Hello everyone. Recently started messing around with my magdk. Currently running bsw, sun, zaan, vma staff. Hitting between 37-39k no undaunted leveled or mages guild. Question is what sets could i pair with bsw to push some more dps besides Siroria? Should i retrait to bloodthirsty? Thanks in advance.

Are these robes obtainable as a motif/style?
https://www.pcworld.com/article/3269086/gaming/elder-scrolls-onlines-summerset-expansion-preview.html
I searched through my outfit robes and couldn't find anything like it. Basically, I'm looking for robes that are more free flowing (thick robes, etc), and not form fitting. I know I have seen people wearing robes such as these, but I can't seem to find them anywhere.

One Bar Builds For Solo PvE? [Discussion]
Hi, I'm Jack Of Shades. I'm a notoriously solo player on eso. Have been for a long time. I've played pretty much every elder scrolls game. [Huge fan] So, I'm basically a single player type of guy.
On eso I don't do groups. I don't play PvP. I don't do dungeons that take more than myself to complete. So, naturally, I don't bar swap. And it got me thinking... are there players like me who have built one bar builds that they are proud of!?
Before I get started on this topic I just want to say: Please don't come in here saying myself, or others, are halving our utilities, not using all of our possible dps, dot, etc. I don't care. I'm not being competitive. Nor am I grouping. It's not harming people at all. It's just ME. It's solo only.
Anyway, wanted to talk to other fellow one bar users and see what you've come up with! Not to mention, I'm still looking for other awesome one bar builds for the Warden! I've actually found a couple videos on YouTube that show one bar builds. Hoping to see more!
Thanks for stopping by and reading, hope to discuss some awesome builds with other players!

Can ZOS explain why Altmer is the lowest magicka DPS?
@ZOS_BrianWheeler
@ZOS_Gilliam
The current state of the Altmer race seems to contradict your philosophy on them being the "magicka damage" race. As paying customers, I think we are owed an explanation. Maybe you guys can share your internal builds that are outparsing everyone else's.

Redguard & Altmer Complaints...
The irony of the various complaints regarding Redguards and Altmers is too much.
Altmers: formerly among top magicka dps.
New Racials: 2k Magica plus 258 Spell damage
Their Issue? Bretons with 2k Magicka & buffs to sustain will surpass Altmers in damage.
Redguards: Formerly top Stamina Dps.
New Racials: 2k Stamina & buffs to sustain
Their Issue? Orcs with 2k Stamina & 258 weapon damage will surpass Redgaurds in dps.
So i watch a popular YouTube Streamer who is biased towards Redguards and Altmers..
His Issue with Altmer? Altmers suck because they only get 2k Magicka and 258 spell damage and can't compete with Bretons who have 2k Magicka and superior sustain.

Seems like these arguments cancel each other out?

Stuck with fighters guild quest line
Been away from the game for a year and just returned, decided to complete the fighter's guild questline I had started. However I can find no quest in my quest log, I check fighter's guild in Auridon and don't see the npc Sees Many Colors, nor any quest giver. I have no idea what stage I was up to, I believe I had completed 2 maybe 3? I have no way to find where I left off....all this so I can craft Kagneracs...
Is there any way to find previously completed quests? an addon perhaps?

Our new Class Representatives will be keeping a close eye on this thread, and will utilize it to gather additional feedback for the notes they’re currently compiling for their first meeting with the Dev Team next week. Please be sure and keep your post clear and succinct, and focus more on what is currently frustrating you rather than potential solutions. Thanks!

Cyrodilic Jungle House, and a question about daily login rewards.
My mind is made up. This will be my house. I'm a proud Imperial, and live under the banner of the Aldmeri Dominion. It's the perfect house.
But, here's the question. Should I buy for gold or cheap out and buy with crowns? I noticed that this month had 100k gold as a login reward. Sadly I joined the PC community too late to even hope to get that reward. There simply wasn't enough time.
But I would like to ask, do we get a big gold reward like that every month? Because if so then it stands to reason that I save my crowns for decoration, and wait until I get the gold needed. If these login rewards are a regular thing then it makes sense I aim for that instead, saving me IRL cash.
TIA

Looking Forward To vMA Weapon Rework
It’s pretty exciting that ZOS knows old arena weapons need to be looked at. Maybe this year even? What could they do to them at this point and would simply adding back the extra wpn damage etc be enough? vMA bow is really the only BiS weapon left. The 2H is almost obsolete even if it were to be buffed simply because crit charge isn’t useful anymore and there’s not really bar space for it on most builds. I’d love to see DW become useful for PvP or PvE once more, as I acquired those right before they were no longer worth running.

