Do you want the crown store to go back to where they used to showcase a larger amount of items and sell everything for a set amount of crowns? Would you be willing to pay 5000 crowns for an radiant apex mount instead of gambling your money and crowns to more than likely not getting the mount you want? I know I have personally spent over 60,000 crowns to get the cold fire atro wolf mount. Didn’t do much as get a single apex mount much less a radiant one. Thus I did not buy the new crown crates this time around. Should everything in crown crates go back to being for sale with crowns only? Let me know your thoughts. Only way to make a change is to get enough people to voice their opinions

We are a new guild and are hoping to expand our membership. We are primarily a social event guild, however, we pretty much do it all - PvE, PvP, crafting and the like. Although there are no dues, we ask that members donate what they can. We will also bring doing a weekly grab bag once we have more members to participate. We are currently working to set-up our guild store, Guild hall and weekly give away events; the more we recruit, the more things we can do!
Our guild provides a relaxed atmosphere for players who simply enjoy the game - whether it be a casual interest, or a strong passion. I must say, I'm excited about the possibilities. Ran into these two Aldmeri statues in Phaer while questing today. Would love to see them - they'd make great Luxury Furnisher items, yes?

Fang Lair is bad design
The wolf are immune to:
taunt
stun
snare
immobilize
The tiger pounce gives little time for anyone to react and is unblockable
If you make my skills immune, why am i playing this game? guess i dont need to buy anymore DLC then.
Forcing everyone to run around like a chicken with no head does not reward skill.
It rewards blind luck a wolf didnt touch you and tiger didnt pounce you.

What Do You Look Like in Real Life?
So I know that some of the regular posters on the forums stream or make videos, and as a result I know what some of you folks look like in real life, but I thought it might be fun to have a thread where people who want to can show us what you look like in real life. It could be really interesting to see if people look at all like how we picture them!
So anyone who's comfortable with showing the forums a picture of what you really look like, feel free to post it here so we can put a face to the name!

Wouldn't it be nice if Thieves Guild & Brotherhood Dailies could be picked up in any Outlaw Refuge?
I would love it if the outlaw refuges in other cities had more usage or even plotlines surrounding them. Right now they're a source of justice system activity but it would be nice if we could do more with them. In Skyrim we had the storyline which started to rebuild old connections. Perhaps something similar could be done with quests surrounding villainous behavior in the future? (This doesn't preclude my interest in the cops side of the cops and robbers mechanics discussed by ZoS 3 years ago).

