This is the official feedback thread for the new houses and furnishings. Please note many of the new furnishings are still being implemented. Hall of the Lunar Champion will be available to test starting on the first week, and Jode’s Embrace will be available starting the second week. Specific feedback that the team is looking for includes the following:
  • What are your general thoughts on new house, Hall of the Lunar Champion?
  • Was it clear how to acquire and unlock an additional wing of this home through main quest participation?
  • What are your thoughts on the new Furnishing Pack bundles in the Crown Store?
  • What do you think of the Achievement furnishings and new furnishings in the Housing Editor?
  • Do you have any other general feedback?

This pet sorc video I just watched had the most broken footage I have ever seen, he is able to take on a huge amount of enemy players with little to zero difficulity. Why has zenimax not fixed this? It is clearly overperforming. No player should be able to take on 10 people and win by himself. As much as I have enjoyed his content and think he is a funny guy - this is just not fair. I think he is a skilled player but he should not be quite this effective.

Encounter Logging

With the release of Elsweyr, we're adding the capability for PC players to export group based encounter logs to a local file, located in the Logs folder within your Elder Scrolls Online document folder. These logs can then be uploaded to https://www.esologs.com/, a website created by one of our community members, https://twitter.com/KihraOfTemerity. Here you can do a deep dive into logged combat events within your group to see things like damage, healing, resource usage, and much more.

To start an encounter log, enter "/encounterlog" into chat (without the quotes). Once you're finished, you can type "/encounterlog" a second time to disable logging. You'll see a system message each time letting you know if you've started logging or stopped it. You will need an account on https://www.esologs.com/ and the uploader available there to view your group's logs.

You may remember that years ago, our addon API unintentionally allowed the ability to show group combat data in real time. While we saw a merit in this as tool, we disabled that capability due to the potential for misuse with having this information readily accessible in the game and in real time. Encounter logging provides a deep look into the same data, but external to the game and not in true real time. We believe these distinctions will swing the balance back towards using a tool like this for constructive purposes rather than nefarious ones. Additionally, we have added a setting located in the Combat settings menu that hides your character name from encounter logs. This means any combat events that are logged while you are present will display anonymously.

Uploading your encounter logs privately will be available on PTS, so please feel free to generate and submit encounter logs for the new Sunspire Trial or any of the dungeons. We'll also be giving an overview of the tool tomorrow on ESO Live, so please post any questions you have that you'd like for us to answer.

Wrathstone Skating the Ice achievement

Wrathstone - General - Skating the Ice - Have no group members get hit by Glaciation during your battle with the Weeping Woman in Depths of Malatar.


I went in just me and my friend, and we 110% did not touch the glaciation aoe at all, in fact weeping woman was dead within 45 seconds. The achievement did not pop up.

Is it bugged? Or you guys maybe thought this woman wept enough? @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom

WGT broken: Shattered Void impassable after the Elder Scrolls Library boss fight

Twice in a row now I've tried to run WGT. We can't get past the Shattered Void area after the 3-boss fight (Micella, Otho, and Cordius) before the Planar Inhibitor. It's the wide open area where portals spawn in sequence. Only the first third of the room spawns the portals that release mobs. After clearing those, no new portals or mobs appear. The door at the end to the Imperial Battlemage Quarters has a white "activatable" open sign, but clicking on it does nothing, presumably because we haven't cleared the portals and mobs that won't appear. Going back to the previous room (Elder Scrolls Library) and returning does not help. We can't progress past this point. Dropping group, reforming, resetting the dungeon and retrying resulted in the same problem at the same exact point.

Tried to use the group finder for a dungeon. Had 2 DPS and a healer.
It kept trying to group and every time, declined, declined, declined
Then it said "cant que at this time"

This is really gona work well with people tomorrow trying to que for pledges to get the event boxes........not
Total failure again. I really dont understand why this doesnt seem to be able to be fixed....ever

I've been playing on console since release and I've always felt as though the console player base is just an afterthought to ZOS. With 2/3 of the player base you would think our opinion would be valued. But patch after patch more things are broken and then placed on the back-burner.

So how do you, as a console player, feel about the current state of the game? Do you feel valued, appreciated, or generally ignored when it comes to issues on console?

I',m sorry. I'm sorry for the griefing you had to endure to get your rewards. I truly am.
I've witnessed first hand how bad pvp can get if not managed proprerly.
This week should never have included town quest for rewards, only the normal main base quests should have had rewards, that way people could get rewarded for doing actual pvp, maybe learning a bit in the process, instead of being victim to the griefing that takes place at the towns now.
I sincerely hope you will come back to Cyrodiil, there are many awesome players to meet and learn from :)

Ignore the l2p and 'you-in-pvp'nao'so-anything-goes' muppets - they will comment here ;)

I hope to see you in Cyrodiil :D

Losing the entire map overnight.

I play on a non cp campaign. Populations are usually the highest at about 6-12 est and then dip overnight. The past few weeks i've looked at the portion my faction controls at the end of the night (usually a good portion, if not all) and when I log in the next morning, Red controls it all. There is nothing fun or satisfying about working all night to see your progress of controlling the map wiped out by a group of small players. I know its dumb of me to say "can you stop players from playing the game" but I think letting a group of players cap everything with little to no resistance every night isnt really good for the campaign. That factions always has the highest score because of this, and id suggest maybe closing campaigns during the night or something. I know that most likely wont happen I just thought id share my experience and feelings about this.

For increased visibility, would any console players be willing to share their wish list here for making ESO better on Playstation/Xbox?

I am aware of poor performance on some platforms, which is definitely on point!

But what about other things? Like building in some kind of gear/ability bar saving feature that PC players get with add-ons? Etc?

What are the biggest pain points?

A very simple improvement to stop BG queues 'bugging'

Ever sat there and had your queue pop a million times before you finally get into a match?

Occasionally this is due to people stream sniping. They'll keep declining the queue if they see that it isn't popping for the streamer that they want to play with/against.

The result of this is that other players have to sit there and keep clicking on our constantly popping queues, until we actually get into a game.

A simple fix to this would be to enforce a small window in which you cannot queue again, after you decline a queue pop (perhaps 2 minutes).

Curing Vampirism/WW

Are you only allowed to use the Priest once? I was a vampire, then WW, but now I can't find the person to cure me again. I've checked all mages guild halls. Evermore, Riften, and Rawl' kha. Nothing. I even went to Eyevea. So do I have to purchase the cure or have these NPCs moved?
