So I’ve actually never seen someone leave a bg but I’ve been dashboarded on Xbox every so often and it counts as a leave penalty. It doesn’t happen much, but it shouldn’t count as a leave for the first one for reasons like this.. thoughts?

combat companions

i think there should be combat companions in the game...they can be either capable of minor tanking, minor heals, or minor damage...VERY minor for each...so they can help on pve quests and such and because theyre more into what is happening in game, it feels more intuitive and realistic than the ones we have now...those who dont want the companions, dont have to use them, and in pvp they can either have very low health, or simply become more like the current companions...but i solo a lot and think it would be cool if i have an actual person with me that does stuff other than watch me...

What do we need servers for? Let's have an off line mode.

I don't know much about MMOs so I am asking so I can understand better. If I am not mistaken servers are so everyone can play together. So if people like me play ESO as a single player game, then why can't we play off line? After all we have these huge files on our PC/consoles. It's not like we are streaming a game or needing a server to play since we have all the files on our platform of choice. Why can't we have an off line mode? Reason I ask is because what ever happened to this update or maintenance fix the game is so laggy now for me. I am even having trouble fighting mud crabs. Where I thought I was fighting one, all of a sudden 3 come. When fighting an alligator, he doesn't move then transports infront of me. I am trying to pick up a flower and it takes over 15 seconds to do so.

So my question is why can't I play the game off line? I would still be paying for me ESO+. Heck I might even spend money on crowns if the game plays properly and smoothly for me. People who want to play with friends or with others, let them play online like normal but for those of us who want a single player experience or want smoother play we can play off line. I am sure if lots of us are off ling, the online experience would be better for others than.

So why not best of both worlds? How come no off line mode for those who want it?

Hi guys,

What do you think of my lazy one bar hard to kill pet sorc.

No bar swapping, (the very thought causes me to panic and get killed in pvp).

It relies on staff damage, small damage from pet (with heal) entropy ( with heal from light/heavy attacks), hardened ward, and frustration from opponents that can’t kill me most of the time..

5 elegant pieces including Fire staff. What suggestions for enchant?

5 necro

1 pirate skeleton

1 grondrhr

Mage mundos.

Salmon millet food (max magic and health)

CP 590 ish.

Mage points Mainly in Staff damage.

Stamina points in break free, roll dodge

Health points in bastion, hardy, thick skinned.

What’s your thoughts? Anybody else just like to one bar it!!!

What about decent provisioning station for player's houses?

What about decent provisioning station for player's houses? No sane person would put an open fire in the kitchen! But this is the only kind of station which is available for players (pic. 1). A crown, Clockwork one is not appropriate for the majority of houses, because it is quite large and expensive (pic. 2). And in the the end we have nothing to place at all. But everyone want to be able to cook in their one houses.

What do I suggest? There are a few stations in game which are not available for players (pic. 3). It would be awesome if players could use them in game and, for exemple, buy their gold chematics for vouchers, for gold (as achievement furniture) or at least for decent sum of crowns.

The problem with rune cage isnt because you can use it at 28m away (lol) and it is unblockable/undodgeable (lol) its that CC immunity is 5 seconds long and it is way to hard to reliably hit people that are moving around ( 500x time harder for melee). when you have a CC that is super easy to hit and WILL hit when its on CD is really stupid.

no im not gonna suggest how to fix rune cage because its really not hard to just slap a nerf on that keeps people from spamming it.

Group vs Group Duels

Why are there not group vs group duels already? This simple addition would add so much life to the PvP. A few things it would add/make possible:
- Guild vs Guild duels
- Guild vs Guild tournaments
- Prestige in guild membership
- A new form of pvp where there hasn’t been anything new for a while
- Semi-customized pvp - you can control who you are fighting- something you can’t do in BG’s and Cyrodiil


Plain and simple- THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN. Drop whatever stupid BG map your designing or new useless armor sets and make this happen pronto.

During the CWC & DBones patches, Rune Cage was a skill so lacklustre that the vast majority of Sorcs didn't bother slotting it, instead defaulting to the Master's destro staff for their source of a spammable and CC.

With the changes in PTS 4.1.2, Cage has been largely reverted to this state.