Another Cyclical debate regarding vet overworld content
Let me just start by saying that I'm a player who has gotten to CP720, has 6 fully leveled character, but I have not completed all vanilla content on any one character. I have done most dungeons, vanilla trials/MOL, and most DLC areas, and I've completed vMA a few times on one character. I say this because I want to make sure that it's known that I've experienced most of the content in various degrees and a lack of content isn't a part of the arguments I'm presenting/asking to talk about. This discussion is about giving more options to access veteran content throughout the game.
So when it comes to ESO, I'm completely dedicated to it and I love its gameplay for various reasons. I like that you can effective builds can come in many shapes and I love that my classes aren't defined by the MMO trio outside of VERY hardcore content. That being said, my favorite part of the game is metagaming. I love making more niche builds, like my nightblade tank/healer or a 2h DPS, mostly because I'm not trying to use those characters in particular in trials (or can swap out the build when necessary). That being said, I played this game because I love Elder Scrolls in general. The lore and story telling in ESO in particular is good, outside the stagnant animations and tedious directions quest npcs give. My favorite part about the quests is discovering new and interesting things about the world and exploring it with my boyfriend, which I use to bounce ideas and theories off of. But that's where the problems start to begin for me.
When it comes to any roleplaying game, there is an aspect of challenge. You can raise the difficulty on Skyrim, for instance, and die plenty of times if you don't understand your build. You definitely can make the game easier for yourself, but for the most part I was still presented with a chance to die fairly. Dragonbreath one hits you unless you build resistances, bandit chiefs randomly execute animation you if you're not careful, mages tend to do 5x the damage your spells do, etc. Even after min maxing, I think most people agree that at least the game keeps your interest because it's more dynamic. Now, ESO is more stiff in the overworld and that's fine, because the game can challenge you with various combat mechanics to spice up the combat, and you especially see that in dungeons but, if you stop long enough to see it, there's also instances of this in many of the zone bosses. I personally loved Barbos in Morrowind even if he was a complete push over for a max level character.
This is where I'm left longing with ESO. When One Tamriel first came out, the one thing that inspired my boyfriend into playing the game again was that all content was available and the areas scaled with you. It made exploring a lot more fun at first, but then after a while you realize you'll never be met with a challenge. We finally went to Craglorn, tried some of the public bosses, and that's where we were finally having fun with the mechanics and finally being challenged. It was a blast until we ran out of stuff to do and realized that all the rewards and sets, outside some motifs, weren't worth repeating it over and over again.
A lot of MMO fans went to ESO and expected an MMO, which they got. They got a game more dynamic then a lot of them but they still got their 4 man dungeons and their group trials, eventually their battlegrounds and dueling. Outside of various balance concerns and a demand for more group content, their needs have been met. So what about TES/RPG fans?
I came into the game expecting to want to duo with someone throughout the world. I loved duoing in various diablo clones/neverwinter/etc. I longed for a co-op TES experience more so than with traditional mmo groups of people. That sort of gameplay doesn't really represent the dynamic of a TES game, but at times the overworld can. It just lacks literally... any challenge. At all. It's been proven that it can be solo'd by people with no CP 10x over, and not only does it not present any challenge, it also teaches nothing about the game's group content or PVP. So what is it really there for outside of being a barrier for ESO's more entertaining gameplay? Decent storytelling but otherwise, few rewards and fewer challenges.
With the new Chapter looming over us and Morrowind acknowledging only some of these issues (World bosses had double the hp of vanilla, had more mechanics, public dungeons provided more challenge and unique rewards, overworld enemies were a bit stronger and had more interesting attacks and interactions), I think it still has a long way to go. While I believe new exploration and solo content is good, I think there should be a push to make more interesting, eventful, and rewarding solo content that, at the very least, might push a player to ask for a duo or player assistance and might push for more of a communal interaction with the zone. Doing world bosses is fine, but what about vet delves or public dungeons? What about repeating quests with stronger enemies and bosses(I really like the looks of some zone main quests, but I have no desire to go through it because the gameplay feels like a choir)? What about DLC zones specifically being centered around working together with others or otherwise being more challenging, like Craglorn (Murkmire anyone???)? What about content specifically made to challenge, like maelstrom arena? Cyrodiil fort sieges, but PvE horde modes? I could come up with stuff all day.
I think the game comes out with plenty of solo content but fails to see that it's all streamlined and even casual players have no reason to come back if everything feels repetitive and unnecessary.
TL;DR: If ZOS intends to focus on making massive explorable every half year that isn't challenging, but release group content that could be either challenging or casual, why can't you do the same to an extent with the solo content? Focus more on player duos and rewarding group exploration. Make growth in ESO more dynamic and don't always have it focus on group content as the only intention to reach end game.

What do you think the next ESO PVP campaign will be?
I've been seeing stories in books that look like they are setting up for a change and lets face it Cyrodiil has been the campaign since launch and is getting a bit long in the tooth, so I'm asking this question.
Do you think the next PVP campaign will be a future chapter, DLC, or ESO II?
I'm not making this a poll as I would like to also hear other ideas of what you think it could be or be centered around. Heck its been a long time since I stayed on these forums, have they announced something that I missed? If so, What?

