Dungeon ques option

I've been trying to get my dailies done, but I keep joining into a group that's already halfway through and can't complete the quest. This has been happening to me often lately. There should be an option when you que of whether you want to join fresh groups only or both. If not, then allow dailies to be complete just off the last boss along with the skill point quest. It's a lot of wasted time having to try and complete dailies when you have to run some of them twice.

Hey, so im struggling with survivability on my stamsorc and stamplar, since they are in medium and dont have cloak like NBs. Im seriously getting 1 shotted when i go in Bgs. I would go heavy if it werent for the massive sustain issues (in Bgs)

They are both dw and 2h, running Quick cloak and shuffle on both but doesnt help that much..

So i Wonder how do you play them without constantly dieing? Any tips on sets/skills etc?

Tnx

I missed some of the rewards this month an it show that I have a reward ready to claim but it will not allow me to claim it. There is no button on the bottom of the reward on the logout screen and the notifications leads me to a blank screen.

Can we PLEASE just separate premade queues already?

Yeah, another thread. Because today is another day where I get back-to-back matches against an impenetrable premade - you know, the sort of "top-tier" "small-scale" jerks that stack into a ball while they spam heals/purge and chain-pull enemy PUGs into their Permafrost + Fossilize deathtrap.

@ZOS_BrianWheeler this is nothing short of negligence on the part of ZOS. Are strategies like the above a fair and valid strategy? Yes - against other premades. NOT against a team of PUGs that 9/10 times doesn't even properly fill to 4 players.

Why do you sit back and feed wins to these abusers?

I'll ask again, PLEASE, can we have

1) Solo/duo
3) Premade (requires 4 to queue)

Who cares if the premade queue has low participation? If populations are low they can bust their derpy group and queue solo like the rest of us.

The purpose of this thread is to give you a place to post your current top two pain points with Werewolves. Our new Class Representatives will be keeping a close eye on this thread, and will utilize it to gather additional feedback for the notes they’re currently compiling for their first meeting with the Dev Team next week. Please be sure and keep your post clear and succinct, and focus more on what is currently frustrating you rather than potential solutions. Thanks!

An easy way to get this is to find her at Blackrose Wayshrine, talk to her. Use the wayshrine to teleport somewhere else in Murkmire and right back.
You can keep doing this until you are done with the achievement.

Magplar PvP

So I'm still pretty new to magicka classes in PvP (old stam DK main) and I need some advice. I can get some kills but I'm WAY too squishy.

I'm currently running:
2 Skoria (heavy)
5 Spinners (chest, legs. boots, Nirnhoned inferno staff)
5 Wizard's Riposte (belt, gloves, jewelry)
2 Song of Lamae (sword and shield on back bar).

Anyone have any advice for a newbie Magplar?

Knight-Errant's Mail and PVP

First off, I am not well-versed in PVP. I primarily play PVE, with the eye that I will eventually do more and more PVP as it is fun.

With that information, as I accumulate sets in PVE, I keep a good number that I know (or think) will be useful in PVP. This set appears to have very little utility in PVE, yet looks like it would work well in PVP:

(2 items) Adds 1206 Max Health

(3 items) Adds 1096 Max Stamina

(4 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage

(5 items) Adds 200 Weapon Damage to your One Hand and Shield abilities. When you use a One Hand and Shield ability, you heal for 1250 Health.

A heavy set that buffs health, stamina, weapon damage, and heals with use of abilities seems like its perfect for a PVP stam DD build. Am I missing something? Or are there other sets out there that outperform this one? I don't want to keep trash nor do I want to throw out a good set.

Stamden build thoughts

So I'm having some reconsiderations about my unfinished dps stamden build.

Currently a dw/bow in relequens armor, velidrith 2pc, and 5pc hundings weapons and jewelry. I'm using hundings atm until I get a better replacement. I have about 4 different sets I want to try. Briarheart, berserking, and leviathan. Two of those sets are a lot easier to get than the other. The fourth set I'm thinking about is essence thief to help with survivability and increase stam pool. Everyone seems to be for berserking or briarheart on their stamden builds, but I'm wondering if the crit from leviathan would be better for me since I don't have a vma bow.