It'll undoubtedly still be an OP zerging tool, since it reliably locks-down a target while the zerg more than compensates for the lack of a damage tooltip. But in any other context, expending an entire GCD to accomplish nothing except CC your opponent is really detrimental to burst, which is why many preferred Reach-spam pre-Summerset.

EDIT: As of 6 August, Rune Cage has not only lost its damage (4.1.2 change), but has also been made dodgeable (4.1.3 PTS notes). The skill itself is now significantly and objectively worse than in CWC/DBones, while the Cage + Meteor combo as a whole is weaker as meteor no longer self-empowers.

I'll probably go back to Master's destro, and was wondering if that's the general direction that the meta is headed. In the event that Magsorc does get shoehorned back into the Reach + DBoS combo, I think it bodes really poorly for the class that was already below mid-tier in CWC/DBones, but has received (or will receive) additional direct and indirect nerfs since then:
  • dodgeable Fury
  • sacrificing 2 frontbar slots for Master's destro
  • possibly increased Wings prevalence next patch
  • Sload's (can't really afford to dodge this consistently, even post-nerf)

So, forum Sorcs, what will be your CC of choice in Wolfhunter?

Has anyone tested new defensive rune changes yet? Our anti gank tool?

Does it for example say a nb puts bleeds on you but he has shuffle, does it proc and waste the cage proc but still not affect them? Def rune was the best defensive for nbs.

Suggestion to change to 8 seconds. Largely a backbar set for classes like magicka sorcs, this nerf completely removes it from the option table further pigeonholing the class into 1 of like 3 options. Horrible.

The debuff was OP for providing it on multiple targets at once and for the length of time...but 5 seconds doesn't even allow it enough to be active while setting up a burst rotation.
To front bar the set means I lose 2k magicka and 1k stamina( domi/grothdar) which is not a favorable loss at all, or the use of a 2pc monster set.

Further, rune cage is back to useless which means back to the Reach meta. This also means Masters inferno staff which in conjunction with the riposte adjustment just ruins my set up. But my bias reasons aside, the nerf was way too much...8 seconds and I would live with it.


Something to keep in mind is the stat loss and dmg loss using this set. I am already trading dmg for survivability and now that option is neutered.

hello,
i know this post will recieve a lot of hate and negative comments but i wanna share my honest opinion about cyrodill server performance. This is because i can see that people keep having problems but most of the players, either have just accepted the server's struggle to stay alive , or either they dont want to admit that server's performance is poor only because they dont want to promote any more negativity towards the developers.
All that are said below concern EU VIVEC server. Its the most populated server and the one that most people play. If u are about to comment that i should try another server (like non cp or the 7day campaigns) i will answer that i dont want to play alone or with 10 other people at 90% of the time. People play Vivec cause of the large battles and the excitement of rushing to capture keeps and taking part in big sieges and thats what im after.

So firstly i would like to admit that i honestly LOVE this game and have something around 1000hours played (not that much i know but a decent amount). The thing i enjoy the most is PVP (in any game not just in eso) and i tend to play in cyrodill mostly. Most of the times i try to hop into cyrodill at non prime time, like early evenings or late night cause less people are online and server's performance is decent-good. At those times i can play without any issue and everything runs as smooth as possible. Everything changes when times goes by ,more people come in and server gets a decent amount of players in queue . At those times there is a delay in every skill activated ,but be sure that after all this time playing the game i am totally fine with it. Its understandable for a server with a big amount of players struggling and having some latency issues.I can honestly deal with some 200ish ping and some delay.

The thing that i am most irritated and most dissapointed as a customer is that i get timed out and disconnected when a zerg is nearby (everytime) or whenever there are fights happening with over 30 players at a keep. This happens almost every time i encounter anything like this in cyrodill.
I have to notice though that only for ONCE after the summerset update i enjoyed a full scale 2hour and 30minute (estimated time!!!) siege that all 3 factions took place surely with 100players(should be so) in roebeck and i was so proud that i only disconnected ONE time. Of course latency was very high but most important thing is that disconnects didnt happen to most of the players, although lots of people kept logging in claiming they got timed out many times.

