(PS4/EU) Quick Help Defeating Mage boss

Doing Rightful Inheritance in the north of Auridion. Can't seem to be able to defeat the last mage boss (Captain Taarulae). Tried EVERYTHING. Been having a lot of problems like this lately where I'm able to beat pretty much anyone but some random bosses who use Magic or Throwing Dagger I'm playing as a an archer and a nightblade. Not sure if there's something wrong with my build or what but I need help to finish this dumb ass quest. Please if anyone is around. It'll just take a second if we're two.

It's by the ruins next to the Banished Cells.

There are no methods to improve the connection quality , we play avg 250 ~ 300 ping normally or even worser .
I know it might be the problem with mega server structure . Someone smooth , someone lag , we gotta accept or leave .
Daily VDUN , VTRIAL , ouch ... I guess we played over 100 times each of them ... getting tired with it...

I have no reason to stay if they leave :(
Maybe it's a good start , should be smooth in lobby game lol

I just completed the 2 new dungeons on VET , and I can say that they are too big with so many trash fights...
Expecialy the Fang Lair is even larger than Imperial City Prison ...
The mechanics are okeyish I guess and the Art is good. But for the love of God , don't make future dungeons so long ...

Also, if someone has either the Thief or Brassy Assassin personalites and can record a small video showing the transitions from crouching to running, running to walking, to jogging crouch, etc.; would be very much appreciated. There are some videos on YouTube but it's not enough.

Should account wide Level Up Advisor rewards be awarded retroactively?

With the way things are going now, you will have to level up a brand new character to gain the account wide level up rewards, and these include crown crate, housing storage box and costume. Some of which are crown only rewards.

If you are currently maxed out on character slots, you will have to purchase a new slot in able to gain these rewards.

From my point of view, this move is completely based on greed from ZOS and devalues player loyalty. It's not even about the free stuff, it's ZOS saying that they'd rather have players spend more money than awarding them for being long term players.

On the other hand, it doesn't matter quite as much unless the items are exclusive to level up advisor. Which it appears that the Prisoner's rag type might be as a lvl 40 reward? Can someone confirm?

Do you think these rewards should be awarded retroactively? If so, how come? Curious to hear what the community thinks.

Templar healer advice needed

Hello everyone,

I am running a Templar Argonian healer build at the moment (ps4 platform) and after spending a significant amount of time looking for what I am supposed to use regarding the gear/abilities I came across many different views so I am here looking for more clarification if someone is willing to offer it.

I am cp188 for now and doing my hardest to farm Spell power cure set and Worm Cult as I read that these 2 are a good combination and give decent stats for group runs. Am I doing the right thing farming all day long these two dungeons to get the 2 sets or shall I focus on something different?

Now I am in doubt of what abilities to use to so I would appreciate if someone would give me a good rotation for groups of 4 or more.

I'm a bilingual of English and Spanish nationality and i have made various friends of both language's in games but unfortunately there's not many spanish players in ESO because some can't read in english and i have recommended this game to many of my spanish friends and they would absolutely love to play ESO if at least the writing in the game were in spanish so please Zenimax or Bethesda or whomever put a spanish language patch for ESO it doesn't matter if the voices are still in english just at least the writing so many more players can play this very cool game that it keeps getting better and better cheers.

Zenimax, would a high resolution texture pack for PC be possible?

I've owned the game for about a week (oops, been over 3 months now) and I love it. It is beautiful. One "little" problem though... the textures are extremely low resolution. You could say "don't stick your nose right against that wall, but the problem is, I can clearly see this even when I'm few metres away.
There are high resolution textures and "reasonably resolutioned" textures. If it was at least the latter, I probably wouldn't mind too much.
But this is a game from 2014, and yet I see these abominations everywhere:

Just look at the grass! And the lower part of the pillar. The game is full of textures like this :(
This i simply bad. Not even Skyrim, which is 3 years older, has so blurry textures.

Large landscape textures should be higher resolution than the rest, otherwise exactly this happens.

You think this is acceptable in a game like this with the amount of money that comes in? Think again.


Part of the problem possibly is bad UV mapping on lots of textures too. Combined with unacceptably low resolution, the result is horrendous.

