Should ZOS add an additional free crown crate to the ESO+ Package?

This is in response to a thread I made a while back. I thought it would be more productive to create a poll.

I think adding a free crown crate to the ESO+ package would a cost efficient way for ZOS to increase ESO+ sales and to make collectibles with the crown germs more purchasable.

I also think it would be a good idea to make the free crown crate a reward for reoccurring subscribers to incentivize people to stay subbed. However, I am open to both ideas. It would probably be less confusing to just make it a permanent addition to the package.

It would encourage crown crate sales as people saved and approached items they want, and it would make the ESO+ package more appealing.

On top of this, I think it would be a good way to replace something we lost when the ESO+ rewards program was taken away. Players who subscribe will now once again have a chance at limited and unique collectibles through there subscription. I honestly really liked the rewards program but, this would be an easy way to mitigate an incentive we lost that I think should be present.

Once again just to be clear. We are talking about adding a single crown crate to the current benefits. NOT, replacing our current benefits with a crown crate...

What do you think people? Please leave your reasoning if you can.

So months ago I buyed TESO but I can't play due to my DX version, I will change my computer but I wanna play the game until I change my computer.
There's any way to play this game with a lower version of Directx?

Could we please have a Zombie polymorph or bring back 'mudball' quest or add a exploding corpse item like a retooled 'mystery meat' Mementos. I'm a bit disappointed that we can't use the last festivals cauldron for just the caped skeleton effect.

Against my better judgment, I will give this one last go. I believe that, for the most part, the discussions have been fun and enjoyable. I feel that I've gotten to know some people on other factions a bit, and it is cool being killed by someone you recognize! :) Anyway, let's stick to talks of builds, funny stories (like the time I got jumped by 8 AD as I rode across the bridge and they bashed me to death as I fell out of my chair laughing), map strategy, which in game snacks you prefer, and of course... Ice trebs.

The Howling Sepulchers and Runt the Wolf Pup

Has anyone been able to reunite Runt to Kayla and the rest of their wolf pack? I kill all of the harpies in Runt's path but then the pup just gets bugged out and goes back and forth from one spot to the another. I was looking forward to getting the character title Savior of Runt.

I feel like on my Magicka DK, I end up with a lot of downtime between abilities. I try clicking to weave a light attack in between each ability (mostly the whip, but it feels like that animation takes foooreeeeveeeer), but sometimes it just doesn't work, and light attacks are never very high on my end-of-fight report on Combat Metrics. My DPS right now (with atrociously traited gear, 5 BSW, 5 silks, and 1 kena) is like 16k. I run regen glyphs on jewelry to get to 2k regen (yet I still end up heavy attacking for forever), max magicka is about 41k and spell damage (excluding BSW procs and silks) is around 1500 unbuffed. So maybe it's (at least in part) my gear that's holding back my DPS, or maybe it's the rotation I use (eruption, blockade, embers, spam whip, reapply DOTs as needed, shooting star when it's up, heavy attack when magicka gets low), or maybe I'm missing some crucial detail about how to weave light attacks. So here I am, asking the experienced MagDKs of the world for your help, those of you who can pull 100k on a robust skeleton (kidding, but I know some of you guys can get over 40k). Are there any video guides you guys have made or seen that really breakdown how to weave? Or any tips you can give me on my gear or rotation? Thanks in advance everyone!

(PS I just started leveling Trap Beast because I've seen a lot of people use that, so once I get that up, maybe it'll help by giving me free whips. I guess that's the point of it, but still, I'm all ears for any and all suggestions)

Solo players *required* to go to Craglorn.

It is my understanding (CP104 Stam Warden) that Craglorn is group content. So why is my solo character required by the game to go there to hand in a crafting writ?

Am I missing something? Are the prior forum posts and ESO guides no longer relevant in recommending solo players stay away from there?

Decorating Hints, Tips & Ideas

I've seen many great ideas from posters on decorating, and thought it would be good to have such tips etc together in one post. So please share yours here! :)

I'll start off with one of mine:

Turning furnishings upside down can often give you different looks to be creative with.
e.g the Vvardenfell Scale Model turned upside down makes for great patio paving!

