Racial Passives (a poll)
Now now now, calm down everyone. I know there are a million threads out there about racial passive abilities. I'm not here to stoke the flames. I want legitimate solutions to what we can all agree is not the best situation. Regardless of everyone's leanings on the issue, we can all pretty much agree that racial passives are not perfect as is. Right?
Okay, so let's take a look at other things we can agree on.
So those are things we can basically agree on. If you're not 100% on board, that's okay. Let's put that aside for the sake of having a civil discussion to actually figure out what the best thing to do from here is. I'll put up all the "solutions" to the racial passive situation I've seen or heard so far, whether I think they're viable or not, and everyone gets to pick. This way we can get a bit more accurate representation of the ESO forum-goers than we might normally see.
Okay, so let's take a look at other things we can agree on.
- Racial passives and differences make sense in a TES game. They've been part of TES a long time, and breaking with tradition can hurt hardcore TES fans.
- TESO is an MMO, not a single player RPG. However we do it, we need balance, or in the very least, combat balance. Upsetting this delicate thing upends a whole host of other aspects of the game.
- Despite our focus on this, racial passives are NOT the number one issue we need to solve in the game. It's important, judging by everyone's (my own included) posts and opinions on the matter, but I think we'd all agree there are more pressing problems in the game to deal with. So keep that in mind when discussing.
- Whatever changes are made, remember that it takes time and resources from ZOS, and that whatever they end up doing will have to satisfy at least a majority of players. So extreme solutions are probably not the best.
So those are things we can basically agree on. If you're not 100% on board, that's okay. Let's put that aside for the sake of having a civil discussion to actually figure out what the best thing to do from here is. Update:

Problem with NA Server?
I see everyone talked about the problems with the EU server last night, but my friend and I had problems with the NA one. The EU one actually worked for us last night. Did anyone else experience this? I didn't see anything about the NA server being under maintenance, just the EU.

Radiant Apex missing?
I was considering spending my incoming crowns for my sub on some crates for kicks, but noticed the radiant apex mounts are no longer listed at all. Did they remove these? I know most people's opinions on the crates, so please none of that. I'm not going to argue or entertain a discussion about their merits/drawbacks as a concept. Is there something I'm not understanding here about radiant apex items? Do they go away prior to crates vanishing? Or should they still be visible for me?

fast traveling taking more than 2 minutes
the "fast" traveling in this game has always been terrible at my end. when i upgraded my computer i was expecting to see it improved but nothing changed.
anyway, slow for me was about 1 minute, but since yesterday during the day it got worst, and today all fast traveling is taking more than 2 minutes.
usually i prefer to play when fewer people is playing, at late night i can fast travel in less than 30 seconds.
why does it take more than 2 minutes now? is there something i can do at my end to improve that or the only solution is to wait for less populated hours?

Glyph of absorb health or shock glyph for a magsorc? I'm confused about which one is better. I thought you wanted magic damage if you are a magsorc, but I've seen posts about you should be using shock on your staffs

Which Anniversary Event Cyrodiil Town Quest Archetype Do You Fall Under?
There are several dynamics that this event have brought out and ive identified the following (there may be more ofc), which do you fall under?
1) The PvE Quester - this is the dude/dudette that heard Cyrodiil town daily quests were quick and easy. They figured with the cake buff, now was a good time to do them and acquire some AP whilst doing it. Some have the personal responsibility to understand that they are walking into a warzone and try to prepare themselves as much as possible, or fully accept their deaths and take the hit and continue on. Others literally have the entitlement that they should be left alone, in peace to quest because thats all they are there for and are present as non combatants.
2) The PvP Quester - this is the everyday or frequent pvper, who is built for pvp that heard Cyrodiil town daily quests were quick and easy. They figured with the cake buff, now was a good time to do them and acquire some AP whilst doing it. While they are questing, they kill enemy players on sight as if this was their normal pvp. They do not have the intention of ganking or camping the quest hub, simply to quest and pvp at the same time. . . maybe like how those town quests were originally designed to be.
3) The PvE Quester Ganker - this is the everyday or frequent pvper, who is built for pvp that heard Cyrodiil town daily quests were quick and easy. They figured there were going to be a lot of PvE questers partaking in this event whom they consider "Carebears" and lay in stealth, ready to gank and grief any and all PvE Questers they encounter. Every once in a while they slip up and try to gank an actual pvper, and when they die they send hate whispers.
4) The PvPer - These are players who pvp daily or very often, who have no interest in the event benefits, who just want to pvp like they normally do on a day to day basis. They can be soloers, small scale, medium scale, or large scale and they will focus on objectives or AP gain and kill/capture anything that provides those gains to them, no matter the circumstance.
Cyrodiil is more alive than its been since Midyear Mayhem and I am proud and enthusiastic that all these archetypes are coming together and I hope with Summerset and the new quests that GIVE PVP SPECIFIC COSTUMES keep you all coming back for more

