I am feeling overwhelmed by the negative feedback on our forums to the point it's actually made me feel a bit flat in mood lately. I enjoyed Southern Elsweyr tbh. I loved the main questline and I enjoyed being driven to open up the furnishing achievements. I like to feel motivated to accomplish achievable tasks.
The npcs were fantastic, loved them all and it was great to reunite with some of the older ones too. I had a lot of laughs and giggles(no spoilers).
I was also in awe of the dragons, those amazing majestic creatures always grab my attention but my biggest treat was .....( spoiler so cant say as some have not yet played the dlc.) I also found the landscape stunning and it was very enjoyable to explore.

I must say that the storyline was very interesting and it kept me entertained. I want to take this time and space to thank our devs " Thank you for this beautiful and fun dlc and also for the extra week you gifted us for the event. I know it must be a very tough and trying time for all of you and I'm sure you are working extra hours to fix many of the issues our servers have been experiencing. I need you to know I love this game and i want you all to succeed so we can keep enjoying eso for many more years to come.


I hear so many complaints yet eso has some of the best story telling of any game i have played thus far. The housing system is better than anything that is out there. I love the realistic yet uniqueness of eso furnishings and housing. I think time is needed for our devs to get the servers working properly...I feel this is a process that is being worked on right now. I have to be honest and say that the combat system is weak atm and im not enjoying it...if i had a choice i would rewind the game but it is still not a deal breaker for me. I'm still here and i still have hope and faith in eso.....i am sure there are many players that want eso to flourish, to move onwards and upwards. I also want to add that i enjoyed the grapples more than i imagined i would 😅😃.

Healer's Role In A Group?

Okay, I did not want to do this but I have to.

I just leveled a dragon knight healer and I am currently healing in dungeons. I did not have any issues healing or keeping folks alive until level 2 dungeons/pledges/DLC dungeons (as expected due to gear). I am also using one of the online guides from Alcast's Website so I know its not ME.

Previously running through dungeons I have noticed that some if not 50% of players do not care for the mechanics of the game and will do whatever the f*** they want. I do not disagree with this in some cases. My issue is with folks that expect you to heal them while they are standing in poison, fire, spikes, etc. I am sure that most of us know that healing has a radius and only certain healing abilities can heal past that radius. So here is the question to the idiots that do not help others in the group and still expect a tank to pull agro and heals to heal them while standing in s***. Why are you playing in group content? Go play Skyrim!

Okay enough of that and back to my concern. Are we really expecting healers to heal through all the crap on the ground? Don't we all have self heals that can help healers to not spam heals 24/7 and break their fingers? Isn't this supposed to be a team effort not a fracking Tank/Heals battle? I also noticed that in most case I am doing 20% of all the group damage, WTH is wrong with that picture... I am a healer.

Please explain because I do not understand.

the set fortified brass now shows armor for the set bonus. Is that still the same as phys and spell resistance or is it nerfed with this recent patch? thanks

So i love theorycrafting and trying out weird builds in pvp, most are total ass, but when it works, it works.

Posting this because i always said medium was better than heavy..until i made a SnB/bow nord warden with max resistances, mag for wings, ice shield and lotus, crazy ult gen (like dawnbreaker IN my perma), 3k health recovery, oh and fully buffed ~5k wpn damage.


So, now I'm brainstorming how to make heavy builds on all my stam toons lol...

Anyway, let's hear those builds!

With the Swarm of Crows momento and the one where it sits on your hand, I'd really love to see a furnishing that's a crow. You could mount it on a tree branch or on a pile of logs, or just on rocks. Place several around a pile of the bloody bones as if they were picking it apart. I think it would be an awesome addition to make spookier, gothic houses. Just imagine the Exorcised Witches Hut with twenty crows on the roof looking down. May be wishful thinking but one can hope.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed but if you look around the traders today sometimes you can get lucky with really cheap 20 writ voucher witches writs.

I was checking out random traders and found one selling a long list for 2k each. I was buying as many as I could, noticed others had found them as well and were buying the ones that I was attempting to purchase. So they were selling like hot cakes. Once they all sold, checked my mail and noticed I had bought 10 writs. So 20k for 200 writ vouchers. Not bad right?

HAMMER is game-breaking and needs to be REMOVED until balanced

Hammer is spawning for factions when they have all scrolls, and one keep away from Emp. It is making the zerging and overwhelming odds of faction stacking exponentially worse and ruining all game play for long periods of time.

@ZOS_BrianWheeler, Please remove it from the game totally as it has only made every aspect of PvP worse for the vast majority of players.

If ZOS insists on keeping it in, please do not reintroduce it until it is more balanced.

My suggestions would be:
  • Emperor Faction players can not pick it up
  • Ensure hammer only spawns within the territory of faction gaining lowest raw potential points/time
  • Hammer-wielder blocked from using both way shrines and keep recall stones
  • If Emperor is gained by faction wielding, hammer immediately returns to Oblivion
  • Hammer has an additional timer of max duration (i.e 30 mins - 1 hour from initial pick up)
  • Remove Low-Pop bonus from game as hammer would serve this function when implemented in a balanced way

More drastic balancing might be to only let the faction it spawns for pick it up and have it automatically return to Oblivion after 30 mins.

If anyone else has comments/suggestions please discuss.

