Warden seems left out compared to other classes synergy with the werewolf, any thought or news out on this subject? I added a quick overview, I may be missing some additional class passives, please speak up if I have. Thank you.

+6% Magic and Frost Damage

Sloads reapplying itself

This player was using sloads to fight me. I killed him, but his sloads stayed on me and reapplied itself TWICE. At the 48s and 54s mark in the screenshot, you can see that sloads reapplied itself. If this is a bug, then can @ZOS_GinaBruno notify the development team for a possible fix? If that's how the set was intended to work, then I can only describe it with one word: BROKEN.

Ice Palace for Homestead

Ice Palace is an Ice Fortress made all out of ice and the best location should be Skyrim or Orsinium where this humble behold should be located at. Ice Palace should have a lot of nice items to the mix of things like ice and semi ice items statue, a new vision of ice gardening items and so one. Tell me guys what are your thoughts about Ice Palace ever existing in Homestead?

When will the next ESO Live actually talk about PvP?

I recognize the new dungeons are exciting and cool. I appreciate the walkthrough. But it was disheartening that the new BG wasn't even mentioned during ESO live, let alone walked through. PvP in general was barely mentioned - about 30 seconds after 50 minutes of other content. It would be nice to have PvP as a focus of ESO Live, at least to have it be given more than a brief mention. It would be cool to have the BG previewed along with the dungeons.

There really needs to be something worked out for those that want to switch to PC

I want to state ahead of time that those that want to comment that: " Character transfers would be unfair to current PC players!" or " No". I understand a bit about social psychology and know that sentiment comes from just pure stubbornness to be just stubborn ( we know you feel consolidated in your own self-esteem in simply being a nay-sayer). The PS4 version of this game is grossly neglected. After spending thousands of hours and hundreds of dollars on this game, the quality of technical attention has degraded overtime. I have a 300 mb fiber optic connection with a ping always below 100: so I know it's not my connection. I have been plagued with getting locked out of the game for 20 days due to the voice channel glitch crashing the client ( it crashed ps4 pro users and made the game unplayable). This is not the first time though. I had to wait between clockwork city and dragon bones just so I could play again.Cyrodill has become impossible to play without constant lag being the determining factor of who wins. Now, the graphics are even worse than what they ever were as spell effects are pixelated and enemey players are randomly visible as pixel, unrecognizable models of the game.

Our progress is being held hostage to stay with the platform in what we started on. To ask anyone to start completely from scratch as if they had never played is punishment not a milestone nor a challenge. Thats 3 years of progress for nothing. The PS4 version is neglected and I am tired, as an eso-plus subscriber, of being treated like these technical difficulties are somehow my fault and getting no reimbursement for missed time on my subscription for time missed due to technical failures. I feel insulted and marginalized: I feel marginalized because their seems to be a mental association with mmo players on consoles as being poor and uneducated. Sure, I was just that but, things did improve and as a paid leisure activity I shouldn't be reminded of the outside world and my place within it due to factors such as my ethnicity or loss of citizenship. I am not trying to make a sob-story, but I know I am not alone when the development team permits a sub standard treatment of a paying user due to what platform they started on. At the time of launch I was poor and could not afford a rig that could run eso. I know I am not alone in this. As time goes on, the technical quality of the game has degraded, grossly. Here are some ideas:

1: At least allow those whom were ESO-plus subscribers to the opportunity to open a PC account with the same cp level as their original account. Not necessarily a transfer of our characters.
2: At least allows us the un-inhibited chance to re-purchase the crown store purchases we made, free of the timed-rotations or seasonal times for a limited time.
3: not as important: offer research completion scrolls at a one-time, discounted rate.
4: not as important: figure at a way to either transfer or buy our progress with motif and recipe library. I believe this can be done by simply copying and pasting the achievements but I don't really have the expertise with that to say.



Acceptable difficulties:

1: repurchase the expansions and the base game and everything else.
2: a transfer fee.

I will not continued to be bullied or shut off from a game that I pay for. I am will not fly with that. I would be wrong to say I am the only one that feels that way. I refuse to be treated like garbage simply because I was poor at one place in time. Not all of us are trash users whom are convicted felons or drug problems. Some of us came from being poor and should not be treated that we would be a problem to the PC community. If there is a difficulty with Sony or Microsoft to make such a venture happen, then ZOS/ Bethesda needs to call them out on this issue. If the updates with the PS4 are behind the loss in quality: Then Bethesda must call them out on it. This port of them game is barley being serviced and is getting nowhere near the amount of attention that it once had despite the population growth. Waiting for a new DLC release to make the game playable for a technical mistake is absurd and very unfair. I know for a fact, if it were a PC issue, it would be resolved right-away. I am not some trash in a rental park for former convicted felons. My money is good for you and you have never had a problem taking it. I do feel that there is a hesitation by ZOS in having low-income folks inter-mingling with high paying ones. To a degree, I understand: but, not all poor folks are poor because they deserve to be. Please look at this as a crash grab and at least be motivated by money, some of us will pay it.

I am aware of what was said before, but from here on out, I , myself will voice the need for this to happened or something like it: irregardless of ZOS's current plan.To encourage this to become a priority, we need to keep mentioning support for this.

Are 'Ball-Groups' even logical ?

This needs putting out there. I don't ever see them doing anything productive or fun and a solo gets better AP gain. I think they just do it for attention...

How many times you read... "**(random generic ball-group) at *** (random generic keep)" ?

Its like some players get kicks out of knowing which ball-group is which and that people will think they are cool for mention them (people use nameplates too, not me but ball group = easy AP to a solo so I remember some @names). Don't big-up these ball zergs, they are totally useless and are just trolling newbies or AD (AD are almost all newbies in Vivkek(EU) coz of morning caps). They feed off of undeserved hype.

So I guess the point is, what is the point of these portable Rugby scrums that just hold onto each others crotches and throw the ball backwards if they ever get it? Doesn't seem very progressive for 'wannabe' end-gamers and takes no skill what-so-ever.

I don't think they are logical, Royals were a very effective 12 man raid that equalled 20 man ZS but we were not ball, just had an inventive leader. Black Swords seem to be similar but never ran with them. AD and EP do not have this stuff.

As a PuG lead we can contain ZS, UF, DE, NL, Big Boss, Saras or anyone with 1/5 numbers because they are all so predictable and DC don't like to play like we were 7 year olds chasing a football so we know how to AvAvA with least pop.

Like a lot of things in life its like genitalia. Its not how big your zergs or balls are... Its what you do with them that counts.... ;)

*note..... I don't hate ball-groups I just feel sorry for them.




[POSSIBLE SPOILERS] Summerset - Navigate the Ebon Stadmont Forest

OK - so I started this quest. Then got distracted by another bloody elf and ended up doing HER quest
Andewen - The Ebon Forest
. I went back to this particular quest but I can't find anything anywhere of interest. The quest description is vague so that's not much help. If anyone could guide me through it or message me and let me know what to actually do in the quest, that would be great I've been through every portal but there are no indicators on the compass/screen

Pve player, been experimenting like crazy lately trying to find the right build to fit my playstyle. I like open world stuff, soloing the world bosses, soloing 4 man dungeons, I found a build I like but I'm missing a skill! Need a little help with what to add to hopefully boost up my damage in the dungeons and bosses.

Running a stamina 2h sorcerer. Right now using critical charge, brawler, hurricane and critical surge. What should I be using as my 5th skill to help boost up my damage a bit?

Xbox one achievement not unlocking

Hi!

I have completed Empeor! Achievement - in game everything appears to be functional around that, however the Xbox achievement for Emperor! Never arrived. Even on Xbox live online that achievement never showed up. ZOS keeps saying it’s xbox issue and xbox support keeps saying the game never send over completion notice. I have done everything suggested so far, even factory reset of console. I have even completed another achievement to see if it’s syncing issues and the other one did post, so I’m not sure why it keeps not working. I spend days not sleeping to achieve that and I’m not planing to do it again because of someone’s error. Also, cyrodiil froze on me and hundreds others the last 5 min of us getting EMP so I actually became EMP while frozen, if that could have anything to do with me not getting Achievement. This needs to get fixed !

Cyrodiil continually freezing

I'm not sure if I am the only one experiencing this issue, so I'm sorry if this is a repost. I'm on PS4 in the NA server. For whatever reason, ever since Summerset was released, Cyrodiil is unplayable. As soon as I come in contact with more than 2 enemies players, my entire game freezes. The battle music stays but the screen stops no matter what you do or press or even opening up another app like Netflix. This isn't just once in a while, this is every single time I log in to Cyrodiil. I have let it sit to see how long the game would stay like that and it doesn't unfreeze. I have to close the application and restart. If this is a simple fix and anyone has any tips, I'd be incredibly thankful.

New Player Race Possibilities?

It has been mentioned before, but... I thought it might be a good idea to have this foe easier reference, so...
Anyways, many people think there is ample room in ESO for more races then the "classic ten" which were not quite as classic as many others assume, actually (TES:Arena and TES-II:Daggerfall only had eight, imperials and orcs became playable only from TES-III:Morrowind onward; TES:Battlespire even had only six, missing also argonians and khajiit... and TES:Redguard obviously had only one through the premade character thing, but that doesn't really count anyhow)
...
So, let's take another look at the usual suspects, shall we?

First the ones we have already seen in the game as NPCs, even tho as antagonists (just like orcs were in the elder scrolls series, once upon a time... just like werewolves or vampires are, supposedly...):

Despite what some people might say, they are technically possible. They are around, they are (barely) intelligent enough to talk, cast spells and craft stuff, so... they could theoretically be player characters. Thay are also a bit... unwanted... all across tamriel, due to generally being too primitive to follow the laws civilized people live by, and thus usually end up killed on sight or enslaved for "their own good", so it may be a little iffy... but then, we also can make bretons and wander through stonefalls during the DC invasion attempt without getting murdered by our pact allies, so an exceptional gobbo becoming a hero may perhaps not be too far-fetched. It would however be a reasonable idea to give them some racial drawback to represent this bad reputation... like, penalties for vendor business (get less gold when selling, spend more while buying) and bounty reactions (gain double bounty for crimes?)

The sea elves would be entirely possible, they are around in this era, they are in the game, they have their own crafting style... all it needs is cobbling together some passives (maybe altmer/dunmer-istic but with storm damage bonus instead of fire?), and there we go. Yes, the race in general is isolationistic, and an antagonist race - and playing as maormer through the AD storyline or the Summerset expansion would be a little iffy. But no more so then playing as imperial in the bangkorai or reapers march questlines, or as DC race in bleakrock to stonefalls, or as AD race through shadowfen... (it might however be plausible to make maormer only playable for DC and EP, unless someone has an certain unlock... ;) Though perhaps not as proifitable, so I would not count on it...)

They can or can not be their own race, that is up to the developers, the lore would support both them being just primitive bretons, or them being a slightly different race thanks to lots of interbreeding with other people in the distant past... but they are in the game, have their own crafting style and so... easy to do if the powers that be decide they want to. Of course, again there are many questlines in Glenumbra, Bangkorai, The Rift or Orsinium where reachmen are the enemies, but... see above, no more iffy then having an imperial character fighting imperials in other quests or such.

...

...and then some we have heard of, or read about, but not actually really seen them...

...would be somewhat possible; they are technically around in this era, though they seem for some reason absent from valenwood in ESO, likely hiding somewhere in a pocket dimension like that vanishing village in greenshade (possibly in Falinesti) from Molag Bal and the soulburst troubles no doubt. But that would not preclude some being caught up in the issues and sacrificed by Mannimarco for vestige status before the rest of them got away... and thus becoming player characters (though there might be an inflated cost considering they seem to be a rare sight...)

...are not one race but four. There is little lore if all of them were part of the akaviri invasion that took place a mere ten years before ESO - but lore does say there were survivors from that one, which eventually would make their way to Rimmen in northern elsweyr (DLC possibility?) where they join up with some human akaviri descendants from earlier visits who had once been a strong power in the empire... and make a push into cyrodil somewhen between this time and the rise of Talos in three of so centuries, though they fail to grab the ruby throne for good like everyone else in this time period... so all of them may be technically viable lore-wise... (since even iof the invasion was mostly, say, Kamal like the lore might indicate, they could plausibly have brought allies or slaves of the other races with them) though since they ought to be somewhat rare, it is a little questionable if they would be done (or at what price - adding a surcharge for extra-rarity would seem likely)

These golden-skinned snakepeople may be possible, depending on how the powers that be choose to depict them in ESO... they -are- supposedly somewhere between argonians and lamias in body structure, so they -could- be done in a humanoid enough way to be viable for all equipment... (and thus as viable player race - the question if they have legs or not has yet to be entirely cleared by the lore) or there could be two kinds of them, like with the D&D Yuan-ti where one breed/caste might have a more snake-body lamia-ish body structure, the other a more humanoid one, thus keeping both options open, with the humanoid caste available as player character race (since I doubt anyone would play a race that could not use leg and foot armor slots, yes?)

