Backpacks / rucksacks now broken

Backpacks now appear looted, despite containing loot. Seen this at multiple locations / areas.

Only case I came across where this isn't happening was for a backpack containing stolen items.

Speed Boost / Additive Speed Issues

So, I don't mind majority of the patch. The biggest thing I'm trying to get over is as a Stamplar nerfing jabs slow to 40% from 70% (On every hit now - I don't care that it was on last hit, it still always almost hit).

The reason I think that jabs slow nerf was bad is that any speed boost almost counters the slow. So, a 40% jabs is now negated by any speed boost, while the 70% would still be quite effective.
Using a skill like Hurricane you can't really rely on jabs as much because they can just kite out of your way.
Also, if you use major expedition, or minor with Unstoppable, now you can basically sprint around with Unstoppable again.

If you don't know speed buffs and slows are now additive, so if you have a 100 speed and get slowed by 30% you should be at around 70% movement? With Minor you're 10% of the total.
Meaning you should be 80%, however I think its not working as intended. Unstoppable for example you aren't really slowed at all, literally you're quite movable now.


So, when I jab someone they should be slowed 40% if they have minor thats ~10%? to that? So, they should be slowed 30%; however, currently on live its not that way... or so it seems?
TLDR, it could be a bug. Speed boost seems to effective to counter slows, or additive speed isn't working properly?

Player sourced snares are now additive with movement speed, rather than multiplicative. This will reduce the overall effectiveness of snares in PvP scenarios.

'Maelstrom' Arena for Healers and Tanks

I would like to see ZOS make a couple Maelstrom-type arenas that are designed to test the skills of and give bragging rights to healers and tanks. The Healer arena can involve multiple NPC's that the player has to keep buffed, healed, give resources to, shield, mitigate damage etc - all the things awesome healers do. The tank arena can involve the player moving mobs, keeping up taunt and interrupting etc to protect NPC's and of course taking and avoiding huge damaging attacks.

Just think of how fun it would be for healers and tanks to have the same bragging rights and go thru the same challenges the DPS get to - it would be so much fun!

Do you like the direction of the recent combat changes?

Cloudrest Hoarfrost Bug

When you have the Hoarfrost from the Shade of Fallarielle on you

What happens?

The Synergy to drop the Hoarfrost does not appear and it cannot be dropped, making one death unavoidable.
What is meant to happen?
A Synergy that allows you to drop the Hoarfrost is supposed to be appear after a few seconds of Picking it up.
Since when has this been Happening?
This bug has been Happening since the Summerset Patch, while it is somewhat rare to have it happen to you it is very frustrating in a score or Gryphon Heart run.

Spontaneous logging out of computer user in macOS Catalina

Launch from Steam
Issue occurrence: 15 Oct during the morning PST (-7 GMT).

ISSUE:

-- ESO freezes during normal non-combat behavior and simultaneously logs me out to the user login screen at computer level. (The user login screen appears approximately one second after freeze and doesn't show any indication that ESO itself quits or that I have been logged out.)

-- When I log back into my user (computer level), no ESO-related activity is seen in Activity Monitor and both the ESO launcher and app are completely quit, but I hear game sound effects and music.

-- When I try to launch ESO again, I receive a message that I am already logged in.

-- Issue resolves temporarily after restart of computer (i.e., able to log back into game and continue play).

iMac 27-inch Late 2015
4 GHz quad i7
256 GB SSD
16 GB RAM
AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4 GB

No mirroring or screen extension active during time of occurrences.

I really like my playstyle (stamdk) but i know what to change and what gear i need to change the dps to 20k-25k but still i dont want to change becuse i have fun the way i play right now, but i still want to do content

Now i have stopped caring about Trails and vDLC so was wondering is 15k (can do 19k max) alot or atleast okey for all conent exept vet-dlc and vet-trails but like vMealstorm is something i plan to do very soon and what about nDLC ?

As an objective person, i have written any bad aspects i saw ingame, and also bugs, glitches, but i can't not say anything about Update 24's improvements. Performance gain which is noticeable, since my FPS climbed in cities, (not all ofc), from 30-45 to 55-70, with custom settings, SSAO, high shadows and distance set at 40-50.