So with all of those constant time outs and disconnects that happen regularly , how can someone believe that a PVP related event is going to work out? As of this time i am writing this i have been trying for 1 hour to stay in EU VICEC cyrodill and enjoy the full stacked server but i get timed out even when im not near any battle. People keep coming into pvp even if they never tried it before and it makes the server struggle even more. Its completely unresponsive!! Sure opening a couple of servers sure took some heat off the main server but its not working out.

How can someone excpect implementing this huge event into this really problematic pvp server with this absolutely terrible performance to be acceptable? I find the lack of reports from other players about this issue kinda disturbing.Just for the simple reason that developers will just wait untill the event goes away or players will be driven away by poor performance and things will operate great again. Game is in desperate need of a performance improvement only because summerset performance improvements didnt work at all.

I dont thing i have all my thoughts shared with any brave warrior that is going to read this monstrosity but i honestly dont care cause most people will comment only to judge me.
One last thing to prevent any keyboard warriors from losing their time my pc setup can run any other game without any trouble like battlefield 1 ,GTA5 , witcher 3 at high settings always above 60fps.Also my internet connection is more than enough so save your time.

Guide on How to Optimally Farm Transmutation Crystal [In Progress]

Hello ESO Forum Community,

I want help to figure out how best to optimize and efficiently farm crystal geodes using the current system in place for both pvp, pve and mixed pvp/pve players. I know a lot of you may be disheartened over the low drop rates and the inherent RNG but this is not the post to talk about that. Instead let’s think how we can get the most bang for our buck. :smile:

To preface from patch notes:
• Transmutation requires Transmute Crystals, precious resources occasionally received for successfully completing Veteran PvE activities such as Pledges, Trials, and Arenas, and several PvP sources such as Rewards for the Worthy, Battleground end of match rewards, and AvA end of campaign rewards. Transmute Crystals are an account wide , capped currency (100 or 200 for ESO+) which cannot be banked or traded.


Guaranteed Drops Rates are below:
Weekly 12 person veteran/normal trials Quest: 5 crystals
Weekly PvE trial Leaderboards: 5 crystals
Normal Random Normal Daily: Green Tier Geode (Estimated 1 crystal)
Veteran Random Normal Daily: ???
vDSA: 5 crystals
vMSA: 4 crystals
10 day Cyrodil Campaign leaderboards: 10 crystal
30 day Cyrodil Campaign Leaderboards: 50 crystals
Battleground End of Match Rewards: ???

RNG Drop Rates for Uncracked Transmutation Geodes
1st Reward of the Worthy (RotW) (20k AP): Gold Tier Geode: (4-25 crystals)
HM Pledge: Purple Tier Geode: (1-10 crystals)
Final boss of Veteran dungeon: Low Chance for Purple Tier Geode (1-10 crystals)


A few concerns and personal observations:
1st point: I “farmed” vFG1 3 times and only 2 drops occurred for the final boss. This puts farming vet dungeons at a roughly 1/6 chance (4 ppl, 3 runs) to receive a purple geode tier reward (1-10 crystals)
2nd point: I received RotW yesterday on my PvP alt and then again today after 24hrs. I only received a Gold Tier Geode (4-25 crystals) on the first day. I think this is only a weekly drop per toon, not sure yet.
3rd point: Farming 20k AP is most efficient on the winning team or in small groups where you can kill lots of Pvpers. Taking keeps and resources in a Zerg are most likely and unfortunately your best ways to hit RotW ASAP.
4th Point: Farm the fastest and easiest normal trial like HRC and AA first before talking the longer and relatively more difficult ones like HoF and SO.

Conclusion:

I think the best way to farm these crystals is by completing all normal trials quests (HRC, AA, SO, MoL, HoF, AS) for 30 guaranteed crystals then complete RotW on every toon in either Vivec (Cp) or Sotha Sil (no-CP) campaigns for 4-25 per geodes.

This would be a better addition to add towards the stam Dk. what do you guys think? i know stam Dk's have poison abilities, maybe add a minor defile to the whip when the enemy is off balance?

If I turn off any outfit my character is wearing and quit the game, when I log in again later the outfit is back on, the same happens when porting between houses, leave one house with no outfit active and arrive at the other house with it back on.

This is on PC-NA and occurs with add-ons disabled.
