[Artem Mortis] is large Social guild that has several PvE events that is looking for members!
We offer a steady trader in the Alik'r Desert that has no requirements for using. If you choose you could never post a thing on the trader but many of our members have been known to make hundreds of thousands of gold using her so why not! Since we have no weekly dues our trader is 100% funded by weekly guild fundraisers and donations from leadership and guild members.
We host Normal Trial events every Tuesday at 10pm EST. If you would like to join our trial team all guild members who are at least cp160 or higher can sign-up on the weekly sign-up sheets posted in our discord server. All trial members must listen in on discord, mic is not required though.
We have other events of every type imaginable hosted daily by our all-star group of officers/event runners, making sure there is something for you to do every single day of the week!
We have a very active Discord and a Website that contain every piece of knowledge you could ever need to succeed in ESO and thrive in our guild. Our Discord contains custom handmade walkthroughs complete with text and images for every single step made up for everything from installing addons to using the guild trader!
In addition, we also have the Most Wild, Active, and Uncensored Chat in all of Tamriel! Our chat is not filtered by our officers, so you can say anything you like Except for ABSOLUTELY NO HATESPEECH!!
Types of Hatespeech that this refers to includes but is not limited to:

Here is a look at our very full Weekly Event List that has new events added all the time!

Our event schedule for the week offers Weekly Events on every day, sometimes several on the same day. We even host some Events at the Early Hours of the Morning to cater to our Oceanic Members!. We also offer Gold-Making Seminars, PvP/PvE Workshops, and so much more.

How to fix v5.0.5 Cyrodiil in one easy tweak!
It has been said that:
1) Volendrung is OP and quite possibly bugged
2) Faction lock may lead to insurmountable leads by one faction
One easy fix: Adjust Volendrung so it spawns by a percentage change weighted by the faction standings, with the lowest faction receiving the greatest chance of a Volendrung spawn.

Now Recruiting ALL Newcomers
Divine Illusion
About the Guild:
Currently, this guild is a startup that my friend and I think it would have been a good idea to make a guild for newcomers to socialize and learn from each other. Divine Illusion is going to be a casual/PvE/social guild where all people can learn from each other and learn about ESO. I plan on in the future to have an event day where the guild either does dungeons, quests, world bosses, and trails. Also, I have a discord server that will be required to use when playing ESO after the guild is established and a website. However, for me to do all this, I need players who want to join and have fun.
About me:
ESO is going to be the 5th MMORPG that I have played during my career in gaming. The first MMORPG I played was FFXI, where I was a part of a linkshell where I was a primary healer. The next game I played was WoW where I owned a guild and was primary a DPS rouge for about 3 years. However, most of my friends stopped playing, so I decided to move onto SWTOR. In SWTOR, I was a tank in a small guild where we mostly raided. After a year, I quit the game because others started to quit, so I moved onto FFXIV where I become apart of a guild as the main tank. I quit the game because I had real life issues to solve, but by the time I came back, everyone I knew was gone. Within the last 3 years, I have been switching between D3 and MHW until a came across ESO, where I am going to be a primary tank.
Requirements:
• Mature and be respectful of others
• Must be able to use Discord voice chat
• When the website is set up, people will be required to signup
• Be as helpful as possible
The Future:
In the future, if enough people have joined, I will be looking for members to promote to a leadership role whether it be raid leader, event leader, or officer. Also, as mentioned before, a website will be built for socializing and FAQ’s if needed. Other ideas like promoting other games and making another guild for hardcore players can be discussed later.
One last thing, I believe teamwork is dream work meaning that if players all help each other out, we can all accomplish the same goal whatever that may be.
If anyone is interested in joining contact me via this post or in-game @Aftereffect123 or @Freymold.
Looking forward to seeing you join the Divine Illusion!

So what exactly are Bosmer good at now?
Are you trying to force people into playing certain races based on what class they want to play? If so, you may as well just remove the Bosmer race from the game entirely. Alcast's race guide does not list them as a suggested race for any role (tank, healer, stam DD, mag DD). Along with Nords, they're the only race not listed here. Probably because our stupid stealth detect and decreased fall damage passives are a pathetic slap in the face, as is the LACK of stealth capabilities.
So great, as a Bosmer I have a small chance of staying alive when I fall from high places. I already don't have a whole lot of health, especially now with the food nerfs, so I probably won't stay alive anyway. And then I can go into PvP and detect people as they pull me out of stealth, snare me, and Dawnbreaker me to death. Because again, I don't have a lot of health. OH, and I'm missing some stamina due to the food nerfs, so the relative cost of roll dodge and break free are higher. BUT WAIT, I can use Grim Focus as a burst heal! But only if I've managed to time things right and have a bow proc ready AND if I haven't left combat for a millisecond, since that's how long it takes to drop off if not fired immediately.
Back in the land of PvE, I'm now having horrific sustain issues on my stamblade due to the food nerfs. I guess I'll have to replace some of my weapon damage glyphs with stam ones. I have already lost at least 5k DPS thanks to the NB nerfs -and that's when I use Mark Target- so why the hell not just go ahead and lose more. I guess I now depend entirely on other people for buffs, which is fine in optimized group settings, but what about, I don't know, the entire rest of the time I'm playing?!?!
This is all just for my Bosmer stamblade, btw. I'm not even going to get into the Bosmer magblade. She had sustain issues pre-nerf, so I'm not even going to try a parse with her. She ded.
People say that we'll adapt. On the side of the Bosmer racial passives, no, you can't adapt to stupid. On the side of the nightblades, sure, and that's TOTALLY how the class should work, right? The stealth archer/stabby type now has to travel with a pack of other people to apply their buffs. Which isn't conspicuous at all and definitely doesn't undermine the idea behind the NB class. Right.
So you win. Neither of my main characters are fit for endgame vet trials like Cloudrest or Asylum Sanctorium, so I've made a Breton to min/max, which goes against everything I want to be (Bosmer, AD faction). Mag toons are pretty necessary in those trials and I can't have both the DPS AND the magicka sustain necessary for those trials on a magicka-based Bosmer character. At least I was able to make her kind of look like a Bosmer instead of the overly-demure Breton default which doesn't scream "badass" the way my Bosmer do.

Solution for overland difficulty that will suit everyone
I see discussions about overland being too difficult or too easy all the time, and both sides have valid arguments. So now I present to you a concept of a solution that will suit everyone (the exact numbers would of course have to be adjusted to be balanced).
A difficulty slider that does the following:
- increases damage taken by your char from overland/delve/public dungeon mobs by up to 20x
- reduces your damage done to those mobs by up to 20x on server side, on client side instead display up to 20x higher HP, so that the players have a consistent impression of their character's capabilities and see consistent damage numbers
- increases experience gained by up to 100% (to offset the time you would lose and make it worthwhile to level at higher difficulty if you're good enough)
- increases frequency and quality of gear and consumable drops (to aid dealing with the given difficulty level and provide incentives to use the higher difficulty). But don't add items that people at lower difficulty would not be able to get too, just for example make set and potion drops more likely.
Rules:
- the slider would affect all these settings proportionally so that everyone can pick their own "sweet spot" of risk vs. reward
- if people with a different difficulty setting were fighting the same mob, set rewards (XP and drops) for all those people to what the one with the lowest setting would get
- instead of doing population balancing among different shards randomly, try to group people with similar difficulty settings (make the range as small as you can while making the population look the same as it is now, dynamically adjusting ranges based on how many people there are in those given ranges), so that a random person who thinks that they are helping won't accidentally result in bad drops for the ones they are helping
- set quest rewards (gold and XP since adjusting the gear there would require a lot of work) to the equivalent of the lowest setting that you had since you picked up the quest
Doing it like this will provide incentives for people to get better without it preventing newbs from progressing and without making it boring for the pros who will be very unlikely to even encounter a newb in their travels (unless it's off-peak hours or such a newb ported to a friend/guildie who was at your setting).
I think this would be an optimal solution, because we won't have to find the "lowest common denominator", everyone would be able to pick whatever suits them, and due to the difficulty being adjusted procedurally, no game content would have to be changed at all, and it would be easy enough to implement within one DLC cycle without too much of a hassle. And should there be more power creep in the future, just increase the top end of the slider.

Taking a PvE build into Cyrodiil: Is this to be expected? (Not a complaint)
Simply looking to expand my knowledge here. I had my first trip into Cyrodiil today, using a build that was made specifically for dungeons.
Not gonna' lie, just using an Alcast build. I mean it works in dungeons, so hey.![:) :)]()
Anyway, I took that PvE dungeon build into Cyrodiil, and when faced with PvP... I died fast.
Now I know it's important to go into Cyrodiil with a PvP build, and I am working on gaining the skill points to expand my character's abilities.
I just want to ask, would my use of a PvE build today be a significant factor as to why I was pretty pants today?

