The visuals in Greymoor & Blackreach

I just spent the last two days just exploring the environment both in Greymoor and Blackreach on the PTS and I've gotta say to the Elder Scrolls Online team, out standing job! Bravo!

Solitude looks great, I was having flash backs from playing Skyrim, well done. The attention to detail is on mark! And Blackreach is absolutely stunning, you guys really out did your selves. Thanks for the effort you guys put in to this. I'm looking forward to the chapter going live, think I be calling out sick for a few days too.

NB Aspect of Terror & Morphs vs other CCs

Since we have new update incoming and currently we have a PTS, I thought it is a good moment to touch on this skill & other similar skills.

Now, I am not asking for much, but at least standardize Aspect of Terror & its morphs and remove target cap from this skill.

Other skills don't have target cap, those have way better cost-to-effect value as they also have either additional effects or bigger radius (or both), and are not "class" skill, which technically means that those should be slightly inferior to a class skills, but... like I have said - I am not asking for much.

Also, as far as I can tell, Aspect of Terror is the only AOE skill left in the game, that still has a target cap. It's morphs are pretty archaic and were not standardized too, as morphs of this skill have... bigger target cap. Yes. That is an additional effect you get, when you level up this skill....

It’s time to make all class burst heals scale off highest offensive stats.

Stamplar and stamcro are in desperate need of a reliable burst heals. Magicka is going to be dominant in the new patch because of easy access to burst healing abilities to spam while stamplar and stamcro are both stuck with rally, that I believe is not going to be nearly enough to keep them going compared to utterly overpowered radiating regeneration stacking Magicka builds will be abusing. All stam builds will get shelved for group play bc of lack of group utility and cross healing. A solution to this would be to provide stamplar and stamcro with skills comparable to cauterize it’s easier to adjust resistant flesh and honor the dead this way than to create a stamina morph and redesign half of the skill.

We are heading into sad homogenous Magicka meta and something needs to be done before patch hits live servers.

Should Vampires have Fangs and Blood Scion Form Wings?

What annoys me is Vampires are missing things. The Most Important of Course is The Fangs. What is a Vampire without Fangs. I don't think it would be too hard to add them to the models.
Come on Zenimax. I know this one thing about Blood Scion annoys @Noxavian and I agree in a way the Blood Scion is kinda underwhelming and could be better in ways and wings could help with that maybe depending on how they are done. We and him will agree on some things and disagree on other things with vampires. However I do think we both agree that Zenimax could do a lot better with Vampires. So I made this poll and you decide which should be the priority should fangs or wings be priority or both?
You decide because these two things are important to people here. Fangs definitely needed to be added to make a Proper Vampire according to me that is I think its very important. and Wings to make a Proper Vampire Lord is very Important to @Noxavian .

How to use 2 sorcerer pets in pvp? What is pets PURPOSE?

I'm confuse how to use pets.. I always saw pet sorcerer as a damage overtime buddy by your side. So in pvp pets ultimately equate to as the fight goes on. The damage over time kill a player. Well the issue I'm having is after all the DEVASTATING NERFS. As fights goes on the damage over time never kills targets. I played play sorcerer for 5 years and I'm trying to find a competitive pvp build... PET SORCERER IS IN A TERRIBLE spot. Please anyone help me with a build in pvp.

We should have understood already when that LA/HA weaving tests, ZOS trying to lower the game's overall rewarding system more to ordinary players.
Except 2-3, almost all difficult-to-acquire weapons are now rewarded to FG1 difficulty. Nothing worthy left, even tho there are still 1-2 trials remain with nice reward, I don't trust ZOS.
I won't grind for any [Snip] in this game anymore, eventually ZOS giving it to everyone. It's foolish to spend weeks & nights.

But my real question mark isn't related to screwed combat dynamics. We are promised to get an overall better game after forced to re-download it. The game was offering the same content with 30gb lower size, it's obvious your game isn't optimized and carrying legacy craps since generations, God knows even more remain. Nothing fixed.

Please @ZOS_GinaBruno focus on "real problems" instead of pissing on people's hard work to get those rewards (vMA inferno, perfect concentrated force, etc.

... I really don't understand why do you want to kill my vAS staff after grinding 1.5 months to acquire it. Why you're doing that? Want me to trust you again and now grind for another ***? To nerf it 2 weeks later I acquire it?

Forcing myself to stay with Forum Rules. But you can imagine what my inner-voice tells your combat team......

