whats the point of doing Vet Hm pledges for crystals
So i noticed something , doing pledgesin normal mode gives you a green Transmutation Geode , Wich contains 1 crystal. guaranteed.
Doing it on vet and HM Gives you a Purple Transmutation Geode wich can contain 1 to 10 crystals.
Now why is it i get always 1 crystal out of the purple ones ? with an exception of 3 when i am very very lucky.
The only reason i am doing pledges is for the crystals otherwise i could care less , but it doesnt makes any sense doing Vet and HM pledges
It should at least give you guaranteed 5 crytals with a lucky change to a max of 10 . just saying .i mean a weekly trial gives you 5 guaranteed .

Leg distortion on one of the new Argonian costumes
Just letting you know that the character's leg on the Lizardly Four-Fabric Skirt is a bit distorted. See these two screenshots for comparison.
I marked the distorted area on the Four-Fabric Skirt:

On the Egg-Sister outfit the leg looks normal:

It's not much and unless you switch between the two costumes it might not even be noticable. But if you know it, it looks simply strange.

Here is why these abilities and/or morphs needs to be buffed or reworked
This is going to be a long post and it will not cover class skills for now. I will try to explain why these abilities / morphs needs to be buffed or reworked. You may disagree on many and thats completely fine.

Weapon Skills - 2H
- Berserker Strike : The ultimate cost is too high and the uptime is too low for this ultimate to be viable in PvE boss fights. In PvP, this isnt used anywhere simply because its dodgable, blockable, absorbable and comes with a high cost. Add x bleed damage over n seconds instead of stealing targets resistances. This will allow players using 2H to do some decent single target damage in both pvp and pve
- Onslaught : Mainly used in PvP in few builds and thats about it. I would suggest to increase the duration of the base morph from 8 to 12-14 seconds and apply Offbalance for the duration instead of an ult refund making this a solid single target ult. This will also allow stamina players to provide a group utility as well.
- Berserker Rage : Convert the ultimate into 360 degree AOE with 8 meter radius.
- Cleave : 2H doesn't have any skill that allows player to mitigate damage unless this skill is morphed to brawler. Even then, its quite useless in boss fights as the shield gain is very low. I would suggest to put the shield from brawler morph to the base skill. Replace the static shield strength component with % max hp. Example, single target hit -> 30% of max hp. This will allow the base skill to retain the mitigation in single target fights as well as in AOE.
- Brawler : Increase the shield strength by 5-10% each target hit.
Weapon Skills - 1HS
- Shielded Assault : I can only see this skill being used in solo pve instances. Even then the shield strength is very weak. Shield strength must be increased considerably.
- Power Slam - This morph is suppose to be the DPS morph for 1HS. However, the cost and the base damage does not make up for the dps loss we get from using this over class skills. Lower the cost and increase the damage of this ability OR add a damage over time component to it.
Weapon Skills - DW
- Thrive in Chaos : The damage bonus is very little and this morph is only useful in AOE fights. Scrap the damage bonus entirely. Make this a ground AOE, increase the damage done with 8 meter radius and a synergy. This will give more damage with group utility over the duration and self utility of rend.
- Whirling Blades : Everyone takes the Steel Tornado morph simply because it gives staggering 80% radius increase. I would suggest to give this morph significantly higher scaling damage and lower the cost making this a single target execute rather than an AOE one. This will help the classes without an execute tremendously.
- Shrouded Daggers : Remove the AOE cap of targets and put the cap of damage increase instead. Put a bomb on single target on hit which explodes after n seconds. This will allow this morph to do decent AOE damage in PvE and it will become a stamina variant of Magicka Detonation.
Weapon Skills - Bow
- Rapid Fire : The ultimate cost of this morph is way to high. Reduce the cost down to 150. Every PvE player uses Ballista morph as it allows player to continue dealing damage. Rapid Fire decreases the DPS by locking the owner out of other abilities for the duration
- Toxic Barrage : Another channel ultimate which will lock out the player reducing the DPS. Reduce the cost of this ultimate to 100 to makeup for the loss in PvE and it will become a strong ultimate in PvP as well. Please remember that this ult can be countered by common methods as blocking and doging so it shouldnt be much of an issue. Also, stam players will rejoice as they will have a stamina variant of soul assault
- Arrow Barrage : The radius is way to low for the damage loss it does due to maelstorm bow being the superior choice. Increase the radius to 9m, similar to Streel Tornado.
- Acid Spray : The damage overtime is way to low. Increase the damage overtime component of this morph.
Weapon Skills - Destro
- Unstable Wall of Elements - There is no reason to use this morph over Elemental blockade. I would suggest to change this morph to allow a status effect (based on staff equipped) to be applied to the target for the duration instead of having secondary staff based effects for itself. This will allow more utility based application for support characters. With this change, support characters can apply 2 status effects, one with this morph and second with the enchant + charged trait
- Elemental Susceptibility - A step towards making ice staff for tanking, allow this morph to apply Major Fracture as well as Major Breach. Remove the refresh on cast. Add a decent magicka cost.
- Pulsar - Remove the immunity to Minor Mangle from all the bosses and every support character will use this.
Weapon Skills - Resto
- Illustrious Healing : There is no reason to choose this morph over Healing Springs as Healing Springs offers more casts of Grand Healing as they stack with each other. I am not sure what effect would be worth dropping Healing Springs. Give your ideas.
- Blessing of Restoration : Same here, there is no reason to use this morph over Combat Prayer as 8% damage is HUGE. Give your ideas.
- Force Siphon : Same as above. If Elemental Drain provides free magicka steal then there is no use of Force Siphon skill. Give your ideas.
Fighters Guild Skills
- Silver Bolts : Add Major Brutality for 20 seconds on this morph. Bow-Bow users will be very happy.
- Circle of Protection : Costs WAY too much, radius is small. Reduce the cost to around 5k. Increase the radius to 8m
Mages Guild Skills
- Fire Rune : A skill that has huge potential but nobody uses simply because of very very low damage and no pve utility. Move damage overtime from Scalding Rune to this base morph. Give Minor Force to the caster for the duration.
- Volcanic Rune : Increase the radius from 3m to 5m. This can be used in PvE and PvP.
- Scalding Rune : Increase the damage over time of this morph by atleast 30%.
Undaunted Skills
- Trapping Webs : Very low damaging ability and it takes 5 seconds for the damage to apply. Increase the damage done by Spawn Broodlings significantly.
- Shadow Silk : Increase the damage done by Black Widows significantly.
- Tangling Webs : Allow this morph to apply Minor Fracture and Minor Breach when the venom bursts instead of fearing the enemy, Every tank will love you for this (yes i know there is a set doing exactly this but why put such important debuff on an entire set?)
Vampire Skills
- Baleful Mist : There is no reason to use this morph anywhere. I would suggest to completely change this morph and allow this morph to do damage without giving any buff and without turning player into a mist. Form a mist around the player instead and do damage every n seconds instead.

Soul Harvest will need an additional effect in order to compete with Incap following this bug fix
This post is speaking from a PvP magicka nightblade perspective.
Note that I use and swear by Incap and not Soul Harvest right now. Combining your cc and some burst into one gcd is more effective for burst comboing opponents than getting that bit of extra damage. Soul Harvest is a close contender due to being undodgeable, but it falls short for general use in PvP in my opinion.
In PvP, following the fix on being undodgeable, Soul Harvest will only be used as an ulti generator for back bar ults -- i.e. grinding and destro bombing (which is essentially grinding
). It needs an additional feature of some kind to promote its use over Incap's powerful and fast cc. Either that, or make all ultis (including Incap) function off of highest crit chance and crit damage stat, like they do with your spell/weapon damage and max stam/magicka. That way, we non-bomber magicka builds can all happily use Incap and deal some more damage with it. Right now it deals very little on magicka builds, yet is still the stronger morph despite Soul Harvest being undodgeable.
I know that Soul Harvest was not intended to be dodgeable. That bug was implemented in Morrowind patch, and I have reported it many times since discovering it back then.

