Crown Store Item Wish List

Hello everyone!

As part of Update 6, we are introducing the Crown Store: an in-game store where you can purchase customization and convenience items. The store offers consumables you can use to save time on in-game activities (like experience and crafting boosters, for example) along with new customization options including costumes, exotic pets, and mounts. When the Crown Store launches, we’ll have a number of items available immediately, but what about the future? Tell us what sorts of goods and services you would like to see offered in the Crown Store – you can be as general or specific as you’d like.

Inconvenient Master Writs

Just got a 48 voucher writ. It wants a purple, not gold staff. Sweet. But it has to be Hlaalu. I dont know that. So after shopping through Alinor, Vivec, and finally Rawlkha i buy the page for 22k. Learned it, now to the bench. Hist Bark, easy. 160 Staff, but oh, no style gems. Guess its one of my Mimic Stones. Almost there. Has to be Nirnhoned. I have 8 out of 9 traits researched for the Resto Staff. None are Nirnhoned. I have Nirn researched on all the other staves, except the Resto.

...this thing is gonna be sitting in my quest log for a month if i don't fork the cash for some timer scrolls.

This item is for over performing and makes or breaks stamina classes. It's overwhelming power in PvE needs reduced significantly. No other single item makes a significant difference (upwards of 5k-10k dps difference) for stamina like the Maelstrom bow.

TL;DR: Hunter's Glade was advertised as a perk of buying Wolfhunter, but right now it's on a limited time sale exclusively for crowns. In fact, it still is being advertised as a perk of buying Wolfhunter - the tooltip I screenshotted is still there if anyone wants to check it out for themselves.

Hunter's Glade is in the Crown Store right now for a "limited time".

Originally I thought the Glade would be like Hakkvild's High Hall - purchasable unfurnished with gold after completing a difficult achievement in the new DLC, or for crowns without it. I was given that impression because when you mouse over the hat icon in the Wolfhunter DLC in the Crown Store, you see this:

"Gain access to new [...] Housing locations, including the weird Hunter's Glade in Oblivion itself."

Obviously, that hasn't panned out, since we're a month on from the release of Wolfhunter (and HHH was released at the same time as the DLC its achievement came from).
So today I thought, okay, maybe by "access" they mean you can only buy the house with Crowns if you have the DLC. Seems like kind of a counterproductive move for ZOS, but whatever. I got my friend who has neither Wolfhunter nor ESO+ to check. Nope, she was still given the option to buy the house.

So unless I'm completely missing something, these are the options here:

1. The Glade will be made available for gold for Wolfhunter owners at a later date. (Oh my god, if this is the case, the people who bought it with crowns are going to be PISSED. That would be a terrible PR move.)
2. The "limited time" only applies to people who don't have the DLC, and people with the DLC will be able to pick it up for crowns at any time. Seems unlikely.
3. ZOS lied.

What I actually suspect happened is that the Glade was supposed to be released with Wolfhunter originally, and then when they came up with the plan to give the Villa away for free during Summerfall, the money people panicked at the idea of giving up revenue from TWO giant houses that they were previously selling for like $150 each. So they changed it, but forgot to alter the tooltip. I don't know. Again, this is just speculation.

Also note that the text also advertises housing locations, plural, and so far we've only seen one. So more houses connected to Wolfhunter should be coming at some point. But Hunter's Glade was mentioned specifically. And right now, people without the DLC have the exact same "access" to the Hunter's Glade as the people who have it, halfway into the next quarter.

I don't want people to take this as bashing ZOS. I enjoyed the Summerfall event and am grateful for the Villa, and in general I'm pretty pleased with the direction they're taking with notable houses (for example, the Glade is a little over half the price that members of my housing guild were speculating it would be, due to ZOS's new focus on selling furniture packs instead). I'm actually not even super interested in this house. But this isn't okay. If you paid for Wolfhunter, part of what you paid for was access to the Glade. Right now it's plain false advertising.

Call of the Undaunted - PvE Pledge/Raid Guild

Hey everyone ! Call of the Undaunted is a guild for high-end players who wants to do pledges without the fear of having a bad group . Purpose of this guild is running through dungeons with ease and getting 6 keys without wipes or any problems that is similar .

