I've experienced this a few times being refused invites to guild because the gm doesn't like me or because I was friends with someone they didn't like,they don't even give u a chance. Has this happened to anyone else?

PvE - DPS MagSorc, pet or no pet? That is the question
Hi all!
Started a new toon as a Breton MagSorc aimed at DPS for solo dungeon runs and other solo work, I am following the builds on Alcast's website, for PvE MagSorc with/without pet

But I have never played DPS before, main character is Warden Healer cp160+ so I don't know much about DPS min/max, what would you guys recommend I run?
What would provide the most DPS and sustain out of both builds? Is it a bit of a waste to double bar slot 2 pets and compromising on 4 abilities or do pets provide that much more edge?

Zos, are you going to fix the WW form resistance bug?
It's very simple, when in WW form your spell and physical resistance is meant to increase by 10,000 and yet.. despite my resistance going from 18304/15664 to 28304 and 25664 for spell and pshyical respectively, the damage I have taken from quickshot [just picing an example here] out of WW form is 3750....in WW form.. 3750, which woupld imply...that the defense bonus is not actually...working.

Soldier of Anguish set would be 10x worse than Sload's ever was
Just look at how utterly ridiculous the 5-piece set bonus is:
Soldier of Anguish (Medium)
2: Weapon Damage
3: Weapon Critical
4: Weapon Damage
5: When you deal damage with a melee attack, you have a 25% chance to traumatize your enemy, negating their next 5500 points of healing for 4 seconds. This effect can occur once every 4 seconds.
This is, without a doubt, the silliest set bonus I've seen proposed in ESO. CP-enabled Cyro campaigns would be bad enough; BGs and Sotha would be downright unplayable. Regardless of whether or not it can stack.
Just look at those numbers again and have a think. Even a heal negation 1/10th of this size would be problematic in PvP considering that the set can stack.

Am I the only one?
Who thinks the nerfs to sorcs is long overdue?
Maybe I am biased and bitter because I am a Magplar since the start. In my house of nerf for years now.

I don't know what else there is to take from Templar but I am sure ZOS will find something.
Taken away CC/debuffs/snares and/or nerfed...
Taken away Healing buffs and/or nerfed...
Reduced Mobility and/or forced us to stand still as much as possible for the same buffs most others get for being mobile...
Nerfed Damage over and over...
Nerfed sustain....
Nerfed survivability...
Nerfed and/or taken away our old decent support/utility....
They claim "it hurts if you come into our house" but don't buff anything that actually does that...instead they nerf or take away any buffs/skills that actually help us stay in our "house"....
This has been going on for years now with no end in sight....
I mean really I am struggling to see what else is left to nerf or take away, they have hit every corner...cc/mobility/survivability/sustain/utility/support/damage/heals/buffs/debuffs....there is nothing left...

Just wait until ZOS realizes that to be "consistent" they should also add cast times to Blazing Shield, Igneous Shield, and Bone shield.
Not so fun anymore is it? Take a moment from your Schadenfreude and realize that nerfs often have collateral damage.
I guess people just don't remember when shields used to be 20 seconds. ZOS decided to change hardened ward to 6 seconds. Then, almost as an afterthought in a later patch, nerfed ALL shields to 6 seconds for "consistency" even though originally, they were just trying to nerf hardened ward.
But seriously, Being able to Crit shields is already a HUGE change. If this was the only nerf to shields, I would consider it a good one. Here's why:
Isn't that enough of a nerf? Its more of a balance change than a nerf because it allows more playstyles to interact with shield users. The cast time just doesn't make sense. Cast times are terrible nerfs that destroy the fast paced combat people love in this game.

- Every 5pc set bonus or ability that grants some effect or ability on crit will be able to be used on shield users now

After this pts release. I think its time to unsub and uninstall. They pull the same stuff every patch. They are trying to keep the game unbalanced and kill any form of small scale at this point. Soldier of anguish is the same as sloads but even worse. They put these sets in on purpose to close the skill gap. Never seen a game that punishes players so much for being better at the game. Not to mention they destroyed sorc, and killed off any light armor playstyle in the game. There is no way any human on this planet is dumb enough to think these changes they are making are in any way balanced or good. This has to be on purpose

Crescent Sweep. The wrong change, a Magplar NERF (more than 1 year later... i was right)
I'm here to know your opinon about the change of the crescent sweep ultimate.With this change (magical to physical damage) the magplar do not have any low cost and brust damage ultimate ability while the samplar has 3 now: crescent sweep, dawnbreaker and berserker strike, all these ults have relatively low cost and a high damage. But now the magplar has nothing for duels or small fights: Metor (high cost and real easy to block); empowering sweep (low damage); destro ult (extremely high cost and magplar usually use dual wield). So for all thi facts, in my opinion, this change was a mistake! Dawnbreaker and Berserker strike are enough!

Summerfall Clarification PLS ZOS
The Announcement for Summerfall seems to indicate that we only can ear the required achievement on one toon to be counted towards the "Prize Meter" credit. That this reward program is Account based and not per toon on your acct even though achievements are per character? Also, what percentage are we talking about of Summerset Owners? This is a major concern because plenty of folks buy expacs and then go back to school or leave the game and on your end you will still show them as Summerset owners. is it a realistic slice of the player base, since you mention that folks unable to participate in earning them can still be awarded the prizes?

[Class Rep] Warden Feedback Thread

In order to bring the jc writs into the line of something people might actually want to craft, either triple the reward, or drop the quality of improvement required one tier. Even with the improvements made to JC (and I'm a fan of everything from the dust in ore nodes, to grains from daily writs, to the improvement cost reduction) writs are still just a disappointment. I'd rather get a survey, because that at least is worth the effort. Anything over ~900g/voucher is lost money on PC/NA as you can buy anything you need at that rate.

Cowards Gear = Worthless
I can't run, hit heal for a split second, and then continue running.
I have to now Run. Stop. Heal. Stop. Run.
I also can't roll and heal then roll after.
There is something stopping me for a second to getting any type of move out. Its really killed my buzz.
I can be more of a successful coward with hircine or marksmans….
At least then I can roll into oblivion...

#Weeknights (Grats AD VIVEC!!)
I think a big congrats is in order for AD for winning the latest Vivec campaign.
It was a tremendous group effort, from all the solo individuals, duos, small groups to ball groups. A job well done.
Throughout the campaign not only was AD constantly being double teamed by DC and EP, but they managed to come from dead last to first... TWICE!
To the other factions, well the next campaign is just around the corner. From the guilds that fought with honour, to the others that hid by hiding their guild tags. It was a lot of fun.
From a TKG perspective, we don't normally play the map, but in this instance we had too. The amount of toxic tells we received about how we fight no one, to how we just pvpdoor was pretty amusing. Well, unfortunately in this case, we decided to prove a point. #Weeknights, #Weekdays or whatever garbage the opposition likes to spew on these forums only just proves that if we wanted to ruin everyone's fun we could, it's a fact, but we choose not too. We don't need salty non-oceanic timezone guilds telling us how we play the game. We like the fights, and the opposition that are not totally *** know they exist.
So once again, a big congratulations to AD for the WIN, it's well deserved. In closing, I leave you a present from a lovely person on the opposition:
