Got my first Maelstrom lightning staff and I noticed it is fully charged all the time. Is it really so or is it a bug?

Animation cancelling, bar swapping, and weaving are not fun.

This is the conclusion I have come to after trying to emulate rotations in this game for the past two months.

It makes every DPS class to me monotonous and boring.

I understand light attacks need to be relevant...I think it should be a way that is actually fun.

I could use some help!~

Thanks in advance! I'm fairly new to the game, and I have a couple of questions.

First, I thought when I purchased ESO plus, I would have access to the Imperial race, but I still don't.

Also, I thought I read that if you skip the tutorial with a new character, it starts you in your alliance capital, but I started again in Seyda Neen, only without the tutorial.

Thank you!

How much of the furniture in your home(s) is made/stolen by you?

I love crafting, it's why I'm a master crafter. Housing is my main interest right now, especially making all the furniture in my homes. This is getting to be difficult, as purple furnishing patterns are much more rare, and almost non-existant on Vvardenfell. Not to mention the items that were never in-game to being with (*cough* Conservatory). So, just wondering, how many people caved and bought furniture, vs are holding out for months to find that purple plan you really want.

Daedric Order | EP PvP Raid Guild - VIVEC!

Daedric Order is an established EP PvP guild, playing in Vivec, with 2+ years of history throught different campaigns.

We are playing high-end group PvP: Discord-only raids with dedicated roles & sets. Groups consist of mostly 8-12 man at this moment, tho we are aiming for bit higher numbers. We are focused on quality over quantity though, paying attention to the role destribitution, group sets and teamwork. There are 3 scheduled events per week, always in the evening, the rest is free time for Smallscale, BGs, set farming and whatever else you want to be doing :)

We are determined to become one of the best guild groups on the server, but for that, we need more new members that are willing to put in effort of getting right builds, sets and joining our raids 3 times a week with enough consistency. All in all, we need people that will actively improve the guild with their presence and share our enjoyment of PvP!

In regard to that: Daedric Order is a guild of mature, friendly people with no tolerance for drama! We help eachother with set grind, build advice ect.

Anyone interested in playing with us /w or mail in-game @Tillalarrien or @CloudTemplar for invite.

I hope to see some of you become our core players and help us slaughter DC and AD by the thousands..

Oblivion awaits!

Why I feel it's hard to stick with the game.

A lot of players like my self have been here since beta. But we never stick with the game for more than a few months even though we always return off and on. I believe there are 2 main reasons for this.

1) Lack of content.
2) Fast leveling.

When we had Veteran Ranks it felt like a real leveling system. It took a while to meet max rank. You had to do a lot of quests, pretty much clearing every quest in the zone to get proper leveling. Then they made it easier to level up, and finally introduced ChampionPoints for Veteran Ranks. With the CP there was a new reason to get XP after reaching max "level" (cp160/v16) since you had perks to spec. However the downside to this is everyone with CP160+ was automatically max "level" once they reached lvl50. Then you want to go through lvl1-50 as quick as possible so the gear drops you get will all be at max level. This makes the game feel boring and overused once you've completed just one character. You feel like you're always at end game.

When they introduced scaling it got even worse. Now instead of fighting high lvl mobs at low levels, you're always scaled so it's fair. Instead of feeling like windhelm is dangerous now it's like every zone is casual childs play. Me personally I liked MMOs where it felt like theres a huge gap between your new character and far off zones. The worst part is the scaling makes the available content seem even more lackluster, because you don't have to finish al your quests in the zone to be high enough lvl for the next zone. You just walk off ignoring 95% of the games quests. If this game was like WoW with a *** ton more content then maybe the scaling wouldn't of impacted it as much. But even then it makes players feel like they're gods when they can defeat a mob at lvl5 with the same difficulty as they could at Cp160.

Everything about ESO psychologically makes people feel like there isn't as much content as there is. And the amount of actual content, relative to other MMOs isn't that much. Excuses aside the game design choices here have made the lackluster content feeling even worse. For me, this is what really kills it. I like doing dailies, pledges, and stuff like that, but I also like questing in my spare time. I like having to do lots of quests to level up. But in ESO I just do all my dailies on my mains then I switch to some new character and just grind my character to CP. In my head I'm like "well I'd rather be Cp160 so I can get gear drops" or something like that. And for those who want to RP and take their time, too bad. If you do all the quests in a single zone you'll level up a few times. So you can't really "take it slow if you want to". You're forced to just speed level to CP160 in a day or two and then feel like all of the content in game is watered down casual ***. If they didn't have the scaling, and leveling up took longer to do, then It would make the world feel more real. It would make people like me, spend more time playing the game.