PVE stam math (Khajit vs Orc)
Hi folks !
I was curious about who was the top dps between Khajit and Orc, with a high crit chance and as i kept finding conflictual datas, i decided to do the maths by myself.
So, for this test, i used values from Build Editor (for character stats) and Skill Browser for the tooltip.
I did the maths on a stamblade, using only damage from "Surprise attack" as a reference (results will be similar on spells that can crit) and different Mundus (Lover, Warrior and Shadow) for both races.
Major Brutality and Savagery, Minor force and savagery and an infused weapon damage enchantment were treated as active during these tests.
I did not take any damage buff into account because they would just be multipliers equal between races. So, pointless.
The formula used is pretty simple : Average damage = Tooltip * (1 + Critical chance * Crit modifier)
So, for example, on the Shadow Orc with Warhorn, formula is : 18199 = 9112 * (1 + 83.8/100 * 119/100)
My build was :
- For the Lover : 2 Velidreth, 5 Relequen, 5 Yokeda. 2 daggers (off-hand with precise trait) and 57 Precise strikes 34 Piercing => 87.3% crit chance
- For the Warrior and the Shadow : 2 Kra'gh's, 5 Relequen, 5 Yokeda. 2 daggers (off-Hand with Sharpened trait) and 34 Precise strikes 57 Piercing => 83.8% crit chance
So here are the average damages of a Surprise attack :
Warrior : Khajit = 15819 / Orc = 16027
Lover : Khajit = 15885 / Orc = 16139
Shadow : Khajit = 16182 / Orc = 16531
As you can see, the Shadow beats the other Mundus and Orc beats Khajit in every scenario.
Then, i wanted to try with a Warhorn active (10% max stam + Major Force) :
Khajit = 17778 / Orc = 18199
Orc still wins without surprise.
Problem is : i think that Khajit should win by a slight margin when looking at crits because it's not a reliable dps source and bonus from max stam that Orc and Dunmer have applies to everything that doesn't crit too (even on backbar, where we lose a lot of crit) so, in the end, they should still win the dps race.
To match the damage an Orc can do with Warhorn, Khajit should get + 16% crit damage from his racial bonus (He would deal 18208 on the Surprise attack), which is too much and would cause an imbalance with other races i didn't spoke about.
My suggestion is : Lower the max stam bonus Orc and Dunmer have to 1000 and Rise the bonus Khajit has to 14% critical damage.
This way, the damage would be a lot more balanced : Khajit = 18065 / Orc/Dunmer = 17927.
(And, if you asked yourselves, keeping 10% crit on Khajit and lowering Orc/Dunmer max stam to 500 isn't enough. They would still hit for 17791. So, just a little bit more than Khajit).
I hope you devs will take this into consideration !

Races tested
Imperial, Khajiit, Dunmer, Orc, Redguard, Bosmer
Rotations
Rending Slashes rotation
1. Greater Storm Atronach
2. Endless Hail, LA Caltrops, LA Poison Inject, swap
3. LA Hurricane, LA Rearming Trap, LA Rending Slashes x 6, LA swap
4. Go to 2
Greater Storm Atronach dropped when ready, always at the end of the bow rotation (after Poison Injection).
Heavy attacks were used as follows:
1. Orc & Dunmer: 1 heavy attack per DW pass the entire rotation
2. Khajiit: 1 heavy attack per DW pass until 25%
3. Imperial: 1 heavy attack per DW pass until 50%
Redguard and Bosmer were full LA rotations throughout.
Rapid Strikes rotation (Redguard only)
1. Greater Storm Atronach
2. Endless Hail, LA Caltrops, LA Poison Inject, swap
3. LA Hurricane, LA Rearming Trap, LA Rending Slashes, LA Rapid Strikes x 5, LA swap
4. Go to 2
Crushing Weapon rotation (Bosmer only)
1. Greater Storm Atronach
2. Endless Hail, LA Caltrops, LA Poison Inect, swap
3. LA Hurricane, LA Rearming Trap, LA Rending Slashes, LA Crushing Weapon x 5, LA swap
4. Go to 2
This rotation used 1 heavy attack per DW pass until 50%, all LAs after that.
Reasoning
I like to use a stamsorc for testing because the rotation is stupid simple and the DPS is generally very consistent (i.e., it doesn't have a bunch of variability based on Killer's Blade/Spectral Bow proc crits like a stamblade).
One thing to note: Greater Storm Atronach can proc Minor Vulnerability, which does introduce a bit of variance. To avoid that skewing the results too much, I threw out any parses that had Minor Vulnerability uptime less than 3% or greater than 9% (so all parses have either 3%/6%/9% Minor Vulnerability, which is 1/2/3 Concussion procs). The end result is that Minor Vulnerability should only contribute at most 0.7% DPS increase and at least 0.24% (for a spread of 0.46%).
Parse Results
Quick note: Besides the note about Minor Vulnerability above, I also threw out any parses where I made any obvious mistakes (either due to lag or just human error). All said (aside from the tune-up parses to figure out where to switch from HAs to LAs on the applicable races), I did about a dozen parses on each race.
![Hj01tN1.png]()
I also attempted to swap to an Absorb Stamina enchant on the bow (swapping Berserker to the Infused dagger) to use a full LA rotation; this was only possible on Imperial and Khajiit (Orc and Dunmer could not sustain the whole thing). DPS was uniformly lower than the parses posted above so I chose not to include them. It's the same story with attempting to use Crushing Weapon or Rapid Strikes on other races: I couldn't sustain with a single HA per rotation so I chose not to do the full process with that setup, though I may later.
I plan to repeat the parses with Veiled Heritance replacing Advancing Yokeda later this week.
Gear:
- 5 x Perfect Relequen (5 medium, all Divines, all stam enchants)
- 5 x Advancing Yokeda (1 x Infused neck, 2 x Bloodthirsty rings, all weapon damage enchants, Nirnhoned + Poison dagger, Infused + Absorb Stamina dagger)
- 2 x Velidreth (2 medium, Divines, stam enchants)
- 1 x Infused Maelstrom Bow with Berserker enchant

bg current balance by my experience
if u wanna be effective in bg u stack up on defensive stats and abilities otherwise u have no chance. glasscannons are useless. this is actually a problem. people would pvp more if they could be successfull with their pve builds. while healers and tanks have no problem jumping into pvp dps which are probably more than 50 % of the eso population will need to adapt and wear heavy armor for example. it just shows that the balance goes towards heal and tanks which can make the fights rly painfull at times. having to fight for a minute just for the teammates of that guy ur fighting show up to help him can be a very bad experience. there are games out there that *** up that balance and went the same route a good example would be the game dc universe online.
THIS IS NOT A DESIREABLE OUTCOME. i hope the devs take care of balancing this general more effectivity of dps sets and glasscannon builds would be nice and help more ppl to get into pvp.