...and why Necromancers?
Necromancers can add a ton of variety in the mechanics, while shedding some light in to the lore.
Since the Necromancers are a higlhy difficult matter to discust, I divided the concept in to two parts.
- The Lore's point of view;
- The gameplay/mechanics point of view.
Feel free to check them out, but I warn you they are pretty big, specially the lore's version.
But in short here it goes, The Necromancer is unique, because there isn't a single class in the game that can re-animate the fallen and debuff the enemy. Turning the buffs in to the debuffs and debuffs in to the buffs.
Necromancer focus on CC and buffs/debuffs rather direct damage, which they leave to their pets. They are more a support role rather damage unlike Sorcerer.
Add melee weapons to a Sorcerer and you'll have a Battle Mage. Add dual wielding and a two-handed weapon to a Dragon Knight and you'll have yoursleves a Berserker. But you can't add Necromancy to anything and spect to be a Necromancer.
A Necromancer uses Necromancy/Conjuration to summon undead minions and uses Alteration, restoration, illusion and mysticism to buff allies and CC and debuffing enemies.

"Offline" named NPC's and other issues since last maintenance on NA/PC
Anyone else experiencing the world differently today, after maintenance?
For me, all NPC's are named "Offline" , some I can talk to, others I cannot.
My inventory is all messy, with only icons on it.
My houses are all gone from my list , except my primary that I can still port to, although it doesn't have a name.
I have already restarted my PC, logged in and out and ran a repair from the launcher.

We originally allowed them in order to empower weaker dueling specs, but several players in stronger dueling builds had equipped them prior to the last minute emergency ban last week. We've received huge backlash to these sets, so they're just out. We've had players place highly on all of the weaker weak classes (except mag sorc
) without using either of these Undaunted sets.
Blobs will be streaming. I expect Kodi will as well, but I've not heard confirmation.

This includes ult cost increasing. The exact names of the effects which are banned are Unstoppable, Ravage Magicka, Ravage Stamina, and Cowardice.
- No targetable pets (does not include Engine Guardian)
- No changing gear sets between fights
- No defile gear sets
This includes Fasalla's, Durok's, and Cyrodiil's Crest, plus any others which I'm forgetting.
- No Annulment in magicka sorc mirror matches. You may use Annulment in other matchups.
- No Blessed Meridia
- No Shieldbreaker
- No Troll King
- No Pirate Skeleton
- No Siphoner CP -- not even one point. Use your debuff trackers.
- Level 50 characters ONLY
Experimental Rules:
- No Lingering Health potions. The heal over time effect is specifically what's banned.
- Magicka sorcs may use the Storm Atronach ult into heavy armor matchups, DKs who use wings, and Wardens who use Crystalized Shield.

Daedric War Cyrodil PvE zone
NOTE: This is not an option to get the benefits of PvP without doing PvP, so No AP
The idea is simple.
Everyone is on the same side, fighting massive battles against the Daedric invasion.
Imagine you hold a keep. In comes a daedric army to take your keep.
The Daedric forces would offer different tactics compared to the PvP players. While they do use many of the same weapons and items also available to PvP like siege weapons and repair.
But also some new stuff. For one they can launch scamps at you.
Like we saw here in this trailer.

Overall make the Daedric Invasion something Armies of players can participate in together. The overall idea is Craglorn but more engaging, where player WANT to get together to fight. How Imperial City is handled is a matter of debate.

The idea is simple.
Everyone is on the same side, fighting massive battles against the Daedric invasion.
Imagine you hold a keep. In comes a daedric army to take your keep.
The Daedric forces would offer different tactics compared to the PvP players. While they do use many of the same weapons and items also available to PvP like siege weapons and repair.
But also some new stuff. For one they can launch scamps at you.
Like we saw here in this trailer.

How to beat a magsorc as a stamina nightblade...
I always have trouble killing mag sorcs on my stamblade, It doesn't seem to matter if I go full burst or tanky, I always get *** on. I am well aware this is a L2P issue however, I would like some advice on what I could be doing to win the fights apart from running shield breaker. The main way I die is I get cc'd by streak at the exact time curse, fragments and execute pops. Keep in mind that my play style is a brawler and not burst. Thanks!