The monkey people of the thousand islands would seem entirely possible as palyer race. But they better also come with polearms to use staves in battle, hear! ;)

Not much is known about the Ka Po'tun except they are somehow "tiger-like", which could mean anything... a feline race like the khajiit, or perhaps a rakshasa-equivalent with fur-less human bodies and tiger head? Or something half-furred in between? Or perhaps even tiger-centaurs (which would make them unsuitable as player race of course due to non-humanoid body)?

Or maybe they come in various forms like the khajiit depending on moon phases? Its really up to the developers, even though most fans envision them like the tiger-person picture I found... but there is little enough intormation that the poeple at ZOS could do as they wish with them...

Little is known about the "Snow Demons", except that they may have been the bulk of the recent invasion that spawned the ebonheart pact, and that they are rumored to freeze solid during winters - something that would make them a bit iffy when it comes to player characters and questing in eastmarch... however, noone can really say if that is not a mere rumor anyhow, it -might- just be indicating a cold-blooded reptilian race that are sluggish in winter and thus prefer to hide in warm caverns during that time...

The silver-skinned tribes of black marsh all died out in the Knarhaten flu. How-ever... that only happened twenty years before ESO, so its not entirely implausible that one or two "lone survivirs" managed to hold on, doomed to extinction, and got caught up in the troubles landing them in a coldharbour prison. They -could- be done as PC race, but if so, I would expect them to be as rare as apex mounts... either by hiding their racial unlock in crown crates at the same rarity, ot by charging an insanely inflated price.

Are in the same boat as the Kothringi. (not literally, since they for one were not taken aboard the crimson ship). Very unlikely as PC race, but not entirely impossible.

...and then, firmly on the "nope" side we have:

Playing as daedra is way more iffy, lore-wise, then anything else. I mean, come on... why would any quest giver trust a frikkin -demon- to actually help them??? Because that's what daedra are in TES lore! Thus any daedra who shows their face without some sorceror to hold their leash would be seen as mortal enemy, not potential ally. Remember how your stories all start with some sort of rescue? Well, forget that if you were a daedra! You'd get your throat slit before you even woke up after the coldharbour escape... you'd be a dead-ra at best! ;p ;)
Now, yes, it -would- be cool to play a dremora, dark seducer, skaafin or whatever... but it would not fit into ESO. If they ever make a TES game for it though... starting in oblivion, serving your dark masters, going to mundus for questing to avert some dire threat to oblivion itself, facing the usual mobs plus enraged mortals, with adventurer groups as "bossfights"... it could be fun! But it definitely is -not- ESO!

The deep elves are long gone in this era (with one exception), and they won't be coming back for as far as anyone knows - even in games set a thousand years later, noone has ever recorded seeing another living dwemer (and they would have, seeing how its one of the great mysteries of tamriel, and anyone who found out could have gotten free drinks from the fame along for life).
Only way we will see them is in some "flashback" quest, like the nedes or chimer - which is entirely possible. But never as player characters without some serious lore breakage.

...are for one not present on Tamriel at this era (Sea Sload incursions into Sumerset aside), since they generally live on isles to the southwest of the continent; for another may be structurally unsuitable as player characters - they are supposed to be sluggish fat slug people, barely able to support themselves on land, which may not be all that great for player characters (I always kinda think of jabba the hutt when I read about them...)

Snow Elves

...are long gone by the time of ESO. And the only remaining ones are in hiding until met in TESV:Skyrim-Dawnguard. Ther blind mutated descendants the Falmer may show up in some dwemer ruin beneath some skyrim reguin though...

Wild Elves / Ayleids

...have more or less been wiped out by the alessian rebellions, and the cyrodillic empire that rose in their wake; some possibly seeking sanctuary among the altmer... There are rumors occasionally, but those "hidden Ayleids" are kinda like the tamriel-tastic equivalent of elvis sightings... someone's father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate has seen one somewhere near someplace, they swear it was true... but whenever scholars go there to check, the reported Ayleids are nowhere to be found (or turn out to be a drunk altmer in torchlight dressing up in a costume on a dare).
And thus... ayleids not really viable as player-race, long gone and only their ruins remain... though perhaps possible as NPC... and rejoice! We meet just one such NPC in the course of the coldharbour assault questline..

