QoL for transmuting would be nice with proposed impen changes

Two main issues:
  1. We can only store 200 geodes....making it tedious having to log in and out of characters to use the geodes
  2. Currently the best farming method is to get campaign rewards.....Even as a 6 year pvp vet farming rewards on 18 toons and then waiting a month is just terrible. Some people might only have a few toons to even pvp with. By the time a player like that farms to trait change 7-14 pieces of gear we will likely be on the next patch anyways. Either add in more ways to get stones or reduce the cost of transmuting down to ~10-20 or so. As much as I like spending 2-3 days farming resource and keep ticks on 18 toons just to wait a month is painful. If it is painful for me i can imagine it is worse for players that are newer and trying to set up multiple toons with gear.

Will a Developer Please Contribute to Dialogue About the Update 21 Wood Elf Racial Change?

It has been almost a year and a half since you cited your “core mantra of the game -- freedom,” as a notable factor behind the Update 21 racial changes. Will you please, finally, take the time to listen to and respond to the Wood Elf racial change that directly contradicted your mantra?

You said that you wanted to “expand the horizon for choice” and “present players with a self-reflecting question of ‘What is my playstyle or ideal build?’” You claimed that you wanted to “provid[e] options” that would help players answer that question.

Before Update 21, Gilliam, many Wood Elf players had already self-reflected and asked themselves what their playstyle and build would be. Many of those playstyles consisted of lore-friendly sneakiness and/or thievery. But, your decision to remove the reduced detection radius passive from Wood Elf racial skills had the opposite effect of your well-intended goal of providing options and freedom. Instead, you reduced options for existing players who already had a gameplay style, and took some freedom away from those players. You made sneaking harder for Wood Elves, which not only contradicted lore, but also pushed players who sought to maintain their existing playstyle into equipping specific item sets to try to get back some of what you took away. You reduced build freedom, and went against your mantra.

After almost a year and a half, will you please contribute to dialogue about the contradictory nature of your words and actions regarding Bosmer racial changes from Update 21? I know that you once placed a high value on communication in this forum. You once wrote, about a combat update:

I know it brings a lot of flak, and it's definitely easy to focus on the negative, but please continue doing this. I hope you still feel this way, because some of us have been advocating for a return of original Bosmer sneaking for quite some time, and would welcome discussion about how it would fit nicely into your "core mantra of the game -- freedom."

Swarming Scion's (Vampire Ultimate) Wings

I was all for somewhat improving the "shadow wings" of the pre-PTS vampire ultimate's bat morph, but removing the wings completely? for me it kinda takes away from the fantasy of being a vampire lord, so what do you guys think?
Shadow wings? (like pre-PTS)
Bat-like wings? (similar to DK, gargoyle, or pre-PTS wings but without opacity)
Wing stumps? (like regular Vampire Lords?)
or No wings at all?

The Vampire/Werewolf Cure should be more costly or harder and require an actual quest.

One thing that has bothered me about Eso's Vampire and Werewolf Cure is its to easy. Go up to this priest hand him a very small amount of gold and bam cure.
This has always bothered me now they are making this priest more convient. Can you please Zenimax make it a lot more costly.
Cure on the crown store is 800 crowns. Crown rate I think is 200 gold per crown. 800 x 200= 160000 So to get it from a player would cost 160000 gold. Now maybe not that high. But no less then 90k It should be 90k to cure Vampirism and Lycanthropy. There should be a cost to it that requires work to cure. Cure shouldn't be as easy and lore wise its not easy to cure. It should be high enough cost that most that go to him for a cure would turn him away most vampires and lycanthropes. Because 90k shows commitment for cleaning up. So can you please make it more expensive. Not only for immersion but also lore.
It isn't hard to get 90k either but might take some questing, stealing and other things like selling items and next chapter the antiquities system.