Thoughts? Perhaps there's a better set to go with that I haven't thought of. Right now my stam pool is around 30k, health is 15.6k. I can't remember my exact stats but I believe my weapon dmg is 29xx, and weapon crit might be around 55%. I use artaeum takeaway broth food and lover mundus stone.

Exploring the unexplored, Venturing beyond the map ...

$

I have been exploring the normally inaccessible parts of the ESO maps since the early beta days.
While a lot of those early holes in the world mesh have since been fixed by ZOS, there are still some spots left where one can leave the confines of the world map and venture out into the unknown.

This usually involves some creative jumping, either on horse or on foot, swimming through Slaughterfish infested waters and sometimes even requires the Sorcerer skill "Bolt Escape".

I am *not* going to show the exact spots and mechanisms for each map on where and how to exit the world.
However, i will point you in the general direction and show you the locations one can still get to. If you want to follow in my footsteps, you will have to figure out the details for yourself.

As i said, many of the holes have been fixed so i will not rely on old data and screenshots but instead go through my archives and see which holes can still be exploited today.

I'll start with my most recent exploration, the island of "Eyevea" and i'll be adding maps to the list below as i go along ...

List of maps that still have one or more ways to leave the map:

- Vvardenfell (09/2018)
- Eyevea (12/2016)

Potential Solution to "FAKE TANK!!!" Problem

$

So, hear me out here, as this is just a rough idea. What if during the queueing process, a buff/debuff were added to each subclass to create an incentive to queue properly? Maybe Tanks get a block cost reduction, healing taken increase, but have their dmg neutered. Healers could have an increase to heals, add 5-10 seconds (or whatever) to active buffing, and a decrease in overall dmg. DDs could get a buff to resource recovery, maybe an increase to AoE dmg, and a decrease in self healing. This could potentially deincentivize those who incorrectly queue for an inappropriate role, and doesn't really hurt pre-made all-DD groups because the buff/debuffs are still evenly spread and balanced. This would ONLY apply to groups who queue in, and not to a group who walks into the dungeon.

This obviously needs a lot of refining still and is just a rough outline of an idea, so please be constructive. I don't particularly care about the whole fake tank/fake healer thing myself, but based of the volume of complaint threads on the forums, this appears to be a big issue for at least a portion of the population, which means it bears examining.

ESO Launcher Crashes on Update 9/04/2018

Was just logged in yesterday and running fine, when the upload initiated the launcher eats up RAM until it crashes. Ran logs and looks like it's erroring out on an application whitelist error. I temporarily disabled firewall and same issue. Deleted depot temporary files and it went to 30% before crashing again.

Here's the partial log, I even tried manually downloading file in link (you can see a partial of it in this and placing it into the depot folders, no luck.

--The launcher starts and we see it start trying to grab the files, there is plenty of disk space, partially through some type of check fails, and then the system seems to start looking for a different IP below.

mob levels: can anyone explain?

$

So after returning to the game I'm a bit confused how the overland mob levels work in relation to player level. I have been leveling a Warden and every mob I put my cursor on doesn't show a level but rather shows as 160 CP. I assume that when they opened up all 3 regions for cross region play they had to standardize levels somehow to make that work and now they are based on CP instead of the old levels. Is that correct?

That being said I still don't really understand how this works. Does that 160 CP I'm seeing on the health bar represent difficulty or something else? I have been in Vvardenfel on a level 15 and Craglorn on my level 50 but all mobs everywhere seem to show the same 160 CP so it doesn't seem like it is difficulty. I currently have 270 CP so would that 160 be different for a new player with no CP? How does mob difficulty scale between a new player with no CP and someone with 500 CP? Also, how does this apply to dungeon difficulty?

Sorry if this is obvious but it's not clear to me!

What does it take to be a tank?

$

0
I mean besides a group of people willing to put their lives in my hands? Do I need to know all the fights or can I just wing it?

I've got a character geared and ready to tank dungeons but I've hesitated because in my experience with other MMOs I've learned players can be pretty impatient with tanks who are trying to learn the ropes. Unkind, even.

EDIT: I'm not asking about class/build/gear.