I hope they keep this path, like they had informed us for the future updates, because there's still work to be done around performance improvements, around cities and few places away from them, like houses on fire, and forests with mist. If nothing else, such games should be made in such a way, to get the best out of a fast computer, especially when the player's GPU is 150%+ faster than the recommended one but the game makes it behave like..... minimum ! So... good work here devs, i give you that.

What with the HUGE Queue times for BGs?

So, i did 3 BGs so far... Each of them had near to 1/2 hour wait to to get in, one 38 mins O.o Can we know when this is going to be fixed? Did the 'fix' to Battle grounds, cause this? My last BG, ended in about 8 mins.. so a 1/2 hr+ wait... for 8 mins game time?

Can we please have some penguins in ESO?

Senchal Furnishing Merchant: Same as Rimmen's

Okay, now this is just ridiculous... a whole new dlc, with all new plants and available models to use for housing in various capacities, and the new furnishing merchant doesn't even have new things... it's all just a rehash of the Rimmen merchant, EXACT same merchandise, no difference. There's not even an achievement furnishing vendor to spice things up. Now, I'm hoping this changes if they release the achievement furnishing merchant... I don't know about you, but I would TOTALLY buy Moonsugar Meadows and turn it into a fruit farm if the new jackfruit tree model was made gold-purchasable at the gold furnishing merchant.

Hey, I was reading this link on UESP (http://en.uesp.net/wiki/General:Uutak_Mythos) and I thought it was pretty interesting and cool, especially the easter egg parts. Would anyone be interested in seeing a bat-esque costume or armor/weapon motif being introduced into ESO so we could roleplay as Echmer in the setting? Maybe a couple of references and such hinting at their existence? That would be awesome. ZOS devs, what do you think?

Looking for a ball group counter build

As the title said, I'm looking for a build which can be used for countering the ball group.
I have several magicka based toons already, and wondering if one of them can be used to counter the ball group when I play in cyro.
And I dont mean to kill them instantly, but to slow down their speed, or separate them, or do some annoying things to them, and so on. Cause I can never kill a ball group on my own, so I will let the others do the rest.

So what will be the best choice for class and skills?
For class, I suppose it depends on if there are some useful skills in the build.
For skills, skills like Time Stop, I'm already using it and I think it's very effective, and some other skills, which deals AOE damage like Inevitable Detonation may be a good option. What else?
And also some skills which can knock back single target or pull single target to yourself can be a choice, for example Javelin or Unrelenting Grip?
For ults, Negate Magic? Dragon Leap? I'm not sure.

My intention is to use this build when I encounter with a ball group and switch back to my main set afterwards. Anyone willing to share some advices, thx.

Doing a quest "Taking them to Tusk" killed the courier but I can`t find the missive. Been reloadui and no missive then another player doing same quest came in and the missive popped up but I couldn`t access. Can you guess what happens next?

I've been waiting forever for a decent desert palace in Alik'r or somewhere. I already picked up hundings palatial whatever, it's not bad, but I'm more along the lines of something like pariah's peak (or whatever it's called, the one in wrothgar) but for a desert home. Please. I've been waiting patiently since housing was available. Thank you for your time.

HAMMER is game-breaking and needs to be REMOVED until balanced

Hammer is spawning for factions when they have all scrolls, and one keep away from Emp. It is making the zerging and overwhelming odds of faction stacking exponentially worse and ruining all game play for long periods of time.

@ZOS_BrianWheeler, Please remove it from the game totally as it has only made every aspect of PvP worse for the vast majority of players.

If ZOS insists on keeping it in, please do not reintroduce it until it is more balanced.

My suggestions would be:
  • Emperor Faction players can not pick it up
  • Ensure hammer only spawns within the territory of faction gaining lowest raw potential points/time
  • Hammer-wielder blocked from using both way shrines and keep recall stones
  • If Emperor is gained by faction wielding, hammer immediately returns to Oblivion
  • Hammer has an additional timer of max duration (i.e 30 mins - 1 hour from initial pick up)
  • Remove Low-Pop bonus from game as hammer would serve this function when implemented in a balanced way

More drastic balancing might be to only let the faction it spawns for pick it up and have it automatically return to Oblivion after 30 mins.

If anyone else has comments/suggestions please discuss.

Trial dummy resistances?

Does anyone know how much resistance the trial dummy has? For the Constellations addon to spit out the right numbers I need to know the amount of resistance that the target has, and I'm pretty sure it's not 18.2k like on (almost) everything else. Anyone knows the right value?
