The game has always worked well for me, but yesterday, just right after I renovated my eso plus subscription after the winter holidays, the game basically stopped working properly. Half of the times that I try to log in, it either gives me an unidentified error, the error 108 or the error 200. If I manage to get into the game and I am in an instance, I have no problems with latency or anything, but if I try to fast travel (or change instance in general) even once, it just kicks me out: "an error has occured". Just one moment ago I managed to log in: the last time I logged off I was in front of the harborage door (because the last time I tried to get through that door, the game kicked me out), and now it did it again. It's not the harborage itself but the location-changing thing. I really don't understand why it does this all of a sudden, and I really don't understand what the problem might be. My internet works just fine in general. May it be connected to the firewall? Also: yesterday, after noticing all these problems, I went into the "Windows defender firewall" and there were quite some ports for ESO. I did a "reset" of the initial firewall settings, hence these ports disappeared but it doesn't really look like anything changed at all. When I opened overwatch, eso and google chrome, something about the firewall "letting these applications run" popped up, and I let it do it but still, I keep getting kicked out.

light fortified brass for a dk tank
Came across this idea in another thread and it got me curious. Fortified brass offsets the loss of armor from using light vs heavy, and allows you to take advantage of the light armor passives for reduced spell cost and increase magicka recovery. Is it worth giving up the heavy armor passives to run this?

Update on Grouping Issues, Mysterious Reward Boxes & Maintenance Announcement
In order to address the grouping issues encountered since the dungeon event began, we're planning to bring all megaservers down for maintenance tomorrow morning beginning at 6am EST. The plan is to fix various issues relating to grouping caused by such a large number of players using the system including being unable to leave or disband a group, pass lead to another player, queue for a dungeon through the Grouping Tool, or the UI stating someone has declined a group even if everyone has accepted.
Due to the type of fix this entails, we're also planning to publish the Xbox One incremental patch during the maintenance time. Included in this patch is the fix for the long loading screen issue.
For those that have been attempting to run through a random daily dungeon today, or already completed the random daily dungeon prior to 10am EST this morning, we’ll make sure you receive your extra sweepstakes entry (if you meet eligibility) and are looking into how to send your Mysterious Reward Box.
We apologize for the frustration this may have caused, and appreciate your patience.

Is Taunt Immunity Broken?
It seems as though that sometimes taunt immunity works like it used to work. I'm having a group where no others are taunting and the boss went loose despite me just taunting. Very suspicious.

DPS For DB update
For dungeons/easier trials what is the current meta for DPS classes? Is it still a mix of magicka/Stam? Is there a significant advantage for one vs the other?

No Grim Focus Fix
This skill is still broken. It's been broken since the 3rd (give or take) week of the PTS and now it's week two of live with no fix to it at all. This skill is a core mechanic to night blades and being able to use it reliably is extremely important to the class in PvP and PvE. Can we get a comment from Developers about this please? I'd like to buy an extra outfit slot or something nice, but until this gets fixed I'm having a hard time justifying spending more. Anyone else have anything to add? Perhaps data that would help them fix the skill?

Veteran dungeon protocol
Hello,
I’m a dps warden with about 240 champion points. I heard if you are above cp 160 that you can queue into veteran but I’ve had mixed results.
I’ve got kicked out of a few dungeons before they even started
I got a tank who said most people in the 200 cp brakes are pretty bad and while I did fine in the dungeon, most people suck at that cp and people have little tolerance for it
I got kicked out once where someone said the dungeon is crazy and it hey we’re sorry
When is it safe to enter pug veteran dungeons?

How is a Templar Vampire lore friendly?
Can someone explain to me the lore justification for a Templar being a Vampire? Please, I know it's "just a game" and we can "do whatever our little hearts desire" but I really would like to know how it would fit into the lore, if at all.

