Do you like the siege changes introduced in update 18?

Catapults now have their area damage persist in the world for 8 seconds after impact, resulting in better area denial.
For example, a meatbag catapult will leave an area of healing reduction and damage over time for 8 seconds, instead of just applying those effects on impact to players in the area.
Increased the Ballista damage versus Siege weapons by approximately 17%.
Reduced the Ballista damage versus players by 10%.
Particularly the catapult lingering on the ground change?

Vivec Xbox is unplayable

I finally get my queue. Ride to keep to defend, and i can't get in the door, can't cast etc.. Game crashes. I have to log in 3 times (it always takes 3 times).I spawn back at gate, port to next keep since we lost the last one, can't cast etc... game crashes... 3 more log in attempts. This was my first 15 minutes of PVP today. The only thing ZOS got right about this event was the title because it is definitely mayhem.

What gear and skills are magblades using to always remain invisible and some rotation help.

I have a magblade, but I can't seem to cloak longer than 4 secs. I see other magblades that seem to cloak once but are able to run from one side of cyrodiil to other and never be seen.

Also, what skills are you using in your burst. My burst seems to hit like a wet noodle. I'm sure it's a l2p issue for this, but I'd like to have a general idea of what skills to have and the correct order.

Xbox EU - Can't connect / Xbox USA - Can connect --> EU Login server down?

As stated in title.

I cannot login to Xbox EU, while I can login if I select USA server.

Most likely a Xbox EU login server problem. I tried to login for about 10x, same result.

And no, this has nothing to do with reinstalling the game. USA server works, EU server does not. :)

Sigil need to be removed from Deathmatch mode

With Summerset we will finally be able to choose to participate in game modes, which is great change. Deathmatch will be most popular game mode for organized teams and their fights should not be downgraded to mindless rush for sigil and free double dmg allowing to get kills way too easy. Please remove sigil from battlegrounds.

It says I need to find the predicant meera at the Alliance gate In Cyrodiil..... Now no matter what I do I just cant seem to get to Cryodiil. If anyone has any information it would be really helpful as it is wrecking my brain at the moment haha

Anyone else seeing quite a few EP @names on AD characters? I've been seeing more and more just standing in the fields- not actually fighting alongside AD. One literally hopped around in place while three EP fought me. There's no way that cross-factioning could be used to manipulate campaigns... :/

Mayhem disconnects and lag

Multiple crashes from Cyrodiil (Vivec) and excess lag during keep fights - I should say more than usual.

Perhaps schedule Mayhem for a later date, or at least until PvP is fixed?

Network Issues and ESO

So we all post here complaining about ESO. My problem is when I hate a crowded area, the game freezes and no one is moving. Then I crash back to the home screen and NOT the dashboard (X1).
Now I noticed this happens most often when my family is streaming Netflix. But this morning I was the only on and no issues.

So my question is for you guys that don’t have too much lag problems, what network do you have? I have 50mbps

Title says it all.

I can que up in other games and pvp immediately. May not have the best gear, but that not the issue.

Allow transmutation of any gear to Impenetrable w/o the ridiculous cost. Or ZOS, would you prefer I take advantage of other vendors good will?

Buff to medium armor?

Medium armor needs a little bit of a buff in my opinion. Both in PvP and PvE medium armor isnt really used unless you're a nightblade sadly. In PvE you're so squishy most groups just run mageblade for dps. In PvP more and more things and sets are becoming undodgeable and medium armor is again suffering. Some of its passives like reduce sneak is useless completely as it isnt needed in pve or pvp unless you're a ganker. Shuffle had less of a snare immunity then forward momentum which to this day I have no idea why. Most of the time i see heavy armor people with speed pots and forward momentum just turbo away faster then they would in medium armor and it's insane, forward momentum also only costs 2600 stam while shuffle costs 3900 and you have to cast it every 2.5 seconds while you only have to cast momentum every 8 seconds and for less WHAT!?!?! Something that's built for speed and momentum like medium armor should not get out ran by someone in heavy if they were constantly being snared over and over again. With the change to wings it's still behind a full armor weight is being matched by 1 class skill and 1 weapon skill, they can gain the same or more snare immunity for less resources better advantages and can still run heavy or light armor. The medium armor passives are good but some can use a rework like the mentioned sneak reduction and even the passive weapon damage could be buffed from 12% a little. The fact is most classes struggle in medium armor and it's being pushed more and more to the side in my opinion. In open world and PvE, I think some kind of aoe damage mitigation or some kind of mitigation on medium armor would make it a little more In line with the tankiness of heavy armor and the wards of light armor.
I think something along the lines of reducing damage over time and AoE damage by 15% or 20% would help the survival of medium armor by a lot and would make it more useful

Don't let this be yet another PTS with zero Race balancing

Argonian and Redguard are not balanced by any sense of the word. Redguard is superior for DPS in PvE because of the sustain bonuses and 10% Stamina and Argonian is far above superior for tanking in PvE as well as in DPS for both Magicka and Stamina races in PvP for several classes all because of the Resourceful passive on top of 9% health and 10% extra healing.

Sustain and healing is what matters more than anything else right now between the Races and Nord, Khajiit, Imperial, and Breton all suffer in those areas making them third and fourth place choices for almost everything. And it's not a small percent difference in PvP. Playing as Argonian gives a huge benefit because of that Resourceful passive not requiring you to spec anything into Recovery stats to benefit. It's like having a bonus Tri Stat Recovery Drink for free that's further boosted by the new Infused Jewelry trait with Potion cooldown glyphs.

I'm fine with Redguard and Argonian not being nerfed at all but these other Races are not balanced in PvE or PvP and the difference is too noticeable now.

Player Bounty Idea

I used to play Star Wars Galaxies. One of the nice features was a player bounty system. A bounty hunter could hunt down Jedi players while they didnt suspect it.

What if this game employed a similar mechanic? Heres an idea.

If you're racking up a lot of kills in PVP after a certain point your player starts to gain a bounty. It gets bad enough that opposing factions start performing the black sacrament to have the brotherhood hunt you down.

At that point, anyone who is high enough in the dark brotherhood could obtain your quest from a npc to hunt you down. And they could strike anywhere at anytime.

Thoughts?

Magplar PvP

So I'm still pretty new to magicka classes in PvP (old stam DK main) and I need some advice. I can get some kills but I'm WAY too squishy.

I'm currently running:
2 Skoria (heavy)
5 Spinners (chest, legs. boots, Nirnhoned inferno staff)
5 Wizard's Riposte (belt, gloves, jewelry)
2 Song of Lamae (sword and shield on back bar).

Anyone have any advice for a newbie Magplar?
