My Furniture Wishlist

Like most housing fans, I love to collect all kinds of furnitures. Though I don't own a house yet, I would like to give the developers some ideas of which in game objects can be add to the furniture list. I'll start with 2 furnitures and eventually add more while I discover them in my travels

This is a furnace which was found in the first furniture datamine list, there are supposed to be 2, one with a bellow behind and one without it.

two handed weapon skills? forgotten?

what do u think, guys? i think 2h is very weak compared to any other tree and need a complete rework(ult incl). i asked few random ppl about their opinions in game and friends and no one has said a good thing about 2h. i love 2h weapons and i play with them in every game that is possible but here they are...close to nonexistant. every other weapon is on a whole different level. if a rework happens, the only thing that is probably good from all the skills is the charge and maybe it should be kept. thx for the new outfit system btw! its 10/10, i love it!

The outfit system is a much needed update! However, there are some things that are simply unfair:
  1. You put all this work into an outfit only to have your guild tabard ruin it. Would it be possible to just add a setting to hide the guild tabard? I want to support my guild and have the name show with my character name. I just don't want a tabard to cover my outfit. I honestly can't see why this setting doesn't exists since we have a "hide helmet" option right now.
  2. If that didn't burn enough, then you have to collect all of the motifs on your other characters to create the outfits again... Can we just make motifs account-wide? It's a lot of effort and gold to collect these. Most people have a "main" character where they get all of the achievements and collect all things. I feel like motifs are a lot like the color swatches in this regard. Thanks @Naomi_K for the update <3
  3. If all of the above wasn't infuriating enough, you pay 1500 crowns for a new outfit slot which isn't so bad in the grand scheme of things UNTIL I found out that it's PER character...

Does Zenimax needs to improve the servers?

The game has more then 3 years now and no improvements what so ever have been made to the game servers, every day that passes the lag in both PvE and specially PvP is getting worse and worse. Do you think Zenimax should invest in improving the servers and deal with the lag, which cant be tolerated in an online game.

Instead of wasting more time (3 years now) in new mounts, skins, and decoration. Please improve what the game needs the most, new or better servers so we players can enjoy the game, specially in primetime...

Hello everyone,

We at UESP have been busy datamining and compiling info for some very anticipated systems/places/people that we will be seeing in the Summerset Chapter and any subsequent DLC's. Our last post was received well by the community, so we're happy to present the biggest (and juciest) part of our datamining series, Part 3 - Artaeum, Spiral Skein, Psijic Order, Jewellery Crafting and More!

This article contains more information about Summerset Isle itself, including confirmed locations (and a map of every town/city appearing in the chapter), Jewellery crafting, Mephala's Realm, Artaeum Zone, Darien returning, Psijic Order skill line/class and potentially joinable guild which you will likely be seeing in the upcoming Summerset Chapter and subsequent DLCs. Remove cloak completely

I think the cloak mechanism needs to be removed (atleast in pvp areas) completely.

This mechanism has no place, especially in PVP.
It immensely decreases the gameplay needed (skillwise) to get anything done as a nb. And i understand why this is something good from devs standpoint.
But looking at it from an coherent viewpoint, it lessen the enjoyment overall - imo.

Now why is this? - Because, as it seems to me atm, it is just being used in the following manner: burst->cloak->burst->cloak etc etc.
Very few nb actually use it in a strategically way, excluding just spamming it in accordance with above.

It is just not satisfying to fight cloak spamming nb's, and the majority will keep playing in this way if they're allowed to do so. Take it from them for the sake of the overall health of the PVP community.

Can give us something like: grants minor protection, minor resolve and minor ward for 20 sec when activated.
Just a thought, can be whatever - come with ideas about what to grant.

Loot Boxes now becoming Illegal. How does this effect Crown Crates?

With loot boxes becoming illegal in Belgium, the U.S. now looking into it, and Europe could we finally get rid of the Crown Crates system that is now becoming illegal in some nations?

Every time I suffer through Ruins of Mazzatun, I drool all over the geodes. What about you? What have you seen around that, as far as you know, isn't available to players yet?

... it's same as many other new mmos (in one aspect).

Why making low level content if you are gonna make it trivial, challenging as it's being made for 5 year olds, sped through just to get it done etc etc... Can you just boost everyone to 50 so we play the stuff where, according to bloody everyone, "true fun starts".
For me, fun starts the moment I step into the game on my level 1 character, and I gotta tell you, dungeons are not fun here. They are just an insect on your forehead that you gotta get rid of for daily reward :P That shouldn't be a case.

Am I the only one craving about the leveling experience to be a damn trip to remember and NOT A DAMN OBSTACLE to get to "real fun"... ?


I find this game too damn epic lore-wise and design-wise to be treated like this. Seriously. I just finished a dungeon whose name I can't even remember because I was called out "boring" when I complained about how faceroll it is.
Literally, the BIGGEST challenge was to keep up with rest of group. Boss fights were trivial and even as my role ended up being healer I just switched to destro staff and did dps role. Why? Well, we had 700cp points guy in a group? Whose genious idea was that? Who thought that it's fun to faceroll stuff that's core thing about mmos. Dungeons should be place where ppl should take steps carefully, talk, plan, coordinate... yes EVEN on low levels.

WHY? Why are mmos built like this? This dungeon is damn epic. It looked awesome, bosses looked great and I'd REALLY LOVE to explore the dungeon on a way it's meant to be done.

Is there any way to join dungeon finder and being grouped up with people around the level that dungeon is meant to be played, and not facerolled?

P.S. - take this post however you want, rant, complaining... Idc. Just prove me wrong so I can stfu and enjoy the game. Honestly, I doubt you will.

(my previous tread about this was closed - because of "no constructive discussion there", LOL, but why it was not constructive? BECAUSE NO DEVELOPER, NOR ADMIN FELT THE SLIGHTEST NEED TO REPLY THERE!!)

I was recommended to post this topic to bug reports section, so a bit of a re-post:

I mean I love this game, it is really great and also that you are releasing new stuff every quarter!!

But, could you please try to focus more on testing, before releasing? Why is it, that with every big update, there are new major bugs introduced to the game, that then usually take more weeks, or even months to fix them?

About us:
The Roar of Alkosh is a newly formed raiding Guild, aiming to complete the hardest challenges in endgame PvE. We are a bunch of experienced raiders trying to form a new guild with a roster of high-level players willing to progress und grow as a team. We want to keep the guild small, dedication and regular attendance is a must!

Currently we are looking for all roles; however it is important for us to keep high quality, which means that every applicant needs to have veteran trial experience, being aware of trial mechanisms and having the willingness to improve as a team.

Requirements:
- Best in slot gear for the class and role you apply
- Championlevel 690
- Veteran Trial experience
- Availability to use Teamspeak as it is a must in all raids

Role specific Requirements:
For Damage Dealers we will ask you to perform a DPS test. Each test is done on a 6mil target dummy with Major Fracture and Breach given. However the needed DPS is based on your class and Stamina/Magicka spec. The numbers required are listed below.

Stamina Templar: 36k+
Stamina Dragonknight: 38k+
Stamina Sorcerer: 40k+
Stamina Nightblade: 41k+
Magicka Templar: 35k+
Magicka Dragonknight. 35k+ (without off balance)
Magicka Sorcerer: 35k+
Magicka Nightblade: 35k+

If you don’t hit the required numbers, but willing to improve and work on your build we will still have a look and try to help you to hit the asked DPS.

For Tanks and Healers it is important to have the relevant sets, good survivability in Trials, high buff uptime like Warhorn rotations, especially on Bosses as well as having a good understanding of Trial mechanics.
Both Tanks and Healers will be invited to test runs and we will look at your buff uptimes and the above mentioned requirements.

