What are your characters names and why?

I've been wondering what are your characters names? Was there a certain reason or just out of the blue?
Here's mine:

-Magicka Templar: Mjoll Light-Bringer. I was think of characters from skyrim, then I remembered the one lady in the bannered mare. Add a templar-like last name and boom

-Templar Healer: Talen-Jei. ESO name generator, and some argonian from skyrim also

-Crafter: Trait Guy. He's a guy and he's got your traits

-Stamina DK tank/dps: Ifrit the Scorched. Ifrit are powerful djinn in middle eastern stories, according to wikipedia.

-Stamina Templar: Backwater Savage. Name came to me, with some help from some guildmates

-Magicka Warden: Kakashi's Challenge. Was watching Naruto on Netflix, try to catch these bells

We're a new aussie based guild, and I'm not kidding when I say new, but you have to start somewhere. Beside luting, we're a social guild for all levels and experience. We do have a preference for 18+ players

We concentrate on PvE content. Have guild house and Discord. PST for invite or Info.

Takeaway Broth prices are too damn high!

Almost a year in, and the stuff is still more than twice as expensive to make as citrus filet.
Although Powdered Mother of pearl was made available as a drop from Alchemy crafting writs, the drop rate seems to be so low it hasn't affected the availability in the market AT ALL. I've been doing alchemy writs on 2 chars per day since wrathstone and haven't gotten a single one from them yet.
Either the drop rate of Mother of Pearl needs to be significantly increased, preferably from the writ rewards, rather than the rare resource node unique to a single zone that is locked behind an expansion. Or the amount of Pearls needed to craft a Broth needs to be reduced significantly, to 2 or at least 3. It's ridiculous that 5 of those are needed for the recipe.
ZOS's itemization people, y'all should take a hard look at this.

You nerf the damage and enchant for 1h because its not fair to 2h.

But to make it fair, buff the attack/swing speed of 1h, because 1h should be faster than 2h.

This should put things in balance. Maybe 2x speed on 1h would be enough.

We want feline mounts the next Crown Crate season

When Murkmire and the Xanmeer Crate Season came around last year, I was absolutely dumbfounded by the ingenuity of the lizard-steeds. Indeed, these beasts, meshing lizards with other beasts of Tamriel in the most beautiful of ways brought tears to both my eyes and the eyes of several of my friends, as well as many of you dear members on this forum, I am quite sure.

Just look at this handsome beast! A senche-lizard? Yes, please!

But not only did ZOS Lizardize the furred animals of Tamriel, oh no. Even our beloved guar, everyone's dearest TES-animal, got a much-needed overhaul! Can you even look at those spines without weeping with joy?

And so, with the future Crown Crate uncertain, I believe it is quite clear what the players want. What we all want. We want a Crown Crate with mounts inspired by Elsweyr, beautiful and sleek, much like our feline co-inhabitants; the Khajiit. can you imagine it, fellow forum readers? A feline guar, or a feline senche! A feline wolf and a feline camel! Indeed, with lizard-steeds being a part of our TES-universe, would it be far-fetched to also include an alchemically altered breed of mounts?

ZOS, make this a thing, NOW!

Loading into game but put back into character selection everytime

Ever since I tried to log into the 5 days ago I've been repeatedly put back into the character selection screen. I've tried to log in on 3 different consoles, different internet connections, and have been in support for 5 days with no solutions (I've been waiting for a specialist team or something like that for 2 days to contact me) Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas? Thanks everyone!

DW/1H Enchants Full Strength On Main Hand

Can we please end this half strength nonsense? The values on DW and 1H weapons are just pathetic. This should be an easy fix. Just make it so we get a full strength enchant on the main hand weapon and the off hand in DW is disabled. Does anyone enjoy the half strength DW enchant or think it’s still beneficial over one full strengtht enchant? This goes for PvP and PvE imo. (obviously half strength of 1H Shield is beyond stupid)

Lethal arrow change from major defile to minor defile. thx for the buff

According to the hints we got from the press event in London, Lethal Arrow will probably changed to minor defile.
Won´t this just further buff snipe spammers? Together with a disease glyph, snipers will be able to land major and minor defile together...

Is this really intended or is there something I miss, because I don´t play bow chars?