Moving forward or backwards is working fine, but trying to go left or right is non-responsive after the latest update. I don't know if its Steam, the PS4 controller, or something else. I'm not having the same problem on other games, just ESO and it doesn't seem to be consistent, it comes and goes, relogging on a character sometimes fixes it.

yes, a very naive melody :)

initially I had tried to kick off the conversation with questions on a bunch of random topics...

love to fight, carry scrolls, gank, defend, attack, pour oil on folks, repair keep walls til your fingers bleed - this is your thread...

love hearing big and little battle stories, as well as observations concerning the interaction between the alliances in this campaign - who doesn't love a good bridge fight...

big IC fan...at this point i wanna apologize right now for anything weird or crazy i may have done in IC (or for any future stuff)...I'm pretty laid back in cyro - IC has a way of getting me fired up on occasion...

hmmmmm, is it really true cyro reveals whom you want to be, and, IC reveals who you truly are...

if you want - say what's up, and if you like - let us all know what's up...

anyhow - enjoy, and, happy gaming trails...

I am curious to know your answers. And a huge disclaimer: I am not an expert in Dunmer history, I read about it in game/wikipedia but still.
So please be nice and more like explanative in your answers.
I don't have a rigid view in this, I am just going to put what I believed instinctly after my short readings.

So as I understood those 3 guys in Tribunal used the heart of Lorkhan and tools even though they were not instructed to and became gods. How did Dunmer justify believing in them? They disobeyed, plus there could be any other 3 guys who seized that opportunity and became gods.
They also lose their godhoods later. Why would people still worship them?

On the other hand there are proven-real daedric princes, and Azura still talks about Morrowind with love. (Even after cursing Dunmer, she still didn't abandon them)
Also as I understood, tribunal looks down on Ashlanders (also exiled them?), because they are savage, uneducated etc

It all just doesn't seem fair to Ashlanders while they are actually following the real daedric princes in their culture

On a totally irrelevant side note: Dunmer looks really cool, maybe it is good that they were cursed with this bloody eyes and ashen skin colour! <3

Hi.
Skill gives major brutality and sorcery and must increasing fully - charged heavy attacks by 50%.
But it gives 0% add to heavy attacks with restoration staff and only 50% to last hit of lightning staff and nothing to all other hits.

Heavy attack is attack from start untill it ends if player do not unpress button.

So it work like each hit was empowered by 50% before like:

(Hit1 + Hit2 + Hit3 + Hit4) * (1+50%)

Now on lightning staff it works like:
Hit4*(1+50%) + (hit1+hit2+hit3)*(1+0%)

For restoration staff it gives not like before:
(Hit1+Hit2+Hit3)*(1+50%)
But:
(Hit1+Hit2+Hit3)* ( 1+0%)

1 , 2 and 3 hits are damage over time, 4 hit is direct damage.

So for example necromancer have 15% add from first 3 hits from passives.

Add damage from crits and for sloted skills.

So his heavy attack are much powerfull than DKs, and it was our unique skill. It is very important skill for us.

May be the problem is, that not all attack calculates as direct damage, so after updaye 5.2.2 (all work in it) you fix dual heavy attacks and forgot add values to damage over time part of heavy attacks?

Please fix the problem, it is very important fot DK. It is our only good self buff and self damage empower skill we had.

I do 40 k dps on heavy attack build now, and i did 45 k when it work on 5.2.2 update.

Now i do 45 k in same build on Sorcerer and 46 on necromancer, but 40 on DK becouse main skill just do not work correctly.

If you decided not to fix it than please give us information about it. I will just go on sorcerer and will level up him then.

Will it be fixed or no? Please give us any information.

The skill was buged for 4 month already, i had to play with not destro staff but with restro on DD !!!

Now it does not work with both.

If it will not be fixed i need to know what to do - use the same build on characters with good passive skills and get better damage or wait, untill this bug will be fixed (if it will), and how long i must wait for it ?

IDEA: Crowns for Great Tips?

It seems clear to me that ZOS needs additional people testing releases, either internally (preferred but probably not realistic) or externally (which is what I believe this PTS forum is meant to serve as). The issue with this forum is most people only care about things that directly impact them, i.e Combat changes... many of which are not bugs per say, but subjective feelings on changes.

I'm proposing an incentive for players to root out and report issues; bugs that are reported and found to be valid by ZOS staff would be rewarded with a small crown amount (perhaps 20c - 100c depending on the severity of the bug). This would encourage more players to spend less time in the PTS server hitting practice dummies, and more time exploring and trying to 'break' things by
way of giving them some good feedback, instead of what currently feels like 'yelling into the void and wondering if anyone is even listening.'

It would be cool to have certain classes their own backrounds in the character sheets instead of alliance backround (daggerfall dessert backround sucks lol).
Itd be cool if we can pick our own backround or have certain classes have their own. like example necromancers have skulls and undead in the night backround. Itd be cool for roleplaying purposes xD

Roleplaying and Character Titles

As a roleplayer, I value how much titles i can get in this game, because they give a feeling that my character belong to this world.
I know many RPers who feel the same way as I do.

I wonder how much difficult is to implement new titles for our characters.

Many NPC have general titles that we could also use it, not everyone but just a few ones.
One of main sources about this is UESP page: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Generic_NPCs

Some titles would be a valuable QoL improvement, at least a minor attention for our community.
To simplfy this, devs could just bring some of these already present titles, for example:
-Jaqspur
-Altmer Officer
-Priest
-Ordinator
-Homeless Citizen
-Priest of Veloth
-Pact Honor Guard
-Apostle(!!!)
etc.

Would be possible to do it? How much "Titles" are important to your RP?
