Locked Dye preview is essential to the outfit system

For so long we have wondered if that one dye is worth grinding an achievement for with a chance at disappointment but with the outfit system there seems to be no sign of this. We have a lockedmotif preview system and we can preview locked dyes only if from a dye stamp but no individual dye preview for locked dyes... please dos make locked dyes previewable and also make seasonal dyes permanently unlockable for us.

...and why Necromancers?

Necromancers can add a ton of variety in the mechanics, while shedding some light in to the lore.

Since the Necromancers are a higlhy difficult matter to discust, I divided the concept in to two parts.

- The Lore's point of view;
- The gameplay/mechanics point of view.

Feel free to check them out, but I warn you they are pretty big, specially the lore's version.

But in short here it goes, The Necromancer is unique, because there isn't a single class in the game that can re-animate the fallen and debuff the enemy. Turning the buffs in to the debuffs and debuffs in to the buffs.

Necromancer focus on CC and buffs/debuffs rather direct damage, which they leave to their pets. They are more a support role rather damage unlike Sorcerer.

Add melee weapons to a Sorcerer and you'll have a Battle Mage. Add dual wielding and a two-handed weapon to a Dragon Knight and you'll have yoursleves a Berserker. But you can't add Necromancy to anything and spect to be a Necromancer.

A Necromancer uses Necromancy/Conjuration to summon undead minions and uses Alteration, restoration, illusion and mysticism to buff allies and CC and debuffing enemies.

ESO has too many buffs and very little debuffs, is up to zos to even the balance. Its a matter of time that they come up with something, or already came up and are just working on it. I can only hope that that something will be Necromancers.

Request to Hide / Show Tabard

Our members love our guild and want to represent it as much as possible. So thank you for giving us a guild system and way to proudly display our name. But ESO has many great looking gear sets that members spend tons of money and time getting. We do a lot of roleplaying as well and not all the characters would be wearing a tabard in character. So I am asking if a Hide / Show button could be added for the guilds who want to have their name viewed but perhaps not show wearing the tabard all the time.

New to these forums, so hope this is correct location.

Can we please extend the emotes and item/mementos wheel from 8 spots each to like 16 spots each? 16 spots for fav emotes and 16 spots for like the items/mementos slots? With ALL THESE emotes and mementos in this game as well as PVP items to use on the fly this would help a lot. WE ALSO can slot costumes. Please, devs add this, this will help bring our fav selection to the forefront!

What do you think?

PS...dont put this in the crown store/crates. Please and thank you.

love, a concerned adventurer. <3

Hey everyone! After receiving some pretty awesome feedback from players imploring me to post this latest creation, I've finally decided to share it with you all in hopes that it will inspire some creativity for all of the homestead lovers like myself! In total, the construction took me about a week with a rough estimate cost of ~1mil. No homestead add-ons were used. If you would like to view it in game (NA server), shoot a mail to @slicksteezin Without further ado, here it is!

Curious about DPS numbers

I may be opening myself up for some ridicule here, but I am curious about what is expected for DPS numbers in the 4-man Undaunted Pledge dungeons? I have been playing for a while and have recently started these on an off and on basis. I want to be sure I am pulling my weight, but can't really find any DPS targets that aren't ultra-endgame or PVP.

My toon is definitely not a proper spec for ultimate DPS(wrong race, personal skill choices, etc) and doesn't really need to be as long as I'm not ruining runs for the rest of the group. In a 4-man dungeon, I typically pull about 8k-12k DPS on bosses and around 17k-22k on trash when I am using AoE skills.

My night-blade is a stamina based Nord(first mistake) for role-play reasons. I also put most points into health with enchants and food making up the difference in stamina. I am running 5/5 Briarheart/Spriggan which isn't top of the line, but is what I had available. For weapons, I went against the rules and am actually using 2 DW sets, with one bar set up for single target and the other for AoE. I switch between 2 sets of sharpened/sharpened weapons when more penetration is needed and 2 sets of nirnhoned/precise when it isn't.

