Hello combat team, how u decide to use blade cloak effect to replace current major evasion, they are both two different mechanics, I dont get it.

I barely write here in the forums, only written one other post and i only do this when i'm concerned with the direction of the game.

There is 3 main issues with the game that i think makes it lack build diversity.

1: Gear
2: Skills
3: Champion point system

Number 1.

I think ESO has to few viable sets for each class/playstyle and tons and tons of bad sets that no one use. I suggest rework most of all sets and make them more viable and fun to use.
And by fun i mean let the 5 piece, 3 piece bonus be an affect or maybe affect some of your skills? Maybe a specific skill?
Or maybe create more sets with an affect that you only need 2-3 pieces (not only jewelry, weapon or monster sets) and when you combine these different sets you can get a really fun/good build :).

Number 2.

I think ESO need to rework skills/morphs that sucks or that no one use. And not only class skills, all skills.
More skills or all skills should have a morph that one is stamina and one is magicka based, and to be viable :).

Number 3.

I think the whole champion point system need a rework. I feel there is no sense of progression and it is really boring. Make the system more interesting, less numbers and %.
And to get additional 30 points in updates is lame. I don't care if i now can get an additional 0,15% extra in resist per spent point, it's futile.
I suggest put in some talents/skills that you can get in the champion trees. Or if you reach a certain champion point mile stone you get to modify/upgrade a skill of your choice?
There is so many ideas and things that can be implemented in this system.

I know this would probably not happen, would take alot of time, effort and would it benefit ZOS? Would they get more players by doing this?
Would they loose players by not doing this? Yes :wink:.

I just wish they would do a big update like this :(.

Against my better judgment, I will give this one last go. I believe that, for the most part, the discussions have been fun and enjoyable. I feel that I've gotten to know some people on other factions a bit, and it is cool being killed by someone you recognize! :) Anyway, let's stick to talks of builds, funny stories (like the time I got jumped by 8 AD as I rode across the bridge and they bashed me to death as I fell out of my chair laughing), map strategy, which in game snacks you prefer, and of course... Ice trebs.

Summerfall Event

We heard about a "Summerfall" event during the Bethesda Community Day (at PAX West) a few weeks ago. It was said that this event would take place during September, and we are now almost halfway through the month without so much as a whisper about it -- we don't even know what it is!

Anyone have additional information about this? Perhaps the CMs can tell us more.

Really great job ZOS at balancing the patch notes, add as much as recovery sets as you want but you are killing if not already destroyed completely any magicka builds for future especially talking about PvP here.

Since most of the sorc comments are related to shields (and understandably), I would like to start some feedback on Dark Conversion/Dark Deal, this will mainly be from a StamSorc perspective.

Overall, I understand the attempted change, with the mobility of a stam sorc, we can easily duck around a corner and pop a dark deal or 2 and be back at high health/stam and jump right back in the fight. This is a class defining skill that appears to be overnerfed. Disclaimer: Don't have PTS downloaded yet, so working off of math based on patch notes.

Let's compare to the closest other class: Warden. Received a 60% buff to netch regen, that takes warden from 4029 stam regen to 6441 over 27 seconds with an instant cast, no cost and provides a small heal due to Bond with Nature Passive. Warden also has soothing spores to work as a burst heal as required. Overall this is a great change for warden, I don't want this nerfed/reverted.

StamSorc: Dark Deal tooltip currently in live: 8784 health and 4878 stam with 1.2 second cast time at 3078 magicka cost. Per the notes, this change will change dark deal to heal for the same amount immediately after cast and restore ~2487 stam after cast time + 2487 over 20 seconds. Dark deal is the closest class skill StamSorc has for a burst heal.

Overall this is now significantly weaker than Warden by comparison.

Possible suggestions to bring it back on par with warden:
- Remove cast time, possibly lower heal to compensate (not sure how this heal would match up with other instant heals)
- Keep cast time, increase total stam regen
- Keep cast time, decrease regen time to 10 seconds

Let's please discuss, I would love to hear other thoughts.

Templars are already pretty good class in any role in good hands, why are you making this even more unbalanced?
They will be now *** Gods with major protection for free and all the damage buffs they got...

QoL Suggestion: Infinite Transmutation Geodes

Can these infinite geodes for PTS template characters be changed to contain 200 gems, please?