Why are people so against crown crates exactly? (I now know why)
I'm not really getting why people are against them. They don't offer any advantages over other players, they don't change the game in anyways besides some cosmetics, it doesn't take away from the game, and they are entirely optional. People are acting like they are being forced to buy them or they are missing out if they don't get them. Sure they may lose out on some cool skin or a fancy new horse, but they aren't losing anything. Plus the people who basically live on the game get the added benefit of getting a cooler horse or a new pet, and also then you can support the game if you would like. It's not putting you at a disadvantage if you don't buy them people, so whats the problem?
I was definitely wrong about this. Thank you for all of you who helped me realize

My Velothi Reverie
Alright, the time has come to reveal one of my pearls, the Velothi Reverie. With these larger houses, I will be decorating them according to a theme, and this house serves as my grand library. Unfortunately, we all know that showcasing books in ESO homes is a bit of a pain. One thing is placement, the books can often be hard to fit onto objects or into bookcases, and you have to place them very carefully for them to be even readable and interactable. However, by far the largest frustration with books is how massively an amount of item slots they eat up. Each little book takes up a slot, so 200-250 books, which is about the amount I have in my library, eats up an accordingly amount of slots, which leaves very few slots left for the rest of the place. That means that while I am quite happy with how my library section of the Velothi Reverie turned out, the rest of the home is unfortunately quite sparsely decorated. For shame, ZOS. You're really making it hard to enjoy this decorating sometimes. Not to mention how almost all the book clutter items are Crown Store exclusives, such as stacks of books and scrolls. I only use a few of those in this home, since I won't feed ZOS a massive amount of money for hiding these items behind a paywall.
My library contains all of the Shalidor's Library books that concern the topics of magic, enchantment, history, artifacts as well as Daedra and Coldharbour. It also contains a few assorted books, as well as most of the lorebooks from the Deshaan and Stonefalls zones (those that are about dark elves anwyay, I passed on the Nord and Argonian related books, sorry). This reflects the personal taste of this Dunmer librarian, and quite frankly it was impossible to include every single Shalidor's Library book in this home, and still have it look somewhat cool, with the furniture limit. Where are the 36 Sermons of Vivec and the Truth in Sequence series? While I would have liked to include them here as well, they simply took up too many furniture slots, so I have saved them in a small library at my mage's laboratory in Quondam Indorilia instead.
Anywho, another thing I have been thinking about is video recording. I am now getting to some of the homes that are so large and full of detail, that it will take a massive amount of pictures to do them justice, so I am going to try and see if I can instead record some video clips and present them in that way instead. I have never done this before, so I am open for tips regarding recording and editing software and such.
As for this presentation, I will first present the library, the heart and soul of my Velothi Reverie, in this post, and in another post will follow pictures from the rest of the house, to split it up a bit.
So, here we are. The library occupies the entire basement area. I really like how the pillars break the view up a bit, with a long hallway and some side alleys. Perfect design for a library vault.

Aids in Cyrodiil - GodPlar Healer/Tank/Dps Build
It has been a long time coming. Everyone has noticed healing getting out of control. Zos, are you all paying attention to the godplar tank builds in there? Unkillable, especially since they seem to think they need 4 of the same build together. You can't kill them. BoL, BoL, BoL, oh earthgore procced, BoL, Healint ult. It's a joke. What do you get as your reward? No resources left and 4 teabags to boot. I hope you guys are paying attention to this. If not, hobo put out a youtube video of this dueling. Check it out. Hope magdk pve fixes are being worked on too.

Red Mountain new stam dps meta?
UPDATE 12.08.16
After hours of bashing, insulting, flaming, proccing, dmg dealing, boasting, calculating, failing, assuming, and claiming.
Here is the most probable result, and it is kind of a draw between Twice Born Star and Red Mountain
Twice Born Star: Probably still the king of total max dps output in static fights with buffs. Better in veteran Trials and situations where u pull 40k+ dps. Should do a few more % dps when ur at 100k ish AOE too.
Red Mountain: Probably better in all other situations where your current dps is below 40k, or when you are unbuffed. Also good burst potential if you proc. The more you struggle in a battle, the more this set shines. (vDSA, vMSA, Dungeons) Note: To be effective with the set you need rapid strikes, endless hail and keep dots on targets. Or else your proc rate will vary a LOT.
Viper: Don't really know what to say here but in PvE this set is pretty fkn bad. I regret ever buying it for testing (200k gone).
It is nearly impossible to calculate the difference between the two though cause Red Mountain has a proc.
What's important to point out is that Red Mountain proc isn't much of a gamble. If you don't proc Red Mountain will pull ~7-10% less dps than Twice Born Star. Average you are looking at a ~1-3% more dmg cause of the proc in various situations. Theoretically, depending on the situation, you can achieve at least ~20% more damage within 10 seconds from Red Mountain compared to Twice Born Star if you are very lucky. That said, with buffs up Twice Born Star could probably close a bit of this pretty huge dps gap.
In the end it is up to you which set you wanna wear, because they both seem to have a purpose in this game

People keep asking for a global auction house. Well here you go. (pc only)
I found this addon, it's like a global auction house for anyone who uses it.
http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info1768-NirnAuctionHouse.html
Description of what exactly it does: "Nirn Auction House allows you to trade with anyone across all of Nirn with no listing fees or tax.
When using NAH you simply pay the ESO postage fee when you mail a sold item. NAH (Nirn auction house) is a global auction system, unlike the guild store you will be able to list, watch, view, bid for items and buyout items. Option to get notified by email when you sell an item."

Absolutely No Idea Where To Allocate My Champion Points
I just reinstalled ESO after a year break and am currently trying to figure out where to allocate all my Champion Points to. I'm a Stamina based DPS who uses Dual Wield & a Bow and wears Medium armour.
Is there a theorycrafting kind of site or addon which can help me to allocate my points optimally? I came across an addon called 'Constellations' which is meant to tell you where to allocate your points, although it seemed bugged and I couldn't understand how to use it properly.
I'd appreciate some help with this, as I'm really stuck right now.
Thank you.

Plans to improve performance?
@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_KaiSchober @ZOS_JessicaFolsom @ZOS_BillE
just wanted to ask if there are any ongoing efforts to overhaul the game client or the game engine. I am currently playing on a next to high end pc (i7@4,5GHZ, GTX1070, 16GB Corsair, quality manufacturer components (ASUS), etc.) and since i upgraded to windows10 (because it was said to deliver slightly better gaming performance) I don't get more than 10 fps during trials. I have spent hours of tuning the usersettings.ini and the nvidia driver settings, nothing helps. I have reinstalled the game multiple times, the windows installation was a clean installation.
We all know that ESO's game engine is a total unoptimized mess and this problem must be adressed... There is no excuse that games, that are 10 times more demanding, run fluently at 60fps while this rather old game runs at 10-24 fps in trials or pvp on lowest! settings while not even using more than 40% of my available hardware ressources. This game is no fun this way.
P.S.: Tested it with all addons deactivated (even uninstalled) - just a slight difference of 3-5fps.
Please get those problems sorted out, I cannot pay a subscription for a game that is not properly playable.
just wanted to ask if there are any ongoing efforts to overhaul the game client or the game engine. Instead of a unified auction house...
We should have a unified search function for all guild stores. This integrated search function would allow you to view recent sales, recent listings, and suggest a price for your item based on sales and listings. This system would still require you to travel to the guild vendors to purchase what you want. It would in no way change the guild store function or the bidding process.
Implementing a system like this will prevent exploitation of the ill-informed, increase profits, and benefit the economy. It would also alleviate the need for certain add-ons allowing the game to run smoother for some end-users who have issues running and maintaining multiple add-ons.

More guild trader spots
I think we need more. When you pay 10k a week and still they lose the trader that's stupid. Then they ask for donations to get a trader..at a certain point it's no longer worth it you can't make any profit.
I understand the sitiation..it's just..if it's that hard to keep a trader something is wrong.
So basically..need more spots