We require members to know what they are doing , have proper gear and knowledge of game and tactics . Having high CP isn't a requirement .

We have strict rules when it comes to attitude between members . Things happened in the past between players cannot be surfaced in guild environment . You can do whatever you want in whisper . Bringing these discussion to guild environment will result in a direct kick .

You can bring your half-ready character to pledges as long as you ask your group members and they are ok with it .

How we test members : All guild members can give feedback to officers about how the new player acts and plays . In case of many negative feedback , doesn't matter if attitude or gameplay , result will be a guild kick . If you are performing very badly , other guild members has the right to kick you from the group and give negative feedback to officers . Guidance can be provided (although not necessary for any guild member) if you are lacking survivability , DPS or sustain but don't expect to be carried .




We are also doing chill raids on Tuesdays , Thursdays and Sundays . Our raid times are a bit different than usual :

Monday : 21:30 - 23:00
Thursday : 21:30 - 23:00
Sunday : 21:30 - 23:00

We are raiding 2 hours most on each day since last hour of raiding is usually wasted due to exhaustion and how boring it is to kill same enemies over and over . We are trying to eliminate every single bad part of raiding . This group is not aiming for top scores , more of a chill raid with people who know what they are doing . We work on the Weekly at all times (unless it is DSA , then we go for whatever we want) so that we don't focus on a single trial for months and forget about others . We won't be doing any incredibly hard trash pulls , tactics or anything that will force you to your limits . As said before , these will be raids you join to enjoy . By the way , chill raids don't mean low scores . We still want to do decent runs with good scores but not aiming to be best , since that requires a lot of effort and will exhaust members .




We have different ranks in the guild who describes our members and their intentions and experience . We have a Core Raiding Group that runs 3 days a week . Rest of the days will be raids that are open for all members who are Undaunted and above .

Guildmaster : Creator of the guild .
Quartermaster : Officers of the guild . They have every rank the Guildmaster has .
Unrepentant : Members who are in Core Group .
Champion : Members who are really experienced in PvE , know what they do . They have the highest priority in core raids as fill .
Undaunted : Members who are looking to do pledges .
Recruit : Members who are yet to prove themselves to be Undaunted . This can only be done with joining other members in pledge runs and showing good performance .

We have a discord server for chat , dungeons and theorycrafting . More info will be provided upon application .

That's pretty much it . We just want good players who wants to do pledges/raids with good groups . If you like to join , mail or whisper @LiofaTR .

Back during the April/May time before Morrowind, I was some stupid pug healer looking for a group for the Fungal Grotto 2 and Crypt of Hearts 2 pledges.

I got invited to a group and we did flawlessly on FG2 until I died twice because my food ran out on the Spawn of Mephala. Then we went on to No-Death COH2. I guess I had impressed them since they Invited me to join their guild, Fire and Ice (shoutout to @Bherdani for the healing guide).

Morrowind came out, we ran trials, dungeons, and played the game. I grew close to this group.

Very close.

After the fall of Fire and Ice and the rise of MLP Tamrielic Adventures, we became an even tighter knit group. We are an online family.

However one person in particular, I consider something more. She has changed my life for the better, and she part of my real-life family now.

Adjustments to How Weapon Enchants and Poisons Trigger

Greetings! Today the combat team would like to update you on some of our plans in regards to the popular topic and debates; enchantments and poisons! Recently we introduced a new system that allowed enchants and poisons to follow a better line of logic for triggering, which in turn has given us much more direct control on when and where they can fire off. In that process we originally allowed any Weapon Attack (any weapon skill line ability, Light Attack, or Heavy Attack) to trigger an enchant or a poison, and we've been closely monitoring feedback on how it has affected the game in many different avenues. Even after the recent fix to prevent multiple enchants from firing simultaneously, we're still not completely happy with how much damage enchants are granting with low effort input.

In a future incremental we'll be updating which abilities cannot fire enchantments or poisons. The changes will only affect single target Damage over Time abilities, or abilities that apply a single target DoT (such as Carve or Rend). The reasoning behind this is based on the usage and effort required for these abilities. Single target DoTs generally offer very steady damage that's more guaranteed compared to Direct Damage or ground targeted effects that require your opponent to stand inside them, and allowing powerful enchants to apply multiple times over their duration was enabling too much damage for too little effort.