Update:
Raid days are confirmed now. We will raid three days per week for 2,5 hours. Days are Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Tuesdays and Thursdays we start on 8pm CET, on Sundays at 7pm CET.

BALANCE! What are your thoughts on balancing PvE and PvP?

This is the biggest problem in this game, the wants and the needs of pvp and pve players are very different. One group cries for nerfs and it ruins the other groups play style. This has been happening patch after patch.

There has to be a medium that keeps everyone happy. Because every patch it's the same broken record, pvp and pve players blaming each other for nerfs.

Want to get some thoughts on this topic together on one page.

What increases the master writ drop rate?

My understanding is that learning more purple recipes and motifs should improve the drop rate of Master Writs. I think weapon and armour trait research is also a factor, but I don't remember for sure.

So..... I was wondering, is there a definitive list of what has an effect on the Master Writ drop rate? For example I'm unsure - even after all this time! - whether research in alchemy and/or enchanting has any bearing. And is there anything else?

I'm asking because I craft a lot, but the number and size of the Master Writs that I get seems to have decreased over time. I want to be sure that I'm not missing anything. Thanks forum peeps!

Veteran dungeon protocol

Hello,

I’m a dps warden with about 240 champion points. I heard if you are above cp 160 that you can queue into veteran but I’ve had mixed results.

I’ve got kicked out of a few dungeons before they even started

I got a tank who said most people in the 200 cp brakes are pretty bad and while I did fine in the dungeon, most people suck at that cp and people have little tolerance for it

I got kicked out once where someone said the dungeon is crazy and it hey we’re sorry

When is it safe to enter pug veteran dungeons?

Post Dragon Bones, how do you feel about crafting?

Dragon Bones DLC brought many changes, and crafting has been effected by the outfitting system. Do you think crafting is in a good place? Is it not as needed like it was before? Are crafters getting more or less work? Is it not rewarding to be a crafter anymore? Discuss please, and be respectful!

Does the guild system need some love/work?

In my opinion the guild system could use some love/work.
I will list some things that I think should be in a game which involves guilds.
Please do come with more suggestions if you got any.

1-Online/offline
Right now I am using an addon to get notified when members come online/goes offline. Why not just implement this feature in the core game. Have it so you can toggle it on/off for a guild or all guilds. I don't think you should have to get an addon for such a basic feature in a guild.

2-Promote/demote
It would be very nice if it posted in guild chat when you promote/demote someone.

3-Mass mail
Why not give us an option to send a mail to all or selected members in the guild?
It is a good way to reach all members at once. Online or offline.

4-Guild bank
Oh yes... Why oh why is it either ALL ACCESS or NO ACCESS?
How can you ever trust people enough to give them full access to a guild bank? Sure there are some people you can trust that much, but this is still internet.
Give us an option to set a limit on how many items one person can take out per day or week. I want all of my members to be able to get some things from the bank, like potions, buff food or even gear. But right now the risk that some random jerk can come and clean out the bank is too high, and ruins it for everyone.

Grim Focus and morphs performance in Maelstrom

Even though I have mentioned this issue in some other posts concerning Grim Focus, I wanted to make a different discussion for it.

So, with the new changes to the Grim Focus ability, the stacks you have built will now remain when you recast the ability or if the ability runs out. Exiting combat combat though removes all stacks. In Maelstrom Arena, every time white portals spawns and there are no others adds alive during that point you are technically out of combat, and thus all stacks are being removed. So let's say you have a spectral bow ready. When you finish fighting a wave of mobs and the next ones are about to spawn, you are gonna lose your bow proc, because during those 3-4 seconds when white portals spawn, you are out of combat. For the average player, this might not be that much of an issue, but for players who are pushing for the highest of scores it is extremely discouraging, as it decreases your overall performance in vMA. I would like to see this addressed as soon as possible. Here are the videos, including both morphs of Grim Focus:
