Vivec PC/NA the population exploits are still occurring & IC is still useless

First of all my apologies for not doing this in a khajiit style but these gross acts of unsportsmanlike conduct have simply continue for to long with no real action on the part of ZOS.

This entire rant is also entirely aimed at the mid afternoon time slot I play in. YMMV during other time periods as I am not around then to look at things.

For a long long time people have been using alts to both boost their AP gains, provide them with 'spies' so they don't have to think to hard, spam zone chat, and add extra numbers when a 220 queue worth of people just isn't enough to fight 1 bar of opponents.

I'm sure we all remember when hundreds of players from the EU, and console servers were supposedly punished for this kind of behavior. I even have a video clip of a certain group of supposedly 'good' players resorting to using two groups from opposing factions to boost their AP and help them farm PUGs on an outnumbered faction.

Then there was the population exploit that let other factions exploit more people onto the server using alts. Supposedly zenimax fixed this, but then they rolled back some changes and the supposedly fixed population bars suddenly returned to their old state.

All of which have been part of last year of daily routine suffered any AD playing during the mid afternoon time period.

However over the last week this has once more gotten immensely blatant. So blatant there are large groups of 'spies' just sitting AFK in cyrodiil. And of course there are still the infantile trolls who squeal into zone chat about how 'good' they are while also telling their friends where to find camps, sieges, etc. There are also there are also the scrubs who show up to purposely sabotage sieges so their friends can 'win' against the 'zerging bads'....

And then there's also the 'purple' scrubs who use multiple factions worth of players to both boost their numbers, and give themselves more numers than any single faction allows. If you call that paranoid I have video of just that thing being done today at Vlastrus.

Finally there's the wastes of server space that are people in IC. Not only do they refuse to go to a quieter server or PVP, their presence actively harms the chances of the outnumbered faction remaining competitive without night capping. Especially when combined with the multiude of 'spies' doing their best to be the most useless things in the game.

All of that makes it damn near impossible for a faction to put up anything approaching the numbers routinely thrown at empty keeps by certain other opponents. And about the tenth time your PUG of 8 gets wiped by a combined group of 20+ it's just not worth staying on to watch yet another keep end up being double teamed by folks 'looking for good fights'.

And after a year of it....well it's just sad to see such antics being eagerly employed by certain individuals.

I really really really hope ZOS starts to do something about this blatant griefing and exploiting , and soon. Otherwise there's just no point logging into cyro to do the same thing I've been doing for four years now. heck even if Sommerset brings a major revamp to how the map is won this kind of unsporting conduct still needs to be addressed.

Why do so many guilds fail after a couple of weeks?
Why dont they last?

The answer is simple: they are disorganized and fail at building community.

The Moggnak Clan is a guild designed to last. Modelled after a traditional Orc Clan, our guild is designed to give each member a certain role to play. We last because we put the needs of our Clan over our personal needs, and in turn, the Clan supports its members.

So far, we've maintained 3 active Warbands of Orcs, own a guild trader, own a stronghold in Bangkorai, and meet together just about every night to crack some skulls.

Our goals are to build:
-A strong standing army so that we can support our Clan's allies and the DC as a whole on the battlefield.
-A successful guild trader and guild bank stocked with necessary supplies to maintain operations in the field.
-An elite unit of spies/scouts to spot and track enemy movements on the battlefield and conduct both assassinations of key targets And diversions.
-A team of mages that provide top-of-the-line enchanting, alchemy, and restoration services.

The clan has three levels to it.
-Clan: A collection of Tribes.
-Tribe: A collection of Warbands
-Warband: A unit of Orc warriors.

Our rank system is as follows:
-Chieftain: Leader of the the Moggnak Clan and all its operations
-Warchief: Leader of a Tribe of Orcs, answering only to the Chieftain.
-Bandmaster: Leader of a Warband of Orcs.
-Berserker: Veteran member of a Warband.
-Warrior: Proven member of a Warband.
-Grunt: New recruit who has not earned a place on a Warband.

Aside from our PvP operations and our merchants trade, we also run quests, dungeons and trials together, help each other with crafting, and overall enjoy each other's company.

We are currently seeking out other Orc clans, no matter the size, to work with in equal partnership.

[PVP Suggestion]Contract Assassination

I would love to see this option in open world pvp. Basically the idea is:

A player character is able to put out a contract to take out another player from the opposing faction. Only 1 player can accept the contract, the reason is so the target is not steamrolled by the whole faction. There is also a cool down period so that, super rich trolls cannot make 100 contracts to take out the same player.

Once the contract is accepted, the hitman will have the target's location on their map, and will be able to track them down. upon successful fulfillment of the contract the hitman is rewarded with the gold(80% of total amount, 20% goes to the dark hood), or a combination crafting mats and such.

Couple of issues and workarounds:

  • What if, the target is a zerg leader and is untouchable in his zerg group - well I guess there better be a hefty bounty
  • What if the target is chilling in a keep and does not come out - make preparations to take over the keep and hefty bounty
  • What if the target is chilling in the home base keep - target is not informed if there is a contract on their name. and they should be unaware up their inevitable demise. after some time. the contract will be canceled.
  • What if the target logs out - contract can only last for a fixed amount of time. if it is not fulfilled it is canceled and money is returned to the contractor.

Dissatisfaction with ZoS Support on a Simple Question, and an Important Issue Involving a Vendor.

So it's been nearly 48 hours since I placed a support ticket asking a simple question that should have a yes or no question.

Short version there, and hopefully @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_KaiSchober @ZOS_JessicaFolsom @ZOS_BillE or @ZOS_GaryA can give a quick response on this, but my friend is planning to pre-order me a copy of the Digital Upgrade (collector's edition version) of Summerset, specifically for the Morrowind offer, however for personal reasons, the purchase is stuck with Gamestop.
Here's the issue, according to the Gamestop website (links below), the Digital Collectors Edition (Non-Upgrade, comes with base game) lists the Senche Mount, Queen's Bounty pack, Morrowind, and the Collector's Edition extras on their site. The Digital Collector's Edition UPGRADE edition however only lists the Senche Mount and Queen's Bounty pack. It does NOT list Morrowind or even the Collector's Edition extras. On a side note the Digital Upgrade edition (non-CE) also doesn't list Morrowind as a pre-order bonus when it is on the digital standard version that includes the base game. This is a problem, namely that they are charging the $40 for the CE Digital upgrade, but don't list ANY of the CE extras that are what the cost increase are for.
We just want an answer from someone with some form of say to confirm that if she pre-orders the Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade from Gamestop that I (since the key will be used on my account) will get the Senche Mount, Queen's Bounty pack, Morrowind Chapter, and the CE Extras.

Instead of rebalancing the races and constantly changing them why not just leave the existing templates in place but we get to choose what we look like! For example, if you wanted to be an Imperial with Red Guard racial passives you could!

You could also be a Khajit with Altmer passives!

I think this is the right way to go about it and the lore argument can't really hold anymore due to many reasons. We're all going to be in Psijic Order which doesn't really make much sense so why not just let us look how we want with the passives we want?

Not sure this is a bug, as much as it's poor thought into coding etc. However... it's rather frustrating when your own pet/bear/scamp gets in the way of handing in quests or writs - but it's even worse when other players seem to intentionally "troll" the hand in areas with mementos and pets/bears/scamps etc... it basically means you either have to wait for them to move (though I've witnessed many times when players know that they are intentionally blocking hand ins for lolz) or go to a different zone to hand in. This is pretty laborious to say the least .. anyways. Something for ZoS to consider in future patches :)

Hmm what I like to see in the future is having the option to.
-Befriend npcs or maybe giving gifts, till such time they give you something back like a reward or something. maybe," buy" yourself a wife/husband lol and make/adopt children(regardless of getting married to a player).
-Random encounters like couriers handing out letters giving random quick missions with rewarding rewards.
-Having dual player emotes that requests the other player to do something together.
-The ability to ride with someone who has a faster mount
-The option to set your house as a background for character selection where you set them into sitting standing etc. while doing their thing as you choose from them
-Seeing your other characters roaming around your house.
-Spell crafting (pls zos we've been waiting)
-Since Battleground is gonna be free for all, why not put a tournament 1v1 mode, where other players can also spectate per tournament session. (players doing open tournament sometimes have a** holes running around the duelists ruining the view.)
-GvGvG BG thats something nice.
-Master and apprentice system, where the master assigns a skill mentoring the student with faster skill exp, and 10% exp boost while partying together.
-An interface for cyrodil where you can view all active groups to request to join, because sometimes. most players too shy to ask for lfg(mostly solo players)
-Mentoring points maybe? different from m&a, idk where you get rewards for helping players which increase to a certain threshold where you gain rewards. Eliminates META elitist from doing trials (choosing only experienced and max geared players). makes newer players to trial/end game content more welcoming.
These things are more like of keeping you busy at other stuff rather than just grinding and grinding and grinding and grinding and grinding end game.

Sorcerer Summerset Changes Discussion

We don't have seem to have a discussion thread for the proposed Sorc changes and I keep seeing posts on other class threads so Iet's start one.

A-Skills
1) Lightning Flood morph has had its damage increased by 15%.
2) Summon Atronach (base skill) & Charged Atro (AoE morph) have had the health increased by 70%
3) Conjured Ward (base skill) and Empowered Ward (cheap, smaller mporph) have their shield strength buffed by 10%. Hardened Ward remains the same
4) Rune Prison’s stun duration is now 5 seconds, up from 2.5s. Rune Cage now always does damage to the target, even if they break free.
5) Daedric Mines and its morphs have had their cost decreased by roughly 1,000 Magicka.
6) The base morphs of all summoned pet skills now also have a usable skill that the pet can use. The morphs simply augment the pet or skill in some manner.
7) Bound Armor is no longer a toggle. When activated, increases the amount of damage the caster can block by 20% for 3 seconds. In addition, Bound Aegis now grants both Minor Resistance buffs, while Bound Armaments now increases your Light Attack damage by 11%, but not your Heavy Attack damage.

B-Passives
1) Persistence passive now reduces the cost of your next cast ability by 15% after you successfully block an attack. (

C-Impactful Generic Combat Changes
1) Light attacks will scale equally form Spell Damage and Max Magicka
2) Two-Handed and Staves now count as 2 items towards sets.

Pretty big buffsfor all playstyles it seems. Where do you guys think the leaves the class and what will be the meta in PvP and PvE. Do you think Master's staff still mandatory for PvP? Will changes in A7 (bound armor) and C1 (light attacks) bring Sorc deeps close to MagBlade or not? What sets do you foresee running if these changes make it live.

After the cliff racer nerf, mag wardens we’re already disadvantaged from other magicka classes, and now shalk will no longer stunts? They are already not good in PVE, and now they will be bad in PvP. Please don’t nerf shalk, it’s the last thing that makes magicka wardens shine! This class used to be fun back in the days, now every patch its getting more and more disadvantaged, for a class that we ALL paid to get, I would’ve expected more.

Would you like to be able to purchase multiple of the same house?

Personally I like the idea of being able to purchase multiple Hammerdeath Bungalows(or any other houses) because some work really well for vastly different things. Would anyone else like this option?

I have full gems and I’m on Xbox and I hold the button to res. So far nothing? I can interact with other players. It must do with something with werewolf again. I know werewolves can’t res but can feast on bodies. I seen bugs where you be stuck in either vampire or werewolf. And I guess the game thinks I’m in werewolf form.
