switching from normal to steam
so i got the game by disk/site download and have (almost) all dlc,
but i am thinking to go play by steam (yes i know i need to rebuy the game on steam) as its easyer for me to buy crowns by steam thn other ways
(dont want my gf see my bank info about buying more eso stuff(sarcasm))
Do i need to rebuy all dlc if i log on on steam version with my account, or will i still have acces to them (totally dont wanna rebuy morrowind expension?
i did google it, but only find old threads with conflicting awnsers

Zaan Examples
I went through several different builds in the video, pretty much seeing what I like best.
I think you get a good view of how Zaan works in PvP.

x5 elf bane (jewelry, front bar ice staff)
x2 Zaan
x5 Transmutation resto back bar

I'll post my opinion:
When I first saw Zaan I thought an up close melee ish (tanky) build would be best. Let ya keep up close and deal just enough damage to kill with Zaan.
I did not like how this played out, it allowed a lot of players of counter Zaan or recover afterwards (in fact you can see it in some of the clips)
I much preferred a more offensive build that just used Zaan as constant pressure, I like the idea of a sorcerer because of Wrath, when Zaan gets opponents down, wrath finishes them. It's also nice to have Curse proc during Zaan (and frag)
Obviously NBs and DKs can really utilize Zaan with their natural high damage and built in Roots.
I elected to use frost staff for reach over encase. I found it much easier to use and damage is always welcome (I suppose those with Master staffs could have a lot of fun!)
The very high mobility of sorc makes keeping Zaan in range easy. And even if they break Zaan that doesn't mean you can't just wait for the next.
Detect pots are your best friend
There's also the huge advantage of procin Zaan when you're on the backbar, you're dealing massive damage and can easily barswap into offense.
What other set kills when you're hard CC'ed?
The biggest counter is using Zaan, because you can't tell it's not your Zaan you end up eating quite a few ticks before you realize wtf is going on

Stuck on character screen
For the past few days ive been trying to log in to the game with no luck. When i choose 1 toon i get kicked out after a few secs to login screen again, with the message:
'An error has occured. Please wait a few minutes and log in again'
Ive tried reinstalling/repair the game, nothing works. For the last 3 years ive been playing, this has never happened to me before, anyone knows how to fix? I have to buy this cave before its gone xD

Ilambris pauldron, is RNG badly balanced?
So, in resume, I've doing pledges everyday for about a week now even with other characters too in hope to get a Ilambris Pauldron for my magsorc in Giliron the red beard's undaunted chest, yet, nothing at all. Is it normal? I've heard about some other people who said that they get it pretty often, so why am I not getting any?

Can somebody explain this to me before I completely loose my mind
I'm hooked up to this game... kind of. I don't play anything else lately, but what I got to realize 30mins ago (after asking myself some questions and talking to random guy) got me pissed of so hard.
So... you saying that I can go make a guild and get all 3 factions in a guild and then we enter cyrodill and we are suddenly enemies in the same guild ?!?!
You say that I can go and quest in peace and quiet in other faction's zones, even cooperate with other faction't members there and when I enter cyrodill that faction member who helped me to finish certain quest is now my enemy?!?!
WHY? Please somebody explain this logic, I beg you. This has almost made me uninstall the game, cuz this is same reason I quit Rift after the *** up the world pvp logic, and same reason why I can't stand GW2 cuz it's having exactly the same thing as ESO, just instead of a faction word put a word "server".
This is so... soooo... STUPID!

Description: Biggest criticism is the costume really dyed horribly, and the fact that the costume cost 2k crowns we expect good quality in a expensive costumes. on female characters it looks too big and it makes your bewbs look huge even if you are flat.And the trim cannot even dye. I hope zos in the future learns to make costumes that dye well. This outfit is a near accurate replication of the costume and it dyes well!

Werewolf Theorycrafting (PvP)
Became a little inspired when I saw a few theorycrafting-threads here on the forums and decided to start another one, but this time about werewolf-gameplay in PvP. There´s a great guide/thread about werewolf which you can find here:

However, it would be interesting to see what insights the community has regarding these creatures and what we can do to help/improve. To narrow it down a little bit I thought it could be good to have some questions to work with:
* What assets do we´ve in order to dps/deal damage, and how can it be improved?
* How can we make sure we´re tanky enough to stay alive in a fight?
* How do you tackle sustain (both magicka and stamina) as a werewolf?
* How much can you trade damage for survivability and still be effective? (Damage VS Sustain VS Tankiness)
* Werewolf VS other classes? How to handle certain classes while in WW-form.
* Group-play VS Solo?
Try to include as much as possible. Everything from gear, potions, poisons, enchants, class, race etc.....
Try to keep this thread a theorycrafting thread and not a "nerf/buff"- thread (unless it´s relevant for the topic)

Let's hear it, The Who is Who of problematic nightblades openworld
I was wondering the other day while tower farming with a buddy, I wonder who the most problematic to kill nightblades to kill in the game and specifically who do you have a hard time trying to kill on a daily basis in open world. Let's hear it should be interesting to hear haha. This is specifically for PC NA. Doesn't mean they are better then you just who you have the most trouble with in game and try to avoid. Nightblades only stamwardens we all know who of who lol. Let the salt begin.

Next for Outfit System: Costume Integration
A future addon for the Outfit System. Integrate owned Costumes into your Outfits.
Say you love some of the Motif Styles in the game, but there's also that one costume or two that you want to wear as well. What if you could take parts of that costume and apply them to your Outfit so you can wear both at the same time?
For example, take the Lizardly Costume. You love the top but the skirt isn't what you want for the whole look. Simple, cut the Costume up into body slots, and then just apply the top to your chest slot. Now you can have the part of the Costume you want while also being able to apply other styles to your other slots, so you can have the Lizardly Top combined with Dark Brotherhood Legs, etc. With this integration players wouldn't feel forced to choose between them AND it'll give us more incentive to spend Crowns on Costumes.

Where would you currently rate classes for PVP?
We all see the talk about how X or Y is top dog, but there are a lot of classes that people don't talk about, and I'd like to see where people feel they fit in, along with what you are playing for context.
Personally as a Battlegrounds player, my list would be
Magblade, Stam Warden > Strong in pretty much every circumstance, has access to a wide variety of options
Stamblade, Mag DK, Magplar > Strong in general, but tend to have more limited gameplay options
Stamplar, Mag Sorc, Magden > Versatile, but not as strong in general as above classes
Stam Sorc, Stam DK > Most limited classes, don't really do anything that other classes don't already
Of course there are going to be exceptions, as this is generalisation, and one mostly based on my experience. I don't really feel like any of these classes are explicitly broken, or underpowered, just that in the current meta, some classes are doing better than others.
So let's see your list, I want to see just how wrong I am.
