Strange green sqare
I have a strange green square in the top left corner of my game. It is there, whatever stage of game i am in. Be it the intro, the login window, the char menu, the game.
It is not caused by addons, malware or thirdparty software. Checked and disabled everything i can imagine, including malware scan and starting with addons and minion disabled.
Since I have this thingy, my mouse is bugged too. The cursor disappears when in chat, or when re-doing my UI elements. This is extremely annoying.
Game repair options and PC restart did not work.
Any idea?

Furniture "Elsweyr Canopy, Peaked" visual change after update. CROWN STORE HOUSING EDITOR PURCHASE
Elsweyr Canopy, Peaked (Crown Store Housing Editor Purchase Only) no longer looks the same. The Canopy now has big green and purple squares with blue border and no longer matches the Elsweyr Canopy, Bazaar. Attached are pictures of the original purchased Canopy, Peaked and what they looked like prior to update and what they look like now. These cost 450 Crowns a piece, (total 900 crowns) and were purchased a few months ago and placed with the Canopy, Bazaars in a crafting area. Several friends and guild members can confirm theirs have also changed. Please revert them back to their original color/pattern.

Upgrading the Dragonguard Sanctum progression
I've been working on rebuilding the Dragonguard Sanctum in hopes of viewing the achievement vendor items. For anyone interested in how this works, there is an achievement with four tiers. Progression is through main story quests and two dailies available in the Sanctum (one to kill dragons, one overland).
Completing the entire quest line will contribute a total of 9 quests towards this achievement (6 from Southern Elsweyr, 3 from the Finale).
4 quests completed - Chef added, extra nonfunctional NPCs
12 quests completed - Door unlocked to the Armory (Ancient Dragonguard set craftable)
20 quests completed - Achievement Furnisher unlocked (link to pics below), The Good Bits quest becomes available
30 quests completed - No Change??? (see post below)

Spontaneous logging out of computer user in macOS Catalina

Launch from Steam
Issue occurrence: 15 Oct during the morning PST (-7 GMT).
ISSUE:
-- ESO freezes during normal non-combat behavior and simultaneously logs me out to the user login screen at computer level. (The user login screen appears approximately one second after freeze and doesn't show any indication that ESO itself quits or that I have been logged out.)
-- When I log back into my user (computer level), no ESO-related activity is seen in Activity Monitor and both the ESO launcher and app are completely quit, but I hear game sound effects and music.
-- When I try to launch ESO again, I receive a message that I am already logged in.
-- Issue resolves temporarily after restart of computer (i.e., able to log back into game and continue play).
iMac 27-inch Late 2015

256 GB SSD
16 GB RAM
AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4 GB
No mirroring or screen extension active during time of occurrences.

Lost access to ESO plus and Elsweyr
I just logged into ESO on xbox to find my ESO plus isnt showing as active (payment went through on the 15th October) and Ive lost access to Eslweyr (I own the collectors edition, to which ive also lost access to my bonuses from that too) I Tweeted to the official eso accound and Bethesda support, also submited a ticket ( Ref is 191023-002365)

Dot nerf doesn't close skill gap
Maybe in absolute term it does, but zos plz look at the ratio between top 5th percentile to median.
Think about it, top tier player light attack weave better and often time likely to get more spammable out.
As a result, LA and spammable is a bigger % of the total dps for top tier player.
At the same time, dot dmg is a bigger % of the dps for median player.
This nerf actually hit mediocre player harder than top tier player in terms of proportion.
I suppose the only ones not getting nerfed is the bottom 5-10%.
These ppl just spam snipe over and over without doing anything else.
Basically now ppl who actually try to improve are only slightly better than ppl who just want to be carried.

What the hell is up with dps?
Just did a dungeon wayrest 1 last boss 26k total dps use to do 32k easy by myself on my mage necro.
I admit mage necro is not my main but I use to pull 30-35k on this boss last patch.
Plus can't even sustain anymore.
This game is just stupid now. I guess its time to find another game. [removed comment]

Fossilize bug
This has happened 6 times in the last 2 days. Magdk fossilizes me, I break free, roll dodge the root and then I am put back into the stun animation.

