Siege of Cyrodiil Merit - what's the cooldown?

Hi folks. The daily Imperial City quests and getting the Siege of Cyrodiil Merit medals....... is the cooldown 20 hours from last hand-in, or does it reset overnight - or is it just broken?

I saw some posts from 2019 (you remember 2019, when we could all go outside and when toilet rolls and pasta were available in shops) but there was no clear answer. That's 2019 for you. We were so young back then....... Those were the days!

Just wondering if anyone knows for sure? @ZOS_GinaBruno or maybe @ZOS_JessicaFolsom could confirm for me if you'd be so kind?

Alliance change token issue?

Hi there,

So I've used an Alliance change token to move an AD character to DC. I made sure that no other AD characters were in Cyrodiil or homed to the main campaign. However, after using the token, it did change my faction and placed me in the major city as advertised, however it still states the campaign is locked for a further 27 days to AD.

Is this normal while the 12 hour wait occurs? or is this broken?

Inventory & Bank space

So I bring this up again because it has not been addressed by any Devs.
i really can't understand how is it that new stuff comes out(like this new chapter), more blue prints, more furnishing, more gear sets, different meta builds but you don't even think about giving the option to keep upgrading bank and inventory space. Maybe not everybody needs it but there are a lot of us that like theory crafting, trying out new builds with different traits, etc but we simply don't have enough bank space to manage without having to logout and login 24 times to different characters to move items. I would really love to hear what the devs have to say about this. I mean is there any argument at all against adding new bank space or inventory space? They have been asking for this for many months. It should be standard that if you guys add new stuff to the game you should automatically add more space.

Potential Dragonbreak in ESO's timeline

The activation of Amulet of Kings, the Staff of Towers, and the Mask of Akatosh are enough to constitute a Dragon break, not to mention the deactivation of the Crystal tower and the White-Gold tower (notice all took place except for in Morrowind and Greymoor chapter). When the Scalebreaker dlc was released the devs mentioned we would start to see the pieces of the puzzle being put together. Selene was used for Lair of Maarselok and many including myself thought of this in a linear story, with older npcs playing a future roll, but what if this wasn't the case?

Remember what Augar of Obscure said about dragon breaks? What if selene's soul was captured before she was defeated in her web? In the Summerset chapter the player goes around sealing time breeches all over Tamriel without reason, most of which are in important areas of the base game. If these aren't already enough to indicate the breaking of time, the player (any player) can start anywhere in the game making for non linear events and infinite in realities. But what really got my attention is the new cinematic, The Nord hero is underground about to be attacked by werewolves, gives Lyris his axe and draws his sword. The same sword he leaves in the ground after pulling the elf hero from the rubble in the first trailer for the game. Where is the Nord hero first seen? Underground killing werewolves.

The Ashen Lord (bad guy of Greymoor chapter) is currently trying to free his teammate's souls from Coldharbour and with the Prophet almost guaranteed to return the stage is set for a potential looping of the ESO story. Instead of killing off the bad guy this time around, there might be a reason to assist him by going to Coldharbour to cause a soul burst (possibly making base game ESO take place after the chapters). Then the player wakes up in Morrowind (or anywhere) and the story starts all over again.

When the player is given their soul after defeating Molag Bal, Meridia tells the player the events taken place actually workout in favor of Molag Bal's plans. This could be referring to the endless looping of time and endless torment of souls from the Dragon break created by the soul burst.

If this is the case the only thing that can save Tamriel (and I can not believe I am typing this) is Sheogorath. The return of Jyggalag.


Do you feel that there should be more (practical or otherwise) reasons to visit your house?

Greetings,

having everyone hanging 24/7 in their homes would suck the life of every city, therefore I can't see them putting ways to collect/finish writs in the house. But what about smaller things, or more flavorful if you will? Example: some type of rested XP (extra bonus perhaps if you "sleep" with the player you're married to) put those beds to good use! Some kind of other buff from a decorative item, be it food, instrument, sitting near the hearth etc. (stacks with food/drink), have your own blood slave as a vampire, coffins decreasing vampire stage, a way to use wayshrines directly from within the house, gardening, last but not least, unique quests given by NPC's you've recruited or something like that.

These are just some silly ideas from the top of my head. So, if you like the idea, please, do share yours!

Game freezes/stutters after getting xp/killing mobs! PLEASE FIX THIS ALREADY

Greymoor - my first big update in ESO. WORST update.
I'm playing ESO for 3 weeks now, I got used to high ping and server lags + tons of bugs. I had to wait 3 days for you to fix a bug with main quest (light from darkness), I guess it's somehow excusable.
BUT!
HOW can you not fix problem that literally takes every fun from this game? How it's still a thing after a week? How it's still not fixed after yesterday's patch? After 4 hour break?
Please look at this and tell me how am I supposed to enjoy this game.

Oh wait, you don't know what's happening? Let me tell you!

As you can see on videos - game becomes slide show while killing mobs.
From my observations:
For game to stutter mob(s) has to die - the more the more visible it is.
You need to get xp from these mobs.
There is not a single stutter/freeze/lag whatever you call it before any mob die.
It doesn't matter whether you are attacking, using abilities, jumping from window or destroying your monitor, as long as your character see mobs dying and you are getting xp it happens.
Before greymoor update everything was fine, now game besides battleground is just unplayable, I can't even lvl up my character.
AND NO
THIS IS
NOT A PROBLEM
WITH MY COMPUTER
DO NOT TELL ME
TO REINSTALL MY DRIVERS
TO REPAIR GAME
TO REINSTALL GAME
TO CHECK IF IT'S NOT MY EYES THAT ARE LAGGING
I did everything, from downloading newest drivers, reinstalling game to turning off every single addon.
I even changed my fps cap from 100 to 240 to see if it changes anything - no.
Please acknowledge it's on your side and fix this before you lose any players.
And yes, it's not just me, my friend has the same exact problem and from what I have seen on forum some people do too.

In case you didn't realize it yet - it's not a problem with fps or performance. Something in your game is just broken.

PLEASE DO NOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT PATCH/UPDATE TO FIX THIS. IT REALLY DOES MAKE THE GAME UNPLAYABLE FOR SOME PEOPLE.

I'm sorry for offensive appearance of my thread but I really did believe in you fixing it in yesterday's update. I was waiting to be able to play the game I'm paying for.

Western Skyrim Wayshrine Change

The impracticality of virtually all the wayshrines in Western Skyrim is very annoying. One needs quite some time to reach various points in the middle of the map, more so for the Harrostorm Events.

However, there is not a single wayshrine on the entire northern coast of the zone. Yet Deepwood Vale and Dragon Bridge wayshrines are very close to each other, i attempted to show this on the map as well as maybe move the Deepwood Vale wayshrine to the North, what do you think? can we make this happen? you moved Deshan's wayshrine back in late 2014 from outside the city to inside the city walls.

Simple Battleground discussion

Lets keep it simple so that every can follow it:
- full group que is unbalanced towards players that prefer to play solo bgs
- solo que is unbalanced towards players that prefer teamplay bgs
->2 solo players + 1 duo team battleground que is balanced towards teamplay and solo battleground players

There i found a solution for your battleground fiasco ZOS team. Now give it a try next after 4 months of solo que only and almost killing of the entire battleground community!

Al Esh Ascension Coin Lead not showing up?

The spreadsheet said it can be found on a cabinet on the top floor of the Antiquarians's Circle, but I have all Antiquarian achievements and I don't see anything. Another guildie said they were standing right beside it, but nothing was showing up for me. So is it some sort of other achievement- or quest- related gate? Or is it not instanced, meaning if someone else picks it up after it spawns, I can't? Or does it have to do with possibly-existing cooldowns on acquiring gold leads?

Before anyone asks, no, I haven't already done this lead, so it's not that.

So I figured since we're all going to be hunting down leads for the antiquities system, it makes sense to have a handy-dandy central location to see where the various leads can be found and what they're for. So with that said, if you find a lead, can you please post:

- What the item is, and its lead colour (green/blue/purple/gold/orange)
- Where and how you found it


In addition, if WHERE you found it is different from what's listed here, please post that info anyway; it will help us determine if a lead is (for instance) only found on one particular WB vs. any WB in the zone. As well, if a lead is for a PIECE of something - like the wolf mount, or one of the mythic items - please state what item it's for as well.

Greetings,

Kind reminder: ESO is a online game, and you play online games cos this way you can have fun with your FRIENDS.

The opinions about "premades are OP" is ridiculous. How can anyone say he/she lost cos of a premade group? Its also a possibility in the enemy team there was just simple 2 dude who knew what to do for 10 minutes. Even if it was a premade maybe in the next turn that 2 dude will be with you... (and you will still loss)

When I play bg together with my bro, or wife yes... its a big advantage that we can talk... and we usually talk about food, dark matter, or philosophy. Since there is NO competitive leader board we are all here to just have fun. IS IT RLY MATTER THAT MUCH TO THE BLAMERS TO ABSOLUTELY RUIN OTHERS GAME? And the developers follow that lead?
In Cyrodiil we can not play "1-2 fast run" to have fun. In a 30v30 fight there is no self-fulfillment. We, and a lot of other players we just simple dont like Cyrodiil kind of fights. Sometimes its fun, but its not battleground. Its just an open world in a open world.

If i loss cos of a real "premade" I loss. I will win next time... or after that... who cares? There is no global leader board, no win/loss ratio... it absolute doesnt matter. If I loss cos 3-4 random dude having fun together its great. Good for em! I also like to play with my friends. Maybe in the next run the enemy "premade" will be unbelievable bad, and I will win. Its also an option. Its not a problem, its not a big deal, but the developers shouldn't throw away the group que option as a "ballance"... we all know losing is a part of the game, and we all know its not ballance. ITS JUST MAKES THIS GAME LESS, AND LESS.
I want to play in a world what is increasing, and not in one what is slowly disappearing cos of hate.

MORE IMPORTANT:

In this unique ESO 4v4v4 system WHO CARES if there is a premade group, or team or whatever? There will be 2 winner, and 1 loser. If cos of ANY reason you believe: "Ohh damn its a premade AGAIN!" than just change strategic and in that round fight for the 2. place. Strategy is a important part of the BG. If you are in a third place a lot of time in a 4v4v4 you should start to think about how to improve your character.

SUGGESTIONS:

If cos of any reason the developers believe premade groups are the problems here is 2 idea:

- Allow only maximum 2 man groups to join together, and create teams with a maximum of 1 2man group in each team.
or
- Create totally separated group que. (the waiting time would be longer, but if that is the only price it still worth it)

I hope soon the developers will say something about this. If there will be group que its good. If not its very sad, but it would be good to know what to expect. Playing with an online game where u can not play with your friends...

I was social banned randomly no zone spam, not notification no nothing, havnt been able to talk in game now for 3 days going on 4 opened a support ticket but the response time has been very slow. I cant help people farm for gear or help out groups right now as im just taking up a set of drops i have no use for, would appreciate any help you could provide thanks!

new trading system ? every single player deserves to sell his items trough guild trader

Maybe it's time to open again this topic: is the existing trading system ok? There are only few kiosks which cannot satisfy anymore the needs of numerous guilds and players. There are many guilds with many members who cannot afford to win guild traders for insane prices , but they have many items in their guild stores for better prices than other traditional guilds, so the sellers and buyers can take the benefit of this hidden and blocked market. There are many new or casual players waiting to be accepted in trading guilds, but they are not accepted, so they go in small guilds. This trading system is not anymore enough for this growing community. Any single player deserve a guild with a guild trader or a central auction house. Everybody has the right to sell his items, not only the "smart and dedicated" players who are accepted in top guilds.

I personally think it's unfair to those of us who love housing but cant for reasons do vet trials. I can honestly say that after playing eso for many years ive yet to meet more than just a couple of endgamers that are into housing. They are rare.

I did my master angler and got 1 small boat for my months of working on achieve back in the day and now one of the best boats in the game is closed to us fishy folk that dont do vet trials and most of the housing community.

I love greymoor and was wanting to do the normal trial but i cant do vet....😢😢😢😢so will never get access to the nord boat.

I am very gratefull for the expansion so im not here to bash anything or anyone that does do vet endgame...if you can do it awesome i admire you honestly i do .

Solo was already difficult and now even harder thanks to healing nerfs, these of course don’t effect large groups and zergs because healing was already ridiculously abundant and this in turn encourages large group play even more so. There really needs to be some downsides to large group play, of which there currently is nearly none other than bombing (something large groups do and have counters to anyway). Im not saying solo should be easy, it should be the contrary, however thanks to off cross healing, defensive ults and the ability to simply hold block till the zerg comes to the rescue, it makes even incredibly easy to kill 1 combo players turtle up and wait for their group to save the day. This combined with how easily a group can all drop single target ults on 1 person, makes even the worst lightning heavy attack spamming zergling pump out some formidable DPS.

I think the fix is to change healing and ult gain to a pool of stats rather than a flat value to all IN PVP . A 24 man group shouldn’t generate 300 ult in total for all getting a light attack on one person they are zerging down, 1 remembrance shouldn’t be able to pump out 250k+ of healing a second for all targets they are healing, a group of templars shouldn’t receive 10k healing a second each for stacking their circles. It’s ridiculous how difficult solo and small scale is with ZOS making it harder, whilst large group play only gets easier and more practical. There definitely needs to be a cooldown on resurrection spamming, each interrupt should gain a debuff stopping you from being able to resurrect for 10 seconds, stop making interrupt a CC, using an immovable and being able to place a forward camp , resurrect another player or sit in meditate without be able to be interrupted is ridiculous, reduce the benefits of mindless stacking, make healing challenging and rewarding, bring some skill back to PvP and encourage small scale in a game thats currently is a sheer who has the greater numbers battle of the zergs.

We are focusing on game performance improvements, and monitoring PvP Battlegrounds activity and feedback. If we do consider reintroducing group queueing for PvP Battlegrounds in the future, we’ll let everyone know.

Q: Last year Battlegrounds became Soloqueue. Is this permanent, or temporal?
A: We are still evaluating it. We havent seen a marked improvement. We didnt see a large change in player numbers. (Slight Improvement). We are still talking about it.
If we let players choose we would fragment the queues, and Battlegrounds wouldnt match up anymore. We are still in the evaluation process.

As I stated before in these forums, it was a big change disguised as a "experiment". No "experiment" ever goes live in any mmorpg unless it was meant to be introduced. Now we can finally understand that a big part of the community kinda got s*** on. How can you "consider" putting back something when it's supposed to be an "experiment". Shouldn't it be directly " Will" be putting it back?

I admit though, using words like "soon" "if" "consider" "maybe" "future" is a good way to keep the hopeful players hopes up so they can stay. It's just a way to put a community down in a more subtle matter. I felt like i got done dirty after reading that post. Oh the crowns i kept getting, sad life, what a waste, the game was so good when I joined. It was so refreshing to play from games like WoW where they completely dumbed it down, and made it so a toddler can fiddle with it.

But I digress.

Well at least they finally admitted there stance for Elder Scroll 6, which was just ELDER SCROLL OFFLINE! That I can respect, rather than checking every patch notes from then to now to see if they would revert what they did, I finally got my answer. - Obviously a joke, I'm hoping, and praying ES6 is an amazing game, but I already know they are going to hit it hard with "creation club" it's going to be a dope vr game.

But it's not a problem, I will continue my support for ZOS especially when they finally realize that games were meant to be fun, and there will always be sore losers at the end of the day, and I guess that would be me hoping I could play with friends and family. I just hope they work out these "performance improvements" and "experiments" .

You had a good game ZOS, but as far as I can see, the freedom to build, create, and make your character as you wish will go away soon just as simple features like this does. I would be foolish not think i'll have interesting things like CP, or the ability to learn all the skill lines I have right now due to "performance changes". Introducing Ranked would have just been a better feature all in all, and have the old que back for people who just want to run around without organization and test things.

I still have High Hopes for ESO devs, i'm looking forward to try those greymoor, or other future expansion features when they finally decide to return group play. Guess I'll get to partake in them some day.

These are just my opinions, and interpretations of what is happening, and nothing more, but the spokesperson finally gave there stand on the game, and now I can finally rest. So in hopes in following there trend of making ESO a place where everyone can be equal I'll leave a link to my idea on another thread. To help further there agenda to making the game much progressive place where everyone can feel safe.