Stuttering animation since Dragon Bones launch.
Since the launch of Dr.Bn., I've noticed a significant stutter and lack of preciseness in the game. Characters don't start or stop moving when keys are press or released, there's always a significant delay. Now I know that I don't have the best computer in the world (or even in my small town for that matter) (Intel i5-5200, 2.2~2.7GHz with 8 gig ram), but I was able to run the game fairly smoothly on medium settings. Since this DLCs launch, nothing is running smooth.
This came into sharp focus when trying to pick chests/lockboxes. The pick now jumps all over the place, and doesn't respond to releasing the button to stop the pressing of the tumbler. At this point, (with the video set to medium) forcing the lock is the only viable method. I switched to low settings, and it smoothed things out somewhat, but of course the graphics take a huge hit. The game still isn't responding as quickly as it was before the DLC. I feel that this is likely related to the exact same bug that is causing the massive delay in the Bar Swap during combat.

Soul Assault
Soul Assault is brutal and has to be the best PvP ult for 1-on-1. I have been hit by damages from 12-19k with that alone. You don't see that numbers from meteor or the destro ult (unless the destro ult is stacked by multiple toons; but you can avoid/roll out of the desto ult, even the Eye of the Flame.) Since on console where you don't have an add-on to tell you when to block or when to dodge roll (which I am contend that these type of add-ons should not be allowed; it's kind of like permissive cheating there), it is very difficult to know when it is coming. Thus, it is very difficult to block or dodge a Soul Assault blast; basically, you can't. It is like it doesn't matter what build/setup you have or how much resistance you can pile on, once you get hit by one, you know the end is rapidly near. Even while blocking, my hp just drains like an open faucet. Oh, don't nerf Soul Assault. I want one. I think everyone should slot one on their bar. That would be a cool sight just seeing everybody blasting away at each other with Soul Assault. That would be a fair fight; whoever is the first to pop it would surely win.

Is it meant to be this hard?

I am a new player and have been trying to level several characters. I have 3 that are stuck at level 6 as i cant kill any bosses and just die all the time, and i have one level 12 who only got there because of self heals, however i have died more times than is enjoyable.
The trouble is i have no money to buy gear as its soo hard to find gold..i have no recipies to make gear as they never seem to drop and i have no soul stones so i keep having to reserect at wayshrines. This game is clearly not made to be user friendly for new players. For example the early quest lines for produce and alchemy etc..you cant complete them as you need to either wait till recipies drop or buy them for silly money you just dont have and would take months to gather...hence catch 22..cant make money without first having money..and no money means no armour or weapons or soul stones.
Can anyone give me advice on how to progress? Why do i see players doing the early zones with uber hot armour and weapons? Where do they get it or how do they afford it?
Im on the xbox1x format if that makes any difference. I know that pc's have apps that make life easier. But there must be some way of progressing this game that i am missing?...my sorceror just needs to look at a boss and is dead in one hit..

Feedback from PC players needed: Are the furinture plans from HotR included in the new documents?
Just wanted a confirmation whether these certain plans are obtainable from the new writ merchant furniture documents; these are the four Daedric and five Ayleid plans: Daedric gateway, cage hanging, coldharbor brazier and fence section and the ayleid bookcase, bookshelf, brazier and bench/table. If not these will likely become the most valuable furniture plans since CWC plans are still flooded from the event. Particularly concerned whether the Daedric Fence, Section Diagram is obtainable and if it is not if anyone on these forums has a confirmed drop location for it that would be awesome. I've heard auridon dolomens, but that doesn't make particular sense or it would be widespread, a more plausible rumor was off a miniboss somewhere in coldharbor during a quest (which would explain its rarity).

Suggestion: Hide Tabard Option.
There needs to be a 'hide tabard' option like there is for helmets. I want to wear my guilds name with pride in cyrodil, but don't want that ugly tabard hiding my style lol. One of the reasons i liked wearing costumes because it hid the tabard. But now with the new styling system, i don't want to wear a costume anymore. So an option to hide the tabard would be great! If there is already a way to do this that I don;t knwo about pls let me know.

I’m on Xbox trying to find unskinned fish . I’m not sure what category it would be under and the only was I’m finding them is by searching through everything . Does anyone know where to properly search for them?