I know it seems small or petty, but having to reopen these things 4 times to refill gems 50 or 60 times when playing around with sets & traits on the PTS gets old. I'd like to spend less time dinking around in my inventory, and more time testing, please.

Or better yet, just raise the Transmutation Gem cap (even if it's just for the PTS). Please? Pretty please?

Can we do something about the spin to win spam plz

Sorcs still have incredible time delayed high damage. Sorcs still have incredible mobility with streak and control with runes and mines. The changes to overload allow for all sorts of new and interesting playstyles.

Yes. You can still use shields for mitigation. You just need to pick your spots. You won’t be able to shield stack at will AND apply massive damage at the same time. You either pick to be on offensive rotation OR defensive rotation.

Sorcs are still strong and very good in pvp AND pve. Take a deep breath.

Cast Time for Shields - Why Not a Channel Instead?

Ok, I know there's a lot of threads about shields, but hear me out: if shields must have some sort of a check to keep people from spamming them, why not make them generate over one second rather than having an all-or-nothing cast time that can be interrupted?

Note that I'm not saying you should be forced to maintain the channel afterwards to keep the shield, just that it'd generate over a 1-2s and then stay on for the 9 seconds.

Imagine you generated the full shield over 1-2 seconds - if you were interrupted half way through you'd still get 50% of the shield strength to act as some defensive buffer against burst.


Surely this would be a better solution than the current cast time and sorcerers would be happier for it (especially if they got to keep the longer shield durations), while spamming shields every second would still be punished more than it is on Live (which seems to be what Zenimax is aiming for).

New Overload and Master Architect

I've received information from the sorc discord that it still doesnt proc MA, but is should now

The reason behind it not proccing before was that people would spam overload on and off to maintain 100% uptime.

Now that it is an active skill, without the option to turn off, it must proc master architect, otherwise its another indirect nerf.

Furnishing items disappearing after trading them to another player

This has happened to a couple of people within my group/guild.

I got a furnishing item drop from Scalecaller, I forgot exactly what the furnishing item was called but it was a group of very large mushrooms. Anyway, I placed it in my house, didn't think it fit there and a friend of mine asked if they could have it for their house. I agreed and traded it over to them. They teleported to their house and tried to place it. However, they could not find it in their inventory at all. They couldn't find it in the furnishing menu nor could they find it in their actual player inventory.

This also happened with another player too. But we all thought that particular player was either lying or just didn't know how to do it. But since it happened a second time, we know its an actually glitch. Both items were from the same dungeon and they were both giant mushrooms.

The future of Sorc Healers

As a class rep, I can only convey concerns, so I start thread for something that concerns me deeply and I feel other players should discuss on.

The overload changes destory a build I have shared with community for years and put in countless hours to test ideas and share variations. By taking away the third bar you leave Sorc Healers without options or balance.

Negate
This isn't a good support ultimate as the effects hardly work in content. Why because you have to time it pricelessly right for it have any impact. I have tested it and the stun doesn't work even on at some non elite trash mobs.

Pets take two bar and now Sorcs only have 2 bars. This makes them provide - minus utility compared to other 4 classes of healers. Let's not forget pet still can die and likely needs a shield.

On that note the shield changes ...one sec cast time with will cause additional struggles with maintain the pet pet in gameplay situation where you won't hay a second to respond to changes.

Other things 10% Magicka regain doesn't add up correctly ..in fact hircine used to provide stamit regain but gave cost reduction instead because math didn't add up to useful support to teamates ... especially damage dealers where the gain is not noticable.

Storm annotach can't be used by healers as it only supports 1 Ally and healers have to think about the team.

A side note overload now does less damage so healers will lack in this too.

Disclaimer: As a class rep, I only convey pain points and how it affects player's. Also things things are issues I advocated before in a 7 page document for all Healers. Aa your class rep I do my best to not be biased on class, role or spec and as such as time allows I will review others conceey spoken and speak out for other players and their concerns.

P.S we have a class meeting with devs next week so please yell, scream, cry, and calmly share all concerns that both you with one of your 12 class reps.

Do we need need the 1 second cast time for shields

I think this is a little redundant.... since there is already a minimum 1 second cast time for the shields due to lag.