So, for mini-bosses/bosses, I have bar one:

Shadowy Disguise, Rapid Strikes, Concealed Weapon, Killer's Strike, Relentless Focus, with Flawless Dawn-breaker

And for AoE, bar two:

Deadly Cloak, Whirling Blades, Power Extraction, Leeching Strikes, Reaper's Mark, with Soul Tether

For what it's worth, I have toyed around with Hunding's Rage and Night Mother's Gaze sets as well, with each other or with BriarHeart and or Spriggan. The DPS numbers don't seem to change a lot no matter the combination, but the BriarHeart/Spriggan coupled with Hunding's Rage weapons seems to offer better sustain/survival compared to other combinations.

I know there are a lot of areas where I could make a change or two and up the DPS, but I am just curious about whether my current numbers are hurting the groups I've been in. Overall, this build has been pretty fun to play, combining what I feel is decent damage with survival and self-sustaining.

Needed Changes to Outfitter system

Changing the price to 500 writ vouchers was good, much more in line.

Now if we can get you to make a few other changes.
  1. Lower the cost or make it free if a character has unlocked a motif or dye.
  2. If you buy or acquire a Costume you get a Outfitter unlock for the various pieces
  3. Add Monster set pieces as available. Maybe grant the set unlock if you acquire a piece.
  4. Both Monster sets & Costumes, Reasonable to pay a gold cost since they can not be crafted.
  5. Add a hotkey to hide helm with no cost. Can Keep the hide helm icon option to make a Outfit without helm look.
  6. Add hide any piece as a option to Outfit.
  7. Add Disguise and Stolen/ Laundered Clothing pieces to Outfitter. Unlocked when acquired. Gold Cost to use.
  8. Motifs, Costumes, Disguises and Convert to a Style Rewards should each have a unique look from each other.

Having a gold cost makes sense when it's for something we can not do on that character. It's like a penalty to be charged when you bought the motif or rewarded with Dye unlock achievement for that character.

Charging for when a Character does not know the motif will help preserve the Motif market price. People seek a discount if it bothers by adding the motifs to additional characters.

I think that Costume sales would go up if you also got a unlock in the Outfitter system for the various pieces.

Having a piece of Monster Armor on a character to unlock the set in the Outfitter also makes sense to me. One of the reasons the system was asked for was to keep a consistent look. Bought pieces from a vendor would be an exception and not grant a unlock as the idea is for the character to go do the quest/ dungeon and acquire a piece first.

Keeping unique styles between the Motifs, Costumes, Disguises and Convert to Style Rewards is needed. Makes us go after the variations and keeps get a reward special. You give a reward, don't make it worth nothing as anyone else got it through other sources.

Having a hotkey for helm makes it easy to turn off and on at will. Still having it as an option in the Outfitter makes sense when you want a outfit that you don't want it to show. Gives the most flexibility to the system.

My attempt at decorating The Coldharbour Surreal Estate on the pts! :)

Why do PVP videos...

... always have that god awful durty bassline or dubstep crap playing over the top, instead of the game audio? I mean I could tolerate it if it was tasteful music at least, but it seems like most of the good PVP players seem to listen exclusively to the absolute worst EDM has had to offer us in the last decade.

Get some taste guys. But on a more serious level, there are a lot of audio cues in this game that you miss out on when it's obscured by phat beats, and it would be good to hear them when you're trying to learn. Even better would be commentated footage, which seems to be the norm for every other game out there- While here we are watching kill compilations with crappy trance music like it's 2005.

So is there an actual reason behind this?

https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipMPL-uZ7ngvdXCM1v6cQGm20iyGUGY4jBjL_bcE So here's the thing: I just stated playing Elder Scrolls Online a few days ago but have been playing Elder Scroll Legends for about 2 months. I just recently bought the Dark Brotherhood bundle to expand my play and got a code for the Doom Wolf (a nice surprise - I didn't realize it came with a code). Sadly, I play ESO on a PS4 (no computer here) and cannot use the code.

I reached out to support and unfortunately, nothing can be done, so I am posting the code here for anyone that would like the mount for their computer account. Hopefully you enjoy the mount and please take care of the little guy for me since I cannot.

Sincerely,

I mean, its quite obvious by now what it is...tanks and tanks and tanks.
You dont even have to hold block to be tanky...thats just part of the problem. The problem imo is how easy and how cancerous it is what most players are doing now, and understandably so. ZOS needs to look at pvp more closely.

