hello I was a few days ago I downloaded the free version of the game Elder Scroll online and 17/08/2018 I bought the original version the Elder scrollsonline summerset through the store playstation(ps4)

and paid the amount but so far I can not launch the game and ask me to buy.

Damage Monster Sets

I recently switched sets and am ironing out my build and am comparing monster sets. I currently am running a medium stam sorc with impreg and bone pirate and want to round the build out with a good damage monster set. I feel good about my sustain and survivability but my damage had gone down a bit from switching an offensive set to impreg.

I'm looking at selene, velidreth, slimecraw, or mixing up two weapon damage sets or one weapon damage with one kragh. I'm mostly leaning towards slimecraw or mixing raw stats because I don't like using procs but I read that in CP slimecraw loses value from stacking increased damage and really only comes out to less than 6% bonus. Another option would be to stick with bloodspawn for the increased Ult gen but I'm pretty happy with the extra defense I'm getting from impreg and would prefer more damage than defense at this point.

Any suggestions? I want to try slimecraw but this is the only option I listed that I don't have a shoulder for so I would have to grind some pledges (gross) and try to get lucky.

Do you have a game that still blue screens you, and crashes this much? How many times do you have to make people relog back in after 1. Trying to take a keep? Or 2 fighting? I dont see why people should need to relog back in numerous times to catch a load screen, then lose an AP tick because they crashed. Or even worse get booted out of pvp to then sit in a queue. This game is beyond ridiculous! Fix the game seriously..

Hey all

I started playing 2 months ago. Just hit 1000k gold plus a 300k home. Really just selling stuff I have obtained through drops and gathering. Not yet crafting to try and make profit.

My question is twofold; I see people in game begging for 3000g for respecs for example, but given my experience I can't see how people can not have excess gold in game. Can anyone offer some insight into this?

Leading on from the above question, given how easy it appears to earn gold is it too easy or should there be more gold sinks?

I want to raise the problem of currently used Cyrillic font once more, but now here, in the General ESO Discussion section, because it seems, that almost no one checks the Bug Section of the forum.

Not long ago there was a thread on the forum about this particular problem and... many loosely connected to the topic problems, which worries our "western partners" a lot, but it was thrown to the trash can in the end. Literally, it's gone. I guess, it wasn't civil enough or something.

Right, to the point now. As all people here probably knows, since the update 2.5 the game supports Cyrillic alphabet. The problem with the font devs decided to use one can see in the screenshots below.

On the left one can see current font used in the game, on the right, the Cyrillic font with an addon, that fixes this problem for PC users, though console users don't have such luxury.

This font is so bad, that sometimes it even forces some people to say unpleasant things about the Russian community in the whole. But even smart enough people find such font rather distracting, even those who know the language, but for some reasons don't have the addon installed. Maybe some people find it shocking, but Russian speaking players use it for the same purpose as "Latin" people do, to communicate with each other. Consider also, that there are almost no complains about, for example, French and Deutsch messages in the English chat. I think, the main reason for that is the sprawling Cyrillic font. К и р и л л и ц а ,  you see?

I think, it must be changed. It would be better for all if devs apply such a small fix next patch. Also, I hope, that this humble request will not be ignored again.

Also, considering the growing population Russian speaking players (mostly because of the Russian localization, the result of selfless labor of enthusiasts), it would be wise to add /ru zone chat.

And one more thing, comrades. The Russian language is not the only one, which uses the Cyrillic letters. I'll give you at least two extra examples, but there are more.

about 20-30% of the time when I teleport to a player home I get an endless load screen. This seems to have started with the latest update and is infuriating. Please fix it.

So I play PC, but I couch game with a controller.

Yes, I'm aware that this is sacrilege and that I should be deeply ashamed of myself. I live with this shame every day *nods*

Anyway, can the controller scheme be improved so that the quest toggle button is changed to a secondary potion while in combat?