Atmorans have become Nords... Youkudans have become Redguards... Nedes have become Imperials... Chimer have become Dunmer... Aldmer have become Altmer...
...making all those races part of history, and no longer around in their ancient incarnation.

As for all giants, lamia, ogres, minotaurs, or other races that have non-humanoid or oversized bodies - obviously those are all unsuitable for PC races (Can't have a player race that would clip through half the scenery after all! Or a player that needs a completely new set of animations!)

(So, I think this time I gathered all the thoughts in one place ;-) )

Items for decorations that are truly needed for Homestead such as Gold Bars, Silver Bars, and Gemstones that makes a big difference to your home and your liking. Decoration items should be different types of varieties why not loot?

ESO Class Reps

We’re excited to let everyone know we’re ready to announce the members of the ESO Class Representative Program! Everyone in the program has played ESO for years, and has hundreds, if not over a thousand days played. While some of these players may specialize in one or two classes in particular, everyone has max level characters in every class and is experienced in both PvP and PvE. It was a difficult decision to make and there were many qualified players, but we’re very thrilled to have these 12 players kicking off this new program.

After combing through almost 170 player nominations, we’d like to present the new ESO Class Representatives:

As a reminder, the class reps will be collating top concerns for every class to present to the Dev Team; they will not be making game-altering decisions, but they will make sure your voice is heard. After each quarterly meeting, the plan will be to publish notes so everyone can see what was discussed, and you can ask questions to the group. We’re tentatively scheduling the first meeting around the middle of June.

Build for fastest AP?

Hi all,

I have a DK and NB alt that I want to level alliance rank to 7 so I can unlock all the skills. Problem is I dont enjoy pvping with these 2 characters so i want to get there as quickly as possible.

Is there a build that would help me with AP gains? I know spamming Rapid Regen in a zerg is helpful, is there anything else that I can do to speed it up? And skills or gear set up?

Who Wants a CP Battleground Option?

I get why currently battlegrounds are no cp, but I would want zos to separate battlegrounds into a cp and no cp category, then allow the player to decide.

I want to be able to use the extra regen etc that I've grown accustomed to. Currently with no cp, bg has a very different feel and the gameplay is very different as a result.

Let us play the way we do in cyrodiil but in small groups zos.

I've tried everything. Doesn't happen on other games. What can I do? Has anyone got this?

I've raised several tickets, ends with talking to my ISP who say everything is fine. Because my internet connection is stable. I'm on my laptop at the same time as the PS4 disconnects. WHY? Help me! I'm going to cry everywhere

My thoughts (Melee-Stamina)

Why is it when I run 2h and medium armor I get comments like "you should use dw and spin and probably swap to heavy". This patch I feel even less competitve against magic casters.

So I swap to heavy and can definitely feel the difference but thats only because of 1 thing and the biggest key difference between heavy and medium.

And thats the healing

I want to run medium and still not feel hindered when I get into a fight and immediatley feel the need to LoS. But it seems we have been stuck with this heavy armor "meta" if thats what you want to call it then being pigeon holed into forward momentum on medium and heavy builds because shuffles is just not the better option.

In closing to that I think heavy is in a good posistion but could use a slight buff in certain points but medium needs a big rework, mainly in survivabilty. This could be done by making shuffle have a longer snare and imobile immunity and a slight cost reduction. I think people should want to pick medium by default when they pick up a stamina build and look at heavy as more of a utlitiy option. Also think the "sneak" passives are garbage and could be compiled

Now 2h vs DW

I think dw is in a good spot, shrouded daggers could be a little better but overall pretty nice balance right now.

2h on the other hand is completely garbage. Ive been playing d swing builds for a long time and i love it! But i think that its missing something.... like a performance thing like make the animation not so easy to break (ie roll through me) give us 2h users some time to react to someone who just is standing inside of me.

Also maybe make wrecking blow have no cast time so it could be weaved like surprise attack? Drop the empowerment? It would essentially help pve as well for more diversity

These are just some thoughts ive been having this week. Looking for some inputs, I hope I'm not sounding biased in this post but maybe it's my own issue. Please keep it constructive and voice opinions and opposing views. I want to know!

Are there any plans to implement support of tobii eye tracker 4c to ESO?
ESO can be first mmorpg with that support, still there is no mmorpg supported.
Support can vary from simplest - hide-away interface elements when player dont look at them, to advanced - choose particular item on the screen to interact, choose a target to interact, change hdr setting while player looking on bright or dim zone of the screen, etc.
