Minor Heroism Potion

Appearantly there are new ingredient which can be dropped from Dragons that gives Minor Heroism. How long does it lasts?

Time for a generic magicka execute spell?

$

Well, I know most class execute skills are magicka-based... but we have three weapon execute skills for stamina to compensate. Some classes like Necromancer and Warden don't have a specific execute skill, so what about a destruction staff one? Destructive Touch seems to be a good candidate. It could work the same way Poison Injection does (damage over time deals additional damage to low health enemies). What do you think?

The Tonenaka Shrine

So as I'm leaving the Hall of the Lunar Champion house I just got, I see a book down some stairs. I go and read it, and apparently the building I'm standing in front of is the fabled Tonenaka Shrine that a Tsaesci chronicler is supposed to reside in. I don't know how many of you guys have seen it, but you can go up to it, and when you click "open" all it says is that the shrine is sealed. Does this mean that in the future it'll be open somehow? Because that'd be a pretty awesome addition to the already amazing chapter.

Here's a pic of said shrine: 5Hl1vL0.png

The problem with faction lock for the veteran PvP players

$

Like many of the folks I play with on a daily basis, we have been here since launch. Over the past almost 5 years, many of us have made friends on all 3 factions, especially since One Tamriel. After one has been playing a game for 5 years, fighting the same groups day in and day out, presents little challenge. There are also times of the day or certain days of the week, where the populations in Cyrodiil are grossly imbalanced. So you have players, like myself, who will swap to our other faction toons because we prefer to not be a part of the zerg trains. Example: it's Monday night and EP has a queue of 70+, but I want to play in Cyrodiil. I don't have over an hour to waste sitting in a ridiculous queue, so I choose to gather a few friends from my guilds to play on AD or DC where the queues are shorter or where more balance might be needed. Because honestly, how fun is it to constantly be on the side who is on the larger side of a 30 v 5 fight? Where is the challenge in that? That's not PvP, that's giving the opponent no chance at all.

There has always been a tinfoil hat brigade that is under the assumption that griefing or spying is prevalent, when in fact, it hasn't been a problem in 4 years. The few that do, will find a way to be trolls regardless of the changes ZOS makes. Because the conspiracy theorists shout the loudest, those of us who have friends across all 3 sides, are now forced to choose to essentially retire multiple toons or go to dead campaigns. We no longer have any flexibility to enjoy the game with whomever we like. We no longer have the option to go to the losing side when large groups are mowing over entire maps (which is quite frankly boring and what is truly ruining Cyrodiil). We no longer have the option to play the toons we poured hours of work into without being penalized. We no longer have the option to engage in interesting fights against new opponents.

Faction locking serves no purpose other than to ostracize a large portion of the veteran PvP community. I'm not alone in saying this will probably be the end of my subscription. I know many who have said the same. That's $180/year ZOS will no longer see from me and it will also influence my decision to purchase new content. With no resolution to performance issues in sight, and now this, why would I?

The proposed changes are further evidence that ZOS doesn't actually understand the actual problems with Cyrodiil and just wants to slap a bandaid on it, again, to appease some players, but give the rest of us another reason to jump ship the minute an even slightly better game comes along. Many of us inch closer to that ledge every day we log in.

How do I solve this dependency thing?

Really, this is getting on my nerves already. I need two addons to work, but they're missing sobre things. Where do I find them? How do it install them?

Next Chapter : Location Confirmed!

Little early for spoilers, but as we all know by know whenever someone in one zone mentions a different zone, regardless of how tangentially, that place is CONFIRMED for the next chapter immediately. So yeah, Greenshade! I wonder, what exciting new developments wait in the land of the Bosmer? And how will the new zone will compare to DLC so far? Time will tell, I guess!

Seriously, this game is too easy and the overworld needs to be buffed heavily.

So with the new expansion, I decide to try something new. You know I'll just grind necro on a more min-maxed toon like redguard later, I just want to enjoy the story and experience casually like I would any Elder Scrolls game. (yes I'm weird like that). Sadly, this game is just too easy and I'm honestly tired of hearing people say the open world PVE isn't too easy. I have used 0 of my champion points, I also used no weapons or armor. Guess what? I can run through everything just like I would with CP and gear on. There's virtually no chance of me dying against trash mobs, even the "bosses" of quests are not a challenge. When we talk about the game being too easy, this is the number one issue. Since T1 scaled everything in this game, everything has just became far too easy. To the point I can't even take off all my CP, all my clothes, and go around bare knuckle boxing people, and I still feel like some overpowered god which ruins my immersion.

I know ZOS is trying to make their game as easy as possible for people ot zoom right through as if they're speedrunning. But you know some of us, actually want a little bit of a challenge, we want to die to trash mobs if we aggro too many, ESPECIALLY in the overworld. Some of us want the bosses of quests or delves to be actually challenging, maybe similar to soloing a solo-able world boss. Aside from everything else, I'm not saying we need harder vet dungeons (we do, they're incredibly easy besides a few DLC ones), but I am saying we need a harder overworld.

Some questions on builds, regarding what I feel may have been a bad idea/move

$

I think we can all understand why so many people give the "default" advice of "look at Alcast" when responding to people looking for build advice. A simple Google search alone of "ESO Builds" gives his site as the first result, without fail.

But after about five months of playing, I'm starting to question if that's the right thing to be doing, as someone who struggles to builds together himself.

Now, to clarify, I'm not bashing on Alcast. I've no doubt his published builds are great. I've no doubt his unpublished builds are even greater, if he has any. Actually it's precisely because they're good that I'm starting to wonder if they're really the best thing for someone who still very much considers himself a novice at best. But, with this said, Alcast is an exceptionally talented player, which gives me reason to doubt whether I should be looking that high right now, for build advice.

What I mean to ask is, would you say that the builds on his site have a higher skill requirement? I know ESO isn't the easiest game to play, and I'm not asking how I can be an elite player. That would be absurd. I'm simply looking to be able to achieve the following:

My goal is simply to be able to clear vet content. I don't really care about the skins, or the titles, or anything like that. Right now I just want to focus on being able to clear content. I'm currently struggling with harder content, such as DLC Vet dungeons.

I guess what I am asking is, should I look elsewhere for build hints/tips/ideas because I might find builds that are easier to play? Builds that have a lower skill requirement? I'm a stamblade BTW for my main, but I've finally started branching out to tanks and healers as well.

Can anyone make any suggestions on other sources?

As ever, I appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

Miat's is still sometimes telling its user about attacks from stealth

$

Something I've been annoyed about I think I have a more reasonable explanation for. People have been dodging my ganks sometimes especially on magblade. I think I may have figured out a combination of factors that explain some of those instances without intentional cheating.

So last night I was on a resource trying out new magblade. A fellow magblade came in stealthed up and came to attack me. I was standing amidst the NPCs on the flag blocking when I heard the Miat's terrible screech go off. Figuring someone was out of stealth attacking from off screen I dodged. It was the opening of the magblade, even though they were in stealth. Interestingly during the fight that was the only time Miat's indicated and incoming attack from stealth. I just did the normal thing of either blocking, kiting through NPCs or Shadowy Disguising etc in response after that.

A lot of the times I've had my attacks from stealth dodged were when I was in range of NPC's sight. Something about that might be somehow moving at minimum the attack indication back into a state that Miat's can report on. So many of the times I kind of thought someone went out of their way to get something to dodge attacks from stealth may have been people innocently using Miat's.

I mostly don't use Miat's for its screech on attack function and mostly for the reporting on the status of objectives. I don't usually use it period because I think generally not only are the screeches annoying but they're some of the least informative indications of incoming attacks and mostly are a bit of an overload. Also knowing the precise status of flags and resources is only most important for me when I'm trying to figure out if I have enough time to ride over and attempt a bomb.

Now I think if I keep using it knowing it rarely gets data on ganks that I shouldn't have any business knowing about is exploiting. I hope ZOS can figure out why that happened and fully fix stealthed attacks from becoming a part of the data Miat's and add-ons like it have access to.

The way it works now hurt your dps of your not in melee range. For a stamnec its ok but for a magnec its a bit disapointing.

Beeing further away makes the travel time taking more time preventing you from re-casting it.