I'd decided, about a day after picking up the Daggerfall Overook, that I wanted to turn it into a cathedral. It makes sense, actually, to have that upper room (usually a bedroom) turned into a scriptorium. My problem, having picked this up just after summerset dropped, was that I wanted really nice, wide bookshelves, and for quite a while, you couldn't get them. And, honestly, the alinor bookshelf walls really wouldn't fit there. So, I was astounded and pleased when I peeked into Rolis Hlaalu's stuff the other day and found that there were gold patterns for the item I most wanted, the bookcase seen next to the alchemist's station in the alinor crafting area. I have now not only purchased the pattern, but made a pair of the shelves. I have it accented with a quartet of the alinor writing desks and a pair of podiums. for lighting, I've added in a trio of the psijic lights, which give it a beautiful blue glow. But, thanks, Zos, for giving me the tools to at least get that part of my decorating right. I really did need those bookcases, and they work perfectly there.

It takes no skill. An affect that lets you survive based on rng is stupid. The only dodge in the game should be dodge roll, because you are actually reacting to something.

Instead of major evasion, have shuffle offer something active that the player can use while controlling. Maybe aoe protection so we don't have to rely on blade cloak in pve?

P.s. I main a stamblade, so not, this is not a magicka vs stamina rant.

Let's talk about Snipers in Battleground

First of foremost, my definition of "Snipers":

"People that simply stands still in one point, very far from the fight, that do not engage actively in the fight, and simply start sniping / poison injecting everyone, getting kills by doing almost nothing".

Yes, that is, they just stand still in one point, trying to not be seen by other players, spam two skills, and get kills.

Personally I found them very irritating to say the least. I find this gameplay one of the most tedious allowed at the moment in this game. Most of the times, if you don't have a ranged build, you can't really do anything. If you try to get to them, you get sniped in the way (expecially if there are more than one in the same team). Yes, if you manage to get them, they are very easy to kill. They are glasscannons, they have no defense and go down very easily. But, most of the times, you just can't get them. Because you get sniped in the way. And because 90% of the times they are also nightblades, so as soon as they realize that someone is chasing them, they just cloack and disappear. Puff, they are gone. They go away, find another very far position, and restart from the beginning. So most of the times the only thing you can do is just try to get out of sight and avoid to be sniped (almost impossible if some maps like Foyada Quarry).

When I'm put in a battleground and I realize that there are two or more snipers on the other team, I'm often tempted to just leave the battleground and get a deserter penalty.

Most of the times, I start simply ignoring the battleground rules. No matter if it's crazy king, capture the flag or domination. I just slot my detect potions, and I go with one simple and clear mission: kill the snipers, hit them as hard as I can, and teabag them all the time, until they disappear and respawn. I just ignore all the rest.

Yes, I know, I have a problem with snipers. I just can't stand them anymore. I'm to the point that as soon as I hear the "snipe" sound effect I start going nuts. This is probably related to the "Snipe + Sload" combo I had to face for so much time after the Summerset release. It was really irritating. Whenever I am hit by two or tre snipes coming out of nowhere, I'm always tempted to smash my keyboard into pieces, shut down my computer, uninstall ESO and quit this game forever. I think this type of gameplay shouldn't be allowed, or, at least, shouldn't be so rewarding like it is at the moment.

Most of the times, they are the ones with the highest kills / assist / score in BG. They allow their team to dominate the matches. They just hit two buttons, and yet they have the highest score, whitout actively engage in the fight and show combat skills. They snipe and defile the enemies from distance, and if they don't get the kills with two shots, the rest of the team finish the job and slaughter you with one last skill.

As more people are realizing this, they are spreading everywhere like a plague. Battleground are becoming every day more and more irritating for me.

But I know that I have a problem with snipers, and that I have a very biased point of view.
So I just wanted to ask: what do you think about this build type?
Are you happy with them as they are at the moment?
Do you think this gameplay should be less rewarding, or are they fine as they are at the moment?
Am I the only one that has a problem with this gameplay?

Hello,

I’m about to attempt stage 5. I’ve watched several videos but I still have one question I can’t find the answer to.