To all of you upset for NA rawlkha guilds gone...
They seem to be, according to one of the guild a GM account, in Rimmen. I wonder now how many will go back to Rawl next week, and how long it'll be until someone yells this was all for show.
They'll get a bunch of money in anyway, after all. There you go.
Funny stuff, indeed.
Good luck all of you trading guilds!
Shame I can't go there yet. Gonna have to buy somewhere else.

Mulaamnir PC NA (Kyne/BWB NA PC - Final)
Against my better judgment, I will give this one last go. I believe that, for the most part, the discussions have been fun and enjoyable. I feel that I've gotten to know some people on other factions a bit, and it is cool being killed by someone you recognize!
Anyway, let's stick to talks of builds, funny stories (like the time I got jumped by 8 AD as I rode across the bridge and they bashed me to death as I fell out of my chair laughing), map strategy, which in game snacks you prefer, and of course... Ice trebs.

Observstions on AvA
Something I always found baffling in regards to the PvP mindset is the disdain for Zerglings. Whether it be a tight knit ball group or a full blown Zerg. It’s sorta of funny to watch the illogical arguments play out.
I suppose there’s a few different approaches to PvP, but I’m focusing solely on AvA areas.
The first argument I generally see is the 1v1 in an AvA area. A person engages in battle with another solo player, some people will see this and be like, “oh they’re dueling” and let them be, but if another person shows up to assist and ends up killing one of them, it’s straight to the forums. “I can’t 1v1 in Cyrodiil without someone else interrupting or killing me.” Which I get it, I do. You’re in heated battle with someone who is pretty good then bam some jerk jumps in and ruins it. It does. It sucks. But perhaps 1v1 in Cyrodiil isn’t the best place. They gave us dueling for a reason.
The next one is the 1vXer. I’ve seen some really good 1vXers. I personally can 1vX on potatoes and only potatoes. I know there are probably really great players who can do it to any adversary, I’m not one of those, but the thing I don’t think the 1vXer considers is that those potatoes eventually get better. Thus making it harder to 1vX. So they come to the forum and complain that the 1vX element is gone. Or again, they get run down by a more competent group. or they get zerged, but again AvA area.
Next is the ball group vs Zerg. Now this one can either go two ways. Ball group is a well oiled machine running through zergs of Pugs, or Ball group is a well oiled machine that runs into a Zerg that’s a well oiled machine. These can go either way, but generally again the stigma usually falls on the Zerg who is in an AvA area doing the objective that was intended.
I just find it sort of funny that people get so salty when they know they are in an AvA area yet it’s the zergs that are ruining it. Especially when you can duel, go to BGs, go to smaller scale IC, when you can whisper the person telling them to meet you at a place less crowded. Personally I think ZoS did enough to cater to almost all play styles for PvP. The only thing about zergs that I don’t care for is the downgrade in performance when they are packed together. But that is more of a server issue.
Inb4 “confirmed zergling”, just saying it might not be the Zerg it might be you that is the issue.

Encounter Logging
With the release of Elsweyr, we're adding the capability for PC players to export group based encounter logs to a local file, located in the Logs folder within your Elder Scrolls Online document folder. These logs can then be uploaded to https://www.esologs.com/, a website created by one of our community members, https://twitter.com/KihraOfTemerity. Here you can do a deep dive into logged combat events within your group to see things like damage, healing, resource usage, and much more.
To start an encounter log, enter "/encounterlog" into chat (without the quotes). Once you're finished, you can type "/encounterlog" a second time to disable logging. You'll see a system message each time letting you know if you've started logging or stopped it. You will need an account on https://www.esologs.com/ and the uploader available there to view your group's logs.
You may remember that years ago, our addon API unintentionally allowed the ability to show group combat data in real time. While we saw a merit in this as tool, we disabled that capability due to the potential for misuse with having this information readily accessible in the game and in real time. Encounter logging provides a deep look into the same data, but external to the game and not in true real time. We believe these distinctions will swing the balance back towards using a tool like this for constructive purposes rather than nefarious ones. Additionally, we have added a setting located in the Combat settings menu that hides your character name from encounter logs. This means any combat events that are logged while you are present will display anonymously.
Uploading your encounter logs privately will be available on PTS, so please feel free to generate and submit encounter logs for the new Sunspire Trial or any of the dungeons. We'll also be giving an overview of the tool tomorrow on ESO Live, so please post any questions you have that you'd like for us to answer.