What if the Bow Heavy Attack was a Channel with AOE Damage? (Like Lightning Staff)

The Lightning Staff heavy attack feels really good and efficient to use during combat:
- Continuous channeled damage during the heavy attack
- Damage to multiple enemies who are grouped together
- Resource return at the end of the attack

The Bow heavy attack doesn't feel as great to use during combat:
- Empty charge time that does not offer any damage
- Damage to only one enemy
- Resource return at the end of the attack

Perhaps the Bow heavy attack could be re-worked into a channel, AOE attack that offers a stamina AOE heavy attack similar to the Lightning Staff:
- Holding down heavy attack button fires three quick, consecutive arrows (works as a channel)
- Arrows split and ricochet when they hit the targeted enemy, dealing damage to other nearby enemies (AOE damage)
- Resource return at the end of the attack

Two-Hand heavy attack currently offers AOE splash damage, which is great. Unfortunately, the short melee range of Two-Hand creates limited options for my stamina characters compared to Lightning Staff for my magicka characters - who can attack bosses and mobs either safely from a distance, or up in enemies' faces. Perhaps offering a channeled, AOE heavy attack for the bow would allow stamina characters more interesting/versatile combat options. I make this suggestion now, after ZOS changed light attacks to be more damage focused, and heavy attacks to be more resource restoring focused (I believe that change was made during HOTR, if I'm not mistaken). If a channeled bow heavy attack were to be implemented, then losing a single-shot bow heavy attack in PVP might not be that much of a loss since the light/heavy damage changes.

Welcome to The Elder Scrolls Online v3.2.0 and the Clockwork City where you can enter Sotha Sil's legendary creation and explore his mysterious mechanical world. In addition to new quests to enjoy, you’ll also come across two new world bosses and two delves, plus a new 12-player Trial: Asylum Sanctorium. We’ve also added 12 new item sets, two new Motifs, over 200 new furnishings, and a host of fun, new collectibles.

For players that own The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind, we’ve added a new Battleground game mode – Crazy King – where your team must seize a capture point location that jumps randomly around the map. It’s, well, crazy!

The base game update introduces the highly-anticipated Transmutation system which allows you to change the traits on your gear, including weapons and armors. We’ve also added a trait tracker that will allow you to see whether or not you've researched the unique trait on an item.

As always, we’ve supplied everyone with a character template that will let you access the Clockwork City immediately. We’ve also been working hard to improve our templates and what they offer, which is detailed below.

We can’t wait to hear what you think of this latest update, which is approximately 3.7GB in size. Please be sure to utilize the in-game /feedback or /bug features, or post in the official discussion threads on the forums. Thanks, and have fun!

Bring back Doshia in her first incarnation

Has anyone noticed how easy the normal content is, there are no real challenges to force players into getting Good.
So we now have players devoid of any ability, trying to do content that is far beyond their capabilities because through no fault of their own they have never been challenged into doing anything other than spamming a couple of skills.
Once upon a time we had a Boss called Doshia who was a challenge, as there were mechanics involved in defeating her, sadly because it was challenging she was nerfed into the ground.

Earthgore & Destro ult = The zergs crutch

$

Earthgore: The zerglings bandaid to making mistakes and wiping to less.

Destro ult: 1. press R with the other 7 destro monkeys you run in your 16+ man raid 2. Run around because you don’t know how to kill someone otherwise.

Destro ults and earthgore should both be tweaked or removed.

I’ve previously offered a change to destro making it more small scale or utility based.
Inferno: single target fireball that does x damage and burns the target for 8 seconds increasing your damage by 8% to the single target:
Lightning: conal disorient stun that deals x damage (mag db)
Ice: aoe frost clenches that ripple outwards snaring the enemy and dealing damage. Every ice ripple to hit the same enemy after the first deals % less than the last. (Ic ice atro boss)

Earthgore should cap on how many it can heal and for how much. Or simply removed for a new effect.

It’s far too easy to slot multiple earthgores in a large raid and completely negate outplays by other raids and or groups with significantly less numbers.

Yes you can bait out the proc. Yes I know don’t stand in the destro. Yes I know l2p.

The current meta is just unhealthy gameplay that is continuing to empower the many.

Next up: shuffle snare immunity and heavy, encase you didn’t know.