Its just weird to be a magcika character with a destro staff and having to be in melee range to do a top dps rotation.

Hello everyone!

As part of Update 6, we are introducing the Crown Store: an in-game store where you can purchase customization and convenience items. The store offers consumables you can use to save time on in-game activities (like experience and crafting boosters, for example) along with new customization options including costumes, exotic pets, and mounts. When the Crown Store launches, we’ll have a number of items available immediately, but what about the future? Tell us what sorts of goods and services you would like to see offered in the Crown Store – you can be as general or specific as you’d like.

You can view some of the planned Crown Store items at the following link, beginning at 23:59 http://www.twitch.tv/zenimaxonlinestudios/v/3711373

We look forward to reading your ideas and feedback!

We are a social PvE/PvP guild with lots of experienced AND unexperienced members that loves to hang out.

We host events such as Map runs, Trials (learning, normal and Veteran), raffles, PvP (Cyrodiil, IC(s), BG's), dungeon runs and so on.
For the Cyrodiil and Imperial City (sewers) events we rotate the alliances so one week we have AD, another DC and so on. We are a AD guild though :kissing_heart:

We welcome everyone no matter experience in the game.

Our roster are filling up fast but we do have a few spots left

Elsweyr Traders

So Elsweyr is a Chapter, yes? Then why is there only 6 Trader NPC's?! Morrowind and Summerset both have so many more! The Trader Situation is dire, we've all been calling for more Traders to be put in, and we get 6?! Surely I'm not alone in this. Are there plans to input more or something that we've not been told about?

Sheo's Mortals End Game PvE guild. Members of all skill levels, DLC Vet trial HMs to first timers

$

Sheogorath's Mortals is one of the original PvE guilds on the server. We have 470+ members that help each other with builds, pledges, trials, crafting, and more. We also have a guildhall with plenty of various sized dps dummies and a transmute station.

We accept players of all skill levels. If you've never finished a veteran dungeon, or if you have completed veteran hard mode trials like VMoL and VCR+3, we'll have something for you.

With an active discord full of experienced players from all across the server we can help you with whatever your character build may need including your attribute points, skill sets, champion point allocation, dungeon mechanics, or anything else you may need. Even if it’s PvP help, we're sure to have a player that can assist you.

We run all sorts of trials. From first time training runs, to our core that clears DLC and HM trials, we're bound to have a group for you.

GM is based in NA pacific time zone, and we have officers all across NA time zones as well as New Zealand. We also have high ranking members from all over the globe, so we remain somewhat active at all hours of the day.

We're currently at 5 raid teams, some that run two scheduled raids a week, some with one scheduled run a week.

Team Cheese dlc hm trial progression - running mondays and thursdays 6:00 PM PST (9EST)

New untitled team, dlc hm trial progressions and achievements - Sundays roughly(theyre still deciding) around 6pm PST

Team Wabbajack, weekly trials and dlc runs that are open to some first timers - Fridays 8PM PST(11 pm EST)

Team Stands in Red, trial progression team that just finished crag hms and is moving into dlc trials now - Friday and sunday 4:30 PM PST(7:30 EST)

Booms Basic Training - General training runs, mostly in crags, some vet dlcs, and some normal trial farms - Saturday 6PM PST (9PM EST)

we also schedule impromptu runs several times a week with signups for training, score runs, gear farms, or general plunder/fun runs. outside of all these if you watch our guild chat we have several other random trials that members can join!

If you're looking for real end game progression, without the elitist mentality, no need to look any further. Dont be shy, contact @hamrb or recruiting officer @symbolseka in game for invites and information. Replys here in the forums will be responded to as well, but its much faster to contact me in game with mail.

Only two requirements, 160+cp (if youre close to that number we can work something out) and membership to our discord(mic not required outside of core teams). discord info to be shared when you join the guild

Thanks! Hope to be playing with you all soon!

Note. Remember to send in game mail, not whispers. because we've accidentally missed a few whispers while afk or in content

Currently ppl with multiple accounts still bypassing this rule. And account is really just a 1 time investment, it’s also dirt cheap.

My idea: campaign faction lock based on IP. Once this is enforced, ppl who still insist on faction hopping will need to also buy vpn.
