it that you can only choose 1 Keystone per tree, and 3 smaller less effective passives. CP is inherently flawed and introduces too much of a power creep that makes PVE content too easy and PVP unbalanced AF, where as having a talent tree to pull from is limited but still useful enough to make more diverse builds without gating it behind a boring and pointless grind that many new players wont even play long enough to get to because of the laggy servers and buggy game.
@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_KaiSchober We love your game and are just very disgruntled with the current state, please take the feedback from this thread without offence, but instead treat it as an opportunity to be aware of what will help dig you out of the ditch your game currently is in, so that you can profit greatly in the long run and keep your game alive to profit from for many years. We all love this game and don't want to see it go down the toilet, but that's sadly where it is heading if you don't step up, admit your mistakes, and make a change.

Here is an example of League of Legends Keystone system to use as a base example for what could possibly replace CP. But instead of just 1 keystone, we should have 3 trees like the current constellations and be able to choose 1 Keystone PER TREE for a total of 3 keystones from a multitude of different keystone options.

Also, if you don't want to kill your game ZoS, Fix the Lag/Performance issues and bugs that have been plaguing the game for years. While your at it, completely scrap the changes you are going to make to classes and the cast times on Ultimates. Nobody wants that sht, if you go live with it I guarantee you will lose 25-50% of your games population. Don't make the wrong decision yet again ZoS. Nobody likes class homogenization and the gutting of core game mechanics and then having to "Adapt" every 3 months. Please, we love your game and you keep dropping it on its head like a drunk mother drops her newborn child.

Mag Warden Static Rotation (Scalebreaker)

With all the new Magicka DoTs, I’m working on a Warden DPS rotation that can make the best use of them. It seems that there isn’t really room for a spammable, so Deep Fissure will essentially fill this role. Here is what I have so far for a rotation.

Pre-buff with the Netch, then repeat:
Fissure, Scalding, Swarm
Fissure, Winter, Blockade
Fissure, Degen, Bear
Fissure, Reach, Consuming
Fissure, Scalding, Swarm
Fissure, Winter, Blockade
Fissure, Degen, Netch
Fissure, Reach, Consuming

It’s really the same 12s rotation twice, just alternating between the Bear ultimate and recasting the Netch on step 9 (or 21). This will be performed with the following bars. These are set up in such a way that all passive buffs are on the front bar (4% Mag and Mag Regen from 2 Mage’s Guild skills, and 8% Damage Done from 4 Animal Companion skills). This is done because 16/24 skills are cast from front bar, so it will be the active bar 2/3 of the time. The damage done on front bar will actually be more than 2/3, since every Deep Fissure will hit while on front bar (just before casting the next one) as well as every active bear attack.

The main thing I’m looking to discuss is the possibility of moving skills around to improve the rotation. The order they are cast is somewhat arbitrary. Fissure must be cast every 3s, or there will not be enough skills to fill the entire rotation (and no bar space to add anything else). I’ve kept it to where back bar skills are used in pairs of 2, filling the space between Fissures, so there is minimal bar swapping involved. I’ve also attempted to start with a good burst by beginning with Fissure (3 sec delay), Scalding (2 sec delay) and Swarm (slight delay from travel time), on the first cast of these skills you can skip Light Attacks and not even engage enemies until all of these attacks land together. I put the Bear in the middle of the rotation (instead of opening with it) because I plan to wear Master Architect with this build, and the Major Slayer proc will be more useful if most of my DoTs are already ticking. With a bear every 24s, the 10s buff should have just over 40% uptime on me and 2 allies. The second gear set I’m planning is Z’en’s to go for a full group buff build, and because this rotation keeps 80-100% uptime on 5 single target DoTs (Swarm, Scalding, Degen, Reach, and Consuming).

I want Blockade to be fairly early in the rotation to gain the Maelstrom Light Attack buff as soon as possible (but I put it after Winter’s because I find Blockade it’s easier to bar swap after). I also need to use Blockade morph over Unstable to keep the Maestrom effect the full 12s, despite the fact that Unstable is higher DPS.

