Art commissions for ingame gold?

Hey!
ESO community is very creative and one of the popular forms of fan-art is character portraits. Who wouldn't want to have a portrait of their beloved character? But art is an expensive thing, it's not something everyone can easily afford. But how about drawing for in-game gold? It's a pretty popular service in many MMORPGs but technically it's gold selling, right? Or not really?

Some quotes:
“ZeniMax does not recognize any purported transfers of virtual property executed outside of the Game, or the purported sale, gift or trade in the "real world" of anything that appears or originates in a Service or a Game. Accordingly, You may not sell, and You may not assist others in selling, Service(s) or in-Game items for real currency, or exchange those items for value outside of the Services. Evidence of any attempt to redeem Downloadable Content for a purported exchange, sale, gift or trade in the "real world" will result in the immediate suspension or termination of Your Account.”

It sounds pretty obvious but at the same time, this practice is very common in MMO communities. Could @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom please elaborate this tricky matter? Am I allowed to draw for people for in-game gold or crowns? Or is it against ToS? Would anyone get hurt for such practice? I would be happy to make my art affordable for people but I definitely don't want to get them into troubles.

Necro should be able to pull players from walls

I'm to lazy to look it up, but you probably have read about the Necromancer's skill wich gives the major armor buffs for twenty seconds and will pull ranged attackers while active.

This skill should be able to pull players, including siege users, from keep walls. I'm of the opinion, and I know many will disagree, that we need a mechanic like this to make the siege phase of keep battles more exciting.

I would be fine with also DK Chains and Silver Leash pulling enemies from walls, but the Necro skill, wich cannot be aimed by the pulling player, is kind of a middle way.

There should be no pulling into the keep to avoid exploiting. Alternatively, the rules could be changed such that pulling into a keep is not considered exploiting anymore (not sure this is a good idea).

You might guess by now that I'm not a fan of the wallhuging playstyle. I don't want to destroy it completely, but there should be a bit more risk. Similar to how you can get pulled when defending / attacking an open breach or gate.

Domihaus AOE Not Working As Designed??? Please Help Confirm

Something seems off with Domihaus' AOE 1-sec tic damage so I did some quick experiments this morning and seem to see the following:
  1. When Domihaus procs any enemies within the ring WHEN it flares up do NOT receive any tic damage. They stand there well inside the ring damage free. BUG
  2. When Domihaus procs any enemies that enter the ring AFTER it flares up DO receive tic damage as they cross the ring's boundary. WORKING AS DESIGNED
  3. I did not confirm if AFTER the ring flares and an enemy passes the boundary (getting damage at the boundary) if he STILL receives tic damage when fully entered within the ring (i.e. fully passed through the ring's boundary.) NOT CONFIRMED ONE WAY OR THE OTHER YET

I didn't bother with the the details of the last item as the 1st item seems pretty bad bug that needs to get fixed. Can anyone confirm the broken behavior?

So after all this time all the bugs that were noted in Hel Ra Citadel and the fact its been in the game since they released Craglorn a couple of months after a launch the entire trial is still buggy as hell.

BUGS:

- Left side(BOSS:Yokeda Rok’dun) bugged because right side wiped; Boss wouldn't phase back in and disappeared after right side wiped, which then prevents progression for the entire group forcing left side to go all the way around through right sides area to progress. Sometimes the doors on right side remain closed as well forcing a restart.

Additional Left side bug information:
Also add to that list if there are wipes after the left side wipes, you can't rez at all when combat ends. @ZOS_Finn

- Right side(BOSS: Yokeda Kai) bugged because Right side wiped; Increased damage from all clones and boss - People started getting one shot by fire meteors from the boss and clones as well as the impulse attack they have which still killed people through block and 100% stamina which only happens if you wipe which sucks.

Most of the wipes on right side also come from the fact that the AoEs often detonate before the animations have finished being channeled by the boss/clones meaning people dont have time too block, The AoEs also do not fit the animations visually being represented causing the Impulse ability to kill you even if you're not in the AoE. Which is stupid. There really isn't a good reason for this to happen tbh.

In other words the game registers as there still being 6 players on the right side preventing any kind of replacement for the group should there be one needed and forcing a restart of the entire trial.

Horn/Gauntlet Before Warrior:
After using the horn to get the achievements if everyone wipes nobody can res because the game waits for the battle to end that never does actually end, it forces a group member to leave the group, rejoin and run all the way around right side and res everyone.

These bugs have been here since....well forever...I really don't understand how you can just leave end game content bugged for eternity as if it doesn't matter...

There are workarounds of course but for a AAA games this can't be considered "acceptable".

Do you "play the game" after you finish the required dailies?

Whenever there are some required dailies to do (for event tickets or time limited items etc), after finishing them I just want to log off
Does it happen to you people as well?
Previously I was doing quests on my other characters (to build up their back story), play dungeon with my special builds like ice dps and stam warden etc..and I just can't find myself spending more time in ESO if I had to get several dailies done

Currently we are too small to offer any large incentives but can offer armor and weapons and adventuring aides to assist you in your adventuring. You will be given assistance in crafting, trading, questing and PvP..Leave your gamer tag and you will be invited to EB. You can be a part of up to 5 guilds. Make us one of them.