Apart from block...(wich might or might not get fixed next patch) you have the mitigation in cyrodiil atm. You have a tooltip of 10-11k on some skills and they hit players for 2-2.5k. With 12k penetration on a build. And these tanky builds can sustain for a very, very long time and dont have that terrible dmg. Put 2-3 of them together and they start taking players (potatoes) down.

Me and a few friends of mine discussed this the other day, how sick we are of how tanky the meta is atm.. ppl take way too long to die for basicly just standing here. Just a few frustrating toughts I had atm, feel free to discuss.

Are you looking for a casual guild? Do you have real life responsibilities that limit your game time? If so, then OBSIDIAN GUARD is the right guild for you.

We are an EP based guild that is open to any alliance. We are an active, but casual guild and have expanded the guild's experience online to Azura's Keep at obsidianguard.com and Discord for mobile chat. This is where our members organize groups for PvE/Undaunted dailies/dungeons. The guild hosts regular events such as a monthly lottery, dolmen and world boss completions, skyshard hunting, PvP nights, sewer runs, social trials, etc. We also hold special events/contests where prizes are awarded.

To apply to the guild and post an introduction post (required to rank up in the guild), join us on Guilded: www.guilded.gg/#!AjrEw1kVRV

Interested in leveling your crafting? We have master crafters that can help you level your crafting skills or create gear for your characters. We have sister guilds that can help with provisioning, finding recipes, acquiring materials for crafting, or even farming for motifs. A huge benefit is that we do not charge guild fees. However, this means we do not have a trader. We do have a market in Azura's Keep and a specific channel on Discord where you can post or request items to buy/sell/trade with other members. It is not required that you join our website or Discord to be a member.

Our core philosophies have always been to enjoy playing with a laid back crew whenever you can and help out other members when needed.

Proposed Dragon Bones PTS Changes to Magicka Dragonknight

After reading the latest batch of combat changes for The upcoming Dragon bones Dlc, I cant help but feel concerned about the flame lash changes and the pretty bad place they leave Dk in for pvp and pve.

Power Lash being dodge-able will destroy this skill more that you know.

The ability Power lash, to my understanding, is meant to be an ability that rewards your textbook class play with extra damage and a decent usually much needed heal. As an immobile class this is crucial seeing as MagDk have no reliable ways of consistently avoiding damage, forcing a larger reliance on healing. The catch is that the enemy MUST be set off balance. The only reliable way to consistently set targets off balance is to use a flame lash on a Rooted or Stunned target granting you a powerlash. So naturally it is in a dks best interest to talons or fossilize their target allowing them to reliably use power lash.
A few patches ago Zenimax made well welcomed changes to roots with root immunity via dodge rolling. This change has created a muscle memory reaction in most players to dodge roll out of roots. Roots such as Fossilize and Talons. Power lash as a proc requires you to first land a flame lash on a rooted or stunned target. This is where the problem lies, with the current requirement to first land a flame lash on a CC’d enemy, it allows far too much time for the enemy to break free and dodge roll well before the power lash can ever land, robbing the Dk of the much needed(in most scenarios) heal. Also robbing them of that extra damage. Currently on live severs it is possible to roll out of talons before the dk can land a flame lash so there is already counter play that exists. Same goes for fossilize although the added cc break required makes it a bit harder to execute.

A few other things that concern me are the continuous negligence of the overperforming Cliff racer in the wardens skill line. An ability that is far easier to make use of compared to power lash( and usually does more damage too) , also being longer ranged with increased damage scaling with distance, still remains undodge-able and unreflectable. The reasoning behind nerfing powerlash and not Cliff racer is beyond my comprehension.

Having over 30 days (at least 10 days on all but wardens, 75 days played on NB) played on a Dk im fully aware of their strengths and weaknesses. Ecen without this powerlash nerf we still stand before an underpowered class who’s only two saving graces(being burning embers and blocking )are frowned upon by the community. Im well aware that burning embers doesn’t directly get attention for this classes dominance in duels but it is most definitely the main culprit. Its no secret that Dots really shine in duels, so as a DOT that also burst heals, its easy to see how this can easily over perform.

