THE BLACK EMBRACE
..Is a newly-formed guild dedicated to creating a friendly, helpful environment with activities ranging from a casual experience to working towards the completion of difficult end-game content, as well as PVP content.
We are NOT a hard-core veteran trials guild that will DPS and gear-check members and suggest any player adopt a meta build - however we will strive to clear more difficult content that will require interested members to continually improve. An ideal recruit to the The Black Embrace will have the patience and helpfulness to work with fellow guild members to master new content through repeated attempts without frustration.
We are Aldmeri Dominion based, and encourage all members, regardless of preferred faction, to create an AD character to join us in Cyrodil campaigns – all experience and character levels welcome! We will also host dueling events and encourage battleground teams.
Members disinterested in difficult end-game content or pvp activities will still find events, groups, and less demanding trial opportunities. We use Discord for most of our guild organization. It’s
required you utilize the app, as it will be our primary tool for trial and event sign-ups.
We currently have a guild hall in Summerset with all services.
WHAT WE ARE NOT :
If you’re looking for a trading guild, there are plenty out there dedicated to selling your goods. We would rather focus on playing together and experiencing content over dealing with bidding and collecting dues from members. Should guild success allow us the bandwidth to branch out into trading, we will explore the idea at that time.
Though we do look forward to tackling the more difficult content ESO has to offer, we are not a hard core guild that cares to DPS check and micro-manage group activity on an extreme level. If you’re a veteran/elite player who wishes for more requirements for difficult content clears, we may not be for you – however if you have the interest to contribute and a free guild slot we would welcome your knowledge.
If your goal is to find guild to effortlessly carry you through trials – that’s not us. While we have members with Trials experience, it’s the challenge and camaraderie that appeals to us and this should be your focus as well.
THE BORING STUFF:
We have no specific policy regarding age limits, activity levels, or language in discord and in-game text and voice channels. All members are expected to treat each other in a positive and respectful manner. Guild Officers will use their best judgment to address excessive or obnoxiously vulgar or inappropriate language and content in chat channels.
We have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to antagonistic behavior. Intolerant or harassing activity will result in immediate removal from the guild.