I am fully aware the game was developed for both consoles and PC, and the less powerful of the two probably kind of set the limitations, but this leaves PC players in a bit sad position. Lots of us have higher end PCs (or basically way above the hardware found in consoles) more than capable of of using higher resolution textures. Heck, it's not even about having powerful graphic card, it's only about the amount of VRAM. I have almost everything on ultra, and the game still barely uses above 2GB. A mediocre 4GB card (which a lot of people have) would be just enough for this.

I'm not even asking for 4k everything or something, but large part of textures desperately cry for either: 1) twofold or so resolution increase, or 2) complete rework (unlikely I guess), because the detail just isn't there.

So, in conclusion:
Could we get an optional high(er) resolution texture pack for PC version of the game? It would tremendously increase the game's visual quality. Most of us have the hardware to use it![/b]
And actually, now that Xbox One X is coming out (and I guess a lot of people will upgrade), even part of the console crowd could benefit from this.

Mad Tinkerer: Worth the comedy?

I'm in the mood to put some more work into my sorcerer character after a long period of not using him, and I'm sitting on a bit of a conundrum. I already have all the pieces I need to get him 5 piece necropotence and backbar 5-piece proc moondancer for group content. My issue is I have 3 options for him for content where I can't depend on other people for synergies:

1. Just leave him with the moondancer setup anyway
2. Give him 5 piece mad tinkerer for backbar and enjoy the decent damage and lots of comedy when it procs
3. Give him netch's touch or even some other 5-piece proc set

I don't know what the best way to go here would be. I have no Maelstrom weapons (one of the reasons I want to get this character as strong as I can so I can use him to maybe start getting some), so these are my best options. I really really want to put Mad Tinkerer on him (I'm a sucker for pets and already love the volcanic rune for the similar launching effect) but I've heard from just about everywhere that set is horrible, which is supported by the fact I've never seen anyone use it.

Another reason I want to give mad tinkerer a go is because I already have both an inferno and lightning staff for it, and I can put a shock/flame glyph on whichever one I run with. I don't know which one to use though for a magicka sorc. Do I figure it out myself based on how many aoe vs single-target skills I use or is there an established choice?

Current:
Summon a shade version of yourself to stay in place and attack an enemy from range for 18 seconds.
The shade's attacks deal x Magic Damage and cause Minor Maim, reducing the target's damage by 15% for 4 seconds.
While the shade is summoned, you can activate again to teleport to the shade's location.

Suggestion:
Summon a shade version of yourself to stay in place and attack an enemy from range for 30 seconds.
The shade's attacks deal x Magic Damage and cause Minor Maim, reducing the target's damage by 15% for 4 seconds.
While being within 28m of your shade, you can activate the ability again to switch positions with your shade.
The teleport has a 6 second cooldown.
The ability can be activated multiple times during the 30 seconds shade time. Moving out of range of your shade will set the ability to summon a new shade and discard the old one (purple bar icon), reentering shade radius activates the teleport function (red bar icon).

This topic is here to set up a list of undodgeable and unblockable skills & some other interesting facts. I will restructure the thread again to list up ALL abilities and classify them once I have time.
Ground Based AoE Abilities are undodgeable (Sub assault, Endless Hail, Caltrops, Elemental Wall etc.)
Non ground based AoE Abilities are dodgeable (Tornado, Cleave, Arrow Spray etc)

Is this correct?
Magicka AOE abilities = undodgeable
Stamina AOE abilities = Ground Based AoE Abilities are undodgeable (Sub assault, Endless Hail, Caltrops etc) non ground based are dodgeable (Tornado, Cleave, Arrow Spray etc)
Magicka Single T. abilities = dodgeable
Stamina Single T. abilities = dodgeable
channeled magicka abilities = undodgeable
channeled stamina abilities = dodgeable
Ultimates= AoE Ultimates are undodgeable
Player-targeted AOEs are dodgeable if the targeted individual dodges the attack. (Crystal blast, Reverse Slice.)

As it seems, there is only one rule and that rule is that there is no rules. I guess it is easier to clasify stuff for each ability as there is so much weird things going on. Keep in mind that there might be a lot of mistakes as most things have not been prooven (unless you see a videolink/image attached to it).
After Each big topic (Templar or Two Hander and so on) I do have a category "EXTRA" where either I am asking questions or stating other stuff that might be interesting.