Better for DPS/Healing dual class - Warden or Templar?
So I would like to have a single class for both DPS and Heals. Now I understand I will need different gear for each setup and I will use different skills.
What I am wondering is who is better overall for DPS and which is better for Healing? I know it is all player dependant but just a general overview for an average player, which is better at each role?
Right now I get the impression that Templar is still a better healer but it sounds like both are lousy for DPS.
Also if anyone has a link for any guides for these that would be great. I found Alcasts just hoping to read a few more.

MAGPLAR PVP build advice.

I am trying to work on a PVP build for my Magplar, I have had a look online and there seems to be a number of people running a dual wield front bar and a S&B back bar, I like the idea of this as it will allow me to run a monster set and 2 other full sets at the same time, but i'm worried about sustain issues without having a staff. Does anyone play like this, and if so do you have sustain issues?
This is the build I'm thinking:
Front Bar:
2x Shacklebreaker sword, MH Nirnhoned, OH Sharpened?
Back Bar:
Shacklebreaker sword, Nirnhoned.
Shacklebreaker shield, Reinforced.
2x Valkyn Skoria, Heavy, Impen
1x Shacklebreaker, Heavy, Impen
2x Shacklebreaker, Light, Impen
2x Rattlecage, Heavy, Impen
3x Rattlecage Jewelry, Arcane
I will probably run the Atronach to help with sustain and Witchmothers Potent Brew food.
Does this seem at all sensible for a decent PVP build?

Magicka PVE DPS - how are they doing after v3.3.2? Do Mag DK/Templar/Warden/Sorc need buffs?
So on Live, you basically only have need for Magicka Sorc and Magicka NB DPS.
- Mag Sorcs spam Asylum staff Concentrated Force Pulse to provide tons of Concussion procs for better Offbalance uptime on bosses (Increasing raid DPS). They also give Minor Prophecy aka a bit of spell crit to the group, and have nice AoE damage.
- Mag NBs put out good offheals, much higher single target damage than Sorcs, and have better mobility which is nice in trials like vAS. They also give Minor Savagery aka a bit of weapon crit to the group
- Mag DKs are significantly outclassed by Stam DPS, Mag Templar is broken and even if fixed won't be on par in single target DPS to Mag NB, and Mag Warden straight up way too weak and gives no inherent class group support unlike the other four classes (Warhorn covers their 10% health buff)
****On PTS, Offblanace has been changed dramatically, and NB DPS has also been buffed: (according to v3.3.2)****
- "Grim Focus: The stacks you build toward the bow proc for this ability and its morphs will now remain if you recast the ability early, or if the ability expires. The partial stack will be removed if you exit combat."
- "Fixed an issue where you could maintain the Off Balance debuff against boss enemies indefinitely."
As far as I can tell, Mag NBs *should* now be the absolute most powerful Mag DPS. Sorc was the only class that had a chance to be used due mainly to the importance of keeping up Off-Balance, but now any support role can easily proc it with non-NB Mag classes being basically subpar. However, I cannot test on PTS to find out myself so I'd appreciate if others posted their results and testing.
There will still be one Sorc though as a part of each group for the Conduit synergy, and it'd also make it easier on support roles if someone else provided the concussion/burning procs via Asylum Staff in order to buff Mag NBs Blockade of Flames constantly and and obviously debuff the boss with Minor Vulnerability. Still, in terms of DPS, Mag NB is likely far superior due to them not relying on Heavy Attacks like all other classes. Seems to me that similar to last patch, groups will try to fit in as much Stam DPS as possible and then fill with Mag NBs and then 1-2 Mag Sorcs. After these PTS changes I'm pretty sure that groups will first fit in as many Stam DPS as possible, then fill with Mag NB and 1 Sorc (if any). That Sorc will only be necessary if Alkosh is used.
Can people please test thoroughly because if this is all true I really don't like it. Mag Templar, Warden, DK, and Sorc should all be viable in terms of their own DPS output, and next patch it sounds like that won't be the case.