:edit the cost is just one way they can do it. Its the lazy way but they need to be true to the lore that these conditions are not just something a priest can cure. They need to find something to make it much more meaningful or Lore Friendly. One way is to make it so you have to go this place and fight your way to a pool with Purge Salts and bath in it. So making it a quest like the vampire and werewolf quests. Another is alchemy having to find ingredients for it and then have to get a special one from a cave somewhere around Tamriel. Another method is to make it so you can go to a special npc to cancel it out with the other condition. Whether going to a Witch to going to a pool of purge salts to anything. I don't care I want a better lore friendly not so easy cure. Something only a adventuring vampire or lycanthrope can do but other lycanthropes or vampires couldn't as easily. As it would be very difficult for them even.
So that is something I do want a better cure that is more costly or harder.

Awful ping + lag spikes

Ever since I resubbed a week ago, I've had far worse than usual ping and pretty bad lag spikes. Whereas I am able to get 30ish ms in every other online game I play, I am stuck with 110 at lowest here. This was irritating enough before the other day when I started very frequently getting spikes of 999+,regardless of the time of day or what I'm doing in game. I checked other games again to make sure my network wasn't unstable, and they were still fine so it's definitely just ESO. What gives?

About champion's points and support on Battlegrounds

Hello guys! I have a quastion and sentence about champion's points and champion's medals that u get after fight on Battlegrounds. I have long noticed, that healers (supports) despite of their player-skill get very small score on leaderboard unlike those who just damage or those who just do last hit. And this score is SO SMALL for healing, that u lose your desire to be pvp heal (supp). But we know, that support very often do MAIN work in team and thanks to them DDs can easy fight and do their job very effectively which ultimately leads to victory team. And in the end, the presence of support makes the game more interesting, but if support take SO SMALL score on leaderboard - lost meaning to play for support.

I suggest increase the number of medal points for healing, it will be rightly.

P.S. I attach screenshots, when u see, that i gave healing like first DD damage but i have not so much points and score on leaderboard like DD.

Do not run AWAY from your healer

If you drop low on health, running away from the healer is a bad idea because the healer can't chase you down and stop you from dying. If you run away, either you're going to get killed anyway or the team will see your healer has been left stranded and they will pile on him/her and kill them. Eventually, your healer will get sick of trying to heal you while you kite him/her and start playing selfishly or quit. If you're not sure if your team has a real healer or not, check before you decide fleeing is the best strategy. I've lost too many BGs because people acted as if there was no healer on the team.

Seems that frame rates are dropping and lag spikes are crazy right now on ps4 NA server. I'll check on the EU shortly and give feedback too. Been like it all morning, but now it's peaking and is SHOCKINGLY bad.

Tested my internet, and all is fine with that - and both my wife and I are experiencing the same problem (wired and wireless both tested). It's like watching a stop capture motion movie... soon as I've checked EU, I'll report back - but probably going to have to skip further playing until it's resolved.

4D completed the trifecta tonight. I have lots of feedback to give if a dungeon developer would like to message me privately.
I hope this is not the final version of the trial, as it is kind of sad that the trifecta achievement was achieved on the PTS.

Also the memento we get as a reward is awful. Please change it to something else like a costume, polymorph, skin or mount

The Rubber Vampire Scion of Lamae

Ahhhh yes, this again…

So Skyrim’s Vampire Lord resembles Marcus from Underworld. We all know this, and most I believe, like that.
The ‘chicken wings’ people currently mock, were not so useless for old Marcus when he sliced and diced heads in half (Now think of the Blood Scion ultimate casting eviscerate and slicing enemies with it’s wings).
The design of the Blood Scion is lacking, not for all, but perhaps for most. The Vampire Lord NPCs we face, look better than the thing we transform into;

Let’s face it, the lore is rushed for this one. Lamae comes up with her own version of a Vampire Lord, so that we can have something to (*cough), rival the Vampire Lord. Some players have suggested it is not possible to go down the path of a pact with Molag Baal, because we have faced his hordes and opposed his schemes. I consider this the very justification for our worthiness in receiving the dark gift, though not necessarily from him direct. Our character has more than proved how capable we are to serve Molag Baal as something more than a mere minion, and he gets to think he won in the end, by corrupting us to his side, so to speak. It is a shame that the Vampire Turning Quest was not something more along these lines, allowing us to then adopt the Vampire Lord form, in place of this abomination (In terms of design) created by Lamae, a Vampire who hates Molag Baal.