Rude behaviour in BG’s

Yesterday I was in a battleground with a PUG facing 2 very strong high MMR teams, I think both were premades but at least one certainly was, using the permafrost cheese. Thankfully our pug consisted of competent players and an excellent warden healer, so we actually managed to finish second, only 10 points below the premade. It was one of those matches that time out before the max score is reached.
Anyway as a melee magblade with 1 AOE on my backbar and a stamblade (other player) staying in an AOE ball isn’t really optimal, but we all tried our best. Me and the stamblade player ended up with both 6 or 7 kills and as many deaths, healer bit less, and the final player had 13 kills.
So at the end this 13 kill player with an east-ruropean/russian name suddenly started ranting how we all sucked, should be ashamed of ourselves and how he had single handedly carried the team. Straight to the ignore list, but it did make me wonder if other people see that kind of behaviour often in BG’s?

I have 3 miniature khajiit who occupy my lap and desktop space whenever I'm on ESO. One even helps me in combat by pawing the monitor during combat (and unfortunately when he sees the glowing red orbs from Ebon Armor).

On boss fight I sustein 10-12k dps depending on the lenght of the fight chucking potions every CD and using blood food on maxHP/Mag.

Gear I use legendary law of Julianos (Staff/Chest/Pants/Gloves) with legendary enchants and 5 piece Magus purple with purple enchant. Sadly I still wear weak blue shoulder and head.

As I am really into Necromancy, and sometimes it gets under my skin when people keep repeating same old misconception about The Art...

NO, NECROMANCY IS NOT ILLEGAL, except for Morrowind, Hammerfell, and Valenwood, and maybe some other places. Necromancy not only perfectly legal in Elsweyr, but also traditional Khajiit culture sees no sanctity in a dead body and have no superstitious prejudices against Necromancy.

NO, NECROMANCY IS NOT "ENSLAVEMENT OF SOULS". It could be done, but you also could burn orphanage with Destruction, which does not mean that Destruction is school of magic that burns orphanages - it's an obvious logical FALLACY. Furthermore, known necromantic texts advice against trying to do so (with an unwilling soul), even for a practical reasons - it's dangerous and have no benefits.

SOUL TRAPPING IS NOT DANGEROUS OR IMMORAL, UNLESS DONE WITH A BLACK SOULSTONE. Roughly speaking, there are two main components of a soul in TES, similar to Vodou, for example. There are "big souls", which are "fuel" - they can be captured by usual soulstones, and the there are "small souls" which are consciousnesses, and they can be trapped by black soulstones - it is enslavement of a soul, obviously bad thing.

And daedra summoning, when it concernes summoning unwilling sentient daedra, more dangerous and morally questionable than Necromancy.

Faction Lock? Really? Again?

When I first saw the faction lock threads I thought to myself: "don't worry - this idea is so bad that it will never be implemented".
And now ZOS is actually going to put faction lock? Again? It didn't work the first time!

Have faction lock advocates really ignored the obvious problems that this is going to introduce?

Faction lock will effectively delete almost two thirds of all pvp characters for everyone who prefers noCP! How?
There is going to be only one noCP campaign! This means that only one third of many peoples characters will be able to play in pvp.
I for example have 3 chars in AD, 3 in DC and 2 in EP. And I love playing them all in noCP campaign.

Do I hop between campaigns to be on the winning side?
No! Why would I? I play for fun - not some fleeting victory that I had no inluence on because of so many players involved.

Do I hop between campaings to troll, spy or grief?
No! Why would I? It's boring.

I have created characters on every alliance for two reasons:
1. Experience the three banners war from every side.
2. Play with all of my friends who happen to have only one or two chars that are pvp ready.

With the faction lock I will be able to play with only 3 of my characters every month. CP is far too laggy for me to be even playable so if I were forced to play it, I would just turn off ESO and go play some other game (Overwatch for example). Even if I had better ping and actually could play CP, then still two or three of my characters would be effectively deleted from Cyrodill pvp.

And now the faction lock will have the following negative effects on me and every other player like me:
2. Completely prevent us from playing around two thirds of our characters if we prefer the noCP or CP campaign only.
3. Completely prevent us from playing around one third of our characters if we do not have preference on CP.
4. Prevent us from playing with many of our friends who happen to have pvp ready characters in other alliances.
5. Increase queue time on CP campaings since many players from noCP campaings will go there to play some of their characters that are locked our from noCP campaign.
6. Increase hatred between players of different alliances since faction lock will enforce alliance identity.
7. Decreasing overall monthly transmute crystals yield from tier one rewards since not all characters will be able to get them.
8. Making Cyrodill literally unplayable for anyone who wants some challenge and finds himself in a faction that is dominating.
9. Almost completely preventing people from playing in their favourite campaing if it is at maximum population capacity. Now we can just queue on another character. With faction lock we will either have to wait an hour to play or leave the game completely and play sth else.
10. Making some factions have significant numbers advantage untill the end of campaing. If for some reason one faction happens to have significantly less people than the others then that faction will be in constant disadvantage untill the end of the campaing.
11. Guilds will be literally able to choose the winning side just by grouping up to all queue on one campaing and on the same side. Some guilds care only about APs and they will gladly work with other like minded guilds to choose the dominant alliance and farm as many AP and rewards as possible.

All of these problems and probably even more that I haven't thought of and for what?
To reduce trolling?
Trolls troll because they like to troll. Those that want to troll will still do it without even batting an eye on their impact on the alliance end score. They will just troll in their home campaigns.

To reduce spying?
People who do not care about the score will still spy for their friends.

PvP for many people is the endgame - the thing they do when they have finished every single trial and dungeons so many times that they are too bored to play them.
With faction lock many people will stop playing pvp. And that means less eso+ subscriptions -> lower playerbase -> less money for game content, development and improvement.

And we can't solve all these issues just by introducing more campaings. The more campaings there are the greater chance that some of them will be dead.

I personally feel like group dueling could add so much more possibilities to the game, from guild events, to dueling large groups of friends, etc.
