For those that don't know, Bahlokdaan is going to be non-locked. Judging by how well that went for 7-day standard and the current conversations in the Official PVP Discords between every PVP GM (Minus DC because they are still falling apart due to you know who), almost everyone plans on moving to Kaal from Daan after it becomes unlocked.

I don't know if you have even entered Cyrodiil recently Zenimax, but Kaal is already in 64+ ques every. single. day. And now you want all the players from Bahlokdaan moving there because you want to make non-cp non-locked? are you kidding me? The place already lags 18 hours out of the day and with the non-cp guilds moving over on top of that the place will be even more unplayable for even more hours of the day (if you manage to get in in the first place that is.)

So knowing this is most likely set up already without question or votes from the community (because that's how Zenimax rolls), zos is going to wait till its such an overwhelming problem to do anything about it as per usual. So ill go out of my way to start listing solutions they can use when that time comes along with the pros and cons of each of them.

1. Make 2 non-cp campaigns: It will be the first thing people will suggest without understanding what comes with that. The pvp community is shrinking every day due to various decisions on zos' part and the game only being playable seasonally for most players. This would ultimately lead to multiple dead campaigns where people would PvD all day to their heart's content.

2. Lower the campaign locks: This would lead to guilds forced to spread out to other campaigns evenly. This could go with the option above to spread out the player base. The cons behind this is that the player base wants to play with or against specific people or groups and splitting them will lead to players not liking it entirely due to the lack of player interactions.

3. (The cop out) Make Kaal's server bigger to accumulate all the other players: This is the least likely one to happen but would probably be the safest bet and make it so you can keep your current plan in check. The downside to this is that you would basically be openly admitting all other campaigns don't matter.

4. (Most universally hated idea) Abolish faction loyalty altogether and make Kaal non locked: It would solve the Kaal overpopulation sure... but I can already tell you almost every GM I know would quit if faction loyalty was gone. What's the point of being competitive if you can just swap to the winning team? It's terrible and I highly recommend straying against this option even though it's most likely to happen.

5. Relocking Non-CP again: This wouldn't change a thing but maybe that's for the best. It would stop the full migration to Kaal, and can be done with option 2 to populate to populate it with Kaal's overpopulation. The downside to this is Zenimax would have to say the only changes to pvp is new sets and a new artifact pvd device for all of Greymoor. I say bite the bullet and do that and work on the things that people actually want for pvp. (insert a link to Pain's reaction video to the pvp update here)

If you have any other suggestions for Zos to never read, post them below. All in all, I will almost put money on Zenimax not doing anything about this till they see it was a bad decision and all campaigns but Kaal become as dead as "Standard" but who knows, maybe dead pvp is what they apparently strive for to be the "standard" of their game. :/

How do you prepare for veteran dungeons if running in PUGs or circumstantial premade groups?

How do you prepare for 4-man veteran dungeons? Do you try to learn mechanics before going in? This vote is for people who run in pick-up groups or circumstantial guild pre-mades, but not stable groups. I want to filter out people who always do content with few friends or with their tiny guild. Poll is anonymous.

Edit: there is error in last two poll answers making them somewhat redundant. Unfortunately I can't fix it now. I guess, we can count these votes together?

Voriplasm Pet In-game pictures ?

I am not playing much this period, so I will not even try to farm my way to the Voriplasm pet, especially after reading of players spending 12 hours and getting no fragments at all...let alone 7...
I am considering giving in to ZOS scheme, and buy the fragments with crowns tickets, but before I start advertising my kidney for sale to fund the purchase, I really would like to have a look of the pet ingame.

Can anyone post decent rez ingame screenshots ? Close to someone maybe, to have a sense of the scale of it ?

(searched the web and couldn't find anything, any link or suggestions are welcome tho)

I know that there is no way to measure this on console, and it will vary greatly by play style, but I wanted to do an informal survey on how often you actually die in PVP.

Please add some realistic weapon models.

I love the photorealistic graphics of the game. Yet I miss some realistic (i.e. period) looking european style swords. We have rather good looking daito and nihonto (soul shriven models) but nothing like real longsword (a greatsword in game terms) or an arming sword (one handed sword).

A longsword model I did ages ago for Fallout 3, but since the game had not 2 handed sword animations I scaled it down and used as one handed, though IIRC some guys later modified it either for Fallout New Vegas or Skyrim.

Digital greymoor collector edition includes Exclusive outfit style conversions: Swordthane. Outfit looks awesome and im looking to get it. Now is conversion same thing as motif chapter? Are you able to craft gear in Swordthane style? Is the motif available through gameplay?

I would appreciate any information on the matter. Thanks in advance!

Getting back lost FPS

I made some significant changes to how ESO runs and either that or Update 25 has resulted in a significant reduction in FPS.

The major change I made was that I moved the ESO install from my HDD to a SSD. The SSD is the same drive that contains Windows 10 and has about 110 GB free after ESO was installed. I assumed this would be either an improvement to game performance or, at worst, neutral. But while the change has happily reduced my load screen times (was at 2-3 min to load into Rimmen, now 20 seconds...love it) I've also seen reduction in FPS.

In general, I used to see 80-100 fps in towns and when solo. I would see it go as low as 60 FPS in big PVE fights or really crowded areas in towns. Now, I'm seeing FPS hovering at 60 most of the time and as low as 25 in towns. The most notable drop was Craglorn. Just farming resources, I've typically been at 80 FPS but last night I was never above 50 and spent a lot of time below 25.

I know U25 promised an increase in FPS so I can only assume that moving ESO to my SSD had something to do with this major performance hit. Or U25 did the exact opposite of what it was advertised to do -- which wouldn't surprise me a bit given ZOS' track record.

Is the SSD the problem? Is there anything I can do to get back those lost FPS? They were there two days ago!

Battlegrounds Solo queuing only

I can't believe Zos decided to only give the option to solo queue for battlegrounds after all the feedback on the PTS forum threads.

Would it of really hurt them to have two queue's?

Sure the grouping queue might take much longer to get matches, but this is an MMO first and foremost.

People would not of minded waiting if it meant they could play alongside their loved ones.

To me it's madness that you can no longer group with your partner or best friend in a game that is all about teamwork.

I would like to think most people would agree with me on this that Zos should of allowed for both queuing types.

I really hope in the next few weeks we see this get resolved.

I have clean installed, reinstalled, repaired numerous times, updated add ons , deleted all user settings and restored them to default, nothing.is.working.

Hi all,
So im currently farmin vMA, on a magicka sorc and havent so far managed to stay on The leaderboard for that extra reward.
Im in The process of levelling a few alts with The goal of geting onto leaderboards for classes that are easier.

As DK and warden seems to be The leaderboards with The least competition i started levelling a magicka DK. Im at lvl 30 now and started thinking about what gear to aim for. So far im thinking Grothdaar and elfbane as The new change seem fun. Im quite tired of farming MS and FG for my magickatoons so id like to switch that up.

So my question is this, would a elfbane build be viable for vMA you think? What sets would you combine it with? (Toon is darkelf, slowly getting allergic to bretons).

Streak and convert spamming is a huge issue plaguing this game

Players constantly spam streak and convert, abilities that are in themselves overpowered for the cost. Streak is a huge aoe, hard CC, does decent damage, is a gap closer that requires no target, meaning it works as both an offensive and defensive ability and is used by stamina (the same reason petrify had a huge cost increase), the current 50% increase in cost is not enough, the ability should have a cost increase of 100% every time it is cast out of cooldown and the base cost increased by 1k. Likewise on Convert, the Ability is too often spammed, remove the channel from this ability as well as the instant resource return and make it like siphoning/leeching strikes, giving the full resources at the end or throughout then time of the buff. This would help improve sorc sustain in PVE and stop the spamming of a poorly balanced ability.

INB4 “SoRc NeRf ThReAd”, most people are bandwagon meta hopping petsorc players anyway, as its virtually unseen out of a zerg when its not the best solo class.

Ok, other than MagDks, who are getting some nice goodies, what class is looking to benefit this time around? From those that have tested is it what many of us hope and is it pretty even all across the board or are some classes getting a gold star while others a chunk of coal (no Dk joke meant,lol)??
We are all waiting until tomorrow, or Tues for some of us, damn future anyways, but yea, just curious if ZOS has done a good job and kept things relatively even...oh sorry... Balanced.?? ;)

Theorycrafters: LA/HA Crit Damage Build Help

Theorycrafters.

I have a challenge. Actually, looking for some assistance for a LA/HA critical damage build using a Restoration staff, as the main weapon.

Other aspects, I'm looking for suggestions on are the following:

Class suggestions to generate added burst?
Class suggestions with critical damage bonus or similar benefits? Whether +SD is better than +CritDamage for the most umbrella benefits?
In-Class skills that have a better, effective burst damage baseline?

How would you go about getting your LA/HA damage to be "threatfull" after damage mitigation i.e. no wet noodles on LA/HA.

The whole concept of the build is a "dueling" style where a heal is always on the finger tip and sustainable to build burst combos with class skills or seizing the advantage boost with Minor and Major Force uptime windows, Class critical damage Bonus etc.

Also. What gear would you blend for offense, defense and sustain? I am looking for some feedback, and thank you in advance to see this idea through.

We like to meme about the devs trying to standardize everything with their spreadsheets and their big swings, but they always seem to miss a couple of things despite having all the data.

The goal of this post is to highlight some examples of ZOS' (in)consistency within simple item descriptions, specifically traits.
Note that it's not just traits, this problem surfaces everywhere: set bonuses, enchant effects, CP, skills & passives, etc.

Spelling & wording differences:
1. Training: Increase on armor vs Increases on weapons
2. Infused: effect on armor and weapons vs effectiveness on jewelry
3. Infused: again Increase on armor instead of Increases
4. Powered: healing done not capitalized vs everywhere else
5. Harmony: why not just use effectiveness?
6. Protective: reversed the order of Physical and Spell Resistance AND mentioned Resistance twice (worst offender)
7. Triune: Health bonus last instead of first like foods and set bonuses.

This is just the tip, don't get me started on set bonuses and weapon enchants. I worry about the other languages.

Oversights like this really define their managing of this game. This is an easy fix, I'll even give you the full list of all inconsistencies.

Does anyone know if those critters are affected by the event? Since I'm there doing other stuff, I've been sneaking up those little guys, but I was hoping the tame one would be twice as often as usual. I don't seem to be getting any more Alkahest/Honey either.

Did vBRP yesrerday. The last boss felt unusually tedious. His max health was 18Mil. Just checked it from wiki and it says the boss hp is 9,2Mil.

My fav armor at this point. but I dont even know where i got my shoulders and Im looking for other pieces. anyone have a clue about what they drop from and if we will ever get a motif book for this style?