I also tried to keep similar skills paired in the rotation, like my 2 AoE DoTs are cast together. I would like to mirror the feel of each attack on the same bar slot on front and back (Fissure and Blockade are both on 1 and are frontal rectangular areas, ideally Scalding and Winter’s should be on the same key since they are both ground-placed circular abilities, and entropy/swarm would be consuming/reach on back bar). I’m struggling a little to make this work, while keeping the rotation as simple as possible (preferring consecutive key presses and similar patterns over something like 1,4,2,1,5,3,1).

The rotation above is currently:
1,2,3,1 swap 2,1 swap
1,4,R,1 swap 3,4 swap
1,2,3,1 swap 2,1 swap
1,4,5,1 swap 3,4 swap

It’s not terrible, but I feel like it can be improved before I spend any time trying to commit it to muscle memory. Please discuss, I’d like to hear any ideas on how to make this build/rotation more effective. Thanks.

make vMA weapons buyable

Not buyable from the crown store, of course! But they could be sold for undaunted keys. In the new patch they are going to introduce chests with gear from specific dungeons for increased number of keys. I propose they do the same for vma weapons. For example, 20 keys for 1 chest with random vMA weapon (could be 50, doesn't matter). Or they could also sell bundles with random vMA weapons for 1mil alliance points.

The thing is that only tiny percentage of players are able to complete vMA and with the upcoming aoe nerfs this number will be even less! The absense of vMA weapons creates a huge divide between the top 0.1 of players who pull 60k dps and the average player base. I know many people spent days and weeks and months to get these weapons and I respect that. I don't ask it for free. I just want some alternative way to get it for those like me who can't beat it for some reason.

Off-meta healer identity crisis

I will attempt to do your job ZoS and give some good ideas for adding class heals to each of the non-meta healing classes!

Sorcerer:
Lightning form - have one morph give you an AoE HoT (balance it with the current buffs), and the other be what hurricane is currently

Dragonknight:
Cinder storm should add something else to the heal or increase the radius for it to be competitive with templar's ritual

Hello comrades !

First of all I wanna say that Zenimax did a great job with Summerset ! And I am creating this topic to share some of my thoughts about ESO with the community and hope to give a great feedback to future updates on ESO.

About the thoughts:
I've been playing ESO for 4 years now and we all agree that Zenimax did a great job since the beta. This game is getting better and better ! But, I have to make this topic to share opinions and "enhance" with other thoughts and make this game even better !
I am a big fan of Elder Scrolls saga and there is some aspects in the game that are making me a bit sad (in the lore and in the interactions with environment).
At the previous games like Skyrim and Oblivion, the quests are more immersive and the lore is very complete

No. Thats not what I said by far. Back to the subject in the previous games we can notice a lore that you can dive deep and know as much as you can about a character. Every little quest explains everything about a Daedric prince for example. I think ESO needs to make a more enhanced lore, with the details of every character inside of it. I am a player who wants to know every little thing about whats going on, I would like to know a history of a specific character (just an example)

I remember searching books in Skyring and reading diaries of the NPCs to learn something about their lives. To learn secrets about the lore, something that someone in the game development left there to someone find out and discover. And I don't feel the same way in ESO.

Everyone noticed in the previous games that when you are almost being detected in a cave or in a place that you shouldn't be there, the NPC always say "Is someone there ?". Giving me a awesome interaction with the NPC, I can thing that he is really thinking something, he is doing his job.

One more example is when the NPCS talk alone, about something that might be in their minds. That little detail could give you a lot of "immersion" into the whole game. Every NPC had a life, they have a family, a job, and a reason to be there. In ESO to be real I don't feel that, I feel the NPCS wanna show me the quest location and I have to do what I need to do and go away. That mechanic gives the game an air of artificial

Thats my thoughts about the game, and everything I said in here was just about a little examples of something that I miss in ESO. I really would appreciate if you guys read this and comment about your thoughts so we can help Zenimax to improve more and more the game !

The 2h attack animation is so bad

light and heavy attack...am i the only one really bothered by it? I know its a small thing but my nails curl every time i see it - the mother of all wet noodles...

I so wished theyd overhaul it or alternatively alter the speed so the first portion is a bit slower and the second faster to give more impact feel (similar to wreck. blow)

there are a lot of rather bad animations in the game compared with other mmo (gw2 for example)...heroic slash is another one....but the 2h attack is probably the worst

I need some ideas for Builderbreaker patch :(