This will always come down to personal preference and I’m sure many are fed up with it as a topic of discussion. My only hope is that the Dev Team consider that there are other ways to approach this for the many who are disappointed with the Blood Scion design, when comparing it to all the promotional images of Vampire Lords related to the Greymoor DLC. We see what we will face off against, not what we will become. The Vampire Lord, looks the business, the Blood Scion just…..doesn’t.

You already have the model of the Vamp Lord NPC. Use that!
Alter the quest to reflect a pact with Molag Baal, or an NPC Vamp Lord who received the dark gift through Baal.
Make use of those wings, with visual animations during combat, where the Vamp lord slices and dices using them.

Oh and helloooo, Vamp Flying Mount option. Transform outside settlements into Vamp Lord form to hover fly with flappy wings in place of a mount, and be force-transformed back upon entering areas where you would be committing an illegal action, with an invisibility timer so that guards don’t see your ultimate form.

How about changing the mist ability into Bat transformation, so you fly around as bats like the previous Vamp ultimate and get a more visually interesting ability than becoming an ethereal cloud. That way, we again move closer to what we saw in the trailers, becoming a bat swarm. We already become invisible through sprinting, so there’s no real need for another kind of invisbility, when we can become Bats and see something funky during combat.

I appreciate what the Devs have tried to do and I am very excited for the Greymoor expansion, but the Vamp Ultimate leaves much to be desired in terms of design. They tried to create something different and that’s admirable, but falls short of what has come before and what we will see facing us during combat, as we take on the form of the Rubber Vampire Scion of Lamae.

Should Blood Frenzy be replaced by a better Vampiric Ability?

I've seen some talk about this, and I have to agree with them. What is the purpose of Blood Frenzy? Why is it criminal act? Doesn't look like one to me not only that but no cool visuals no obvious blood bursting out of you. There is nothing cool about this ability, It takes your health its a risky skill to use and your sacrificing precious life blood. For a temp boost in damage.
The name of it should be called Blood Martyr and Kamikaze as the name of the one morph.
So what better ability could we have gotten?
A Bat Teleport, Where you can teleport behind a foe after turning into mist, and doing flanking damage or something.
Vampiric Grip- Grabbing an enemy from the ground and crushing them with telekinesis. Darth Vader Style.
I mean anything would be better then this ability.
So should they replace it with a Bat gap closer or teleport, or Vampiric Grip or something other?
Because man this ability is just a game of Tamriel Roulette and not only that its a lousy looking ability that has terrible story telling to it. Makes Vampires look like some kamikaze crazed fighters.It really is doesn't feel vampiric at all. Would be a better ability for a nightblade, assassin, samurai, ninja type of character then as a vampire ability.

My concern as a solo Magplar player with healing being reduced

With healing being reduced by 60% now, I'm trying to figure out how I'll adjust seeing as I was always running a very squishy build and relying on healing through damage. I do play both PVE and PVP but I'm more concerned on the PVP side.

Some players are tanky enough to endure a lot of damage but my build has never been. I've never been able to make much use of damage shields because my max magicka wasn't high enough to get a good shield and the Templar shield scales off of max health. I used two one-piece monster sets to help (1 Pirate Skeleton + 1 Lord Warden), but those are being nerfed in the next patch. Now I will be even more reliant on my ability to heal through damage. In preparation, I've completely dropped the defensive monster set pieces and I'm going to try to increase my healing power. I'm sitting at around 1600 in resistance now.

With healing being reduced by 60% under Battle Spirit, it feels like my one strong area as a Magplar is being crippled. I'm not against reducing healing overall but the Templar identity was pretty much healing. Puncturing Sweeps, the magicka morph, heals as it's secondary effect but it was already being countered by Major Evasion - with the reduced healing it's going to be even more dangerous for ME to use this skill in melee range against someone spamming Dizzy Swing or using the 2H ultimates. That doesn't sound like it'll be worth the risk at all.

Groups are still going to have players healing each other, it's just going to be the solo players that suffer and solo Magplars that suffer even more because healing was our strong suit. I'm going to need some help here, I'm afraid. Either cut Templar healing some slack before the nerfs take effect or maybe give us a class shield (Radiant Ward) that scales off of magicka (because that would be more useful than the Light Armor shield to mitigate damage, in my opinion). We're already slow as hell. Without great healing, what do Magplars have left?

Sup peeps,

With the upcoming update to Werewolf, it got me to thinking that now WW can tank with a proper taunt, this may make more content viable as an all WW group. For anyone as yet unaware, as well as some WW buffs, some sets are being updated, namely this one:

The update will add gap closers to the 5pc bonus, so the WW gap closer will also taunt. It may not be meta and I am sure there are plenty of groups who have run lots of content as x4WW, but for fun I thought I would throw the matter out to the community to see what folks think... (mainly interested in pve content)

-What sets would you pair with Tormentor to create a more bona fide WW tank?

-What sets would you use to make as close to a WW healer/support we can?

-We may assume that for dps a meta WW build can be used, but do you have other ideas?

-Would you go with 2 dedicated dps, with a tank and some kind of healing/support? What group make up would you go with?

Ive thought about it a bit and have some ideas but Id love to also hear what others think. Bottom line, I think running a x4WW group could be really good fun :) How would you go about making the best set up...

Seemed the DB and TG event usually took place around this time of the year, I know it stood in for a cancelled event last year due to tech issues, but just wondering if it is planned in the near future? o:)

Saw someone mention this somewhere but what if the health recovery and non-vampire ability cost increases went away during the night time? After the last "major" change to vampires they reduced the day/night cycle from 50/50 to 75/25. Only 25% of an in game day is considered nighttime so it wouldn't be a very long lasting "buff" to them and they'd still have to contend with flame damage and fighter's guild abilities.

Now this could be a bad idea because there are people who love to min/max who will avoid playing their vampire characters during the day, and it would make them much harder to kill in PVP during the night. What do you all think about this idea? Would it fit in ESO or would it seriously mess with the balance of the game?

With the world being so stressful our guild offers a moment of calm. It caters to those who don’t usually get a lot of space in gaming community and those, who don't like the pressure that usually comes with MMO games. Our focus is early to midgame PvE - normal dungeons, normal trials, occasional veteran dungeon - and whatever else you'd like to try. Beginners are very welcome, we'll help with anything that we can! We offer a stress-free start into the group content, so if you always wanted to try it, but were a bit stressed about it - we're the perfect place!
We do not do endgame content, so if you're a veteran that has done most of it, we're not the best match.

We're a "no-pressure" guild, which means you play the game however you like - be social and join events if you feel like it, or don't, if you're too tired. We'll be here for you when you feel more social. We'll always help with things, be it crafting, taking down world bosses or clearing public dungeons. If we go to a group dungeon together, we'll explain mechanics calmly and as clearly as it's needed. We are always happy to help!

Important note: in this guild we play for fun, and fun only. Sometimes we run trials without full groups, some don't wear optimised gear, sometimes we go fishing only to end up throwing mudballs and dancing in Elden Root. If we wipe, we laugh, rezz and go again, then laugh some more. We do not strive to be perfect. But that doesn't mean we don't KNOW how to play the game - we do. Some of us have done end game, vet trials, dungeon challanger achievements. This isn't supposed to sound harsh, but we've had players come play with us only to try and teach us how to do it. If you want to always do everything "properly" and get upset easily if something doesn't go the way it's "supposed to", or want to teach us how to play the game - consider another guild. We're not a place where that will fly. Here we relax and have fun, in a perfectly non-perfect way.

Our numbers aren’t big, but consist only of the nicest and kindest individuals. We are a lot more like a little family than a regular guild - always supporting each other, and having fun while playing the game. Critical Rate and Critical Damage Glyphs!

So we have Spell/Weapon Damage, Magicka/Stamina/Health Recovery and Cost Reduction Glyphs for Jewelry. Also have Spell/Weapon Damage and Stamina/Magicka/Health Recovery Glyphs for Weapons...

When are we going to get Critical Rate/Damage Glyphs for Jewelry and Weapons?, it can open more building options for sure.

Also penetration on Jewelry can be interesting too, since we already have those Glyphs on Weapons.