A DK's plea to move Expedition from Chains to Spiked Armor.
I know that some people consider DKs as a stand-your-ground class (which is fine)- but I was hoping that ZOS would consider moving our Major Expedition from Chains to Spiked Armor. Here's the logic behind it:
#1. Major Expedition on a gap closer doesn't make sense. Usually the tank/dd/healer is in a hurry to get up to the fight (across a keep or battlegrounds or dungeon). By the time you're in gap closing range, it's too late. I burn most of my stamina just sprinting to keep up with the group. The same goes for escaping a fight. My healer shouldn't have to gap close to an enemy... just to turn around and hopefully catch up to my group.
#2. Healers and DDs aren't stand-your-ground. I've got all three roles on three of my DKs. My healer needs to be able to get away from the fight and continue healing my group. And a healer usually doesn't equip either version of chains... nor is there a healing staff passive to boost speed.
#3. Stam DKs already have access to expedition through stam abilities like Quick Cloak, Rapids, etc. The only way for a MagDK to get expedition without a target is pigeonholed into a vampire ability... which you can't regen magic while it's active. (And it forces mDKs to be vunerable to a very powerful stam attack- DBoS)
#4. ZOS was kind enough to give Minor Expedition to MagPlars in the next update through a non-targeted skill. I'm hoping that ZOS could extend the favor to MagDKs by moving their form of expedition to a non-targeting skill such as Spiked Armor. That way, most DKs will have the option to use it (including my healer). Hell, they can even change it to Minor Expedition. I just would like a little help in catching up to my allies.
Please give any constructive feedback.

Quality of life updates you’d love to see?
I’d love the simple ability to move my main characters and main-alts to the top of my character list when logging in.
I’d also love an account wide achievement option. (Check to see if you have a certain achievement on your account but have the achievement points and rewards separate) (Yes, there is an addon for this, but still)
What are some quality of life updates you’d like to see?
EDIT #1 (Suggestions on this thread that I’ve stolen from a few of you to add)
Account Wide Motifs/Patterns/Recipes (PLEASE!)
Gear, Ability, and CP set saves
A search bar for our crowded and cluttered bags (and keyword search for guild traders)
Reply button on mail
A quantity button for crafting (potions/food/gear)
A “select more than one” option for deconning gear.
A server change token (money for ZOS and some of you want it so why not?)
(((CONSOLE SUGGESTIONS BELOW))) I don’t play on console personally but by reading some of the replies, my console family is in need of some love!
Controller Button Mapping! (Gosh, They need this)
Skyshard/Lorebook locations on the map! (I couldn’t imagine playing without the addons for this on PC)
EDIT #2
@ZOS_GinaBruno
@ZOS_JessicaFolsom
@ZOS_BillE
@ZOS_KaiSchober
@ZOS_GaryA
@ZOS_MattFiror
@ZOS_Wrobel
Tagging the bosses in hopes some of these awesome suggestions will be seen. I know the whole team is busy working on things (and you’re doing great!) but some of the things mentioned in this thread are long past due and would be INCREDIBLE improvements to such a great game.

Stamden Pessure build, looking for suggestions.
Hi Friends,
I've been back and enjoying a Stamden pressure build I have in progress.
DW BAR: Bloodlust, Green Lotus, Rending Slashes, Resolving Vigor, Bird of Prey
Bow Bar: Lethal Arrow, Bull Netch, Ice Fortress, Soothing Spores, and Sub Assault
running 5M / 1L/ 1H || 5 Brass + 1 a and bow bar, then I'm running 5 Morag on my dw bar 4 other wise with 2 Bloodspawn.
60 into Thaumaturge, 57 into mighty and piercing, 17 into precise, 25 into MaA and 5 into physical weapon experts,
I'm screwing around with my other two trees so much I dont remember the set up, currently catching up to the cp cap.
I enjoy the pressure I bring with this current set up, dual axe bleed plus rending slashes with double damage poisons while beating on them with Bloodcraze is fun.
I do not want to waste money going Orc and running 5h but with pressure build and my set up it would seem I would benefit more from orc and heavy then I would the 5 m set up I have no, I do not use evade.
I am looking at farming the following sets, Seventh, Fury, Ravager, and Veiled Heritance, are any of you running a heavy armor pressure build and find that heavy is better for sustain and the long fight? I realize with Fury and Seventh I'll have a ton more physical damage and my pressure will skyrocket, but I am trying to run a cost-benefit analysis to whether or not switching to heavy and orc for this build mitigate more overall damage and generate more sustain than 5 medium set up.

The little things

There are a lot of complains and negative threats on the forums, including ones I made myself. But instead of doing that, I want to have one where we appreciate the little things we expierenced or discovered in ESO. I came across this little guy the other day, such a sad sight.
What little things have you come across that you loved or share some good moments you've had here, I'd really like to see/ hear them!
Lets try to keep this threat possitive and fun, so no flaming and complaining please!

Complaining about premade groups
Complaining about premade groups sounds alot like people wanting participation trophies for losing. Its a group arena designed for teams. Premade groups are exactly what battlegrounds was designed for. Groups of friends playing together in smallscale pvp. Much like other games. Destiny, Call of Duty, Halo, any other game where its small scall team vs teams. The teams that are premade and play regulary usually end up winning due to teamwork and communication.

(Suggestion) Organize the Character Screen
Hello.
I know that there must be tons of posts about this here already, but I'm still gonna make one, since my friends, guildies and I had a conversation about this not too long ago.
We all have 10+ characters, and we would love to organize them.
Our main (that became a main character later on), we would love to put them on top of the list, and then organize it.
For example, the characters you mostly play, on top of the list, the crafters etc to the bottom.
Or organizing them by alliance. By roles.
Whatever works for everyone.
So by making it so we can organise the characters, you would do us a huge favour, even if it is just a little one.