Dislcaimer: I know the changes aren't set in stone just yet but I know far too well when it comes to the DrragonKnight class it might as well be as every change has proven this.

I played this game when my mate showed me his character charging into battle surrounded with flames as he leaped into a crowd and later on I felt it was my turn to join the frame. Unfortunately for better or worse many of the skills I've known have changed and so has a good portion of the class identity.
Back then we were a class that was built to stand its ground, the longer we did the more of a threat we would become as the enemy ran out of resources faster than we did and we were able to build resources back a lot easier. We had passives that actually aided the mantra ZOS continually championed i.e "Play how you want" which was to suggest you can do whatever playstyle you want and not be held back from doing so.
Fast forward today those passives are all but gone or nerfed to the point they no longer functioned as they once did... so much for that mantra huh.

No one in game-chat at-least when I played more actively complained about Dragon Knight wings and how they can't do X play-style simply because players learned how to do what they want through trial and error. ZOS now side steps this by continually catering to them whether it be PvP related issues, or PvE related issues it's always been the same damn thing and a prime example would be Emperor and it's vast changes/things introduced to counter something that takes dedication to achieve.

Instead of removing reflect how about you tell players that in this game there are things called CCs and they could help you land your abilities. I've hated so many abilities from other classes but not once did I call for ZOS to remove Cloak, Fear, RD (even when it could 1 tap you although I wanted some counter), streak, templar circle, BoL, etc. Why didn't I you ask? Well because I learned to bloody adapt and face the situation/adapt to those situations as they introduced themselves to me.

You ZOS are the developers and it's the developers job NOT STREAMERS to instruct the player base on how to be competent in their play-styles and achieve results through information. Imma wra[ this up since I could go on especially with the better DK class introduced i.e Necromancer and the lack of any new class specific skills since the launching of this game but that would be a massive 2/3 paragraphs especially if I touch on skills some more.

Remember those times that Dragonknights killed snipers with their own snipe? Next patch Dragonknights can't do that anymore and instead, wings will reduce the damage of the incoming projectiles by 50% which will make it a boring skill. Do you think Dragonknights will be fun to play next patch?

We are an EP based guild that is open to any alliance. We are an active, but casual guild and have expanded the guild's experience online to Azura's Keep at obsidianguard.com and Discord for mobile chat. This is where our members organize groups for PvE/Undaunted dailies/dungeons. The guild hosts regular events such as a monthly lottery, dolmen and world boss completions, skyshard hunting, PvP nights, sewer runs, social trials, etc. We also hold special events/contests where prizes are awarded.

Interested in leveling your crafting? We have master crafters that can help you level your crafting skills or create gear for your characters. Zos should up the tickets.

New mount should be a fresh start. People have lives and things to take care of. There are tons of players i know who are playing catch up because they were out of town for a full event.

Its a new mount and people shouldnt be screwed over and permanently behind on things. Like if your trying to play catch up real bad and are putting in the effort and making sure your on every single day and getting the tickets then you should at least be able to get the mount for that season. It should be at least 80 tickets.

"Now Is the Time for an Account Wide Achievement System" or "Why Don't Play Alts"

I've been playing Elder Scrolls Online for five years now (since beta) and I have characters that were created since launch. I used to be against an account wide achievement system but now that the game is nearly five years old it is unrealistic to expect someone to create an alt now and have it ever eclipse or overtake their other characters in achievements. Basically it makes me never want to make an alt because, looking at the Achievements page, they look pathetic in comparison. I think the time has come to either introduce an account wide Achievement system. Players should be able to view their character-only achievements to see their progress on things like quests, etc. Without an account wide system though it feels like all newer characters are throwaway (especially with how easy it is to level now) and I quickly lose interest in playing. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

It's Time : 1 decon = 1 style mat

Style materials, which have gone from essential gear crafting components to essential housing crafting components, are considerably harder to come by than they should be. Part of the driving force for this is the fact that deconstructing gear simply does not give a style material half the time (or worse, if I'm to believe my own experiences on the matter). A similar claim could be made for other important items, like rare trait stones, but for now let's focus on style items. It's time we were able to decon gear with a 100% return rate on style materials! And while we're at it, give us the style material for unreleased dungeon motifs early, too!! I don't want all this Meridian gear cluttering up my bank space just so I can decon 20 of them for 3 style items later.
