Please allow us to change a single skill morph without resetting all of them!

Please ZoS, for the love of Akatosh, allow us to change just ONE skill morph without resetting ALL of them. I'll pay the same amount of gold, you don't even have to pro rate the price if you don't want to, I just don't want to have to cruise through every skill I own just because I want to change a SINGLE morph (Ex: Sometimes I need to slot crushing shock instead of force pulse for specific trials, and it is tedious as can be to redo every morph I have when all I wanted to do was change one).

When you reset champion points, you can + and - points without having to clear them out completely. Please consider a similar system for skill morphs so that the player has the option to clear all morphs (currently there) or to manually select which morphs they want cleared (hope to see this someday). This saves the player time and hassle during build refinement, and I think more players than just me would appreciate the service being offered.

Or take a guess what it was.

I believe it was twin born star for my healer. Had to use only 9 traits items I had at the time.

light fortified brass for a dk tank

Came across this idea in another thread and it got me curious. Fortified brass offsets the loss of armor from using light vs heavy, and allows you to take advantage of the light armor passives for reduced spell cost and increase magicka recovery. Is it worth giving up the heavy armor passives to run this?

ZOS please read. Can you increase the amount of items from some nodes.

Specifically water.
As it stands now, water is a complete waste of time collecting. On average and with the 10% double CP perk, overland water nodes drops between 2-5, but searching tombs for urns as you quest or dungeons drops anywhere between 1- 7, is much faster to gather and is in close proximity. Making farming water in the overland completely useless and a waste of time.

My other request for increase is clothing materials. Leather comes naturally from killing enemies, wood and ore seem plentiful and are easy to spot, but clothing is harder to spot, more sparse in the overworld (from my experience) and although the game is a player made economy, it is more expensive than any other material, because of this rarity.

On average 1 max level clothing writ costs 40-50 silk, with the reward of wax, a survey or a master writ being rng. Also it seems that writs are more frequently asking for silk rather than leather items. The actual in game price for the silk we use for writs does not even match the rewards we get for doing the writ. This is player made economy of course, but with a slight increase in the amount clothing nodes drop this would change and even out, making clothing materials equal to every other mat.

Just a suggestion

In ESO there is nothing more infuriating than food going down in combat without realizing it. Please add a red food icon to the UI just like the weapon charge / armor repair indicators. Some UI code monkey could add this on a Monday before he even gets his first cup of coffee am I right @ZOS_GinaBruno?

penetration vs. weap dam

Does anyone know how much penetration ( or mob armor reduction ) = how much wep. dam.? like strength of automation gear gives 400 wep dam, but sunderflame drops phy. res. by 3440. with changing nothing else, which gear would theoretically give more dps? I know there are a ton of other variables, but just as kind of a guide line..

It's about time for implementation of a dual-inventory view.

As it stands it's a monumental pain int he rear performing inventory management. Going between the bank and inventory I seem to always forget this or that and end up having to backtrack, figure out what I had withdrawn already, find what I think I need. In reality, it's entirely unnecessary.

It would make things about a million times more convenient, and intuitive if inventories like merchant and player, banker and player, storage chests and players etc... Were split, akin to the way it had been done in TESV, and iirc TESIV.

Forgive my literal lack of photo editing skills, but I've made a simple image detailing what I'm talking about. Basically, it's pointless to use the "tabs" in the top right corner. Maybe when 32 bit was supported it could have been a boon to players and dev team alike, but that time is gone.
CfhWA82.jpg

Furthermore something needs to be done about traits-- as it stands there are 10 to keep track of over dozens of specific items, which adds up to hundreds of traits to sort through. --3rd party addons like traitbuddy" are pretty much essential to anyone who seriously wants to start crafting, and wants to maintain an even level of progress across the board

And let's not kid ourselves, even progress is the only way to go about it without shooting yourself in the foot. I know from 1st hand experience. My first character I thought "oh I use daggers often Ill just rush 8 traits in daggers"-- and as you can imagine that turned out to quite a train wreck when I started hitting 6-7 and 8 traits.

ESO Stamblade 51.5K DPS 3mil [Dragon Bones]

Just wanted to share my first attempt at stamblade DPS this patch. I have no idea if my traits or CP are right so could possibly do better, also not played for a few months.

image

Notes
  • Gear: TFS, Warmachine, Kraghs, VMA bow, Poison back-bar, Axe/dagger setup (mechanical acuity instead of TFS for dungeons and trials is filthy deeps)
  • Blue resource food
  • Lover stone (Warrior stone for dungeon and trials is even more deeps)
  • CP I don't even know tbh, probably all in blessed
  • Sure you can use velidreth
  • All abilities used in the video would be what I would use in dungeons and trials, even the marked for death (pre-debuff, crit passives, healing and major berserk when target dies)
  • This build is very easy to sustain now, just do a few more heavy attacks than what you saw in the video and take synergies. The synergy patch made sustaining so so easy.
  • Infused axe with precise dagger. Nirnhoned bow.

Grothdar will go extinct because of zaan

Period. Nerf damage or get rid of every other magicka based monster set as they are not needed... skoria for range zaan for melee and thats basicly it huh? No point of even considering another option.