They grant you access to the enemy factions' variants of City on the Brink.

And the Drake of Blades, having been locked away if you completed the questline prior to changing factions on a different alliance, will not be able to show up and greet you.

Rather than some big to-do of an intro, let's get into it! (NOTE: the actual opening quest for this seems buggy at the moment; if a step doesn't seem to be working, some people (including myself) found it fixed itself if we exited the game completely and restarted fresh. YMMV.)

1. Start by getting the "Antiquarian's Eye" tool from the Antiquarian's Circle, located between the Bard's College and the Blue Palace in Solitude:

2. Once you've got the Eye, in order to scry something, go to your journal, to the Antiquities tab, highlight what you want to scry, and press E to scry. NOTE: if your scrying skill level is too low for an item, it won't let you scry it. If you're not in the same zone as an item, it also won't let you scry it.

3. In the scrying screen, you have (at the lowest skill level, anyway) TEN CLICKS (the meter of which is shown by the arrow) to highlight all of the shining hexes.

4. You start from the bottom center; with each click, you highlight the "patch" of connected tiles all with the same symbol. Every subsequent click must be on a "patch" of similar tiles that border the tiles you've already highlighted.

5. The more shining hexes you can highlight, the more the false digsite areas will be whittled away. If you manage to highlight them all, only one digsite area (the true one) will show up on your zone map. If you don't like how you did, you can choose to re-scry the item (step 2) and attempt it again, with (currently) no penalty.

6. You can hotkey the Eye by going to inventory to set your quickslots; one of the subcategories will be "Tools" and the Eye is there.

7. Once you're actually within the digsite area blue boundary, use the the quickslotted Eye and a blue orb will appear above your head. It sort of has a comet-tail-looking thing, and that indicates the direction to go to find the actual digsite. The digsite will look like a treasure map mound, except that it's glowing. (NOTE: sometimes no orb will appear; use the "exit completely and restart" method to fix this - again, YMMV.)

8. Once you start excavating, you have X amount of clicks (shown by that beige bar at the top - it's 75 clicks at the lowest skill level; you get more with passives) to find AND dig up the artifact. Using the augur on the right, you're essentially playing a one-boat game of Battleship to find WHERE the artifact is. Red means cold; orange means warmer, yellow = hot, green = a square containing part of the artifact itself.

9. The brush tool on the left (press W or click on it to use) is for actually digging up the artifact. Keep in mind that the more clicks you used to find it, the less clicks you'll have to dig it up. Each square contains multiple layers of dirt, so digging up a single square could take up to four clicks (from what I've found so far, anyways.) As you grow in skill level, you'll get other tools that dig up more ground per click. Once you've dug up the artifact, the rest of your clicks can be used to dig up random squares to find bonus items. It seems that even if you still have clicks left, if you dig up three bonus items, the minigame ends. In this case, I found all three bonus items, because Snugglorr the Magnificent (the lore of whom is mentioned in my signature) smiled upon me this day.

I know things are taking longer then normal. But i submitted a ticket 7 days ago i never got a automatic message in my email and i cant seem to see the ticket number but it just says waiting on agent. Just curious if something went wrong when i submitted it?

I can remember in the early days you might craft a set of gear at Level 30, 40 and VR. With the overland and dungeon sets improving, is that still the case?

Do you craft gear more often, at Level 160 or at all?

Update 26 Combat Preview

Greetings Gang!

We’d like to take a moment to share a preview of combat updates coming with Update 26 (Greymoor). The full list of changes will be revealed with the patch notes next week, but for now we’d like to provide some insight on our goals. This update is primarily focused on reinforcing itemization standards, improving quality of life for werewolves, and a few adjustments regarding PvP balance. As many of you are already aware, the team recently experimented with some significant changes to Light and Heavy Attacks. We’d like to again thank everyone who participated in the off-cycle PTS test of those changes, and remind you all that those changes will not be included with Update 26. Today, we’ll be focusing on the other changes that will be appearing next week on the PTS for Update 26.

U26 not only has Vampire updates, but Werewolf updates as well! We want to keep the “in your face” action of the Werewolf and also want to add rotation options when you’ve transformed into this ferocious form. For example, Pounce now has a follow up attack afterwards that also has an execute scaled on Bleed. We’re also making adjustments to allow buffing and debuffing to give a sense of being a pack leader. Sustain for werewolves is also something we noted needs an adjustment, so Hircine’s Bounty now has some added functionality if you’re already at full health and don’t need the heal from the ability. We believe these changes will keep the Werewolf playstyle competitive and entertaining for all players!

About a year ago, we started our standardization pass and we’re finishing that off in U26 with Monster Masks/Shoulders. Remember standards aren’t written in stone, but we now have equal measures of power and performance from these 2 piece sets; some are having their 1 piece adjusted to better suit the function of the set. Valkyn Skoria, for example, now gives Spell Penetration rather than Max Health as this is a damage-based set.

Other sets are receiving functionality adjustments (damage values, trigger conditions, cooldowns, etc.) to follow their intended functionality based on their sourcing. A good example of this is Tremorscale: enemies hit by the damaging effect of this ability are no longer snared, but instead have their Physical Resistance reduced. To help with performance, some sets are having their “chance to proc” removed and instead now have a cooldown. Again, we’ll look at Tremorscale as an example: we are removing the proc chance from this set and increasing the cooldown damage. Note that because the cooldown is increasing, the damage is also increasing.

Continuing on itemization, we are also introducing Perfected Veteran Maelstrom and Perfected Dragonstar Arena weapons. This has been a long standing request by the players, and it finally brings these two arenas up to par with others that add Perfected versions. These are earned by completing Veteran mode in each of those arenas and will have additional bonuses much like other Perfected sets. Completing Maelstrom or Dragonstar Arena will now grant Blue versions of the non-perfected weapons from these arenas. In this pass, we are making a few adjustments to ALL Arena weapons to meet standards. One example of this is the BRP weapon set Spectral Cloak: this item set now increases your damage done and reduces your damage taken whenever you deal damage with Blade Cloak, rather than granting Major Protection for 3 seconds after casting. This fits the concept of Blade cloak as it deals with damage as well as protection.

Lastly, in this update we are making some small adjustments to Critical Resistance and Healing affecting PvP specifically. Over the years, we’ve seen healing become quite volatile in PvP with the ability to negate a high amount of damage in just 1 ability cast for many players at once. This isn’t just 1 ability that causes this type of health bar swinging, so we are making adjustments to Battlespirit which now reduces healing taken by 60% instead of 50%.

Gearing up for PvP isn’t a simple task because of the need for Critical Resistance. The other issue regarding itemization in PvP is that it’s very limiting due to the need for building Critical Resistance. This means other popular traits and builds aren’t as viable in PvP unless you’re a glass cannon or top-end player. To bring more viable stat and set combinations into PvP play, we are now granting a baseline Critical Resistance. In conjunction with that change, we are making several adjustments to item sets which grant Critical Resistance. We also are making changes to the Impenetrable trait by reducing the value.

PS4 Dungeon Finder not starting a queue.

Hello,

I’m having a problem on the PS4 EU server. When I try to queue for any dungeon, random or specific I get the audio ‘click’ when I press square but it remains on ‘not queued’. If I try to join in a group it lets someone else join the queue but it will never pop. When I leave the group it works fine.

I’ve restarted my router, run a network test (NAT type 2) and restarted my PS4 completely several times but the issue persists. This has been happening since last night, before then it worked just fine.

Any suggestions?

Finally i have gotten around finishing Northern Elsweyr and moved to Southern. I really like the look of the place. Southern Elsweyr and Murkmire are my favourite zones, they look and feel really unique, like outer worldly. The quests i have done so far in Southern Elsweyr have been fun and im looking forward to finish main quest.
Southern Elsweyr is awesome. If you havent visited yet, visit it.

Noticed something in my Endless Sack of Siege and now I got questions

First off I am sorry if this was already asked and answered but I did a search and couldn't find anything from 2020. I made a template character to test a ton of things and today got to the new siege weapon. I opened the Endless Sack of Siege and my eyes were drawn to two particular things I saw.... MERCENARY CONTRACTS. Like WHAT??

Are you guys testing to see if these can come back??? Or was this an oversight when making the Endless Sack of Siege box?

Query about moving from disc to digital

Have base game with Any Race Any Alliance on disc - all other chapters etc I have are digital. After 4 + years would like to switch to all digital if poss - disc getting a bit battered!

I presume I am going to have to buy the game again (sigh) as there does not appear to be an option to just upgrade the base game.

But am I also going to have to buy Any Race Any Alliance separately? And where from, as have not seen this on sale anywhere?

Has anyone changed from disc to digital and was it easy?