It's worth mentioning that a few of these issues were already highlighted during the PTS, and you may be upset that they went to Live without adjustments. We admit that we could have done a better job at taking in feedback and reacting accordingly to it. Amidst the large number of changes we made, we did not give enough time to this specific issue itself, as our attention was focused on other areas of feedback. Moving forward with our Class Rep Program and the new NDA in line, we have high hopes that the class representatives themselves will feel more empowered to continue pointing out larger topics that you, the community, are passionate about; so we can better adjust ourselves to tackling the issues that are most important.

Shield Breaker in ESO 4.2 and beyond

Damage shields in ESO used to be very contentious. They allowed for Max Magicka builds, especially Sorcs, to have very high damage and stack very large shields.

As a counter to these very strong builds, ZOS introduced the Shield Breaker set which has the following 5 piece bonus:
(5 items) When you deal damage with a Light or Heavy Attack against a Player with a damage shield, you deal an additional 2150 Oblivion Damage to them.

As a reminder, Oblivion Damage cannot be mitigated in any way and is not affected by the 50% damage reduction of Battle Spirit.

In 4.2, ZOS dramatically changed how Damage Shields function:

- Max shield cap of 40-50% of max health
- You can now deal a Critical Strike against an enemy with a damage shield.
- Your Spell and Physical Resistance now reduces incoming damage before it is applied to your damage shield.
- Poisons and Weapon Enchantments can now proc even if the damage done by the Light Attack, Heavy Attack, or Weapon Ability is fully absorbed by a damage shield.

Also consider that Shield Breaker doesn't only impact shield builds, but any build that might gain an incidental shield; for example, a Stam DK using the Obsidian Shield line.

Damage Shields can no longer be considered OP, so why do we still have an OP counter in the form of the Shield Breaker set?

Since the Indrik mounts will be evolvable in the future to different colors, do we need to have multiple sets of feathers if we want an evolved Indrik in each of the possible colors? How will this work? Can anyone confirm? @ZOS_GinaBruno

Is ESO successful enough to have a new major chapter w/ extra main quest?

Wrothgar had some meat, vvardenfel was maybe 20 hours, cwc a bit smaller. Each expansion / dlc has a fairly limited scope. They reveal a new zone with some local story quests. Maybe three stories and some minor side quests. Perhaps a couple new dungeons or arena.

What i think the game needs, is a *major* new chapter, of same magnitude as the current main quest. While i appreciate frequent small releases, it seems to keep them from getting very ambitiuos. When you look at WOW, they are able to do some very major things with each expansion.

Is eso just not big enough to do this?

Anyone else swap from using a magic character in pvp to now using a Stam one?

Getting my stamblade set up for it as I have not L2P my magblade efficiently enough yet with this patch. Can’t seem to find a good balance yet with survivability on my magblade. If there are suggestions out there please share.

My Exorcised Coven Cottage

Exorcised? Hardly. This cottage is haunted by every spook, spectre and skeleton possible. This is the Samhain, or Halloween, themed home, and I've done my best to decorate it in that theme. There are all manners of dead, undead and scary inhabitants that I could find, as well as a strong Wiccan or witches vibe, with all sorts of decoration in that vein. Lastly, to symolize the harvest and the Reaper, there's a strong harvest tide vibe to the house, with many harvested pumpkins and wheat stacks.

This house was really fun to make, it's a lot different from what I usually do, and I spent the better part of this Witches Festival tracking down some items for the house, as well as using the Witches and Hollowjack pack. But most of all, it was fun to make because there are so many slots for the size. Even with all the clutter I have put in, and I don't think I can fit any more at all now, there's still almost 40 slots left! This is how you make houses, ZOS, take note! We want to be able to decorate our houses, and these medum size houses fit the bill.

So, the house includes a large pumpkin patch with some harvest decoration, a graveyard with undead and crow wraiths, a small bog area, an outdoor witches shrine, and of course an interior that is packed with scary litterature, potions and poisons, a large kitchen area with harvested pumpkins and produce, and a witches cauldron. The video below will take you through all of the points of interest, and I will post some screenshots in the following posts. I hope you enjoy the look, I surely enjoyed making it. Have a happy Samhain or Halloween, and enjoy the harvest season!