#Balance

I also believe zos dug themselves into a hole here. Too many monster sets do same thing as others. This is another grothdar with higher damage thats all.

Are we really gonna consider other monster sets based off the 1 piece bonus it gives?

Nerf zaan. But when you nerf zan it becomes same exact thing as grothdar just different look... i dont see how this is progressive at all.

EDIT !!!!! Earlier i didnt go full rant mode because I figured people knew the problem. Unfortunately i was wrong.

When i put 5 spellweave - 5 sun ( or even a sustain set ) - 2 zaan and you 1v1 me do you honestly think you stand a chance against my mag dk? If you think you do you are sadly mistaken...

Step one - apply engulfing flames -
Step two - apply embers
Step three - wait for zaan proc
Step four - fossilize into meteor combo into whips
Step five - ignore hate mail.

This will be every guy standing in stormhaven thinking he has skill using the most overpowered thing in game.

Magdk will never lose a 1v1 again magplar no longer stand a chance.

Stam Nightblade Tank Help

Hello everyone,

First of all I want to mention that I'm already aware of the fact that Mag NB tanks (sap tanks) are actually way better .

The problem for me with that is the sides-build available . Tanks aren't always needed in all fights , even if it's just for questing I'd like to have a secondary DD build and that's the problem , I never enjoyed playing as a magicka caster in MMOs . If I play as a Sap Tank (magicka) I'd have to play a magicka DD build as well .

With that being said I'd like to know if there's a viable way to build a stamina based NB tank . I don't pretend to do the headquarters with him, I just want to be able to clean all the PVE content .

When do you give up on a PUG dungeon run?

Recapitulating my pledges yesterday, to see where other people would have bailed on the second group.
I'm runing my magicka sorcerer healer, and yes I am healing.

Tempest Island (normal), no problems, group damage is a bit low but the tank is solid and it's a smooth run, no deaths, and I got to see an alternate path up towards the peak.

Darkshade II, and from the first trash pack, I can see it's going to be a long slog of a run. Group dps is really low, the 'tank' is a dual wield/bow dps with no taunt and no crowd control, so mobs are just everywhere, the 'dps' are super squishy, and my ~8k dps (blockade, liquid lightning, and light attacks) is consistently 40-45% of group numbers. At most pulls, the dps and the tank are all trying to bravely take up positions behind me for lord only knows what reason. We actually wipe at The Fallen Foreman (I just let myself die when both dps died quickly and I wasn't able to get one up without the tank dying, and then the rezzed dps died again). Reset and we get through that, I'm consistently the only one rezzing both of the dps, Transmuted Alit takes forever because I don't think they understood the mechanics and kept focussing the low health member of the trio - had to pop a destro ult after about the 5th time one or two got back up. The Grobull fight is always a bit chaotic, but all of the other fights up till Engine Guardian I know from past experience can go a lot smoother; this time almost all of my healing was from twilight because most of the time I had a mob in my face and the dps were not in position where I could reliably hit more than one with springs/prayer .
At Engine Guardian, the dps are all over the place, we wipe, someone pulls again before i can explain any mechanism, and we wipe again. At this point finally we get to discuss the mechanics, I yell at them for consistent crappy dps, they yell at me for not healing ( I don't think anyone can heal the whole team through poison air if they are scattered all over the place) I tell them the cue for poison air (green color and the hiss) and one dps says "I can't see that color. I don't hear the hiss" and the other dps says he's playing with the audio off. I just tell them to stack on me, initiate a ready check, and they all ready...and then the one guy goes immobile for 3 minutes, eventually he says he's fixing his skill bars. We finally get through the third time, overall it took over an hour which is truly ridiculous. I probably should have bailed long before - I know that this can go much more smoothly.

I do mostly PUG dungeons as tank or healer, and yes, some of them are a struggle, but it usually goes well enough, and every so often you realize that there are actually a fair number of the same mechanics on normal that are on vet, they just aren't apparent until you have tragically low dps. I've only once actually bailed when it wasn't a team decision, but maybe I should more often. What's your threshhold for leaving?

Just paid $30 for non-refundable 60 day card. Can't use it because I bought the game through steam.

I am a constantly returning player, and whenever I attempt to dabble in PvP I'm just backhanded right out of it. (under 50 PvP) Absolutely ridiculous matchups. For one I can't do anything to anybody ever. They can kill me in seconds though. Damage abilities don't do anything at all ever. This is supposed to be under 50, I don't think anybody who actually plays under 50 pvp is truly under 50. I can see why no other actual noobies to PvP ever bother.

How do I even make it playable?

Keep joining trial guilds and they are constantly requiring players to wear gear that they think is best, do things that they think is best ect.

Romantic Interest NPCs

Concerning the RPG part of MMORPG, what if the Writers provided a selection of Romanceable NPCs with new lines of Dialogue and even questlines that progress the relationship. A new game mechanic that allows the vestige to bond with an NPC, complete a personal story questline, and unlock special options such as making them a version of the Brotherhood Bequeather, or a special "Assistant" you can place in your house.

We already have lines of dialogue where the Vestige flirts, heavily, with Naryu. Thats a start.