When I started playing this game I made a magicka Sorcerer because everyone told me they were the best as starting character. I didn't get past lvl 26 and eventually deleted the character. I just wasn't having fun. Then someone told me I should have a crafting character. I chose a character I thought I would like the least, stamina nightblade. Just spank in few skill points and I can move on to another character, or so I thought. I ended up liking it, despite the fact that she was vastly inferior to the sorcerer. Now that she's geared she's a beast but a stamina nightblade with green gear is much more challenging to play than a magicka sorcerer in green gear. She got to lvl 50 before I became an altoholic. Eventually I made another sorcerer and it's been months since she hit lvl 50 and was fully geared. I only log on her to train horses and she did her first pledge a week ago. Even though she does ridiculous amount of damage I do not have fun playing her. I don't know why exactly. I created a stamina sorcerer too early on but she's a mule and will forever be a mule.

I'm in similar situation with Dragon Knight. It's difficult for me to like them as neither tank nor DPS.

Conversely I love Wardens. I just can't get enough of them, as tank, DPS, healer and most importantly as hybrids. I also like Templar as DPS class. Nightblade probably comes third and I do enjoy playing them.

*If there are more than one, please list one that stands out the most to you. If they stand out equally choose a random one.
*Your choice may be specific to stamina or magicka. In such cases choose from the class listed and comment that the choice is only for magicka or stamina

Thoughts regarding the Warden?

Hi, I made a warden healer when morrowind released, I main a templar healer.

At first I liked the warden as a healer, but compared to templar it just doesn't cut it. Warden is slow and clunky in the animations, you have to aim the burstheals and in a non coordinated group that is a nightmare. Warden relies on the PvP cleanse ability. Wardens passive wich gives 10% more HP for 10 seconds is now broken, it now constantly activates even before the first 10 seconds of the bufftimer has ended, that leaves your teammates going up and down in HP all the time never really be art 100% health and that makes SPC set useless.

The bluebetty won't cleanse any negative effects from yourself, if you have more than 1 on you it just won't work.

I'm not here to argue who's the best healer templar or warden because there isn't really anything to argue about, warden falls short in every aspect, I made a poll a while back asking people's opinions on who's the best healer between the two and templar completely curbstomped warden and that is when warden is working as intended without the passive Bering broken and the bluebetty cleanse bugg.

This will be adressed on the warden im sure that the passive will work again and all.

However warden will still fall short. I'm not sure what will happen to the class in the future.

What do you think will happen to the warden in terms of making it viable? Will they make warden a viable healer? Will they fix the dps for PvE? Will they do something with the ice tree so we can do a ice mage?

What do you guys think will make warden a first choice healer or tank or dps? If not first choice atleast as good healer as templar, as good dps as nightblade or as good tank as the dragonknight?

Any Stam DKs using double s&b in PvP?

Just wondering if anyone is using or has tried using a stam dk with sword and shield on both bars in pvp? Whether its solo, small group or Zerg. I know with access to two handers and it's execute, it's not the most ideal setup. I had a build idea but wanted to see first if anyone has even attempted it.

How do you get the third weapon bar slots?

I believe it has to do with the sorcerer and using the Ultimate ability, but I still don't know how to use it. So how do you set up the Ultimate ability with the powers you want to swap them out quickly?

If it's not done this way, how is it done? I would like to try it out so I can try and have some different combat abilities.

In the past the argument against this idea is that you lose out on an equipment/weapon slot when it comes to filling a set of armor. My idea is a tradeoff, with this you get an extra skill slot. Instead of blocking you can use an extra skill. Have you ever filled your skill bar and wished you could add one more?

I'm looking for some gear I can upgrade to gold without feeling like my money was completely wasted. Currently running Kagrenac's Hope + Willpower Jewlery and 2 Torug's Pact. I'm also farming wormcult jewlery and gear atm.

Any ideas? ;P

Warden Bug or Feature?

@ZOS_GinaBruno - Would really appreciate some clarification on this one.

Presently the Blue Betty morph of the Warden Netch Betty ability, which is supposed to remove 1 negative effect on cast, will not remove ANY negative effects if there are more than 1 negative effects active on the player when you cast it.

This can be verified by fighting any NPC that puts an effect on you that causes damage over time AND slows.

The DoT and the slow are considered 2 separate effects (even though they are technically only 1 ability) and spam casting Blue Betty any number of times will not remove EITHER effect. This is true for any combination of effects. If there are more than 1 negative effect, NONE are removed.

SUGGESTION: How I personally feel this should work is that casting Blue Betty should always remove the 1 negative effect with the lowest remaining timer.

Please let us know if this is working as intended!
