I’ve noticed for a few weeks that a LOT of people have been dodge rolling my snipes from stealth out of nowhere. Is Miat’s still functional? It seems obvious that something outside of random dodge rolling is going on.

BGs broken, instant kill bug.

So this has happened at least a dozen times today, from multiple opponents (all Sorcs, no surprise there). All they are doing is running around spamming this proc and getting free kills. This needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY.

Sometimes abnormal high ping

Hey guys,

So sometimes, especially in the evening, I notice that when doing Dungeons etc, weaving and so on does not work properly anymore and I start hitting the same skill twice(DK Eruption mainly). This is due to lag.
Then I did some digging. And now I have even more questions.

Lets start off my general information.
I am loccated in Germany. I play on the "European Megaserver". So I thought at least.

Now we go to the problem.

So this evening, It started getting really "laggy" again, when rotations started to mess up. So I did a little ping check on the performance monitor. Since I had 200ms or around that in the ingame meter. Here is a pic of that :

So I was like. Something is not right there. Usually I get 30ms around the day. So I looked up the IPs.

So why do we in Europe get rerouted to an NA Server Zenimax? This happens every evening when EU players go do trials and so on, you know that right? I remember this even happening back 3 years ago. Before I took a big big break.
People play on an EU server for a reason. I get my rotations messed up from this, NPCs take 5 seconds to talk to me after I press "Interact". Why is that a thing? It is not right... Please let me and all the others play on EU servers all the time.. That is why people choose EU. To not get bothered by this lag..

Simple poll to see how everyone pronounces ESO.
Poll options are the two most common I've heard and included an other options for people who might use a mix or other ways.

I'm terrible with knowing how to type phenetically as well so hopefully these options make sense.

So I'm still pretty new to magicka classes in PvP (old stam DK main) and I need some advice. I can get some kills but I'm WAY too squishy.

I'm currently running:
2 Skoria (heavy)
5 Spinners (chest, legs. boots, Nirnhoned inferno staff)
5 Wizard's Riposte (belt, gloves, jewelry)
2 Song of Lamae (sword and shield on back bar).

Anyone have any advice for a newbie Magplar?

Its time to look at snares. We need to consider adding an immunity timer.

I play mostly BGs.

I'm snared 100% of the time.

I play a templar and I spam my purge.. STILL snared.

I use range.. SNARED. I use melee and try to plow thru.. Endlessly out of range and SNARED.

Snared snared snared snared snared snared..

Its enough. Snares and immobilization needs to be added to CC immunity.. Or diminishing returns.. Or something.. ANYTHING..

They nerfed snares and it hasnt helped even in the slightest. Every single ability in this game practically has a 30-60% snare. WHY?????? ITS SO ANNOYING!!!

GREAT! you reduced duration? Spam the ability..

The PvP in ESO is so brain dead.

Unless of course you run Forward momentum.. That is literally the only useable counter to the snare meta..

So can we please put some kind of immunity on SNARES for the love of GOD!

New Scrolls Order

About Us: We are a group of 490+ mostly soloist/lone wolves who came to together to help each other learn, improve and eventually master this game. We originally catered to primarily new players however as we have progressed through the game we are now a home for veterans as well. At the heart of this guild is a love for ESO and desire to help others progress.

What we offer: We offer both spontaneous and planned World Boss, Skyshard and Dungeon runs. Daily runs through undaunted pledge dungeons. Legerdemain/Gold farming. Introduction to normal, vet and trial dungeons. Battleground groups as well as multi-alliance Cyrodiil events. Housing events, aka Crib Crawls. An expert team of Master Crafters that can craft the gear, food, potions and glyphs that you need but also help you achieve Master Crafter status. Trial runs 3-5 times a week. A lottery that is run several times a month. We have several furniture stores filled with high end/rare furnishings available to NSO members only. We intermittently have a Trader (1-2 times a month). Most importantly, friendly and helpful guild mates.

Communication: Our preferred source of communication is via Discord. Our address is located in the MOTD in game. In game text chat also fairly active.
We are a no fee guild. Donations to maintain the trader are always appreciated.

Combat bug because of pets

Since you can't change spells in combat, i can't put the pet away, staying bugged in combat. I was testing my dps with my sorc, i stopped hiting the dummy but my pets didn't, i had to close the game on task manager. Now today doing pledges with my warden, i couldn't pass a door, because i was in combat with my bear.

So pls ZoS, add a way to put away pets, ty.

Is there anywhere where we can buy old rewards of the worthy gears, such as Transmutation and Fury? Other than guild stores of course. It’s been a long time since I looked at the vendors and I can’t remember what exactly they sell.

Is there a way to disable the players [blue arrow] position marker on the map? I want to be totally lost and I know I'd have a lot of fun in this play-style.

The Family Business - Is Officer Lorin right?

Hello everyone, I have a quest regarding the quest "The Family Business". Here's a summary, in case you don't recognize the name:
It takes place on Khenarthi's Roost. You first meet Azbi-ra a Khajiit crouched over her father's body. She tells you that their moon sugar plantation recently caught fire and her father's lungs are damaged. She tasks you with retreiving alchemical tools from around the plantation, so that she can trade them for medicine and help her father. On your way there, you meet Officer Lorin, a Thalmor representative investigating the accident. While searching for the tools, you encounter Zaban-ma, Azbi-ra's brother, who confesses that he was the one who set fire to the plantation, to stop his sister and father for brewing skooma (which is what the alchemical tools are for). As you tell him about his father (Zaban-ma never intended to hurt anyone), he asks you to retrieve a sack of skooma vials Azbi-ra hid on a nearby beach. Once you have the skooma and you return to the Khajiiti siblings, you're approached by Officer Lorin who accuses you of posessing and distributing skooma. If you choose to show her the sack, you're relieved of charges as reward for your cooperation, while the siblings are apprehended and taken away.

My question here is: Does Officer Lorin have the right to arrest and possibly imprison Azbi-ra and Zaban-ma? At the time of this happening, the Aldmeri Dominion hasn't yet established control over Khenarthi's Roost, so any laws regarding skooma shouldn't apply. Thus, whatever laws regarding skooma there may be, they're likely set by Headwoman Harrani (and her predecessors), and, as Khajiit, I doubt they'd be nearly as harsh when it comes to skooma as the Altmer are. So, is Officer Lorin allowed to arrest them?

Disappointed

I'm so dissatisfied and disappointed on the regression of this game, 4 year long problems, new content being released and bringing back old or new bugs, lag constantly affecting game play, if I could I would get all my money back I spent on this game. It's Unbelievable on where this company has gone since launch, I really thought you guys had something releasing this game. But honestly this game has not improved.

Anyone have an idea of when they could come back? Weren't they the first crates to come out before Wild Hunt crates came with Morrowind?

This quest is beyond aggravating. Imagine a quest where you weren't allowed to use any ability that dealt magic damage - even if it had other effects, then threw a strong enemy at you. Of course that would be ridiculous; a large number of characters wouldn't be able to complete it without a huge overhaul of their build. And you didn't make respecs really a thing that you could do on a whim. They cost gold, and potentially grinding of skills you have absolutely no interest in. But it's a STORY quest. So, even though my character has no problem soloing any world boss, I'm not able to progress with the game because a quest arbitrarily turned my character off. Tying up my legs and arms and then beating me with a shovel isn't a challenge, it's... a beating.