If the trolls destroy the platforms, do they respawn each round? For example, if I miss a troll during one of the early rounds and he destroys a couple of islands, will they come back for the boss round?

If they don’t, would it be smart to wipe and start the round over if you miss one?

Overland and questing difficulty overhaul

One huge problem a I find with the game is how boring and ridiculously easy overland and questing mobs/bosses are. What is the point of going through story lines (which are for the most part awesome) which context involve you saving villages, cities from eminent danger if there is no danger at all. One shotting mobs is pretty pathetic imo. What if we had different options to deal with that? Here are some potential solutions, and I'd be interested to know who would be interested in those or if anyone has better ideas:

Medium Armor - Why it's Bad & How to Fix it

Light and Medium Armor do not compare favorably to Heavy Armor (mostly in PvP: it’s easier to get good damage, sustain, and mitigation from heavy)

So after reading the notes from last class rep meeting I thought I'd make this thread, maybe get some opinions from other people as well.

The way I see it is that medium armor doesn't underperform compared to heavy because it lacks damage (you get more damage in medium & can even run a strong heavy set like Ravager or Fury as jewelry/weapons), not because of mitigation (that is heavy armor's thing: tanking damage), not because of less healing but rather because it lacks the unique edge it should have over other builds: mobility.

Currently the biggest obstacles to surviving in medium armor are undodgeable abilities, and most of those happen in melee range (jabs/sweeps, spin2win, fossilize etc), as well as various boss mechanics in PvE.


So what I'm trying to say is that instead of nerfing heavy armor's damage or giving medium armor more mitigation/healing, perhaps more thought should be put into how medium armor builds could use mobility better to avoid damage (i.e. outrange undodgeable melee abilities, run behind LOS faster etc). Here's a few ways medium armor could be improved in this regard:

Forward Momentum
8s->4s

When this ability is used in a heavy armor build, they're able to become just as snare/root resistant as a medium armor dodge roller - even more so if that medium armor player uses Shuffle (only 2s snare/root immunity). I think Forward Momentum also prevents people from kiting heavy armor builds, which means they get to stay on top of you and keep dealing damage constantly (making them seem much stronger damage wise than they actually are). This is why 4s (or even 2s) duration would be much more appropriate for this skill.

Shuffle
2,5-3,5s->8s

Medium armor should have the best mobility in the game - this is why Shuffle needs to be improved. It is one of the most expensive stamina skills in the game, so having to constantly refresh a 23s duration ability for two seconds of snare immunity is pretty messed up.

Athletics Passive
Increases the Movement Speed bonus of Sprint by 3% for each piece of Medium Armor equipped.

I think there's not much value in this part of the passive, especially considering that most top tier builds already run two Swift jewelry and go way beyond the speed cap (making Sprint useless). I believe a flat movement speed increase for medium armor builds would help a lot (as sprinting is extremely risky in PvP and not just due to the sprint bug) and would let medium armor builds run something else than Swift jewelry or still run Swift jewelry if speed cap was increased. Which brings me to...

Speed Cap

It is way too easy to reach it. All you need is one swift jewelry and Major Expedition and you already go over it while sprinting. Stamina sorcerers don't even need Swift jewelry to reach it (thanks to Minor Expedition). Same with werewolves, who go way beyond the cap if they happen to wear medium & sprint.

Two swift jewelry and you basically don't even notice a difference between normal movement speed and sprinting.


Speed cap should be increased from 200% to 250% in my opinion, or alternatively sprint speed should be able to go ignore the cap (as it's an additive +40% bonus anyway, or 61% with 7 medium).

Solo Dungeons

Can we please have an option for solo versions of dungeons and trials?

Wanting to go through and enjoy the story of the dungeon is ruined by the fact you'll get kicked out of the group for 'lagging behind' 90% of the time, or just have everyone leave the moment the last boss is killed and you get force-kicked out. This is ridiculous, why not just let us run through on our own for fewer rewards/experience, while keeping all daily exp rewards in group dungeon mode?