For example, I asked a dps templar friend to and spam puncturing sweeps( his cited unbuffed tooltip was 1383) on me whilst i repeatedly applied burning embers, Instantly reapplying it and not allowing it to tick for any extra damage. My Current playstyle with magic dk is more team burst oriented as i usually run in a 2-4 man group, i run 0 points into thaumaturge. My burning embers tooltip was 13.5k(82% heal). The result was a dead templar and a MagDk whose health never dropped below 80%. This plus my multiple hours dueling on the class, and having 10k plus heals consistently from this nearly free, instant cast ability, leads me to one conclusion. That burning embers may need a nerf on its healing as apposed to nerfing powerlash. This would greatly turn down their 1v1 potency but keep the more earned, and easier to counter, heal of power lash, in play.

I aslo want to open a healthy discussion about the dk class as a whole. As ive said before this class is in a very sunken place outside of duels.

I would really like to have some constructive feedback as this is something im have put alot of thought into in hopes of getting attention from the devs. I really Enjoy this game and i want to start alot more constructive and healthy discussions about all classes seeing as dks aren't the only class under(or over)performing. Ive played alot of Eso pvp and pve alike( mostly pvp) but i understand i cant cover all angles I as that everyone try to be as civil as possible.

Cyrodiil NPC's are Out of Control!

I am fairly certain something is wrong with the way the NPC's at resources and keeps operate now. Guards are now also menders, dragon knights, toss negates, etc. They now also don't just heal themselves but 'reset to full health' on a regular basis. I recognize they wanted to make NPC's stronger but this kills a bit of the strategy and such. In my view if they want more challenging npc's they should go back to the drawing board.

Can we please get CP pages...

$
0

^ As the titles says.

But honestly, as someone who has the same character doing pvp and vet pve content it really starts to suck that I can't just swap CP pages like I do my armor pieces and skills. At this point I wouldn't even mind paying 50k gold for 1.5k crowns to unlock CP pages. I understand that it only costs 3k to change but as someone who feels like doing pvp one moment and pve the next, 3k becomes 300k very fast. So at this point my only options have become either staying poor at 613cp or never be BiS. Please add CP pages into the game.

*Note: Just in case you don't know what I mean when I say "CP pages", I essentially want it to work like how outfit slots work on pts. Where you can have different outfits which you can change on the fly. Just like that I want cp page which you can just change on the fly, no extra cost, and already pre-allocated points.

Not going back to veteran Maelstrom Arena until it is nerfed on consoles.

$

I am tired of seeing a majority of these 1% players who keep posting veteran Malestrom Arena videos who have the best gear, items, maxed out champion points and the majority being sorcerers (for an much easier run). Many use keyboard macros and some use other cheats or have addons to also help do the work for them. I don't know why ZOS even uses the 1% as the epitome of the current dungeon difficulty. In reality, the majority of ESO players are struggling to even complete veteran maelstrom arena once; let alone have a chance at the new master weapons (especially on console). Just look at the leader boards or trophy % achievement. I do not understand why ZOS wants the majority % of eso players to be set up for failure or even rage quit the game. @ZOS_BrianWheeler @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_RichLambert (Tagged just to hopefully get a "soon" or /lurk) @ZOS_Alex ( tagged because he enjoys giving me warnings)

@L2P_Groupies @elitist (And also tagged inb4 the elitist and L2P groupies.)

Here is a quick list of reasons why Malestrom Arena needs to be nerfed on console.

1. 9 trait gear needed.
2. Massive repair, food, potion cost.
3. Horribly designed catered to ranged and primarily sorcerers.
4. Having to respect to a min/max build in order to get the best chance possible.
5. Champion point heavily dependent.
6. No addons on consoles which give a big advantage.
7. Class imbalances

Solution: Drop the current difficulty of veteran Malestrom Arena and there should be three difficulties added into the game to keep the PC players (with there unfair advantages) happy. Normal, Veteran, Hardcore. The vMA and hMA would both have a % chance at dropping the master weapons. But with hardcore Maelstrom Arena also having the higher percent chance of dropping a master item with a better trait.

People claiming that their needs to be content for solo players is fine. However, end game gear only obtained by solo gameplay should NOT be included in an MMO. This goes against the very nature of what an massively multiplayer online game is; playing and grouping with other people.

Feel free to add to the list below with your own frustrations about the veteran Maelstrom Arena. And thanks for your time.