Class Ultimate Improvement Suggestions

The Nightblade ultimates Death Stroke, Soul Shred and their associated morphs have had a cast time for a while, now, and I think it's safe to say that the goal of making these abilities feel well and truly balanced has been accomplished. Indeed, now whenever someone tries to cast Death Stroke on another player, it is really easy to dodge and waste, and whenever someone tries to heal themselves with Soul Shred, they can be bursted down before they have a chance to heal themselves.
However, there are other class ultimates in the game that are still overperforming, and in need of drastic changes. To make these abilities feel completely useless diverse and balanced, I propose the following changes. Enjoy!
Wardens:
Wardens have two ultimates that are overperforming currently. The Feral Guardian is basically a free DPS boost, and so to cull its strength, I believe that activating the bear's ultimate should desummon it, making players have to go through the 2.5 second cast time all over again. Sleet Storm is also incredibly strong, and should have a one-second cast time to use. After all, creating a giant blizzard takes time and effort as seen in the Morrowind reveal trailer, and the ultimate should reflect on this.
Templars:
The Radial Sweep ultimate of Templars isn't only similar to the Nightblade's Death Stroke, it is cheaper. This is an outrage, and it should be given the .4 second cast time that Death Stroke was given. Rite of Passage is also an incredibly strong heal, vastly better than Soul Shred, and should have a one-second cast time. For a player to pray to the Gods themselves for healing and immediately getting an answer to their prayers is ludicrous, so this change is justified.
Sorcerers:
The Sorcerers are known as one of the easiest classes to play, and therefore the most popular. They have access to a wide range of abilities, but their ultimates stand out as incredibly strong. The following changes are called for because of this. The Negate ultimate has the power to remove ANY placed enemy effect, and should therefore get a three-second cast time. It should also mark the player casting it, so that they can be quickly identified and interrupted by other players in PvP. The Storm Atronach is also incredibly powerful in PvE, and should therefore have 2.5 second cast time, comparable to the Warden's Feral Guardian ultimate.
Dragonknights:
Dragonknight is the tankiest class in the game, but opting for high defense should have some drawbacks. For example, off the top of my head there are two ultimates of the Dragonknight that could really use a rebalance. First of them is the Magma Armor. Magma Armor is an incredibly overpowered ultimate, which makes players completely impervious to assault. To use such an ultimate should therefore have some room for error. The best way to give players a chance to counter this ultimate, is to give it a three-second interruptable cast time. This way, players will be able to see what the player casting the ultimate is up to, and have a chance at stopping them. The Standard ability is also very overpowered, and should have a two-second cast time.
Necromancers:
The Necromancer class should be tweaked to give players the immersive feeling of what it's like to call back the dead or call upon a giant monster to kill things. Frozen Colossus, Reanimate and their morphs should therefore all have an interruptable three-second cast time.
A better option than making these changes:
Make Soul Shred, Death Stroke and their morphs instant cast again. K thnx.

I've been playing this game for five years now. In that time, I've developed a lot of relationships and friendships with many players.
Don't force me to abandon those friendships.
I have multiple guilds that I play with. My AD guild plays twice a week. My pals on DC play on two different nights. Both groups play the same server, because that's where the fights are.
Your re-introduction of faction locks will force me to choose one of those two groups to outright abandon and no longer play with. *** that. *** that so much.
Several years ago we had this debate. Your team elected to remove faction locks after recognizing that they didn't accomplish much beyond artificially preventing people from playing with their friends.
Since that time, many players have taken advantage of the freedom you chose to give back to us to make alts, play with new people, and join groups on different alliances.
Don't fragment your community even more than it already is. I can't believe you had to bring this back up, when the issue was settled years ago for the better.

Lock rewards to the first faction you log in on, fine. I'll live with that. But don't outright block me from logging on and playing with my friends.
